        임플란트 주위염 치료시 치아회분말과 치과용 연석고의 혼합 매식의 골재생 효과

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate histomorphometrically a toothash - plaster of Paris mixture associated with collagen membrane ($Bio-Gide^{(R)}$), regarding new bone formation in the peri-implantitis defects in dogs. Three mandibular molars were removed from 1-year-old mongrel dogs. After 2 months of healing, 2 titanium implants with sandblasted with large grit and acid etched (SLA) surface were installed in each side of the mandible. Experimental peri-implantitis was induced with ligatures after successful osseointegration. Ligatures were removed after identification of bone defect beneath the level of 5th thread of fixture on radiographic image. The mucoperiosteal flaps were elevated and the contaminated fixtures were treated with chlorhexidine and saline. The bone defects were assigned to one of the following treatments: no guided bone regeneration (GBR) procedure (group 1), GBR with Bio-$Oss^{(R)}$ and Bio-$Gide^{(R)}$ (group 2), or GBR with toothash - plaster of Paris mixture (TPM) and Bio-$Gide^{(R)}$ (group 3). The dogs were sacrificed after 8 or 16 months. The mean percentages of new bone formation within the limits of the 5 most coronal threads were $17.83{\pm}10.69$ (8 weeks) and $20.13{\pm}13.65$ (16 weeks) in group 1, $34.25{\pm}13.32$ (8 weeks) and $36.33{\pm}14.21$ (16 weeks) in group 2, and $46.33{\pm}18.39$ (8 weeks) and $48.00{\pm}17.78$ (16 weeks) in group 3, respectively. The present study confirmed statistically considerable new bone formation within the threads in group 3 compared with group 1 at 8 and 16 weeks (P<0.05). Although, data analysis did not reveal significant differences between group 2 and 3, the latter showed better results during the period of 8 or 16 weeks. Our findings support the effectiveness of TPM as a GBR material in the treatment of peri-implantitis bone defect.

        아쿠아로빅스 운동이 폐경기 중년 비만여성의 혈중지질 및 심박변이도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of aquarobics exercise targeting post menopausal middle-aged obese women on the blood lipids, and heart rate variability(HRV). The object of this study consists of 27 post menopausal middle-aged obese women of aquarobics group(n=13) and control group(n=14). The blood lipids, and HRV of the objects were measured after aquarobics exercise. Repeated two-way measured ANOVA was conducted to verify the effect of the test. In case of interaction, simple effect analyses were conducted to check significance of the main effect. The significance of differences within a group was confirmed by paired t-test. The significance level was set at p〈.05. In changes of blood lipids, total cholesterol(TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), Triglyceride (TG) showed an interaction effect between groups and durations of exercise(p〈.01). In changes of HRV, interaction effects were seen in total power(TP), very low frequency(VLF) between groups and durations of exercise(p〈.01). Likewise, this study showed that aquarobics exercise of post menopausal middle-aged obese women resulted in positive changes and had effects on keeping improvement of blood lipids. In addition, the study results showed that activated HRV by aquarobics exercise helped maintenance of balance in an autonomic nervous system and this is considered to help the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

        피트니스와 웰빙에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라 웨어러블 기기에 대한 수요가 높아지는 요즘, 스마트 워치의 PPG 센서의 정확도를 높이는 것은 주요 문제 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 조건에서 스마트 워치의 PPG 센서 정확도를 ECG 센서 값과의 비교를 통해 측정한다. As interest in fitness and well-being increases, demand for wearable devices increases, and increasing the accuracy of PPG sensors in smartwatches is one of the main problems. In this paper, the PPG sensor accuracy of the smartwatch is measured through comparison with the ECG sensor value under various conditions.

        파크골프운동이 노인여성의 대사증후군 위험요인 및 혈중지질에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of park golf exercise the elderly participate in with the nature on risk factor of metabolic syndrome and blood lipids of elderly women. The subjects were 19 elderly women aged 65 and older had the park golf exercise and simple games for 80 minutes, 3 times a week for 12 weeks, and risk factor of metabolic syndrome and blood lipids were measured. To analyze the study data, SPSS/PC version 22 was used to calculate the mean and standard deviation, and dependent t-test was analyzed to verify the results. The statistical significance level was p<.05. After the park golf exercise, statistically significant differences were found in waist circumference, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, triglyceride, and low density lipoprotein(p<.05). Although no statistical differences were not shown, diastolic blood pressure and fasting blood glucose showed a decreasing pattern after the park golf exercise. The high density lipoprotein did not show a statistical difference as well, but showed an increasing pattern. The park golf exercise decreases metabolic syndrome risk factors and blood lipids of elderly women, and recommended as a non-drug exercise treatment. In addition, the park golf exercise is thought to have positive effect socially and nationally on cardiovascular system, prevention of metabolic diseases and treatment of elderly women.

        노르딕 워킹이 비만청소년의 혈중지질, 성장호르몬, 인슐린유사 성장인자-1에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of 10-week Nordic walking on blood lipids, growth hormone, and IGF-1 of obese adolescents. The subjects of the study were a total of 21 male obese adolescents whose body fat percentage is 30% or more, including exercise group (9 subjects) and control group (12 subjects). With the collected data, the mean and standard deviation for variables related to blood lipids and growth hormone were calculated. To test the difference between groups, two-way ANOVA was conducted by repeated measurement. When analyzing the result of the study, triglyceride and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol did not show significant differences between groups and times, but showed significant differences in the interaction between time and group (p<.05). The growth hormone did not show significant difference between groups and times, but showed a significant difference in the interaction between time and group (p<.05). In terms of IGF-1, s tatistically s ignificant differences was found between groups and times (p<.01), and a statistically significant difference was also found in the interaction between time and group (p<.05). Therefore, it was found that Nordic walking had positive effects on blood lipids, growth hormone, and IGF-1 of obese adolescents. Nordic walking should be highly recommended for resolving obesity of men and women of all ages in the future.

        에너지 음료 섭취가 엘리트 태권도 선수의 코티졸 및 세로토닌에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of energy drink intake before exercise on cortisol and serotonin of elite Taekwondo athletes as elite athletes have a lot of stresses due to burden for matches and weight loss. A total of 18 male Taekwondo athletes (9 athletes for non-intake group and 9 athletes for intake group) had 90-minutes training 6 times a week for 8 weeks. To analyze the difference between the 2 groups before and after the intake, two-way ANOVA with repeated measure was performed. When looking at the change of cortisol, the main effect of time (p<.001) and interaction between time and group (p<.05) were shown. A statistical significant difference was shown before and after the intake in the groups with and without energy drink intake (p<.05). In terms of the change of serotonin, no statistically significant difference was found, but the serotonin was increased after intake of energy drink in the group with energy drink intake. The intake of energy drink 60 minutes before exercise is thought to help decrease stresses generated in training as it improves secretion of serotonin and cortisol of elite athletes who have high intensity training. However, caffeine increase vital level to offset the decreased effect of cortisol generated by exercise effect.

        노인여성의 활동체력 평가 및 지표 개발

        본 연구는 노인여성의 활동체력을 평가하고 지표를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 대상자는 경기도 S시에 거주하는 65-69세 48명, 70-74세 43명, 75-79세 16명의 노인여성 총107명이다. 노인여성의 연령증가에 따른 체격 및 신체구성의 변화는 70-74세 연령이 75-79세 연령보다 높았고, 65-69세 연령이 70-74세 연령보다 높았다. 활동체력을 확인하기 위하여 일상생활체력 10항목을 측정하고 비교 평가 하였다. 비교 평가 결과 일상생활체력 10항목 중 8항목에서 연령 증가에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p< .05). 또한 추출된 활동체력은 주성분 분석을 통해 상관행렬을 나타내었다. 상관행렬에서의 제 1 주성분을 활동체력으로 정의 하였다. 노인여성의 추출된 인자구조 분석은 직교회전을 하였다. 3 요소가 활동체력과 관련: 지구력, 움직임, 유연성, 균형성, 근력, 민첩성, 그리고 반응시간으로 선정되었으며, 활동체력의 추정 식은 중 회귀 분석을 사용 하여 작성하였다. 연구 결과 활동체력의 회귀 식은 0.148X<sub>1</sub>-0.005X<sub>2</sub>+0.010X3-5.687로 작성되었으며 R<sup>2</sup> 값은 .556이며 독립변수로서 X<sub>1</sub>=패그보드(num/30sec), X<sub>2</sub>=눈뜨고 외발서기(sec), X<sub>3</sub>=앉아서 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기(cm)가 선정되었다, 한편 활동체력 3항목을 포함한 회귀식은 예상 활동체력과 비슷했다. 모든 분석은 안정성, 측정의 실용성을 바탕으로 구성 하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구에서 작성된 추정 식이 노인 대상자의 활동 체력을 평가하는데 상당한 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of this study was to investigate activity-based fitness level of elderly women living in Kyunggi province. The subjects were elderly women(n=107) from age 65 to 79 years old. Ten items related to the activity-based fitness were measured for determining. Extract activity-based fitness the principal component analysis was applied to the correlation matrix. The first principal component was interpreted as activity-based fitness. Analyze the factorial structures of these elderly women, extracted factors were rotated with normal varimax criterion. The activity-based fitness were related to 3 factors: endurance, movement, flexibility, balance, muscular strength, agility, and reaction time. The presumption equations of activity-based fitness were developed using multiple regression analyses. Activity based fitness=0.148X<sub>1</sub>-0.005X<sub>2</sub>+0.010X<sub>3</sub>-5.687 with an R<sup>2</sup>=.556 where X1=Main pulsating pegs in a pegboard(num/30sec), X<sub>2</sub>=One leg balance with eyes open(sec), X<sub>3</sub>=Sit and reach(cm), which can predict activity-based fitness level with highly in elderly women. The Results indicated that 3 selected items from 3 factors were significant predictors of the dependent variable. Equally was that activity-based fitness 3 items could be excluded, while comparable in prediction activity-based fitness. On the basis of all analyses and considering the safety, there would be that the prediction equation for activity-based fitness would be applicable and recommended for highly elderly population in Korea.

        처음 진단받은 여성 유방암 환자와 갑상선암 환자에서 나타나는 불안, 우울 및 불면 증상

        Objectives In this study, we identified the symptoms of insomnia, anxiety, and depressed mood in newly diagnosed women breast and thyroid cancer patients. Methods The subjects of this study were 1794 women patients who visited the Ewha Womans University Cancer Center for Women. They included 1119 newly diagnosed primary breast cancer patients and 675 newly diagnosed primary thyroid cancer patients. The patients completed the National Cancer Center Psychological Symptom Inventory (NCC-PSI) during their first follow-up visit after surgery, before starting chemotherapy or radiotherapy. The NCC-PSI is composed of the modified distress thermometer (MDT) and the modified impact thermometer (MIT) for insomnia, anxiety, and depressed mood. Results Anxiety severity was found to be greater in breast cancer patients than in thyroid cancer patients. Significant levels of anxiety, depressed mood and insomnia were present in 28, 24.5, and 20.7% in all the subjects, respectively. Moreover, anxiety symptoms, depressed mood and insomnia interfered with the daily lives of 20, 18.4, and 14.2% of all the subjects, respectively. Dealing with anxiety (18.8%) was found to need the most help, followed by dealing with insomnia (8.9%) and depressed mood (8.7%). Conclusions A significant level of distress was found in about 40% of the total subjects. Nearly 30% of newly diagnosed breast cancer patients reported significant anxiety symptoms and interferences with daily living caused by anxiety, which most commonly needed special care. Early assessment and management of psychological distress, especially anxiety, in breast and thyroid cancer treatment are very important to establish integrated cancer care.
