일부지역 치과위생사의 감염관리 실천 관련요인

This study was conducted in order to assess the cognition and the practice of infection control among dental hygienists, as well as to investigate factors influencing their practice of infection control. Between July 2011 to August 2011, 216 dental hygienists working in the Busan and South Gyeongsang Province region were included as subjects of the survey research. The average of the cognition was 4.36 ± 0.44. The order was as follows (descending): managements of medical wastes, personal protective equipments, disinfection and sterilization of instrument, managements of environments, and hand washing. The average of the practicing was 4.00 ± 0.52. The order was as follows (descending): management of medical wastes, disinfection and sterilization of instrument, personal protective equipments, hand washing, and managements of environments. Factors influencing the actual practice of infection control were included the followings: the awareness of infection control, the workload of dental hygienists, numbers of dentists, and the presence of infection control manuals in the clinic. Based on this study, to improve dental hygienists' level of practicing infection control. 본 연구는 치과위생사의 감염관리 인지도와 실천도를 조사하고, 치과위생사의 감염관리 실천에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 부산과 경상남도 지역에서 근무하는 치과위생사 216명을 대상으로 2011년 7월부터 8월까지 설문조사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 치과감염관리에 대한 인지도는 평균 4.36±0.44이었으며 의료폐기물관리, 개인보호장구, 기구의 소독과 멸균, 기구 및 장비감염방지 관리, 손씻기 영역의 순서로 높게 나타났다. 실천도는 평균 4.00±0.52로서 의료폐기물관리, 기구의 소독과 멸균, 개인보호장구, 손씻기, 기구 및 장비 감염방지 관리영역의 순서로 높게 나타났다. 치과감염관리 실천도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 감염관리 인지도, 총 근무경력, 치과의사 수, 감염관리 지침서 등 이었다. 감염관리의 전체 인지도에 비해 실천도가 낮은 것으로 조사 되어 치과위생사의 감염관리 실천도 향상을 위해서는 치과의사 수가 작은 치과의원에 대해 지속적이고 주기적인 감염관리 교육을 시행하여 인지도를 높여야 한다.

Antibiotic Effects of a Natural Extracts Mouthwash

Objective: Oral mouthwash is widely used in effective management of periodontal disease prevention, plaque removal, and bad breath removal. Commercially available oral mouthwash is a chemical substance that is likely to cause side effects, and significant research on natural substances is being conducted. In this study, a safe natural extracts mouthwash was developed and compared with Listerine, which has the largest market share, to confirm antibacterial activity. Methods: In order to evaluate the antibacterial effects of natural mouthwash Natura-A, a natural extracts extracted from 30 kinds of plants and aquatic products, with the positive control Listerine, oral samples of 10 college students in their 20s for each group were analyzed using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique for strain and concentration of 18 species of oral bacteria. Results: The antibacterial effects of Listerine and Natura-A against Agregatibacter actinomytans, Tannerella forsythia, Treponema denticola, Parvimonas micra, Campylobacter rectus, Eubacterium nodatum, Eikenella corrodens, Streptococcus mutans., Streptoccuc sobrinus, Lactobacillus casei, Staphylococcus aureus, Enteroccus faecalis, and Actinomyces viscosus apeared to be excellent. For Prevotella intermedia, Prevotella nigrescens, Streptococcus mitis, Fusobacterium nucletum, and Porphyromonas gingivals showed good antibacterial action. Conclusion: We suggest that Natura-A has an excellent inhibitory effect on oral microbes compared to Listerine and then that this natural extracts mouthwash can be used effectively to prevent oral diseases including dental caries and periodontal diseases safely in the long term without side effects.

오픈소스 하드웨어와 RGB 카메라를 이용한 낙상 검출 시스템

As the recent aging society progresses rapidly, incidence of falling in the elderly has emerged as a major issue in our society. According to the investigation, the falls account for the highest proportion among accidents occurred to the elderly and more than 50% have occurred at home. With the increased rate of elderly people living alone, the incidence of accidents caused by falls is expected to be higher. In this paper, the method is proposed to identify a fall by using RGB camera and open-source hardware. The 2D bounding box was set to the silhouette of a person obtained through the difference image, and falls were identified depending on changes of the 2D bounding box. According to the experiment results, this method showed 96.3% fall detection and 98.03% accuracy of this paper.

소방공무원의 업무요인에 따른 구강건강관련 삶의 질

Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the oral health related quality of life according to work factors of firefighters in Korea. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 270 firefighters in Changwon, Gimhae, and Ulsan from June 27 to July 24, 2011 after receiving informed consent. The questionnaire consisted of 5 questions of general characteristics of the subjects, 6 questions of job-related characteristics, and 14 questions of oral health related quality of life(OHIP-14). Data analysis was performed with reliability test, descriptive analysis, t-test, analysis of variance(ANOVA) and multiple regression analysis using SAS(version 9.2) program. Results: The score of oral health related quality of life in firefighters was 10.1±8.0. The scores of subscale of the oral health quality of life were 2.4±1.5 in physical pain, 1.8±1.5 in psychological discomfort, 1.5±1.5 in physical disability, 1.4±1.5 in functional limitation, 1.3±1.4 psychological disability, 0.9±1.3 in handicap, and 0.7±1.3 in social disability. The related factors of oral health quality of life in firefighters were rank(p=0.016) and the frequency of daily mobilization(p=0.029). Conclusions: Oral health related quality of life in firefighters was relatively in good condition. For the better oral health related quality of life in firefighters, it is important to establish the continuing oral health promotion program for those who have irregular job characteristics and job intensity.

카메라와 관성 센서를 이용한 골프 스윙 분석 시스템

With the development of the IT industry and the revitalization of the golf industry, the population enjoying golf is increasing. Therefore, interest in golf swing posture analysis and diagnosis is increasing to improve golf ability and prevent injury caused by wrong swing. In this paper, we propose a golf swing analysis method using a camera and inertial sensor. The users golf club head trajectory is tracked using a camera that provides high frames and the inertial sensor is attached to the left hand to extract hand motion information during a golf swing. The proposed method not only allows intuitive analysis of the swing through the image, but also analyzes the hand trajectory, hand angle, and swing tempo. As a result of experiment using 8 golf swing images and inertial sensor data, it was confirmed that the user can analyze the tracking of the golf club head and the movement of the hand.

초등학교 자연과 수업의 문화기술적 분석

For a profound understanding about the question of $quot;What is the status of Science Instruction in a Korean Elementary School?$quot;, I have performed this study based on the teacher and student's opinion for the science instruction, and teacher's opinion for the several models of instruction by using ethnographic analysis method. I also analyzed process of science instruction, and compared analyzed results with the models of instruction exhibited in teacher's guides using the analyzing method developed by Yong-Suk Lee(1988). The ethnographic analysis method that used in this study is one part of the qualitative study which has the purpose of understanding about the several aspects of human activities and its interactions. I used several well known qualitative study methods including $quot;Observation with Participation,$quot; $quot;Profound Interview,$quot; and $quot;Reference Survey.$quot; To perform this study, I selected one elementary school located in Choong-Buk Province in Korea and studied for every grade. Here, I present results of this study as follow. 1. Though some teachers understand the importance of science education well, they are reluctant to teach it because the burden of science class preparation is much greater than of other subjects. However, many teachers look trying to induce the participation of student based on prepared materials and observing carefully the students' activities in science class. Interestingly, most of students regarded the science class as a subject of many activities, and generally, they tend to show more interest when they can participate in science class actively. 2. I have detected several constant developed processes that take place in science class. In this report, I have summarized some of important common processes in science class. For the first and second grades, I have observed two main process, $quot;Investigation→Statement of Investigation Results$quot; in the Wise Life class. For the third grade, I have summarized the process of instruction as $quot;Free Investigation→Investigation Guided by Teacher→Statement and Summarization of Investigation Results.$quot; I have found that the proportion of experiment for the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades is greater than the lower grades. Based on this change, I have summarized common steps ; $quot;Experimental Activity→Statement of Experimental Results$quot; for the fourth grade, $quot;Design of Experiment→Establishment of Hypothesis→Experimental Activity→Verification of Hypothesis$quot; for the fifth grade, $quot;Establishment of Hypothesis→Design of Experiment→Experimental Activity→Verification of Hypothesis→Application$quot; for the sixth grade. 3. Finally, I have divided the process of science instruction into three main steps : $quot;Introduction, Development, and Fixation.$quot; At the introduction step, I have detected $quot;Introduction Activity of Motivation,$quot; $quot;Reminding Activity of Previous Class,$quot; and $quot;Presentation Activity of Learning Goal.$quot; At the development step, I have found two main activities as namely $quot;Investigation Activity$quot; and $quot;Experimental Activity$quot; the latter of which increases according to grade levels. At the final fixation step, I have observed two principal activities, $quot;Summarization Activity of Class$quot; by using audiovisual materials or teacher's explanation, and $quot;Prior Announcement Activity of Coming Class.$quot;

치위생(학)과 졸업예정자들의 자아탄력성과 진로결정자기효능감이 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence graduating students of the dental hygiene department in terms of the effect of their ego resilience and career decision-making self-efficacy on job-seeking stress. Methods: A survey was conducted from October 05, 2022, to October 12, 2022, targeting 163 graduating dental hygiene students at three schools in Busan. The data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, and stepwise multiple linear regression analysis. Results: Among the identified factors that cause job-seeking stress, career decision-making self-efficacy (β=-0.423, p<0.001), school system (β=-0.320, p<0.05), and subjective health status (β=-0.253, p<0.05) were found to be statistically significant. Conclusions: The results of this study indicate that concerted efforts are required to develop a variety of programs that can increase career decision-making self-efficacy and, in turn, reduce job-seeking stress.

보행자 시점에 따른 가로경관평가에 관한 연구

Korea have a rapid urbanization by economic growth after 1960. But, physical growth of city makes a ignorance of the quality of amenity increase. Recently, on that reason lots of studies and recognitions of street landscape problem was made, but there's lack of studying it as a view point of pedestrian who use and feel street actually. This study have the following method. One, Street landscape is divided into 2 parts. One is street inside landscape(type I) that pedestrians walk along and watch and the other is street across landscape(type II). Second, we choose business street area where most citizens work and live their most time. And we analyze psychology factor, components of the street landscape, attributes of the components and visual preference. This study provides fundamental information about street landscape estimate and management by "when pedestrian estimate street landscape, what kind of mental factor and street landscape components give an influence on street characteristic and viewpoint? and what kind of components give an influence on each of street landscape component".
