      • SUS 304 마이크로 와이어 직선화 처리에 관한 연구

        In the study, we have developed a straightening system for the SUS 304 micro wires that are normally used in the medical and semi-conductor fields. To apply heat to the micro wires, we introduced the direct wire heating method which generates the thermal energy by the electrical resistance of the wire itself. To avoid the deterioration of the wire surface by the environment, such as the oxidation or the hydration, the N_(2) gas was filled in the glass pipe in which the straightening process was being performed. A precision tension meter was also attached to control the tension of the wire during the heating and straightening process. In order to control the straightening process, several experimental investigations with varying the tension, the feeding velocity and the temperature (current) was carried out. As a result of experiments, we obtained the optimal processing conditions satisfying the straightness requirement of the micro wires.

        The Plasma Hot Machining(PHM) has been well known to improve the machinability of high hardness material. However, one of the main disadvantage of Plasma Hot Machining is the contamination of machined sufaces by melting spatter of the work piece. In this paper we investigate the effect of plasma heating point on machining suface contamination.

      • 염분이 함유된 폐수의 생물학적 처리시 염분농도가 오염물질의 제거에 미치는 영향

        Effects of salt concentration and C/N ratio on pollutants removal efficiencies were investigated in treatment of seafood wastewater by sequence batch reactor(SBR). The synthetic seafood wastewater containing salinity from 3,000 to 10,000 mg/L NaCI and C/N ratio of 2 and 4 was treated by SBR. Removal efficiencies of COD_(Mn), T-N, and T-P decreased with increasing salt concentration, but eventually reached a pollutants removal a platrau. As systems adapted in salts until salts concentration of 8,000mg/L, the time required to reach the pollutants removal efficiencies at steady state was reduced. However, the removal efficiencies of pollutants sharply decreased and the time require to reach steady state was increased as salt concentration rose to 10,000mg/L, Removal efficiencies of COD_(Mn) were higher for C/N ratio of 4 than for 2. Effects of salt on the nitrogen removal were not faster than the organic removal but the time required to the nitrogen removal at steady state was ncreased. The removal efficiencies of phosphorus also were redueed as salt concentration increased, which inhibited the release of phosphorus than the uptake.

      • 웹 기반의 VRML 저작도구 설계 및 구현

        웹 기술과 컴퓨터 하드웨어 기술이 빠르게 발전함에 따라 편리하고 현실적인 인터페이 스는 전송시간과 실행시간 보다 중요�. VRML은 웹에서 가상 현실을 구현하는 적합한 언어지만 일반 사용자에게 사용하기에 너무 어렵다. 또한, VRML이 변경될 때 마다 다시 구성해야하는 복잡성이 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문을 웹 기반의 VRML 저작도구를 구현한다. 또한 기존의 VRML과 데이터베이스 시스템을 분석하여 확장된 VRML 지원 시스템을 구현하여 이를 평가한다. As the web technology and the computer hardware have been rapidoy evolving, the convenient interface and reality is more important than the transmission time and the execution time. For satisfying these requirements, VRML is the most suitable language to implement virtual reality on the Web. However, it is too difficult for non-expert to use VRML. It is also complicated to reconstruct VRML whenever it changes. In order to resolve these problems, this paper implements VRML Authoring Tool based on web. Also, this paper analyze the problem of the existing the cooperating VRML and Database system, implement the extended VRML supporting system. and evaluate it with the existing system.

      • 1996-1997년 겨울철에 유행한 인플루엔자의 임상역학적 분석 및 원인 바이러스의 분리

        목적: 인플루엔자는 매년 겨울 전 세계적인 유행을 일으키는 급성 호흡기 질환으로 높은 이환률과 사망율을 보인다. 국내에서도 1996-1997년 겨울철에 다수의 보고가 있었으나 아직 체계적인 감시가 이루어지고 있지 못하다. 저자들은 이 기간 동안 인플루엔자 바이러스 감염의 역학적 특성과 임상상을 연구하여 인플루엔자 감시의 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 방법: 1996년 10월부터 1997년 4월까지 삼성서울병원 임상병리과에 인플루엔자 바이러스 배양 검사가 의뢰된 모든 검체를 대상으로 인플루엔자 바이러스의 분리율과 유행 양상, 그리고 환자들의 임상상을 후향적으로 조사, 분석하였다. 결과: 총 461명의 환자로부터 525례의 검체가 의뢰되어 총 98명의 환자로부터 인플루엔자 바이러스가 분리되었다. 인플루엔자 A형은 54명의 소아 환자와 4명의 소아 환자로부터 분리되었다. 아형과 항원 특성 검사를 시행한 31례의 인플루엔자 A형 중 한 예에서 A/Wuhan/359/95 유사주로 확인되었고 12례의 인플루엔자 B형 중 5례에서 B/Guangdong/8/97 유사주로 확인되었다. 인플루엔자의 유행 양상은 3월과 4월 중순, 두 번의 인플루엔자 최고 분리 시점이 관찰되었고, 가장 많은 불리 빈도를 보인 연령층은 인플루엔자 A형의 경우 1세 미만이었고 인플루엔자 B형의 경우 3-5세였으며 폐렴이 가장 흔한 호흡기 질환이었다. 결론: 저자들은 3차 의료기관에서 분리된 인플루엔자 바이러스에 대한 역학적, 임상적 특성을 연구하였다. 지역사회에 대한 광범위한 연구가 아니므로 국내의 전반적 상황과는 차이가 있을 것으로 생각되지만 우리나라에서도 인플루엔자 바이러스의 이환률이 낮지 않을 것으로 생각되며, 보다 조직적이고 전국적인 인플루엔자 감시가 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다. Background: Although influenza has been a leading cause of global morbidity and mortality, we have few data regarding the epidemioloical and clinical characteristics of influenza activity in korea. Since an outbreak of influenza was recognized during winter of 1996-1997, we analysed the epidemiological and clinical features of influenza activity in the hospital seeting. Methods: All clinical specimens requested for isolation of influenza virus at Samsung Medical Center from October 1996 to April 1997 were included. Mardin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK) cell line was used for virus culture. Isolated viruses were confirmed with immunostain followed by subtyping. The demograpic and clinical characteristics of the patients were reviewed retrospectively. Results: Ninety eight influenza viruses were isolatd from 461 patients (21.3%). Influenza A and B virus were isolated from 58 (54 children and 4 adults) and 40 pediatric patients, respectively. One of 31 influenza A viruses was confirmed as A/Wuhan/359/95-like strain and 5 of 12 influenza B viruses were confiremd as B/Guangdong/8/97-like strains. Two distinctive peaks of influenza activity were recognized and the most common age of patients was less than 1 year for influenza A, and 3 to 5 years for influenza B. Common lower respiratory infections were pneumonia followed by croup, bronchiolitis and laryngitis. Conclusion: We analyzed the epidemiological and clinical features of influenza activity during winter of 1996-1997. Although this study was performed not in the community but in the hospital setting, the morbidity caused by influenza may not be low in Korea. Therefore, nationwide surveillance for influenza activity is warranted.

      • Inconel 718의 고온선삭가공에서 세라믹 공구의 노치 마모 특성에 관한 연구

        Plasma hot machining for Inconell 718 has performed to improve the depth of cut notch wear of ceramic tools(SiC whisker reinforced alumina). In this study, wear characteristic of ceramic tools under plasma hot machining were examined, and compared with conventional machining of Inconel 718. The depth of cut notch wear of ceramic tool was significantly reduced under plasma hot machining test.

      • 玄蔘의 Saponin 成分 檢索 : on the Saponin of the Radix

        Crude saponin(100g) were obtained by extracting the radix(5kg) of Scrophalariae koraiensis Nakai. Crude saponin were positive in the Liebermann-Burchard test. We observed 5 sports by TLC using BuOH saturated with H_2O : ethyl acetate : water(4:1:5, upper phase) as solvent and 1% Ce(SO_4)_2 in 10% H_2SO_4 as a color former. We divided into 3 fractions by common column chromatography using BuOH saturated with H_2O : ethylacetate : water(4:1:5, upper phase) as solvent.

        Ⅰ.The aim of study The present study aims to investigate relationships between career interest and multiple intelligences of Korean Elementary School children. This study is heavily based on Holland's theoretical framework of career interest and Gardner's multiple intelligences theory. Ⅱ.The method of study 1.Subject 72 students of 4th grade(m:40, f:32), 74 students of 5th grade(m:38, f:36), and 75 students of 6th grade(m:41, f:34) were selected for this study. The selection was made through purposive sampling. 2.Instrument Instruments used were Career Interest Inventory and Multiple Intelligences Scale. A. Career Inventory : Holland's Self-Directed Search was translated by researcher. B. Multiple Intelligences Scale : Shearer's Multiple Intelligences Development Assessment Scale(MIDAS) was translated by researcher. Ⅲ.The Results of Study Major findings of this study are as follows. 1.There are significant or non-significant differences at P<.05 level between Career Interest dimension and Multiple Intelligences level. 2.There are statistically significant differences in Multiple Intelligences between male and female students. But there are no statistically significant differences in Multiple Intelligences between 4th and 6th grade. 3.Career Interest level showed higher interest in males than females.
