        BaFBr:Eu^2+ 형광체의 열발광 및 광자극발광 특성

        BaFBr:Eu^2+ 형광체를 제조하고, 이 형광체의 열발광 특성과 광자극발광 특성을 조사하였다. 이 형광체의 열발광 g1ow 피이크 온도는 352K와 448K였으며, 주 피이크(352K)에 관여하는 트랩의 활성화에너지는 약 0.96eV이었다. 또한 이 형광체의 광자극발광 스펙트럼의 파장범위는 350~450nm 사이였으며, 광자극발광에 기여하는 트랩의 활성화에너지는 약 0.98eV이었다. 열발광트랩과 광자극발광 트랩의 활성화에너지는 실험오차 내에서 일치하였다. BaFBr:Eu^2+ phosphors were prepared, and the thermoluminescence(TL) and photostimulatedluminescence(PSL) of the prepared phosphors were measured. Two glow peaks around 352 and 448 K are observed for x-ray irradiated BaFBr:Eu^2+ phosphors, and the activation energy of the main glow peak(352 K) was about 0.96 eV. The spectral range of the PSL was 350 ~450 nm, and the activation energy of the trap giving rise to PSL was about 0.98 eV. The activation energy of the traps giving rise to TL is agreed to those giving rise to PSL within experimental error.

      • CsI(Ag) 단결정의 육성과 섬광특성

        CsI(Ag) single crystals doped with 0.001, 0.003 and 0.005 mole % silver as activator were grown using the Czochralski method. The gamma ray energy spectrum is measured by the CsI(Ag) single crystals coupled to photomultiflier tube. It was confirmed that the crystal structure of grown CsI(Ag) was bcc, and that its lattice constant was 4.568Å. The energy resolution of CsI(Ag) for Cs-137 gamma ray was maximum when CsI(Ag) was doped 0.003 mole % silver, and its value was 9.84% the pulse height from the scintillation detector system using the CsI(Ag) single crystals was linear to gamma ray energy.

      • 압착방법별 포도 착즙액의 품질특성

        캠벨과 거봉을 이용하여 여러 가지 압착방법에 따른 착즙액의 이화학적 및 관능적 특성을 조사하였다. 수율의 경우 캠벨, 거봉이 동일하게 냉압처리보다는 온압처리가, 온압처리에서도 낮은 온도보다는 높은 온도에서 수율이 높게 나타났으며, 또 온압 · 펙틴분해 병행처리가 각각 83.5% , 87.3%로 가장 높은 수율을 나타내었다. 또한 당도와 아미노테 질소도 열처리온도의 상승 및 압착방법의 병행에 의해 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 적정산도는 캠밸과 거봉이 압착방법에 따라 각각 0.86 ~ 1.00%, 0.60 ~ 0.69%로 거봉에 비해 캠벨의 산도가 높았으며, 열처리온도가 산도 증감에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 압착방법에 따른 착즙액에 대한 관능검사 결과 열처리 온도의 상승 및 착즙액에 대한 관능검사 결과 열처리온도의 상승 및 압착방법의 병행에 의해 떫은 맛과 산맛의 강도가 강하여지고 이들 처리구의 기호도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. The physicochemical and sensory properties of Campbell Early and Gerbong juices prepared by various pressing methods were studied. The yields of these juices by mixed method were 83.5% and 87.5%, the highest value of various pressing methods. And soluble solids and amino nitrogens of them decreased as heating temperature increased and was lowest when mixed method was performed. Titratable acidities of Campbell Early juice was 0.86 ~ 1.00%, higher than that of Gerbong juice, 0.60 ~ 0.69%. Also the strength of astringent taste and sour taste of Campbell Early and Gerbong juice increased as heating temperature increased, and increased strength of these tastes gave good sensory evaluation to grape juices.

      • 흰쥐 腦의 中心扁桃核에서의 Substance P 및 Enkephalin 함유구조의 형태학적 특징

        흰쥐 뇌의 중심편도핵에서의 substance P (SP) 및 Enkephalin (ENK) 함유신경세포 및 축삭종말의 분포를 관찰하기 위하여 peroxidase antiperoxidase법을 행하여 다음의 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. SP함유신경세포는 중심편도핵의 medial zone에 분포하였고 SP함유축삭종말은 lateral capsular zone에서 고밀도로 관찰되었다. SP함유신경세포는 원형 내지는 타원형이었고 2∼3개의 근위수상돌기(proximal dendrite)를 가졌다. ENK함유신경세포 및 축삭종말은 공히 central 및 lateral capsular zone에 존재하였다. ENK함유 신경세포는 직경이 약 17-24㎛ 정도였고 3∼4개의 근위수상돌기를 관찰할 수 있었다. The central amygdaloid nucleus is rich in a number of neuropoptides. The present study examines the distribution and morphological characteristics of substance P (SP) and leucine-enkephalin (ENK) containing neurons in this nucleus. The results obtained were as follows: SP immunoreactive cells were observed within the medial zone and SP immunoreactive axon terminals were heaviest within the lateral capsular zone. The immunoreactive cells were round or oval shape (diameter, 15-20㎛) and had two or three proximal dendrites. ENK immunoreactive cells and axon terminals located within central and capsular zones. The immunoreactive cells were round or oval shape (diameter, 17-24㎛) and had three or four proximal dendrites.

      • 양성 갑상선 결절에서의 무수 알코올 치료 효과

        목적 : 양성 갑상선 결절 환자에서의 PEI의 치료효과 및 부작용을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법 : 양성 갑상선 결절 환자 88명을 대상으로 초음파 소견에 따라 낭종성 결절, 복합성 결절, 고형성 결절 등 세 그룹으로 분류후 전체 및 각각에 대한 PEI의 치료효과 및 부작용을 조사하였다. 결과 : 양성 갑상선 결절 환자 88명을 PEI로 치료후 결절의 크기가 50%이상 감소한 경우는 전체 환자중 77.2%이었고 각 결절별로 살펴보면 고형성 결절에서 52.6%, 복합성 결절에서 72.4%, 낭종성 결절은 92.5%이었다. 부작용은 동통, 결절내 출혈, 감염, 결절의 누출등이 있었으나 대부분 무증상이었다. 결론 : PEI는 양성 갑상선 결절 환자증 적응증을 잘 살펴 고려해 볼 수 있는 치료법이라 생각되며 특히 낭종성 결절 환자에서 주사기에 의한 흡인후에 재발한 경우 일차적인 치료로 PEI를 고려해 볼 수 있겠다. Ultrasonography(US)-guided percutaneous ethanol injection (PEI) has been performed for the treatment of autonomous functioning thyroid nodules, thyroid cysts, & cold thyroid nodules. The author studied the efficacy of PEI in the treatment of benign cold thyroid nodules both solid and cystic (complex & pure). Eighty-eight euthyroid outpatients (age:44.2±13.9years, 75 women and 13 men) with benign cold thyroid nodules or simple thyroid cysts (69 with a single nodule and 19 with a prominent nodule within multinodular goiter) were includied in this study. After PEI, each subtype of thyroid nodules was divided into three groups in according to volume reduction complete response (90% or more of volume reduction), partial response (50% or more of reducton but below 90%), and failure (below 50% or increase in size) group. Overall response rates of PEI for benign thyroid nodules were complete 45(51.1%), partial 23(26.1%), failure 20(22.7%). In 20 cold solid nodules, complete response was observed in 6(30.0%), partial response in 5(25.0%), and failure in 9(45.0%). In 28 complex cysts, complete response was observed in 8(28.6%), partial response in 12 (42.9%), and failure in 8(28.6%). In 40 pure cysts, complete response was observed in 31(77.5%), partial response in 6 (15.0%), and failure in 3 (7.5%). Side effects comprised pain 8 (9.2%), intranodular bleeding 13 (14.6%), extracapsular leakage 1(1.1%), infection 1 (1.1%), increased size l(1.1%), and none 64(72.7%). PEI may prove a safe & effective tool for the therapy of cold thyroid nodules in selected cases and may be the treatment of choice of recurrent thyroid cysts. However, further investigation involving a larger number of patients and a longer follow-up is needed.

      • MgO-Al₂O₃-SiO₂계 요업원료(Mullite,Spinel,Cordierite)의 제조 및 소결특성 : Ⅲ. 알콕사이드 졸-겔법에 의한 코디어라이트 미분말의 합성 Ⅲ.Preparation of Cordierite Fine Powder by an Alkoxide Sol-Gel Process

        The gel powder of cordierite composition was prepared from Mg(NO₃)₂6H₂O, Al[ OCHCH₂(CH₃)₂] ₃ and Si(OC ₂??)₄ as sources of Mg, Al and Si-components, using isopropyl alcohol al a solvent and NH₄OH as a catalyst. Due to the difference of hydrolysis rates between Si(OC₂??)₄ and Al[ OCHCH₂(CH₃)₂]₃, the small amount of spinel was formed besides the main phase, cordierite, after clacining. At 900 ℃, μ-cordierite, the low temperature metastable form, was appeared but transformed to α-phase, the high stable form, when calcined at 1100 ℃ for 2h. The specific surface area and mean particle size of powder calcined at 600 ℃ for 2h were 62m²/g and 0.552μm, respectively. However, when acetylacetone was added to Al [OCHCH₂(CH₃)₂]₃ as a stabilizer, the transformation temperature was lowered about 80 ℃. The powder calcined at 600℃ was more porous than the former, resulting the specific surface area and mean particle size of the power to be 236 m²/g and 0.724μ m, respectively.

      • 광양만의 저질 중금속 농도 분포 특성

        The main goals of the study were to investigate the sediment quality and trace metal distribution in sediment of Kwangyang Bay, south coastal of Korea. Surface sediment sampling were performed in November, 2000 and February and March, 2001. The concentration of H₂S, IL and COD in sediment were measured by a manual of the Department of Marine Environment of Korea. The extracted trace metals Fe, Cu, Cd, Pb, and Zn in sediments mean analyzed by the flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer with an instrument of model Shimadzu AA-6701F. H₂S, IL and COD in the surface sediment were 1.3 mg/g, 5.9 % and 15.0 mg/g, respectively. The mean content of Fe, Cu, Cd, Pb and Zn were 1523 mg/kg, 4.799 mg/kg, 1.321 mg/kg 9.285 mg/kg and 9.353 mg/kg, respectively. All of these measured trace metals level were over the other reported trace metal level in sediment of coastal area. According to histograms, the content of H₂S, IL and COD and trace metals in sediment of this study were affected by artificial activities rather than natural process.
