      • 루프형 히트파이프를 이용한 PC냉각시스템에 관한 연구

        According to the improvement of PC performance, it is expected that calorific value, which causes PC to malfunction, is increased. Therefore, the development of new cooling system is recently required. As the method to solve this problem, we developed loop type heat pipe. The heat pipe, which is a sealed box attached wicks, has a high performance on heat transfer, using a huge laten heat which is a generated during a phase change. Thermosyphon is a simple sealed tube in which a little working fluid is filled as the state of a static liquid pool. The advantage of heat pipe and thermosyphon is like that these are a small size, light weight, simple shape and long life. In addition, these have a good performance on a heat response and a coefficient of heat transfer, a wide rane of applicable temperature and no a supply of power from the outside. On the other hand, these have defects like that these have a large flow resistance and thermal resistance, and a heat transfer is restrained by the working limit. In this study, it is confirmed that loop type heat pipe reduces a flow resistance and thermal resistance and has a good performance on a cooling effect.

      • 운동과 활성 산소ㆍ황산화물의 관계에 관한 고찰

        The purpose of this study was to review for further understanding of the possible mechanisms of free radical formation during exercise and the relation of exercise and exercise induced oxidative stress and the antioxidant system. Acute or chronic strenuous exercise results in excessive production of reactive oxygen species(ROS). This ROS production may lead to lipid peroxidation and protein oxidation in the exercising muscle. Now, the results of study on the role of non-enzymatic defense system was not clear. Further study is necessary to get clear results of antioxidants. But, exercise induced oxidative stress may be reduced by antioxidant ingestion. Therefore, it is necessary to study on proper exercise for reduction of oxidative injury and for efficient practice of intensive exercise by antioxidant administration.

      • 동계훈련프로그램을 적용한 골프선수의 요관절, 견관절 근력 평가

        This study carries out the training of muscle strength, muscle power, muscle endurance three times a week and 2 set of isokinetic training with the winter training program for the muscle strength improvement of waist and shoulder's angle in the upper limbs of the central body of subjects who are sampled ten university golf players. The training burden of subjects is consist of 30°/sec, 60°/sec that is the typical burden of measuring of waist, shoulder's concentric extensor and concentric flexors muscle strength and 60°/sec, 180°/sec that the is the typical burden of measuring of muscle power and 120°/sec, 240°/sec that is the typical burden of measuring of muscle endurance, and 2 set of these training burden are implemented three times per week three times, three times, thirty times each. Using SPSS static program version 10.0, Descriptive analysis is proposed about each measuring change factors and for comparing with before and after applying the winter training program, Paired t-test is used. The following is the conclusion of this study. First, there are significant differences in 30°/sec(p<.05), 60°/sec(p<.05), 120°/sec(p<.01) all of waist and concentric flexors peak torque as a result of applying the winter training program. Second, there are significant differences in 30°/sec(p<.05) and 120°/sec(p<.05) of waist's concentric extensors peak torque, but there is no significant differences in 60°/sec as a result of applying the winter training program. Third, there are significant differences in 60°/sec(p<.05), 180°/sec(p<.01) of shoulder's concentric flexors peak torque, but there is no significant differences in 240°/sec as a result of applying the winter training program.

        편평세포암종과 병발한 치성점액종

        Squamous cell carcinoma is the most common type of oral cancer and odontogenic myxoma is relatively uncommon benign tumor of mesenchymal origin. There are, to our knowledge, no prior reports of simultaneously occurring squamous cell carcinoma and odontogenic myxoma of the jaw bones. In this case, at first, the plain films and computed tomograms revealed a large expansile multilocular radiolucent lesion on left mandible and marked expansion of cortical plate. In addition this radiograms revealed also infiltrative bony destruction of anterior and medial border of ascending ramus of left mandible and alveolar bone of left maxilla, floating teeth on left lower molar area and metastatic enlargement of left submandibular, jugular digastric and spinal accessory lymphnodes. Magnetic resonance imaging of this patient revealed infiltrative growth of tumor on alveolar bone of left maxilla, left retromolar fat pad, left masseter and left medial pterygoid muscle. Intraoral presurgical biopsy presented typical features of squamous cell carcinoma. After chemotherapy with radiation therapy during 6 months, this central lesion was diagnosed as odontogenic myxoma by the postsurgical biopsy. After 3 months, this patient presented multiple metastatic signs at lumbar spines, rib and liver. Consequently, our case is simultaneous occurrence of squamous cell carcinoma and odontogenic myxoma.(J Korean Oral Maxillofac Radiol 1999:29:339-353)

        조숙터널 고추 직파재배시 적정 파종기

        조숙터널재배에서 고추 직파시 적정 파종기를 찾고자 3월 17일부터 10일 간격으로 4월 18일까지 직파하여 입모율, 생육, 착과율, 낙과율, 수량 등을 관행육묘재배와 비교하여 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 고추 직파시에 입모율은 일찍 파종할수록 높았으나 전체적으로 낮은 경향이었으며 파종기가 늦어질수록 발아소요일수가 짧았는데 파종후 강우나 지온 등 기상조건의 영향이 컸다. 2. 고추 생육은 파종기가 빠를수록 양호하였으며 7월하순이후 생육후기로 갈수록 직파시기간에 큰 차이가 없었다. 관행육묘구와 비교해보면 직파재배구가 생육초기에는 생육이 낮았으나 생육후기에는 비슷해졌다. 3. 과실 특성 중 과장은 3월 17, 27일 파종구가 길었으나 육묘구보다는 낮았다. 총수확과수는 3월 27일구와 4월 8일구에서 많았고 고추 수량 또한 같은 경향이었으며 관행 육묘구의 61∼84% 수준이었다. 4. 직파시기는 그 해의 기상조건을 고려하여 입묘율이 높고 수량이 많은 3월 하순부터 4월 상순까지 파종하는 것이 적당하다. This experiment was carried out to investigate the direct sowing period in the early maturing culture under row cover of red pepper. 'Taeyang' cultivar was planted by direct sowing at the March 17, 27 and April 8, 18. Those were compared with 70days raising of seedling. Planting density was 150×30㎝ (Double rows). Fertilization application on the red pepper was standard fertilization which RDA commended. Seedling stand ratios on the early direct sowing plots were higher than the others, but those of the others plots were lower. Red pepper growth in the early growing stage was better in the early direct sowing plots than those of late direct sowing in the different direct sowing dates. In the late growing stages, the red pepper growth of direct sowing plots compared with raising of seedling plot were similiar. Total marketable fruits and yields of red pepper were higher at the March 27 and April 8 plots. Yield of direct sowing plots compared with raising of seedling were lower by 61∼84%.

      • 칩입차단시스템의 안전성 강화

        침입차단시스템은 전산망 환경에서 통신상의 대부분의 위협 요인들을 제거할 수 있다고 알려져 있지만 내적으로는 아직 해결되지 못한 문제들도 있다. 본 논문에서는 침입차단시스템의 한계성을 분석하고 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위하여 정보보호 기능을 활용한 안전성 강화 방법을 제시하고자 한다. A firewall is known as something which eliminates most of the risk factors in computer network but there are some problems to solve internaly. In this paper, we will analyze the limits of a firewall and propose enforcing methods of the security to assist such defects by enforcing the function of computer network security.

      • 미분말 고로슬래그를 이용한 고강도 콘크리트의 개발

        본 연구는 철강석의 정제후 부수적으로 발생하는 고로슬래그 미분말을 건설분야에 이용하여 고강도콘크리트를 제조하고 이에 대한 여러 가지의 역학적 특성을 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 실험의 주요인자로서 물/시멘트비, 굵은골재의 최대치수 및 시멘트의 종류로서 슬래그시멘트와 보통시멘트를 비교하였으며 제조된 콘크리트의 경화전 특성 실험으로는 슬럼프, 공기량, 응결시간을 측정하고 경화후 압축강도, 할렬인장강도, 휨강도 및 동결-융해 저항특성 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 슬래그시멘트와 19mm골재를 사용하고 물/시멘트비가 낮은 경우 높은 강도 발현은 물론 500cycle 이후에서도 상대동탄성계수가 90%이상을 나타내어 동결-융해에 대한 저항성이 매우 우수함을 나타내었다. 또한 슬럼프 경시변화에서도 보통시멘트를 사용한 콘크리트에 비해 슬럼프 손실률이 상당히 적어 유동성을 확보한 고강도 콘크리트의 생산이 가능함으로써 건설분야에 활용될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to make high strength concrete using blast furnace slag and is to know the mechanical properties about it. Major variables of experiment are the water/cement ratio, coarse aggregate maximum size, portland and slag as cement type. After measuring of slump, air content and setting time about fresh concrete, compressive, tensile and flexible strength test and freezing-thawing resistance test also were carried out about hardend concrete. The results of test showed a good resistance to become higher than 90% of a relative modulus of elasticity after 506cycles and more strength in case of lower water/cement ratio and coarse aggregate of 19mm with slag cement. Also, concrete using blast furnace slag will make practical application of construction field to be high strength concrete, a small slump loss.

        영양유전체학(Nutrigenomics)의 최근 경향

        With the decoding of human genome in 2004 and the recent development in nutritional science, there has been an integration of molecular biology and nutrition. As a consequence a new word “molecular nutrition” has been formed and recently the word ‘nutrigenomics’ is coined and widely being used. The field of science that showed the most positive result from grafting the science of nutrition and nutrigenomics is obesity. In 1994, Jeffrey Friedman from Rockeffeler University announced that ob gene and obesity has a close relationship and since then there’s been a huge research done on genes related to obesity from the molecular nutrition’s point of view. Even now there are many genes presented which are supposed to be related to obesity and big efforts are put into finding what exactly those genes do. Moreover studying only in the context of genes was not enough so functional genomics, which is the study of the functions of cells and the functions and effects between genes and protein products, is being studied. This review article discusses the relationship between nutrition and genes and the general idea of nutrigenomics. The article also discusses about the current research status on these subjects.
