      • Effect of Ionizing Radiation on Rat Tissue: Proteomic and Biochemical Analysis

        <P>Reactive oxygen species (ROS), generated by ionizing radiation, has been implicated in its effect on living tissues. We confirmed the changes in the oxidative stress markers upon irradiation. We characterized the changes in the proteome profile in rat liver after administering irradiation, and the affected proteins were identified by MALDI-TOF-MS and ESI-MS/MS. The identified proteins represent diverse sets of proteins participating in the cellular metabolism. Our results demonstrated that proteomics analysis is a useful method for characterization of a global proteome change caused by ionizing radiation to unravel the molecular mechanisms involved in the cellular responses to ionizing radiation.</P>

        The in-process recognition of the cutting state is one of the very important technologies to enhance the reliability of the modern machining process. In this study, the dynamic component of the cutting force, which is closely related to chip breaking (cut-off frequency 80~500 Hz), has been measured to recognize the state of the machined surface in turning process. From the measured results on various cutting conditions, the relationship between the surface roughness and the dynamic component of the cutting force has been investigated, and as a result it can be anticipated that the monitoring of the maximum amplitude in the dynamic component of the cutting force enables the inferiority state of the machined surface to be recognized.

      • 학교시설 건립에 있어 CM적용 필요성에 관한 연구

        This study aims to find out demand areas of CM by examining the progresses of various service areas for the conceptual framework of CM suitable to construction environment of school facilities and recognition and needs of construction business management and present the basic information to construction business managers. Consequently, such problems as practical application of cost for design and construction and demand and supply of materials were pointed out in the side of construction executor based on sufficient budget and supports for the construction and design. As a result of questionnaire, it was found that design change factors according to progress included changes of field conditions and degree of opinion adjustment in the part of constructor and changes by customers' personal intentions in the part of designer. As a result of examining the degree of recognition and needs of construction business management, most of respondents showed affirmative responses on recogniton of construction business management, employment of constuction business manager and its application in building school facilities and in particular constructors showed a high affirmative opinions. Accordingly, it will be important that the need and importance of construction business management in building school facilities should be emphasized to customers, its expected effects should be published, professional technologies should be equipped for ensuring more demanders and service demands by each area should be explored.

      • 수중불분리콘크리트의 강도 특성에 대한 기초적 연구

        Recently, as we see the trend of using aggregate, is widespread, that is using crushed stone as a coarse aggregate, and using sea sand as a substitute for fine aggregate. In this study, we used mixed sand (river sand : sea sand = 1:1), we changed W/C, and the amount of antiwashout underwater admixture, and the superplasticizer. We produced and cured in the air and salt water, we investigated the compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength of the specimens. In our results, the basis of slump flow was satisfied, pH and suspension were under the standard amount. The most effective use of antiwashout underwater admixture in quantity was 1.0%, and the rate of tensile strength and flexural strength to the compressive strength increases as the W/C increases.

        In accordance with internationalization of enterprise management, a new research problem of accounting for foreign currencies has been brought about in the field of accounting to measure and communicate the economic phenomena concerning the enterprise activity. The accounting for foreign currencies is a process to designate the title of accounts denominated and measured in foreign currencies into domestic currencies using the exchange rate. In generally, accounting for the translation of foreign currency has two directions. First, it is problem to reflect foreign currencies stated asset and liability which is resulted from our domestic firm's translation in financial statement. Second, it is the problem to reflect foreign currencies stated financial statement of oversea branch in parent company's financial statement. To solve that kind of problem, I used litereture on research method and compared the foreign currency translation of Korea with that of U.S.A In U.S.A Current-Non current method was officially accepted in 1953 and Menetary-Non monetary method in 1965. Temporal method was accepted in 1975. and Funtional currency method was accepted in 1983. In Korea, Menetary-Non monetary method was accepted in 1974 and modified four times till 1988. Our accounting standards adopt Menetary-Non monetary method for domestic firm's translation and current rate method for foreign subsidiary company's translation. The purpose of this study is to suggest the directions to improve present accounting standards of Korea. The result of this study is as follows. First, our accounting standards should be considered the characteristics of oversea operation and should be applied to proper exchange rate. Second, our accounting standards should be accorded with International accounting standards which will be accepted with more common agreement, because our economy is globalized. Thrid, It is more proper to apply to sole translation method for the translation of over ser branch foreign currency financial statement. Four, It is more proper to adopt temporal method than monetary- non monetary method for the translation of oversea branch foreign currency statement. Five, our accounting standards should be provided proper information which can be used as expetive measure for economic exposure. For that, our accounting standards must enlarge the scope of disclosure.

        신라 중위제의 추이와 지배신분층의 변화

        Silla had the system of multiple official ranks; Nama, Great-Nama, and Achan, The system was designed to restrict the lower-class to a certain rank, and promoted them to upward-rank by its multiple ranks. This thesis explores the transition of the Multiple official Rank System of Silla in 6-7th centuries. One of its main proposals is that the transition of Nama's multiple ranks, from 7 ranks to 9 ranks, was the result of the complete provision of the Silla official Rank System to 17 ranks. Another is that the change of applied-rank of that system, from Great-Nama to Achan, was the result of the transition of the ruling class from 'Khan, the Captain of small region' to 'Jingol, the member of royalty ; its meaning is the real bone class'. First, Nama (later, Great-Nama) was the highest rank for the non-Khan class. Second, Achan was the highest rank for the non-Jingol class. The first restriction taking precedence over the second, 'Jingol' came to seize the ruling power. The rank to which the multiple official rank system was applied was always one. And it's transition is the evidence of the change of the ruling class of Silla. This procedure witnessed the appearance of royal families and 6th Head-Grade Class as a political system.

        최근 생산시스템에 지능을 부여하는 관련기술의 개발이 IMS's(Intelligent Manufacturing Systems)프로그램을 통하여 선진공업국에서 시도되고 있다. 그 가운데서 기계가공프로세스의 상태를 자동감시하기 위한 지적센싱시스템의 개발은 생산가공시스템의 자동화·무인화를 실현하는데 중요한 핵심기술의 하나로 되고 있다. 본 원고에서는 지적센싱시스템을 구축하는데 필요한 주변관련기술, 예를들면 복수센서, 신호처리 및 특징추출, 의사결정방법 등에 대한 연구동향과 구성방법을 여러 적용예를 통하여 살펴보고, 앞으로 연구과제에 대하여 논의해 보기로 한다.
