Hypoparathyroidism is usually the result of an inadvertent surgical removal of all the parathyroid glands, In some instances, not all the tissues are removed, but the remainder undergoes vascular supply compromise secondary to the fibrotic changes in the neck after surgery, Previously, the surgery for hyperthyroidism was the most frequent cause of acquired hypoparathyroidism. Idiopathic hypoparathyroidism is a relatively rare disease that is characterized by hypocalcemia and hyperphosphatemia due to a parathyroid hormone deficiency of an unknown cause, It usually develops at a young age, and shows various clinical symptoms and signs accompanied with hypocalcemia. In addition, it is rarely associated with polyglandular autoimmune syndrome during the follow-up. Hypocalcemia and idiopathic hypoparathyroidism associated with labor and lactation are rarely reported condition previously. We here describe a case of a woman in whom the symptomatic severe hypocalcemia appeared after her delivery. We reviewed all the previously reported cases and suggest a possible physiological explanation for the association between pregnancy, lactation, and the appearance of symptomatic hypocalcemia.

The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the third year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows : - analyzing and differentiating of epidemic febrile disease - analyzing and differentiating in accordance with the Sasang constitution medicine based on four-type recognition - differentiation of disease according to pathological changes of Chong and Ren channels - standards for diagnosis of women's disease - standards for diagnosis of children's disease - standards for diagnosis of motor and sensor disturbance (-muscle. born, joint, etc.) - standards for diagnosis of neuropsychiatric disease - standards for diagnosis of five sense organ disease - standards for diagnosis of external disease The indivisual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs, the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern, discrimination of diagnosis pattern, prognosis, a way of curing a disease, prescription, herbs in common use, disease appearing the diagnosis pattern, documents. The standards for diagnosis of each disease was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of disease, the main point of diagnosis, analyzing and differentiating of disease, analysis of disease, discrimination of disease, prognosis, a way of curing and prescription of disease, disease in western medicine appearing the disease in oriental medicine, documents.

Robert Frost의 노동의 시학

The purpose of this study is to examine Robert Frost's poetics of labor, derived from extreme human situations. While not a particularly innovative approach, viewing art in its relation with life is nevertheless a crucial method of Robert Frost scholarship. Frost was concerned with the universal and enduring emotions, that highlight contemporary life in the 20th century. In other words, like many other contemporary poets, Frost did not think that man can live fantastically or romantically amid the harsh realities of the world. Therefore, his poetry is focused on the methods for accepting and overcoming these tragic problems. In Frost's own words, the purpose for writing poetry is "a momentary stay against confusion." Therefore, the main theme of his poetry was the wisdom of coping with the human existential situation-chaos or confusion. Frost has shown that man is not doomed to frustration and failure. The fact that he exploits terrifying aspects of human life for his poetic materials seems to suggest that he accepted the vision of doom in life. New England was an archetype for his poetic world. In other words, New Englanders served as models for his poetry writing. Frost himself once said about metaphor, "Poetry begins in trivial metaphors, pretty metaphors, "grace" metaphors, and goes on to the profoundest thinking that we have. Poetry provides the one permissible way of saying one thing and meaning another." In sum, Frost's composition of poetry is focused his metaphors. Therefore, Frost in his poetry begins with a realistic description of a scene or matter and develops into an interpretation of its meaning. Throughout his creative career, Frost exhibited painstaking and consistent efforts to overcome these tragic human existential conditions. In the face of chaos and the uncertainty of life, endurance and acceptance are sometimes essential; however, for the sake of survival, man should fight against the tragic conditions with effort, wisdom, courage, and a profound meditation on life. Accordingly this study examines the metaphor of labor among some disorderly and chaotic aspects of life. Frost believed that laboring and writing is the same in the light of the purpose. And the crux of his poetics is made up the thought. In conclusion, as Frost states in "The Lesson for Today," "I had a lover's quarrel in the world." He proposed courage and wisdom in enduring the calamities of life, and love born of genuine human relationships. In this respect, he is a great poet who strove to achieve man's self-recognition through the various conflicts and chaotic facets of life and to show unity through acceptance and conquest. This lover's quarrel is Frost's poetic subject, and throughout his poetry there are evidences of this view of man's existence in the natural world.

Background : Coronary disease is highly prevalent in patient with end stage renal disease (ESRD) and account for much of their observed morbidity and mortality. Troponin-I consistently maintains a high sensitivity and specificity and is most sensitive marker for ischemic heart disease (IHD). Method : We examed 49 hernodialyzed patients (22 male, 27 female) without evidence of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) for 6 months. Biochemical markers were measured in serial predialysis blood samples. For analysis, we used two cardio-specific assays for troponin-T (cTnT) as well as for troponin-I (cTnI) and compared the results with CK-MB (reference value ≤ 4.0 ng/mL) concentration. Results : Myocardial ischemia was observed in 47% (23/49) of patients. cTnT level above 0.1 ng/mL. and cTnI level above 0.5 ng/mL, were observed in 22% (11/49) and 20% (10/49) of patients respectively. cTnI revealed significantly higher positive rate in patients with myocardial ischemia than the patients without myocardial ischemia (43 % vs 30%) (p<0.05). cTnT and CK-MB revealed no difference in positive rate between the patients with and without myocardial ischemia (cTnT : 30% vs 15% and CK-MB : 30% vs 19%). The sensitivity and specificity of cTnI to myocardial ischemia were higher than those of cTnT and CK-MB (sensitivity 43% vs 30% and 30%. specificity 100% vs 85% and 81%). Conclusion: Both cTnT and cTnI are useful in ruling out myocardial injury in chronic renal failure patients. But. cTnI is a more sensitivity and excellent specificity of ischemic heart disease than cTnT and CK-MB in hemodialyzed patients. In patients with ischemic heart disease, the presences of DM and advanced age were higher than those in patients without ischemic heart disease (p<0.05). Among the baseline characteristics old age, elevated LDH and diabeties were significant more frequent in the patients with elevation of cardiac troponin-I (p>0.5 ng/mL) than those with cardiac troponin-I (p<0.5 ng/mL), p=0.038, p=0.049, and p=0.045, respectively. Our results suggest that these cTnI is the potential diagnostic marker for the prediction of IHD in ESRD patients.

The thesis is to study on image of home in the poetry of Robert Frost based on the extreme situation of the human being. Frost was concemed with the universal and enduring emotions that run through the contemporary's life in 20th century and all of life and with barriers or problems between man and nature, man and God, man and man. Therefore his poetry is focused on the methods for accepting and overcoming these problems. The purpose of writing of poems, Frost thought is "a momentary stay against confusion" Thus, the main theme in his poetry was the wisdom of coping with the human existential situation-chaos of confusion. Frost regarded this world as a sample for the whole, including his religious belief. On the assumption that all artists need the sample, he attempts to see and understand a piece for the whole. Frost picked the region, New England out of many ones for his various poetic materials and tried to communicate his understandings and truman life displayed in the nature of New England realistically. New England was the archetype of his poetic world. In other words, dwellers in the region were the model of his writing of poems. Because Frost himself once said, "If I must be classified as a poet, I might be called a synecdochist; for I prefer the synecdoche in poetry." In the final analysis, Frost has shown the painstaking and consistent effort to tide over this tragic human existential conditions through his all of life. Faced with the chaos of life, endurance and acceptance are essential sometimes, but for survival man should fight against the tragic elements and conditions with wisdom, courage, meditation about life and effort. Accordingly the study examines the absence of the space among some absurd aspects of life. For these considerations, chapter I deals with the absence of meaningful spaces in life revealed the archetypes of the human absurd elements. The meaning of the space is the external house, the most original cradle and the internal house sharing a love with a family, relatives and strangers. And these absence of meaningful spaces triggered the destruction of each individual identity and falling to pieces of human relations. Chapter Ⅱ treats the acceptance from these absent situations and the conquest pursuing life itself on earth. In conclusion, as Frost speaks in "The Lesson for Today," "I had a lover's quarrel in the world." he presented courage and wisdom to endure life, love through genuine human relationship. In this respect, he is a great poet who tries to come out man's self-recognition through the various conflicts and human absurd components and show unity through acceptance and conquest in his poetry. This lover's quarrel is Frost's poetic subject, and throughout his poetry there are evidences of this view of man's existence in the natural world.

The purpose of this study was t investigate isokinetic functional strength evaluation of shoulder rotational strength in korean professional baseball pictchers. Healthy professional elite pitchers(8 males) participated in this study. In order to mearsure the isokinetic peak torque, ER/IR ratio, PK%BW ratio, total work, peak torque acceleration energy, mean power, endurance ratio, we examined the both upper extremities of subjects at the angular velocity 60。/sec, 120。/sec, 180。/sec. The major results are as follows ; 1. There was meaningful statistical difference(P<.05, P<.01) between dominant side and non-dominant side in peak torque of the internal shoulder rotators at 120。/sec, 180。/sec speed. 2. There was meaningful statistical difference(P<.05), between dominant side and non-dominant side in peak torque % body weight of the internal shoulder rotators at 120。/sec speed. 3. There was meaningful statistical difference(P<.01, P<.05) between dominant side and non-dominant side in total work of the internal and external shoulder rotators at 180。/sec speed. 4. There was meaningful statistical difference(P<.01) between dominant side and non-dominant side in mean power of the internal shoulder rotators at 180。/sec speed.

The purpose of the study was to examine the recognition about physical education class, physical education evaluation, and teacher at a girl's middle school. In study 455 middle school students completed the questionnaire. The questions that appeared on the questionnaire were composed of 21 items from the three parts. Part 1 contained 14 questions regarding the physical education class recognition. Part 2 contained 3 questions regarding the physical education class evaluation. Part 3 contained 4 questions regarding the physical education teacher. Results showed that : The first, recognition about physical education class of a girl's middle school students is different from grade and area. The second, recognition about physical education class evaluation of a girl's middle school students is different from grade and area. The third, recognition about physical education teacher of a girl's middle school students is different from grade and area.
