The objective of this study is to fabricate a piezoelectric composite consisting of a piezoelectric ceramic and a high toughness material and to evaluate their electromechanical properties for high force actuator applications. The mixture of the piezoelectric material, PMNZT, and high toughness material, ZrO₂, exhibited high piezoelectric properties as well as good mechanical fracture resistance. Up to 2 vol% of ZrO₂ in PMNZT matrix, piezoelectric d33 coefficient was above 400 pC/N, being 80% of that for the original PMNZT, and the toughness showed twice of the PMNZT. When the volume fraction of the ZrO₂ was above 5%, however, the piezoelectric coefficient became abruptly decreased and it approached 20% of value for the PMNZT.

유학은 ‘관계성의 철학’이라고 할 수 있다. 유학은 타자와의 관계 속에서 인간 본성을 확인한다. 그리고 타자와 관계를 맺는 것에 대한 기본적인 수칙은 바로 서(恕)이다. 그러나 조선 유학은 이 서의 황금률을 위배하고 어린이와 여성과 같은 사회적 약자들을 억압하였다. 그것의 명분은 ‘예(禮)’였고, 이 ‘예’는 국가적 권력을 수반한 강제였기에 거역할 수 없는 절대적 압력이었다. 그리고 이 ‘예(禮)’의 내면화 과정은 『소학』을 통해 이루어졌다. 『소학』이 강조하는 ‘쇄소응대’의 ‘소절’ 교육은 ‘도덕의 신체화’의 측면보다 ‘권력의 내면화’ 측면이 더 강하다. 『소학』은 의복과 몸짓, 말투, 눈빛, 낯빛 등의 소절을 습관화하도록 교육하는데, 이것들은 권력의 역학 관계를 드러내주는 사회적 약호체계의 성격을 갖는다. 그래서 그것의 기능은 윤리적 기능(ethical function)이나 교감적 기능(phatic function)보다는 수직적 권력 관계에서의 ‘사회 통제 기능’의 성격이 더 강하다. 더구나 『소학』의 교육은 상호 호혜적인 것이 아니라, 어린아이와 여성에게 요구하는 일방적인 것이었다. 이는 가부장적 이데올로기를 구축하기 위한 가학적인 윤리였고 억압이었다. 특히 여성에 대해 가학적이었다. 『소학』은 관계에 바탕을 두고 관계를 지향하는 수신(修身)의 텍스트이지만, 그 관계는 존중과 배려의 관계가 아니고 수신은 자율적 도덕훈련이 아니다. 관계는 상하(上下)의 수직적 관계이고 수신은 그 권력 관계를 내면화시키는 훈련이다. 『소학』은 조선 유학의 규율 권력이었던 것이다. Confucianism is known as a "philosophy of relationships." Confucianism recognizes human essence via interactions with others. And the fundamental guideline for forming relationships with people is Shu(恕). However, Confucianism in Joseon dynasty broke this golden rule by oppressing the socially disadvantaged, such as children and women. Its justification was Li(禮), and this was an absolute pressure that could not be rejected since it was a national power obligation. And this internalization of Li(禮) was accomplished by 『Xiao-xue(小學)』. However, in terms of ‘Xiaojie(小節, petty manners)’ education, such as ‘Sa Sao Yingdui(灑掃應對, swethe courtyard)’, which is stressed in 『Xiao-xue(小學)』, it is ‘the internalization of power’ rather than ‘embodied morality.’ 『Xiao-xue(小學)』 educates individuals to habituate ‘Xiaojie(小節)’ such as dress, gestures, tone of voice, eyes, and facial rules, which have the characteristics of a social code that discloses power dynamics. As a result, its function in vertical power relationships is more akin to a ‘social control function’ than an ethical or phatic one. Furthermore, the Li(禮) of 『Xiao-xue(小學)』 was not mutually helpful, but rather one-sided, demanding of children and women. It was a sadistic ethic and oppression to build a patriarchal ideology. It was especially cruel to women. 『Xiao-xue(小學)』 is a text of Xiushen(修身, cultivation of the self) that is built on relationship and seeks for relationship with others, but the relationship is not one of respect and regard, and Xiushen(修身) is not an autonomous moral training. The relationship is vertical relationships and Xiushen(修身) is training to internalize those power relationships. 『Xiao-xue(小學)』 was the disciplinary power of Confucianism in Joseon.
적층형 세라믹 압전 액추에이터의 전계강도와 압축응력에 따른 변위특성 해석

The effects of electric field strength and mechanical compressive stress on the displacement of multilayered ceramic actuator, stacked alternatively 0.2 (PbM $n_{1}$3/N $b_{2}$3/ $O_3$)-0.8(PbZ $r_{0.475}$ $Ti_{0.525}$ $O_3$) ceramic thin films and 70Ag-30Pd electrodes were investigated. Because the actuators were designed to stack ceramic layer and electrode layer alternatively, the ceramic-electrode interfaces may act as a resistance to motion of domain wall. so the polarization and strain were affected by the amount of 180$^{\circ}$domain, electric field strength and mechanical compressive stress. Consequently, the change of polarization, displacement with respect to field strength, and mechanical compressive stress were likely to be caused by readiness of the domain wall movement around the ceramic-electrode interfaces.ces.
적층형 PMN-PZT 세라믹 압전 액추에이터의 열화특성

Aging phenomena of 0.2PMN-0.8PZT multilayered ceramic actuators(MCA) have been investigated at the room temperature. The piezoelectric materials were synthesized as conventional ceramic process, and MCA were fabricatedby tape casting methods. The crystalline structures and lattice parameters were investigated by X-ray diffraction analysis, showing the structure was tetragonal and c/a was about 1.01. And, the effective electromechanical coupling coefficient keff and pseudo-piezoelectric constant $d_{33}$were measured. Variable unipolar electric fields, $2{\sim}4kV/mm$, were applied to MCh to investigate the aging characteristics. After 2 kV/mm unipolar electric field, keff and $d_{33}$ were 0.454 and 4.44 respectively. The measured and simulated values using for aging phenomena analysis, had a good fit to the linear logarithmic stretched exponential law.

Dense $0.95(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3-0.05LiTaO_3$ (NKN-5LT) ceramics were developed by conventional sintering process. Sintering temperature was lowered by adding $Na_2CO_3$ as a sintering aid. The electrical properties of NKN-5LT ceramics were investigated as a function of $Na_2CO_3$ concentration. When the sample sintered at $1000^{\circ}C$ for 4 h with the addition of 1 mol% $Na_2CO_3$, electro-mechanical coupling factor $(k_p)$ and piezoelectric coefficient $(d_{33})$ of NKN-5LT ceramics were found to reach the highest values of 0.43 and 190 pC/N, respectively.

In this study, the piezoelectric energy harvester was investigated employing the pillar structure with the diameter size of 50~500 um. Usually, the aspect ratio between the height and diameter was related with the piezoelectric performance. High aspect ratio was showed the low electric noise and high piezoelectric properties than low aspect ratio. Therefore, we have selected the Su-8 photo-resist and modified lithography process to manufacture the pillar structure with height above the 250 ${\mu}m$. In this presentation, we will report the process and properties of micro pillar structure based on the PMN-PZT (Pb$(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$-PbZrTiO$_3$) materials.
비납계 Bi<sub>0.5</sub>Na<sub>0.5</sub>의 강유전 및 압전 특성에 미치는 Nb-doping 효과

Nb was doped to Pb-free $(Bi_{0.5}Na_{0.5})TiO_3$ (BNT) by a solid state mixing process to form $(Bi_{0.5}Na_{0.5})Ti_{1-x}Nb_xO_3\;(x=0{\sim}0.05)$ (BNTNb) and its doping effects on ferroelectric and piezoelctric properties of BNT were investigated. The BNTNb solid solutions were formed up to x=0.01 with no apparent second phases while grain sizes decreased. As x increased, coercive field ($E_c$) and mechanical quality factor ($Q_m$) decreased but piezoelectric constant ($d_{33}$) increased, which indicates Nb acts as a donor for BNT.
