이동통신 서비스 고객의 충성도 제고를 위한 편익 및 결속 관리 전략

본 연구의 목적은 성숙기 경쟁이 치열한 이동통신 서비스 시장에서 기업들이 고객유지, 서비스 추가구매, 고객들의 긍정적 구전 확산을 유도하기 위해 고객들에게 어떠한 형태의 결속을 유도하는 것이 효과적이며, 결속을 제고시키기 위해 어떠한 편익을 제공하는 것이 바람직한 것인가를 알아보는 데 있다. 연구결과, 계산적 결속은 충성도 유형 중에서 서비스 유지에만 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그에 비해 정서적 결속은 서비스 유지뿐만 아니라 긍정적인 구전 및 새로운 서비스의 추가구매 등의 적극적 충성도 형성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 정서적 결속은 상징적, 경험적 편익에 유의미한 영향을 받으며, 계산적 결속은 기능적, 경제적 편익에 유의미한 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 결속 매개모형과 편익·충성도 직접경로 모형을 비교·분석한 결과, 충성도는 다양한 편익에 의해 직접적인 영향을 받기보다 편익에 의해 만들어진 계산적, 정서적 결속에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 충성도 관리를 위해서는 고객들에게 다양한 편익을 제공하는 것보다 다양한 편익들이 계산적, 정서적 결속으로 연결되도록 노력하는 것이 더욱 중요하다는 것을 시사해주고 있다. This research investigates the relationship between service benefit, commitment and type of loyalty. Four Benefits, provided by mobile service are functional, economic, experiential, symbolic benefit. So we examine how they influence affective and calculative commitment of consumers. We also investigate how emotional and calculating commitments affect to type of loyalty (service retention, positive word of mouth, additional service purchase). This study shows what kind of customer commitment should be pursued and which sort of benefit offered for customer retention, cross-selling, and word of mouth. Results indicate both calculative and affective commitment affect customer retention; however, only affective commitment influences additional service purchase, and positive word of mouth. In addition to, symbolic and experiential benefits have influence on affective commitment but functional and economic benefit on calculative commitment. We discuss the implications of these findings for loyalty improving strategy related with service benefit and type of commitment. We suggest a limitation of research and outline promising directions for future research.

Purpose: This study was to investigate symptom occurrence related to the disease characteristics of patients with cancer. Method: A total of 301 patients with cancer participated in this study. The participants were recruited from University Hospitals located in Seoul, Wonju, Kwangju, Daegu, and Pusan. Data collection was performed by using a questionnaire on symptom occurrence. The obtained data was analyzed using SPSS computer program that included descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, one-way ANOVA, and t-test. Result: The mean score of fatigue was the highest (3.24), followed by loss of appetite, lack of concentration, change in appearance, pain, insomnia, change in bowel pattern, nausea/vomiting, coughing, and dyspnea. Most symptoms were significantly correlated with each other. The level of symptom occurrence in patients with lung cancer or cervix cancer was significantly higher than the level in patients with stomach cancer. Patients receiving radiation therapy or a combined therapy of radiation therapy and chemotherapy experienced significantly higher level of symptom occurrence significantly higher level of symptom occurrence than those receiving chemotherapy only. Also, female patients experienced higher level of symptom occurrence than male patients did. Conclusion: The sites of cancer, types of treatment, and gender influence the level of symptom occurrence of patients with cancer. Thus, these variables should be considered when assessing and planing for symptom occurrence of patients with cancer.
김치 추출물에 의한 Aflatoxin B_1의 돌연변이 억제 효과

The inhibitory effects of Kimchi extracts on the mutagenicity induced by aflatoxin B₁(AFB₁) in Salmonella and Drosophila assay systems were studied. The kimchi extracts had inhibitory activity for His^+ to His^+ reverse-mutations induced by AFB₁acting on S. typhimurium TA98. A similar inhibitory effect was detected in somatic cell mutation assaying system of D. melanogaster. In Drosophila wing hair spot test, mutant clone frequency induced by AFB₁was consideranly inhibited by the kimchi extracts. These facts suggest that kimchi rxtracts can inhibit gene mutation, deletion, mititic chromosomal recombination and suppress the formation of cancer and mutation by DNA damage.

Background: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play critical roles in diverse biological cellular processes including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). In the present study, we investigated the role of miR-451, which was identified as a target gene for NAFLD, on the molecular mechanisms underlying inflammatory events during high fat diet (HFD)-induced NAFLD. Methods: Microarray and stem-loop RT-PCR were performed to detect dysregulated miRNAs in mouse models of high fat diet (HFD)-induced NAFLD. After then, we searched the direct miRNA targets through performing pair-wise correlation coeffi cient analysis on expression levels of mRNAs, and compared the results with predicted miRNA targets from TargetScan5.1. Here, the role of miR-451 in FFA-induced inflammation was investigated in hepatocytes. The following factors were examined: (1) miR-451 expression levels in HepG2 cells treated with palmitate, (2) the palmitate-induced protein synthesis of interleukin-8 in miR-451 mimic or miR-NC-transfected steatotic HepG2 cells, and (3) the expression of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) in miR-451 mimic-transfected steatotic HepG2 cells by real time RT-PCR, luciferase reporter assays and Western blotting Results: We identified 7 new miRNAs-target gene pairs by bioinformatics analysis and further confirmed their expression by stem-loop RT-PCR in murine models of HFD-induced NAFLD. Among those genes, we found that miR-451 expression was downregulated in HFD-induced mice. We also found that Cab39 is the direct target of miRNA-451 in steatotic HepG2 cells. Mechanistically, we demonstrated that AMPK activation through Cab39 as a direct target of miRNA-451 inhibits NF-κB transactivation induced by fatty acid palmitate in HepG2 cells. Consequently, overexpression of miRNA-451 in steatotic HepG2 cells suppressed palmitate-induced proinflammatory cytokine IL-8 expression. Conclusions: These results demonstrated the miRNA/mRNA profiles dysregulated in HFD-induced NAFLD mice model, and suggest that miRNA-451 may play an important role in the pathogenesis of NAFLD.

Background: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is one of the most common hepatic disorders in developed countries and a predominant risk factor for cirrhosis. NAFLD progresses through steatohepatitis as an intermediate stage of increased liver cell death and hepatic inflammation. Free fatty acid (FFA)-induced lipotoxicity plays a pivotal role in the pathogenesis of NAFLD. Accordingly, the inhibition of FFAassociated hepatic toxicity represents a potential therapeutic strategy. Oleuropein, a bitter glucoside in green olive leaves, and its metabolite hydroxytyrosol display powerful antioxidant activity, both in vivo and in vitro. However, the mechanism underlying the anti-lipogenic effect of oleuropein is poorly understood. Methods: In the present study, we investigated the potential anti-hepatosteatotic effect of oleuropein in vitro in hepatic steatosis model systems. To assess the anti-lipogenic effect of oleuropein in a NAFLD model, HepG2 and FL83B cells were incubated with 0.5 mM FFAs (oleate:palmitate, 2:1) together with oleuropein. Intracellular lipid levels were quantitatively measured by Nile Red staining. The sizes and distributions of lipid droplets were visualized by transmission electron microscopy. Cellular apoptosis was determined by annexin V/propidium iodide staining, and the activities of lipogenic signaling proteins were evaluated by immunoblotting. Results: Oleuropein significantly decreased the number and size of lipid droplets in FFA-treated cells and reduced intracellular triglyceride accumulation. The level of phosphorylated ERK decreased in FFA-treated cells in the presence of oleuropein. Conclusions: The protective effects of oleuropein against FFAinduced hepatocellular steatosis suggest a promising therapeutic intervention strategy for NAFLD. This study is related to the synthesis of photopolymer bearing pendant cinnamicester and cycllc carbonate groups by the addition reaction of poly(glycidylmethacrylate-co-acrylonitrile) [poly(GMA-co-AN)] with carbon dioxide and then with cinnamoyl chloride. Quaternary ammonium salts showed good catalytic activity for the synthesis of [poly(CNMA-co-DOMA-co-AN)]. The conversion of poly(GMA-co-AN) increased with the increase of alkyl chain length and the nucleophilicity of counter anion of the quaternary salt. Photochemical relation experiments revealed that the photopolymer had good photosensitivity even in the absence of sensitizer.
