        우리나라 지역 직업성질환 감시체계의 현황과 전망

        기존의 특수건강진단과 작업환경측정을 통한 직업병 관리가 진폐증, 소음성난청 등의 소수 특정질환에 국한되고 실제 직업병 발생 규모 파악이나 신종 직업병의 발견에 한계를 보인다는 사실은 산업의학전문가들 사이에서도 공감을 이루고 있다. 미국과 영국 등에서의 직업성질환 감시체계에 대한 경험은 우리 나라의 직업성질환 감시체계 구축에도 새로운 자극제가 되면서, 1998년이후 인천, 대전, 여천, 구미, 부울경 지역에서 지역 직업성질환감시체계를 산업보건관리의 중요한 시스템으로 구축하려는 노력이 확산되고 있다. 새로이 구축되어지는 이들 지역 직업성질환 감시체계는 감시하고자 하는 대상질환, 활용 가능한 인적자원 및 자료원, 지역 의료체계의 특수성 등에 따라서 목적과 방법을 달리하면서 독특한 형태로 발전을 하고 있다. 각 지역단위 감시체계들이 그 상황에 맞게 독특한 목적과 전략들을 발전 시키면서도, 향후 발전할 국가적인 차원의 직업성질환 감시체계 구축을 위하여 직업성질환 감시의 기본 전략 등을 공유하는 등의 노력이 필요하다. 환례 정의 및 기본적인 등록 서식의 공유, 직업성질환 감시 자료원의 발굴, 공동의 정보 네트워크 및 직업성질환 감시 데이터베이스 구축 등 직업성질환 감시활동을 지원하기 위한 여러 기초 인프라 구축에 힘을 모아야 할 것이다. 우리 나라에서 직업성질환 감시체계를 성공적으로 구축하기 위해서는 수집된 자료의 질 관리를 위한 직업성질환 감시의 원칙 제정과 감시 전략의 공유 등이 필요하며, 전국적인 직업성질환 감시체계의 하부구조라고 할 수 있는 지역감시체계의 기초 토대 마련과 강화작업이 절실하게 필요하다.

      • 가역극성 6-Pulse Thyristor Converter

        The purpose of this study is the development of a reversible polarity thyristor controlled converter using TRIAC and its firing unit. The proposed converter is same in the function, a half in the number of main elements and its auxiliary devices and double in the utility factor of main element as compared with the dual converter using SCR. Application of the proposed converter to the reversible drive system with speed and current feed back for a separately excited D.C. motor is presented and experimental results are given.

        Korea enters a new era of industrial modernization, spurred by her successive five-year economic development plans. The labor-intensive light industry that led the nation's economy in the past decades is undergoing a gradual shift to the technology-intensive heavy and chemical industry. The demand for industry-minded young technician is thereby ever mounting in number in various industrial sectors, which in turn creates many challenging issues on Civil Engineering Education. Among them, this paper deals exclusively with the curriculum of the Department of Civil Engineering Education. As the results of a trade analysis for graduates from technical high schools, it was realized that current curriculum were somewhat isolated from outside environment and found too rigid to meet the changing requirements. Needless to mention, teachers play a vital roles in the technician education. Accordingly the teacher must be qualified well not only in knowledge on the major subjects but also in practices. The improvement of current curriculum is strongly recommended to produce qualified teachers, taking into account the changing social demands. This study is very limited in terms of finance, time allowance and manpower. Accordingly the model curriculum was based on the trade analysis, social requirements and the current curriculum, and its justification was not verified by tests and broad reviews.

      • 복 공진형 고주파 인버터의 특성해석 및 설계

        This paper proposes a double resonant high frequency inverter which reduces the distribution of the switching current. The analysis of the proposed circuit is generally described by using the normalized parameters. Also, the principle of the basic operation and the characteristics of driving were estimated by the switching frequency and the load parameters. And the data for the design were got by the characteristic values obtained from the characteristic estimation. At the same time the example of the design method was proposed. In addition, Comparing the theoretical waveforms to the experimental waveforms certified the operating characteristics of the proposed Inverter. It is certain that the proposed circuit will be used and expanded in the high frequency power supplies like induction heating systems.

      • 충전용 글라스 아이오노머 시멘트의 시간경과에 따른 불소용출

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the pattern and quantity of fluoride release from four commercial glass ionomer filling cements and silicate cement. 10 specimens was made from each group, and the fluoride ion concentration was estimated by fluoride electrode during each 2days over a 30 day period. The results were as follows : The glass ionomer cements released considerable more fluoride during each of the first 12 days than during each of the subsequent 18 days. The continued release did not decrease very much with time. The fluoride release of Ketac-Fil cement was higher than that from silicate, but the fluoride release of other experimental groups was similar to or lower than that of silicate cement.       • Mycophenolic Acid와 Rapamycin이 흰쥐 사구체 혈관간세포증식과 세포외기질 생성에 미치는 영향

        Background: Excess proliferation and extracellular matrix (ECM) accumulation of mesenchymal cells such as vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) and glomerular mesangial cells cause chronic allograft nephropathy showing transplant vascular sclerosis and glomerulosclerosis. Mycophenolic acid (MPA) and rapamycin (RPM) are well known as strong inhibitors of VSMC proliferation, but their effects on the glomerular mesangial cells are not yet clearly understood. This study examined the effects of MPA or RPM on PDGF-induced proliferation and ECM accumulation in rat glomerular mesangial cells. Methods: Mesangial cells isolated from the glomeruli of Sprague-Dawley rats were cultured with DMEM containing 20% fetal bovine serum. Growth arrested and synchronized cells were administered with test drugs (MPA10 nM-10μM, RPM 0.1 nM-1μM) before the addition of PDGF 10 ng/mL. Cell proliferation was assessed by [³H]thymidine incorporation, collagen by [³H]proline incorporation, and fibronectin, ERK, and p38 MAPK by Western blot analysis. Results: PDGF increased mesangial cell proliferation by 4.64-fold. Compared to stimulated control, MPA above 500 nM and RPM above 10nM showed a significant inhibitory effect in a dose-dependent manner. The IC_(50) of MPA and RPM against PDGF-induced mesangial cell proliferation were around 500 nM and 100 nM, respectively. The collagen synthesis was also inhibited by MPA and RPM, but the fibronectin secretion was inhibited by MPA alone. The proliferation of mesangial cell correlated with activation of ERK and. p38 MAPK. MPA, but not RPM, inhibited ERK and p38 MAPK activation. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that MPA and RPM significantly inhibited PDGF-induced proliferation and ECM production in rat glomerular mesangial cells. The inhibitory effects of MPA, but not RPM, are correlated with ERK and p38 MAPK.

      • 만성 C형 간염 환자에서 페그인터페론 알파2a와 리바비린 병합 치료중 발생한 벨마비 1예

        페그인터페론과 리바비린 병합요법은 만성 C형 간염의 일차 치료법이다. 저자들은 만성 C형 간염 환자에서 페그인터페론 과 리바비린 병합 요법 중에 발생한 벨마비 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. 환자는 5년 전부터 만성 C형 간염을 앓아온 48세 남자이며, PEG-IFN α-2a 135μgm 피하주사 주1회와 하루 1200㎎의 리바비린을 투여하였다. 치료시작 후 9개월째 환자는 오른쪽 안면의 근력약화를 호소하였으며 벨마비로 진단되었다. 페그인터페론과 리바비린 병합요법을 지속하면서 관찰하였다. 환자의 벨마비는 페그인터페론 치료를 중단하지 않았음에도 3개월후 증상이 회복되고 이후 벨마비 재발 없이 현재 경과관찰 중이다. 만성 C형 간염에서 페그인터페론과 리바비린 병합 요법시 벨마비의 발생 가능성을 염두에 두어야 하겠다. A Case of Bell's Palsy Associated with Combination Therapy of Pegylated Interferon Alfa-2a (PEG-IFN) and Ribavirin for Chronic Hepatitis C Virus Infection Pegylated interferon alfa(PEG-IFN α) and ribavirin therapy is the first line treatment for chronic hepatitis C. Mild complications of the therapy are common, but more serious complications are rare. We report here a case of Bell's palsy that occurred in a patient with chronic hepatitis C virus infection during combination therapy of PEG-IFN α-2a and ribavirin. The patient was 49-year-old man with chronic hepatitis C (genotype 1b) for 8 years. He had compensated liver cirrhosis with splenomegaly. Therapy with PEG-IFN α- 2a 135mcg/week and ribavirin 1200mg/day was initiated. After 9 months of the therapy, the patient showed a loss of muscular tone on the right side of his face. A diagnosis of Bell's palsy was made. The Bell's palsy resolved over 3 months despite continuation of the combination therapy.

      • 고지 재사용이 제지공장 폐수에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 판지공장을 중심으로

        제지의 원료로서 고지들이 virgin pulp에 비해 얼마나 많은 오염부하를 폐수에 미치며, 화학적, 생물학적 처리효율은 어떤가를 파악하기 위하여 오염도를 각 원료 1 ton당 BOD, COD, SS의 kg양으로 나타내었다. 이는 초지조건, 즉 용수사용량, 고지혼입률 등의 차이에도 오염부하량을 산정할 수 있도록 하는 한편, 최적처리조건을 도출하는데도 이용할 수 있다. 실험은 KS규격에 의해서 각 시료들의 수초지를 제조하여 그 초지백수를 원폐수로 하고 jar tester상에서 alum을 가하여 응집침전시킨 후 상층액을 화학적 응집침전처리수로 하였으며, 역시 원폐수를 일정시간 폭기시켜 방치한 후 상층액을 생화학적 활성오니처리수로 하였다. 본 실험에 의한 각 고지의 제지폐수의 특성은 virgin pulp에 비해 매우 높게 나타났는데 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째로 원폐수에서는 TCOD(kg-COD/ton-p)가 AOMG (41.1)>KONP(29.2)>AONP (24.6)>AOCC(24.2)>LUKP(5.9)>NBKP(2.8)순이며, TBOD(kg-BOD/ton-p)는 AOMG (22.5)>AOCC(20.1)>KONP(18.3)>AONP(16.1)>LUKP(5.1)>NBKP(2.5)순이며, SS(kg-SS/ton-p)는 AOMG(151.4)<KONP(50.0)>AONP(39.4)>AOCC(37.3)>LUKP (19.0)>NBKP(18.2)순이었다. 둘째로 화학적 응집침전처리에서 TCOD는 alum농도 100,400mg/l에서 peak cut가 일어났다. 셋째로 생물학적 활성오니처리에서는 폭기 4시간만에 AOMG를 제외하고 70%이상의 TBOD감소율을 보였다. 마지막으로 화분의 거동은 고지와 virgin pulp 사이에 뚜렷한 패턴의 구별을 보이지 않았다. When old papers are reused as the raw meterial for paper manufacturing, water and raw material come into contact directly in the process of paper manufacturing and fine fiber and all kinds of pollution elements of old papers get discharged with the waste water, thus increasing the load of pollution of paper manufacturing factory. This research is designed to measure the degree of pollution characteristics of old papers compared to virgin pulps. In order to obtain the outcome of optimum treatment condition, the unit of BOD, COD, SS is expressed in kg per ton of each raw material. The characteristics of waste water of each old paper obtained through this experiment are higher than those of waste water of virgin pulp and the following is the results. 1. In case of original influent (1) TCOD(kg-COD/ton-p) AOMG 41.1>KONP 29.2>AONP 24.6>AOCC 24.2>LUKP 5.9>NBKP 2.8 (2) TBOD(kg-BOD/ton-p) AOMG 22.5>AOCC 20.1>KONP 18.3>AONP 16.1>LUKP 5.1>NBKP 2.5 (3) SS(kg-SS/ton-p) AOMG 151.4>KONP 50.0>AONP 39.4>AOCC 37.3>LUKP 19.0>NBKP 18.2 2. In case of chemically treated effluent (1) As for TCOD, when concentration of alum is 100,400mg/l, the peak cut has occured (2) As for SS, when concentration of alum 100mg/l, the peak cut has occured. (3) Even up to 800mg/l concentration of alum, residual TCOD(kg-COD/ton-p) of effluents has shown AOMG 8.8>AOCC 4.6>AONP 3.9>KONP 3.8>LUKP=LBKP 1.2 3. In case of biochemically treated effluent (1) After 4 hours of aeration, except the effluent of AOMG, all kinds of effluents have shown over 70% decrease of TBOD. (2) Even up to 8 hours aeration, residual TBOD(kg-BOD/ton-p) has shown AOMG 4.8>KONP 2.9>AONP 2.7>AOCC 1.7>LUKP 1.0 4. There was no special pattern of the behavior of ash among the old papers and virgin pulps.
