        설리 잭슨의 픽션과 여성 고딕 문학의 전통 -단편 소설과 『벽을 통한 길』에 나타난 집과 여성의 관계

        This essay attempts to reevaluate Shirley Jackson`s Gothic fiction in which the setting plays a crucial role in creating horror. Women characters in her short stories are entrapped in their houses as in the cases of "The Good Wife," "The Story We Used to Tell," "A Visit," and "The Honeymoon of Mrs. Smith"; or, those who are fortunate enough to escape fail in finding their own home as in the cases of "The Beautiful Stranger," "Louisa, Please Come Home," "A Day in the Jungle," and "Bus." This essay contends that these stories reflect the fear and anxiety of women living in postwar America, the Age of the Feminine Mystique, when the image of Rosie the riveter gave way to that of a housewife who is content with her domestic life. This essay also investigates The Road through the Wall, one of the earliest Suburban Gothic texts, to discuss Jackson`s criticism of the walled-off life of the suburbanites and her diagnosis of their fears and anxieties.

        시각적 이미지를 활용한 언어훈련이 중도정신지체아동의 수용언어능력에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 시각적 이미지를 활용한 언어훈련이 중도정신지체아동의 수용언어능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 수원시에 위치한 초등학교 2학년에 통합된 중도정신지체아동 1명을 대상으로 연구하였다. 단일사례 실험 연구로서 시각적 이미지를 활용한 언어훈련을 독립변인으로, 수용언어능력에 미치는 영향을 종속변인으로 사전․사후 검사로 설계하였다. 검사 도구로는 수용어휘검사와 문장이해검사를 제작하여 사용하였고, 일화기록과 의사소통관찰기록을 통해 사전․사후 검사와의 관련성을 분석하였다. 프로그램은 주5회, 총22회기로 진행하였고, 4회기 마다 관찰활동을 병행하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 시각적 이미지를 활용한 언어훈련이 중도정신지체아동의 어휘습득능력과 문장이해능력에 유의미한 향상을 가져왔고, 수용언어능력의 변화가 의사소통능력에 유의미한 영향을 주었다. 이로써 중도정신지체아동의 언어능력 향상을 위한 훈련 시 시각적 이미지를 활용한 언어훈련이 효과적임을 알 수 있다. In this study, a severe mental retardation child who is integrated into second grade of W elementary school in Suwon was investigated to find out the effect of language training using visual images on receptive language ability. As a single case experiment, this study was designed with language training using visual images as an independent variable and the effect on receptive language ability as a dependent variable. Receptive vocabulary test and sentence comprehension test were used as test instruments and relation between a preliminary and post test was analyzed with anecdotal records and communication observation records. The training was applied to for five sessions a week and totally twenty-two sessions and observation combined with the training every four sessions. To conclude, vocabulary acquisition and sentence comprehension ability of the severe mental retardation child in the post test was meaningfully improved after applying the language training with visual images. Furthermore, receptive language ability improvement influenced communication ability of the severe mental retardation child. Therefore, it is considered that the language training with visual images is effective on the training for language capability of the severe mental retardation child.

        도시 공간의 교육환경 격차에 대한 연구

        The purpose of the present study is to discover how the spatial features of the educationalenv ironment patterns (educational activity, education facility, and related environment and space) found in urban space are understood as constituent components of the city. For this purpose, the study explored educational facilities relating to learning activities (students' homes, schools, and academic institutes) and the physical distribution of harmful facilities as found in Cheongju city. Also, by offering three categories of the educational features observable in an urban area and then applying them, this paper has sought to understand the city from the perspective of education. There are three key perspectives delineated throughout this study in reference to educational environment patterns, and they are as follows. 1. A student's commuting distance from home to school signifies the equity of public educational environment or utilization of facilities, because it serves as an index of public educational environment, which is a value determined by the physical location of public facilities like a school. 2. The distance from a student's home or school to a private academic institute is explained as an index of private educational environment. This is also an index that is explained by the consumer choice as made in the educational market and at the same time, implies the accessibility of private educational environment. 3. This also means that the index for harmful educational environment is defined according to how such an environment or a facility as specified by the Basic School Act is distributed around the home or school and refers to the educational viability of such a facility. From this point of view, the present study is significant because it discovers different features in terms of educational environment patterns among each regions of Cheongju city and offers a methodology that enables reciprocal comparison between regional cities and cities found in the greater Seoul area, provincial cities and cities in the greater Seoul area, and two separate districts in the same capital city.

        기후변화정책 우선순위 연구

        This study aims to analyze the priority of regional climate change policy utilizing AHP (analytic hierarchy process) at the area of Metropolitan City of Incheon. It derives four factors at first hierarchical level, at which level the analysis of pair wise comparison indicates that industrial sector, energy sector, climate change response, and green culture policy are considered important in that order. It also ends up with sixteen factors at second level. The result of comparison analysis between all factors reveals that investment promotion in green technology R&D is considered the most significant factor of all, followed by establishment of green enterprise support system, electricity-efficiency enhancement support project and build-up of green culture policy governance. The result implies that diverse promotional policies have to incorporate business, institutional, and cultural aspects for sustainable climate change policy of regions. The contribution of this study is that it highlights the need to include regional characteristics in deciding priority among policy options for them to be effective.

        Spontaneous uterine rupture is a rare occurrence, but a catastrophic obstetric complication, associated with high rates of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. Clinicians should make a prompt diagnosis and management in patients presenting with acute abdominal pain, hypovolemic shock, and fetal compromise. We present a case of spontaneous complete rupture of uterus during early labor in term pregnancy after laparoscopic radiofrequency myolysis.

        간세포암 환자의 혈청 Des -γ - Carboxy Prothrombin , Alpha - Fetoprotein 및 Anti - p53 항체검사의 유용성

        Background/Aims: Des-γ-carboxy prothrombin (DCP) and α-FP have been used for diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Recently, anti-p53 antibodies have been detected in sera of the patients with cancer. The diagnostic significance of the combination assay of DCP, α-FP, and anti-p53 antibodies was evaluated in patients with HCC. Methods: For 78 cases of HCC, 17 cases of liver cirrhosis, 32 cases of chronic hepatitis, and 23 healthy controls, the serum levels of DCP, α-FP and anti-p53 antibodies were measured by enzyme immunoassay. Their sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were also assessed. Results: In patients with HCC, the sensitivity of DCP and α-FP was 52.9% and 66.7%, which were significantly higher than 7.7% of anti-p53 antibodies. In detecting HCC, the specificity of DCP, α-FP and anti-p53 antibodies was 91.8%, 89.8% and 98.0%, and their accuracy was 69.2%, 75.8% and 45.2%, respectively. No correlation was found among three tumor markers. The sensitivity and accuracy in the combination assay of DCP, α-FP and anti-p53, and in that of DCP and α-FP were higher than in assay of each tumor marker or other combination, especially in small sized HCC. Conclusions: A combination assay of DCP, α-FP, and anti-p53 antibodies and a combination assay of DCP and α-FP are useful for diagnosis or early detection of HCC, but the diagnostic usefulness of anti-p53 antibodies is still uncertain because of its low sensitivity.         퍼지 슬라이딩 모드의 속도 향상을 위한 제어기 설계

        본 논문에서는 두 개의 시스템으로 구성된 적응 퍼지 슬라이딩 모드 제어기의 설계를 제안한다. 제안한 슬라이딩 모드 제어기는 두 개의시스템입력으로 구성된다. 기존의 슬라이딩 모드 제어기는 approximationu(t)에 불연속항 sgn함수나 sat함수를 추가하여 상태궤적을 sliding surface로 보내는 제어 기법을 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 기존의 제어기에 또 하나의 불연속항 제어기를 추가하여 불확실한 제어 이득에 의한 disturbance를 줄여주고, 불확실한 외란에 강인한 제어기설계와 알지 못하는 실제 비선형 시스템과 퍼지 시스템 간의 오차에 의한 불안정성도 해결할 수 있는 제어기를 제안하였다. 또한 본 논문에서는 Fuzzy tuning을 통해 슬라이딩 조건을 가변화함으로써 기존의 슬라이딩 모드 제어기에 비해 빠르고 정확하게 추종 가능하도록 제어기의 성능을 향상시킨다. 기존의 슬라이딩 모드 제어방식에서는 ŋ값을 임의의 양의 상수로 두고 설계를 하였다. 하지만 이러한 방식은 높은 overshoot를 발생하게 하거나 늦은 정정시간을 갖게 하였다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 state의 각 상황에 맞는 ŋ값을 fuzzy tuning을 통하여 유도해 내어 overshoot를 줄이며 동시에 정정시간도 줄여 제어성능을 높이는 방법을 제안한다. In this paper, the adaptive fuzzy sliding mode controller with two systems is designed. The existing sliding mode controller used to approximation u(t) with discrete sgn function and sat function for keeping the state trajectories on the sliding surface[1]. The proposed controller decrease the disturbance for uncertain control gain and This paper is concerned with an Adaptive Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control(AFSMC) that the fuzzy systems are used to approximate the unknown functions of nonlinear system. In the adaptive fuzzy system, we adopt the adaptive law to approximate the dynamics of the nonlinear plant and to adjust the parameters of AFSMC. The stability of the suggested control system is proved via Lyapunov stability theorem, and convergence and robustness properties are demonstrated. Futhermore, fuzzy tuning improve tracking abilities by changing some sliding conditions. In the traditional sliding mode control, ŋ is a positive constant. The increase of ŋ has led to a significant decrease in the rise time. However, this has resulted in higher overshoot. Therefore the proposed ŋ tuning AFSMC improve the performances, so that the controller can track the trajectories faster and more exactly than ordinary controller. The simulation results demonstrate that the performance is improved and the system also exhibits stability.
