The mechanisms of formation of transfer film under the condition of wear of Steel AISI1020 by natural rubber were investigated. The transfer film was observed and the formation mechanisms were clarified. The formation process of transfer film on the worn surface of the steel could be divided into two stages. Firstly, the adhesive layer emerged on the worn surface of the steel by adhesion of natural rubber, in which the macromolecular chains of natural rubber joined to the surface of the steel by Van der Waals' force. And then, the iron atom and metal oxide reacted with the macroradicals of natural rubber in the adhesive layer and produced Fe-polymer compound. As a result, the transfer film was formed on the worn surface of the steel. The transfer film was joined to the worn surface of the steel by the chemical bonds and electrostatic force.

Nogo protein, encoded by gene reticulon-4 (RTN4), includes three major isoforms by different splicing, named Nogo-A Nogo-B and Nogo-C. Nogo proteins play an important role in the apoptosis of cells, especially in tumor cells. RTN4 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) can influence the efficiency of transcription and translation thus being related with an individual's predisposition to cancer. The CAA insertion/deletion polymorphism (rs34917480) within RTN4 3'-UTR has been reported to be associated with many cancer types. In order to investigate the relationship between this polymorphism and susceptibility to non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in the Chinese population, we conducted the present case-control study including 411 NSCLC patients and 471 unrelated healthy controls. The genotype distributions were significantly different between cases and controls (p=0.014). We found that the del allele could significantly increase NSCLC risk (ins/ins vs ins/del: p=0.007, OR 1.46, 95%CI=1.11-1.93; dominant model: p=0.004, OR 1.47, 95%CI=1.13-1.92 and allele model: p=0.008, OR 1.35, 95%CI=1.08-1.67). This association was stronger in participants over 60 years old, males and smokers. We therefore conclude that the CAA insertion/deletion polymorphism (rs34917480) contributes to non-small cell lung cancer risk in Chinese population. Age, sex and environmental exposure are also related to carcinogenic effects of rs34917480.
A novel method for identifying rotor-stator rubbing positions using the cepstrum analysis technique
Guo Chen,Yong-Quan Liu,Guang-Yi Jiang,Cheng-Gang Li,Guo-Quan Feng,De-You Wang 대한기계학회 2014 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.28 No.9
A novel method of aero-engine rubbing positions identification based on cepstrum analysis is proposed, and the transfer path characteristicswhich reflect the transfer characteristics information from rubbing points to casing measuring points are separated from the vibrationacceleration signals of casing by means of cepstrum analysis. Therefore, there is different transfer characteristics information atdifferent rubbing positions, and in view of this, twenty rubbing positions identification features from the cepstrum are extracted. A largenumber of rubbing experiments of different positions are simulated with the rotor experiment rig of aero-engine, and the characteristicanalysis of experimental samples at different rubbing positions is carried out, and the results indicate the consistency of features to thesame rubbing position and the difference of the features to the different rubbing positions. Finally, the aero-engine rubbing positionsidentification is carried out using the nearest neighbor classification method, the recognition rate reaches 100%, and the effectiveness ofthe method is full verified.
Modelling and Experimental Study of Halbach Array Magnetic Coupler
De-yong Li,Shuang Wang,Yongcun Guo,Xin Ma 대한토목학회 2023 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.27 No.1
In order to effectively solve the current problems of magnetic couplers such as large area and complex internal coil, the Halbach array magnetic coupler was proposed. According to the specific characteristics of the hybrid magnetic coupler structure, the mathematical model of air gap magnetic flux density is established by using the combination of electric circuit and electromagnetic field solution. Based on the current superposition, the current is converted to the surface of the copper conductor, and the electromagnetic torque model of the space magnetic field is established by integrating the induced electromotive force along the circumferential direction. In order to verify the correctness of theoretical analysis, the 1:4 prototype was designed and manufactured. Then simulation verification and experiment measurement on its mechanical behaviour are performed. The results show that the maximum error of theoretical value, simulation value and test value is 9.3%. Under the same volume size, the output torque of Halbach array magnetic coupler is increased by 16.1% compared with the ordinary disk magnetic coupler. The research could provide the reference for the design and experimental research of magnetic coupler.

A multivalent fusion vaccine is a promising option for protection against Helicobacter pylori infection. In this study, UreB414 was identified as an antigenic fragment of urease B subunit (UreB) and it induced an antibody inhibiting urease activity. Immunization with UreB414 partially protected mice from H. pylori infection. Furthermore, a trivalent fusion vaccine was constructed by genetically linking heat shock protein A (HspA), H. pylori adhesin A (HpaA), and UreB414, resulting in recombinant HspA-HpaA-UreB414 (rHHU). Its protective effect against H. pylori infection was tested in BALB/c mice. Oral administration of rHHU significantly protected mice from H. pylori infection, which was associated with H. pylori-specific antibody production and Th1/Th2-type immune responses. The results show that a trivalent fusion vaccine efficiently combats H. pylori infection, and that an antigenic fragment of the protein can be used instead of the whole protein to construct a multivalent vaccine.

For better understanding the defense mechanism against white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) and Vibrio anguillarum, immune responses of shrimp were evaluated in this study. The mRNA expression levels of five immune-related genes were analyzed by quantitative reverse real-time PCR, which included proPO-activating enzyme 1 (PPAE1), PPAE2, proPO activating factor (PPAF), masquerade-like serine proteinase (Mas) and ras-related nuclear gene (Ran). Results demonstrated that the transcription was suppressed more intensively in the multiple infection group than those in single infection groups. The transcriptional suppression was directly related to the higher mortality. The hypoimmunity could benefit pathogen invasion, replication and release of toxin in?vivo. Chu, De-Jie,Guo, Shui-Gen,Pan, Chun-Feng,Wang, Jing,Du, Yong,Lu, Xu-Feng,Yu, Zhu-Yuan Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2012 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.13 No.6
Objective: To assess induction effects of Chlamydia pneumoniae (Cpn) on lung cancer in rats. Methods: A lung cancer animal model was developed through repeated intratracheal injection of Cpn (TW-183) into the lungs of rats, with or without exposure to benzo(a)pyrene (Bp). Cpn antibodies (Cpn-IgA, -IgG, and -IgM) in serum were measured by microimmunofluorescence. Cpn-DNA or Cpn-Ag of rat lung cancer was detected through polymerase chain reaction or enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: The prevalence of Cpn infection was 72.9% (35/48) in the Cpn group and 76.7% (33/43) in the Cpn plus benzo(a)pyrene (Bp) group, with incidences of lung carcinomas in the two groups of 14.6% (7/48) and 44.2% (19/43), respectively (P-values 0.001 and <0.000 compared with normal controls). Conclusions: A rat model of lung carcinoma induced by Cpn infection was successfully established in the laboratory for future studies on the treatment, prevention, and mechanisms of the disease.

( Yu Bin Guo ),( Kang Min Zhuang ),( Lei Kuang ),( Qiang Zhan ),( Xian Fei Wang ),( Si De Liu ) 대한소화기학회 2015 Gut and Liver Vol.9 No.5
Background/Aims: Recent papers have highlighted the role of diet and lifestyle habits in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), but very few population-based studies have evaluated this association in developing countries. The aim of this study was to evaluate the association between diet and lifestyle habits and IBS. Methods: A food frequency and lifestyle habits questionnaire was used to record the diet and lifestyle habits of 78 IBS subjects and 79 healthy subjects. Cross-tabulation analysis and logistic regression were used to reveal any association among lifestyle habits, eating habits, food consumption frequency, and other associated conditions. Results: The results from logistic regression analysis indicated that IBS was associated with irregular eating (odds ratio [OR], 3.257), physical inactivity (OR, 3.588), and good quality sleep (OR, 0.132). IBS subjects ate fruit (OR, 3.082) vegetables (OR, 3.778), and legumes (OR, 2.111) and drank tea (OR, 2.221) significantly more frequently than the control subjects. After adjusting for age and sex, irregular eating (OR, 3.963), physical inactivity (OR, 6.297), eating vegetables (OR, 7.904), legumes (OR, 2.674), drinking tea (OR, 3.421) and good quality sleep (OR, 0.054) were independent predictors of IBS. Conclusions: This study reveals a possible association between diet and lifestyle habits and IBS. (Gut Liver 2015;9:649-656)
