        The excavation works for deep foundation in urban areas have recently increased complaints of blasting vibration and settlement of ground level. Foundation must be excavated approximately up to 24∼28m depths from the surface. The roads and subway line pass through the excavation area. The Dae-chung station is also located at the nearest distance 5∼35m fron the working site. To protect subway station and adjacient some structures from blasting and settlement, the level of ground vibration, displacements and stress were monitored and analyzed. The results can be summarized as follows : 1. An empirical particle velocity equation was obtained by test blasts at Nassan Missi 860 Officetel construction site. V=K(D/√W)^-n, where the values for n and k are estimated to be 0.371 and 1.551 respectively. From this ground vibration equation, the max, charge weight per delay time against distance from blasting point is calculated. Detailed blasting method is also presented. 2. To measure the horizontal displacement in directions in directions perpendicular to the borehole axis, 6 inclinometers installed around working sites. The displacement at the beginning was comparatively high because the installation of struts was delayed, but after its installation the values showed a stable trend. Among them, the displacement by 3 inclinometers installed on a temporary parking area showed comparatively high values, for example, the displacement measrued at hole No. IC-1 recorded the max, 57.33mm for 7 months. So, all of these data was estimated below a safe standard value 103mm. 3. Seven strain gauge meter was installed to measure value of maximum stress was-465㎏f/㎠, -338.4㎏f/㎠, 302.3㎏f/㎠ respectively. In compare to the allowable stress level of steel, they are estimated to be safe.

        Suspended and dissolved substance were included in water. Suspended substances can be relatively easily removed by sand filter, whereas, complete removal of dissolved substances in water was not possible at present. It is due to repulsion between negative charge of dissolved substances and sand filter previously used. Potential application of sand filters coated with Al and Fe in removing humid substances was evaluated in this experiment to improve removal efficiency of the dissolved substances in the water. In the adsorption experiment, the removal efficiency of humic substances was higher in the coated sand filter than In the uncoated one. More specifically, the higher removal efficiency of the humic substances in the Al-coating sand filter was obtained over the pH range randomly determined(4.2, 5.1, 7.6, and 10.0). Especially, the removal efficiency of the humic substance at the pH 10 was relatively constantly maintained at a level of about 95% during the maximum 8 hours. After then, it was sharply decreased. In the leaching experiment, the concentration of leachate in both coated and uncoated sand filters was all the highest at pH 9.95. It was relatively higher over the pH range of 7 to 10 than other pH range. Finally, the removal efficiency of the humic substances obtained in the readsorption experiment was rapidly declined, compared to that obtained in the adsorption experiment. Experiment results acquired in this research may be used to develop a promising technology for the removal of bacteria, algae, and colorful colloids, and a variety of dissolved substances in water.

        Eine Analyse der Verwirklichung des Rechts auf Bildung f?r behinderte Kinder und Jugendliche in Korea anhand des Vergleichs mit Deutschland

        장애인의 사회통합을 달성하기 위해 그들의 교육권 보장은 가장 기본적인 전제조건이라고 할 수 있다. 우선 교육은 인간으로서의 잠재된 능력을 계발하여 인간다운 생활을 영위하는데 포기할 수 없는 기본적인 요소다. 독일과 한국 헌법의 핵심인 인간의 존엄성과 개인의 자유와 평등의 실현 또한 교육과정을 통해서만 이룩할 수 있다. 이에 한국은 헌법 31조에서 모든 국민은 능력에 따라 균등한 교육을 받을 권리를 갖는다고 직접적으로 규정하고 있다. 하지만 장애인은 비장애인에 비해 정신적 또는 육체적인 한계를 지니고 있기 때문에, 비 장애인을 대상으로 하는 일반적인 교육제도하에서는 그들의 권리가 완전하게 실현되기 어렵다. 따라서 장애인의 교육권 보장을 위해서 법과 제도를 통해 장애인과 비장애인 사이의 불평등을 제거해야 하는 국가의 책임이 요구된다.

        Splenic pseudoaneurysm following upper abdominal surgery is uncommon but highly lethal complication. Surgical and angiographic interventions are used in treatment; however, optimal therapy remains unclear. We report herein the case of a 37-year-old woman in whom proximal splenic artery pseudoaneurysm ruptured into the small intestine via a fistula, following total gastrectomy. It causes massive bleeding, which was successfully managed by trans-catheter arterial embolization.

      • 홍삼 내 ginsenosides의 경구용 제제 개발을 위한 전략수립

        Ginsenosides saponins are phytochemically extracted from red ginseng, and have been regarded as the principal components manifesting the pharmacologic activities. Saponins are very soluble in water but poorly absorbed when administrated orally. Moreover, they have some disadvantages including the decomposition in acid medium. Therefore various designs and techniques have been studied for development of optimal formulation and modification of release profile. This review focused on pH-response polymer and bioadhesive polymer considering the low stability in acid medium and the low permeability in mucosal membrane of saponins. The application of these polymers are considered as potential strategy for improvement of bioavailability in oral delivery of saponins.

        Young stem and leaf segment of Foeniculum vulgare for producing embryologic callus and embryos were cultured in vitro on various medium as well as MS medium treated with different concentration of plant growth regulators alone or in combination with other plant growth on MS medium, whereas was lower in treatments with BAP and kinetin. The combination effect with 2,4-D 0.01㎎/ℓ and cytokinins varied with kind of cytokinins. The plot of BAP added with 2,4-D 0.01㎎/ℓ was effective as high as 2,4-D alone treatment. MS and MT medium were more effective than LS and W medium in production of somatic embryos from incubated embryologic callus. Most favorable plant growth regulator for producing somatic embryos was 2,4-D 0.01㎎/ℓ but IAA, ABA, BAP, and kinetin were less effective at any concentration. BAP 0.01㎎/ℓ added with 2,4-D 0.1㎎/ℓ effective as high as 2,4-D 0.1㎎/ℓ alone in somatic embryo production.

      • 실내사회체육시설의 온도, 습도, 조명도에 관한 실태분석

        This study is aimed to analyze investigations on the envoronmental conditions of indoor sports facilities and to research the effects of environmental pollutants on the health. Among the sites of rollerskate, bowling, table tennis, and taekwondo in Taegu city area, three sites were selected in this study respectively. The data measured are temperature, humidity and illumination. These examined data were compared with seasons, indoor and outdoor, and time from standard levels. The conclusions derived from the results obtained are as follows : Air temperture was not significantly different in all times, but showed significant differences between indoor and outdoor values. In bowling site, it was not significantly different in seasons. In rollerskate site, it showed distinctive differences among 4 sites. Humidity did not show significant difference with time, but was the lowest between 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in winter. So temperature variation had effects on the discomfort in indoor sports facilities more than temperature level itself. Illumination was below 100 Lux in rollerskate and taekwondo sites, over 100 Lux in table tennis and bowling sites. This investigation revealed some negative aspects of environmental management. So we must be able to maintain artificial illumination for guests' eye-power. From the above results, the government is requested to prepare an appropriate administrative measure for the commercial indoor sports facilities.

      • 흉요추 방출성 골절의 방사선학적 소견

        A retrospective review of 22 burst fractures of the thoracolumbar spine was performed to define the radiographic features found on CT and plain radiography. Characteristic components of the injury include : 1. Male to female ratio was 2.7 : 1, and the most prevalent age was 21 to 40 years. 2. Multiple level injuries were 6 cases (27.3%), and the most common cause of injury was fall down(14 cases, 63.6%). 3. The most cammon location was L1(45.5%) 4. The most common pattern of the retropulsed fragment in burst fracture was single midline fragment type(14 cases, 63.6%) and the most common type of burst fracture was classical form(10 cases, 45.5%). 5. Posterior element involvement of vertebra was seen in Ⅱ cases(50%) and the most common finding was laminar fracture in 9 cases. 6. The degree of anterior wedging above the 50% in height of vertebral body was in 4 cases (18.2%). 7. Degree of spinal canal narrowing and degree of neurological impairment is not directly correlated.
