        중국백년전통 브랜드디자인에 표현된 전통길상문양에 대한 소비자반응 분석

        중국의 백년전통브랜드는 대부분이 명·청나라 시대부터 대대로 전승되어온것으로, 중국 전통문화를 바탕으로 한 행운을 나타내는 길상문양을 활용하여 문자와 이미지를 결합한 간판을 사용함으로써 브랜드 인지도와 기억도를 제고시켜왔다. 본 연구에서는 중국 전통길상문양에 내포된 고유의 의미를 문헌을 통해 고찰한 후, 길상문양이 백년전통브랜드에서는 주로 "형""의" "신"의 개념으로 변형되어 사용되고 있기 때문에 “형‘의 개념에서 유추가 가능한 전통길상문양만을 대상으로 소비자들의 인식을 중점적으로 조사하였다. 중국 전통브랜드의 길상문양에 대한 소비자 인식조사에 의하면 소비자는 백년전통브랜드에 길상문양을 적용하는 것에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 취하고 있으며, 중국의 북방소비자와 남성소비자들이 추상문양과 동물문양을 선호하는 반면에 남방소비자들과 여성소비자들은 구체적이고 감성적인 식물문양을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 연령대별로 시대성과 관심의 차이로 인하여 길상문양을 선호하는 것이 다르게 나타났는데, 전반적으로 길상문양을 사용하면 인지도가 높아진다고 여겼으며, 20대의 경우에는 차별화에 도움이 되고 50대는 행운감을 가져온다는 답이 가장 높았다. 길상문양을 사용하기에 가장 적합한 업종은 수공업과 식·음료업이라고 조사되었으며 구매자나 판매자 모두 길상문양을 띈 브랜드의 제품을 소비할 때 행운이 따르는 느낌을 받을 수 있다는 것으로 조사되었다. Most of the Chinese brands with 100 years of history are from Ming or Qing Dynasty, and promoting brand awareness and recognition through the use of signs combining texts and imagesutilizing auspicious patterns based on Chinese traditional culture. In this study, the inherent meaning of traditional auspicious patterns of China through literature, and a concentrated research on consumer awareness on traditional auspicious patterns in their own form because, auspicious patterns are commonly used in transformed forms of “formation”, “meaning” and “spirit” in brands with 100 years of history. According to the research on consumer awareness on auspicious patterns of Chinese traditional brands, consumers are positive toward the application of auspicious patterns on brands with 100 years of history. Northern consumers and males consumers of China preferred conceptual patterns and animal patterns while Southern consumers and female consumers preferred plant patterns that are more specific and emotional. Also, there are some different preferences among different age groups due to their interests and trends of the times. Overall, they thought the brand recognition increases with the use of auspicious patterns. Consumers in their 20s thought it helps the brands from distinguishing them from other brands, and consumers in their 50s thought it brings feelings of good luck. The industries that are most suitable to use auspicious patterns were found to be handcraft manufacturing and food·beverage industries, and both the buyers and sellers feel auspicious when consuming products of brands with auspicious patterns.

        Overall, since China reformed and opened up her market, China has been living in the location of the world in attracting foreign direct investment inflows. It can be said that the China's achievements in attracting foreign direct investment is that China has successfully used the investment of overseas Chinese and growing diversity of sources from other foreign direct investment. China’s opening up and rapid growth of the domestic market had been fundamental to her success. Preferential policies help China achieve a large-scale potential for attracting foreign direct investment. However, with the deepening of investment, the Chinese government developed a certain policy restrictions limit to foreign investors. Therefore, in this article I will focus on China’s international investment law under the impetus of the economic tide, and international investment law will play an important role for the management of the foreign enterprises in China. With the constraints of international investment law, China has made great progress in the foreign investment, of course, foreign-funded enterprises has also led to China’s economy. According to the International Investment Law, foreign investment management is getting continuous improvement.

        Effect of Alternating Vacuum and Release Process on Drying Characteristics of Log Cross Section during Radio Frequency Drying

        Log cross sections of yellow poplar were dried in a radio frequency vacuum (RFV) dryer under alternating vacuum and release (AVR) process. The average moisture content (MC), temperature and vapor pressure at the volumetric center were monitored as functions of time. Three different log thicknesses (33, 60 and 75mm) were tested. The results show that the AVR process caused an increase in the drying rate when the moisture content was above fiber saturation point (FSP, about 30% MC) but that it had an inverse effect on the drying rate when the MC was below FSP. The effect of the AVR process on the drying rate decreased, and the severity of heart checks increased, with the increase in the thickness of the specimens.

        We analyzed dose-dependent effects of vancomycin on wound infection bacteria and investigated the relationship between dose and microbial imbalances in patients treated with intrawound vancomycin powder during spine surgery. Numerous trials have confirmed that using intrawound vancomycin powder during spine surgery may decrease postoperative wound infection rates. However, potential risks include changes in wound infection bacteria, inhibition of bone fusion, and systemic toxicity. We searched PubMed for articles published since October 2016 with the following terms: “local vancomycin” or “intrawound vancomycin” or “intraoperative vancomycin” or “intrawound vancomycin” or “topical vancomycin” and “spinal surgery” or “spine surgery.” We also screened the reference lists of included articles for additional studies and extracted data related to dose, infecting bacteria, sample size, infection rate and types, location of spine surgery, and perioperative antibiotics used. Our review includes one prospective and nine retrospective studies. Overall, 1 or 2 g local vancomycin powder was used in 2,394 patients. Gram-negative bacteria were dominant in patients in whom 1 g vancomycin powder was used, whereas gram-positive bacteria were dominant in those in whom 2 g powder was used. The exact mechanism underlying this dose-dependent trend remains unclear, although it may be attributed to the pharmacological characteristics of vancomycin. The included studies showed that trends in infection bacteria may change after the use of topical vancomycin powder. In addition, the observed increase in gram-negative bacteria when intrawound vancomycin powder is used has generated considerable attention. The present results differ from previous results but do not provide additional information regarding vancomycin dose and microbial changes in infected wounds. Additional large randomized controlled trials are needed to determine the relationship between vancomycin dose and the types of wound infection bacteria in patients treated with intrawound vancomycin powder during spine surgery.

        Development and Evaluation of a Duplex Real-Time PCR Assay With a Novel Internal Standard for Precise Quantification of Plasma DNA

        Background: Circulating levels of cell-free DNA increase in many pathologic conditions. However, notable discrepancies in the quantitative analysis of cell-free DNA from a large number of laboratories have become a considerable pitfall, hampering its clinical application. Methods: We designed a novel recombinant DNA fragment that could be applied as an internal standard in a newly developed and validated duplex real-time PCR assay for the quantitative analysis of total cell-free plasma DNA, which was tested in 5,442 healthy adults and 200 trauma patients. Results: Compared with two traditional methods, this novel assay showed a lower detection limit of 0.1 ng/mL, lower intra- and inter-assay CVs, and higher accuracy in the recovery test. The median plasma DNA concentration of healthy males (20.3 ng/mL, n=3,092) was significantly higher than that of healthy females (16.1 ng/mL, n=2,350) (Mann-Whitney two-sample rank sum test, P<0.0001). The reference intervals of plasma DNA concentration were 0-45.8 ng/mL and 0-52.5 ng/mL for healthy females and males, respectively. The plasma DNA concentrations of the majority of trauma patients (96%) were higher than the upper normal cutoff values and were closely related to the corresponding injury severity scores (R2=0.916, P<0.0001). Conclusions: This duplex real-time PCR assay with a new internal standard could eliminate variation and allow for more sensitive, repeatable, accurate, and stable quantitative measurements of plasma DNA, showing promising application in clinical diagnosis.

        Effect of Temperature on Resistivity of CFRP Materials with Added Carbon Powder or Nano-silica

        This paper presents an experimental investigation on the effect of temperature on resistivity of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) materials. A series of tests were conducted on three types of CFRP materials, namely pure CFRP material, CFRP with carbon powder (4% in weight) and CFRP with nano-silica (4% in weight). Test results showed that adding carbon powder into the epoxy resin decreases the initial electric resistance R0 and initial volume resistivity ρ0 while adding nano-silica increases R0 and ρ0 compared to pure CFRP material. Preheating cycle test results showed that the volume resistivity of all three types of specimens linearly increases with increasing temperature. CFRP with added nano-silica exhibits higher temperature sensitivity than CFRP with added carbon powder compared to the lowest temperature sensitivity for pure CFRP material. In addition, temperature cycle test results showed that CFRP specimens have approximately stable values of volume resistivity. Both CFRP specimens with added carbon powder or nano-silica exhibit a recognizable trend of first decrease and then increase in volume resistivity with increasing temperature both during heating and cooling cycles. CFRP with added carbon powder mainly shows Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) effect in the temperature range of −40 to 40oC and Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) effect from 40 to 80oC. CFRP with added nano-silica mainly exhibits PTC effect in the temperature domain of −15 to 80oC and NTC effect from −40 to −15oC. A mathematical-physical model with respect to the thermal effect was presented based on the Eshelby-Mori-Tanaka (EMT) approach and mesomechanics method. The results obtained with the model agree well with the test results considering the temperature domain of PTC effect, which indicates that the proposed model is effective in characterizing the variation of fractional change in resistance (ΔR/R0) at varying temperature.

        Simultaneous detection of Salmonella spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus cereus, and Escherichia coli O157:H7 in environmental water using PMA combined with mPCR

        A multiplex polymerase chain reaction (mPCR) with propidium monoazide (PMA) and internal amplification control (IAC) for the simultaneous detection of waterborne pathogens Salmonella spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus cereus, and Escherichia coli O157:H7, was developed. This PMA-IAC-mPCR assay used four new specific primers based on the genes for invA, ecfX, cesB, and fliC, respectively. A 16S rRNA primer was chosen for IAC to eliminate false negative results. The photosensitive dye, propidium monoazide (PMA) was used to exclude signals from dead bacteria that could lead to false positive results. In pure culture, the limits of detection (LOD) were 101 CFU/ml for P. aeruginosa, 102 CFU/ml for both Salmonella spp. and E. coli O157:H7, and 103 CFU/ml for B. cereus, respectively. In addition, with a 6–8 h enrichment of all four bacteria that were combined in a mixture that was spiked in water sample matrix, the LOD was 3 CFU/ml for Salmonella spp., 7 CFU/ml for E. coli O157:H7, 10 CFU/ml for B. cereus and 2 CFU/ml for P.aeruginosa. This PMA-IAC-mPCR assay holds potential for application in the multiplex assay of waterborne pathogens.

        The application of a fuzzy inference system and analytical hierarchy process based online evaluation framework to the Donghai Bridge Health Monitoring System

        In this paper, a fuzzy inference system and an analytical hierarchy process-based online evaluation technique is developed to monitor the condition of the 32-km Donghai Bridge in Shanghai. The system has 478 sensors distributed along eight segments selected from the whole bridge. An online evaluation subsystem is realized, which uses raw data and extracted features or indices to give a set of hierarchically organized condition evaluations. The thresholds of each index were set to an initial value obtained from a structure damage and performance evolution analysis of the bridge. After one year of baseline monitoring, the initial threshold system was updated from the collected data. The results show that the techniques described are valid and reliable. The online method fulfills long-term infrastructure health monitoring requirements for the Donghai Bridge.

        Metabolic Regulation of Gene Expression by Histone Lysine β-Hydroxybutyrylation

        <P><B>Summary</B></P> <P>Here we report the identification and verification of a β-hydroxybutyrate-derived protein modification, lysine β-hydroxybutyrylation (Kbhb), as a new type of histone mark. Histone Kbhb marks are dramatically induced in response to elevated β-hydroxybutyrate levels in cultured cells and in livers from mice subjected to prolonged fasting or streptozotocin-induced diabetic ketoacidosis. In total, we identified 44 histone Kbhb sites, a figure comparable to the known number of histone acetylation sites. By ChIP-seq and RNA-seq analysis, we demonstrate that histone Kbhb is a mark enriched in active gene promoters and that the increased H3K9bhb levels that occur during starvation are associated with genes upregulated in starvation-responsive metabolic pathways.
