현재 건설되고 있는 호남고속철도에 공급되는 드로퍼 클램프는 균압방식을 적용한 제품으로, 기존의 드로퍼 와이어가 접속되는 방식과 달리 콤팩트하고 단순한 구조로 경량화되어 400km/hr의 고속주행에 적합하도록 개발되었다. 개발된 균압용 드로퍼 클램프는 철도용품 공단규격서의 규정된 요구성능을 모두 만족하는 제품이다. 균압용 드로퍼 클램프는 기계적 특성은 물론, 조가선과 전차선의 전기적인 균압특성도 상당히 중요한 특성이다. 본 논문에서는 드로퍼 클램프 규격에서 정한 200만회의 진동피로시험을 한 시료와 일반시료들에 대하여 전류통전특성 및 저항 특성 등의 성능평가시험을 통하여 균압특성에 대한 신뢰성을 확인하였다. The dropper clamp supplied to Honam high-speed railway being constructed at present is designed based on pressure equalization method, is compact, light-weighted and simple in structure unlike conventional dropper connected with dropper wire, and developed suitable for velocity of 400 km/h. The equalizing dropper clamp developed this time meet all the requirements specified in the specification of Korea Rail Network Authority. For the equalizing dropper clamp, mechanical as well as electrical pressure equalization characteristics of the messenger and contact wires is very important. In this paper, the reliability of the pressure equalization characteristics has been determined through performance evaluation tests such as current carrying characteristics, resistance characteristics, etc. for the normal specimens and the specimens which already passed the 2,000,000 times of vibration fatigue test as per specification of the dropper clamp.

At present Kyungbu high-speed railway is operated with 300km/h Honam high-speed railway is being constructed with 350km/h and the development for the overhead contact line system is to be conducted for the next-generation high-speed railway with the speed of 400km/h. It is necessary to set up the specification and criteria for the key parts such as dropper termination clamp and tension insulator for the 400km/h railway line. In this paper the specification and the criteria for dropper termination clamp and tension insulator has been reviewed and proposed in order to secure long-term reliability and stability under the maximum speed of 400km/h. Also the specification criteria and international standards for 300km/h class and 350km/h class railway line system and the international standards related with the insulators have been reviewed compared and analysed.

A study on Technical Specifications of the current collection system in G7 Korean High Speed Train Project is performed in this paper. First, an appropriate level of contact wire tension for 350 ㎞/h commercial operation is proposed based on the foreign high speed train operation experiences and a relevant technical criterion. Second, two optimized design specifications of the pantograph for G7 Korean High Speed Train are proposed based on current collection quality. In order to perform design optimization, a formulation on the follow-up characteristics of a pantograph with 3 levels of masse-spring-damper is derived in this paper. Dynamic design parameters of the pantograph are adjusted to maximize follow-up capability at the dropper and span passing frequencies.

The pulley-type tensioning device subjected to a maximum tension of 34 kN has been developed for 400 km/h high-speed railway. The tensioning device is to maintain the tension variation within 3% of the normal value, irregardless of temperature changes. Field tests shows that the tensioning device had a variation of tension which was as small as 0.6% as temperatures changed from –5 ~ 7℃. Along with the tensions, we measured its X and Y movements due to the temperature changes. Based on a combination of its X and Y movements, we proposed a new performance index with which we can see if the tensioning device has troubles in operation without tension measurements.

Patients with failed back surgery syndrome complain of repeated low back pain and lower extremity radiating pain after spine surgery. Patients with failed back surgery syndrome feel pain for a variety of causes. Patients do not respond well to conservative treatment. In addition, pain relief may be difficult with epidural block. We report a case of relieving pain by performing erector spinae plane block on the lumbar spine in patients with failed back surgery syndrome, This report suggests that erector spinae plane block may be a good alternative for patients with failed back surgery syndrome who are not responding to other therapies.
전기철도의 전차선로 형상검측을 위한 광학기반 검측 장치 구현

We propose an optical-based measuring instrument of catenary system in electric railway. This system was made to utilize line scan camera as inspecting system to measure the stagger and height of overhead contact wire in railway and composed with optical type source and FPGA-based image acquisition system with PCI slot. Vision acquisition software has been used for the application to programming interface for image acquisition, display, and storage with a frequency of sampling. To check the validity of our approach for the intended application, we monitored height and stagger in the overhead wire of a high-speed catenary system in Korea. The proposed optical-based measuring instrument to measure the contact wire geometry such as the hight and stagger shows promising on-field applications for online condition motoring. We expect that a new generation of real-time instruments with demanding various conditions motoring requirement in railway can be easily integrated into optical-based measuring instrument system.

This paper reports on measurement method for the fiber optic strain monitoring of overhead contact line systems of trains, We used FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating) sensors to measure the strain variation of overhead contact line. FBG sensors can sensitively measure the variation of strain and! or temperature by the shift wavelength of reflected wave according to the lattice variation during the measurement. FBG sensor were attached on the contact line and connected to the monitoring system with optical fibers. The monitering system with FBG sensors showed very good sensitivity to measuring strain variation and this system could be applied to the overhead contact line of KTX (Korea Train eXpress).
