      • 고등학교에서의 영어 독해력 향상을 위한 지도 방법 연구

        The major goal of this study is to present the better teaching methods to improve English reading comprehension ability of high school students. In order to achieve this goal, we have researched as follows. In the first chapter, a general overview of reading comprehension has been introduced. Teaching English in high school has adopted grammar translation method for several decades. But the recent trend in teaching English has been greatly changed. It seems to put more emphasis on fluency than on accuracy. Therefore, it is more advisable to encourage high school students to quickly grasp general understanding rather than to get proficiency with slow and poor comprehension. In the second chapter, I have discussed the definitions of reading comprehension and the four types of reading process models: bottom-up top down, schema, and interactive. In the third chapter, I have analyzed the results of a trial exam of College Scholastic Ability Test taken by the frist grade students of a high school in Dangin. I have also conducted some questionaries and found out how the students recognized the reading section and dealt with it. In the fourth chapter, four elements of teaching method for the improvement of reading comprehension are categorized : basic language ability; language usage skill; speedy reading; reading strategies. Basic language ability includes vocabulary, syntactic structure, logical development organization and cultural background. Language usage skill includes literal reading comprehension, inferential reading comprehension and collective reading comprehension. Speedy reading deals with extensive reading and skimming and scanning. Reading strategies suggest 9 effective reading skills. In conclusion, the results of the experiments show that the sample students of the experiment who took trial test and replied to the questionaire had considerably little confidence in reading comprehension due to the lack of word and structure knowledge. It is, therefore, important to consider affective features such as purpose, interest, attitude, and motivation of the students and provide various reading materials and methods in accordance with their own reading ability so that they may eventually improve reading comprehension ability.

      • 대학부설 평생교육원의 프로그램 운영실태와 학습자 요구분석을 통한 개선방안 탐색

        The purpose of this study is to search for a practical scheme through the need assessment of learners who participate in the programs and of program operation actual condition in the lifelong education school attached to a university. For that, the researcher selected lifelong education schools of 5 universities located in Daegu, and conducted a questionnaire survey on 400 learners and some school managers participating in the programs. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; First, from the results of analysis of lifelong education school's program operational actual condition, it's found that lifelong education school attached to a university was established since the 1980's adapting social service as an idea of education. The organization is composed of, as its member, president or director, as well as subordinate organizations, separated board of operation. However, because of little financial support from government, local government, and university, they have been through a lot of difficulties in realizing the idea of lifelong education and in the operation of the school, and in addition, there are many problems including undiscriminated educational program, insufficient professional manpower, insufficient facilities, and program operation for university convenience' sake to solve. Second, from the learners' need assessment, it's found that their purpose of the highest priority was to acquire credits and licence, and information media for selection of program was by persuasion from neighbors. Most learners have born the education expense by themselves, and a bottleneck in participating in program was insufficient time. As their items desired, they preferred a school term unit for educational time, AM 9-12 for educational time zone, two times for weekly educational times, 2 hours for one times education time, experiment & exercise for educational method, job-related specialized course for program, lifelong education school for educational institution. The matter of the highest priority to be improved was offering curriculum guide & information service, and in a degree of satisfaction with programs, the responds showed high degree for professors lecturers, they showed low degree for consulting information service. Third, as some matters to improve in the operation of programs for the lifelong education school attached to a university, administrative financial support by central and local government, diversion of recognition and reform by university authority, close cooperation with local society, development of professional and specialized programs, diversification of educational period, method, and evaluation, supplement of professional manpower, introduction of lecturer information bank system and educational account system, intensified consulting & information service, and reform of educational circumstance are necessary.

        This study demonstrated that National Skills competition assign different set of evaluation tasks from world Skills competitionand differences in regulations were also found between National Skills competition and World Skills. Possible suggestions for improving evaluations of National Skills competition would be as follows. First, theevaluation tasks should stay updated to the changing trend, and second, deregulation on cutting and styling tools should be made for contestants to have fewer restrictions in creating high-level pieces. Third, mannequins with various hair colors, such as brown, blond and white, should be allowed to use to suit the style of each evaluation task. Forth, it is strongly recommended for National Skills competition to assign tasks linked with those of world Skills competitionin order to foster global competence of our contestants. National Skills competition will be improved to global standard when evaluations and regulations are complemented to reflect the global trend, and establishment of such global standard will develop Korean hair-dressing, discover contestants with global competence and contribute to the dignity of K-Beauty.

        The purpose of this study is to develop a meta-evaluation reference for the evaluation system of academic credit bank system, and then to perform the meta-evaluation by applying the developed reference. For that, first of all, by use of the systems approach through a literature inquiry, the researcher established meta-evaluation references by each area of input, process and outcome, and on the basis of that, developed 29 meta-evaluation references passing through the processes of examining and verifying their appropriateness. By applying the developed references, the meta-evaluation was made with a quantitative approach through a questionnaire survey, and as a complement to collecting materials, an interview survey was added. For that, first of all, a quantitative approach through a questionnaire survey was made, and as complement to collecting materials, an interview survey was added. Judging that it's desirable to adopt, as the subject of evaluation in the survey, both the evaluators and the evaluation objects, the researcher conducted it on the 206 evaluation committees of academic credit bank system as the evaluators; and the 463 persons in charge of the system in the educational institutions throughout the country, and an interview survey was conducted on the total 17 objects including 9 evaluation committees, 8 persons concerned. The results of meta-evaluation on the evaluation system of academic credit bank system showed that it has been evaluated as an ordinary level with total average score of 3.40 out of 5. There was no great difference in the scores of the three areas of evaluation, with 3.45, the highest, for the process area, 3.40 for the input area, and 3.33 for the result area. The scores of the several references in the input area, including the validity of evaluation purpose, the appropriateness of evaluation organization system, the speciality of evaluation committees, were above 3.50, and the score range of the other references were 3.00~3.50. Among them, while the score of the reference, the validity of evaluation purposes, was of the highest with 3.71, that of the adequacy of evaluation budget was of the lowest, which suggests that it's needed to secure an additional budget for the evaluation of academic credit bank system. The scores of the several references in the process area, including the appropriateness of evaluating method, the accuracy of in-house reporting, the faithfulness of written evaluation, the faithfulness of on-the-spot evaluation, the objectivity of evaluation and the fairness of evaluation, were above 3.50, and the scores of the other references in the area, including the appropriateness of evaluation cycle, evaluation time, and pre-evaluation education for evaluation committees, were low with below 3.22, so it's judged that there is room for improvement. In the result area, it's found that the scores of the references including the reliance of evaluation results and the influence of evaluation results were above 3.50, the scores of the references including the appropriateness of objection chance and the openness of evaluation results were low with 3.06 and 3.00 respectively. Accordingly, the fact, that the score for the reliance of evaluation results is higher than that for the openness of evaluation results, suggests a need to raise an openness level for evaluation results. On the other hand, the results of meta-evaluation on the evaluation system of academic credit bank system show that there is a significant difference between the evaluators and the evaluation objects in 24 evaluating references except for 5 references including the appropriateness of evaluation data, the validity of evaluation index & standard, the appropriateness of the allocation of evaluation score and the evaluation handbook distribution, and the appropriateness of pre-evaluation education for evaluation committees. In addition, the score for the evaluation objects was higher than that for the evaluators only for the reference of the accuracy of in-house reporting, and for all other references, the score for the evaluators was higher compared with that for the evaluation objects. Finally, from the results of meta-evaluation on the evaluation system of academic credit bank system, it's found that there was a significant difference between the evaluators and the evaluation objects, and the evaluators showed a favorable response for this evaluation system of academic credit bank system and the evaluation institution.

      • 사이버대학교 졸업생의 학습만족도가 직무성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 : K 사이버대학 뷰티학과를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of learning satisfaction of cyber university's beauty major graduates on job performance, and the effects of self-efficacy and job satisfaction that mediate this, to improve job competency through learning satisfaction of beauty majors and work accordingly. It was intended to provide basic data for activation of performance. To conduct the research, a research model was developed by referring to previous studies. A total of 137 copies were used for analysis by selecting a beauty major graduate of K Cyber University located in Daejeon and Chungcheong area and conducting a self-report questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 statistical program, and the Crombach a coefficient was checked to verify the internal reliability of the measurement question, and the basis for the mean, standard deviation, and mean to confirm the characteristics of respondents and the level of major variables, Statistics were conducted, and t-test, analysis of variance, and post-test were conducted to find out the difference between the major variables according to the respondents' characteristics. In addition, to confirm the correlation between learning satisfaction, self-efficacy, and job performance, an analysis was performed using the correlation coefficient, and a regression analysis was performed to verify the mediating effect between learning satisfaction and job performance. The results obtained through this study are as follows. First, there were significant correlations in learning satisfaction, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and job performance among the graduates of the Department of Beauty at K Cyber University. Second, as a result of analyzing the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between learning satisfaction and job performance, it was found that there is a mediating effect not only in self-efficacy, but also in performance achievement and personal factors, which are sub-variables of self-efficacy. Students with high self-efficacy are expected to actively act to achieve their goals, make more effort than those with low self-efficacy, and continue to work even if they have difficulties. Third, analyzing the mediating effect of job satisfaction in the relationship between learning satisfaction and job performance, not only job satisfaction but also job characteristics, a sub-factor of job satisfaction, had a positive mediating effect. Fourth, the relationship between learning satisfaction and job performance had a parallel mediating effect of self-efficacy and job satisfaction, and it was found that there was a significant effect among all variables. As a result of the study, it was found that the learning satisfaction of K Cyber University's beauty department graduates has an important influence on job performance, and variables such as self-efficacy and job satisfaction act as important parameters. It is suggested that the learning satisfaction of beauty majoring graduates improves job performance, and self-efficacy and job satisfaction act as an important facilitating factor in enhancing job performance in the field. Therefore, it is not only necessary to improve job satisfaction by continuously providing training courses based on practical competency to target subjects, but also to develop and operate various programs that can maximize job-related self-efficacy tailored to adult learners as well as technology-oriented education. Through measures to increase students' learning satisfaction, it is necessary to seek ways to improve job satisfaction and job performance. Although it was intended to help the cyber university’s graduates in hair and beauty industry find positive ways for their job performance, there was a limit to generalizing the research results to the results of beauty-related graduates of all cyber universities in Korea. In future research, the need for continuous and long-term empirical analysis and in-depth research is required for cyber university graduates to improve their job performance by conducting in-depth interviews and observations of experts with various cyber universities as research subjects. 본 연구의 목적은 사이버대학교의 뷰티 전공 졸업생들의 학습만족도가 직무성과에 미치는 영향과 이를 매개하는 자기효능감, 직무만족도의 효과를 검증하여 뷰티 전공 졸업생들의 학습만족을 통한 직무능력 향상과 이에 따른 직무성과의 활성화를 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구를 위하여 선행연구를 참고하여 연구모형을 개발하였다. 대전․충청권에 위치하고 있는 K 사이버대학교의 뷰티 전공 졸업생을 선정하여 자기보고식 설문을 실시하여 총 137부를 분석에 활용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였고, 측정문항의 내적 신뢰성을 검증하기 위해 Crombach a 계수를 확인하였으며, 응답자특성과 주요 변인들의 수준을 확인하기 위해 평균, 표준편차, 평균에 대한 기초 통계를 실시하였으며, 응답자의 특성에 따른 주요 변인들의 차이를 알아보기 위해 t검정과 분산분석 및 사후검정을 실시하였다. 또한 학습 만족도, 자기효능감, 직무성과 간의 상관관계를 확인하기 위하여 상관계수를 활용하여 분석을 실시하고 학습 만족도와 직무성과의 매개 효과를 검증하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, K 사이버대학교 뷰티 전공 졸업생들의 학습만족도, 자기효능감, 직무만족, 직무성과 모든 변인에서 유의미한 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 학습만족도와 직무성과 간의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개 효과를 분석한 결과 자기효능감 뿐만 아니라 자기효능감의 하위변인인 수행성취와 개인적 요인에서도 매개 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 자기효능감이 높은 사람은 목표성취를 위해 적극적으로 행동하며 자기효능감이 낮은 사람에 비해 더 많은 노력을 하고, 어려움이 있더라도 과업을 지속적으로 할 것으로 예측된다. 셋째, 학습만족도와 직무성과 간의 관계에서 직무만족의 매개 효과를 분석한 결과 직무만족 뿐만 아니라 직무만족의 하위요인인 직무특성도 매개 효과가 있었다. 넷째, 학습만족도와 직무성과와의 관계는 자기효능감과 직무만족의 병렬 매개 효과가 있었고 모든 변인들 간 유의미한 영향이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이상의 연구 결과로 K 사이버대학교 뷰티 전공 졸업생들의 학습만족도는 직무성과에 중요한 영향을 미치며 자기효능감, 직무만족 등의 변인들이 중요한 매개 변수로 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 뷰티 전공 졸업생들의 학습만족도가 직무성과를 높이고, 자기효능감이나 직무만족이 현장에서의 직무성과를 높이는데 중요한 촉진 요인으로 작용함을 시사해주고 있다. 따라서 대상자들에게 실무역량 기반의 교육과정을 지속적으로 제공하여 직무 만족을 향상 시킬 뿐만 아니라, 성인학습자 맞춤형으로 직무관련 자기효능감을 극대화 할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램의 개발및 운영이 요구된다. 또한 학생들의 학습만족도를 높이는 방안을 통하여 직무만족과 직무성과를 높일 수 있는 방안을 함께 모색해야만 한다. 본 연구는 뷰티 전공 졸업생들의 직무성과를 위한 긍정적인 방안 모색에 도움이 되고자 하였으나 연구 결과 모든 사이버대학의 뷰티 관련 졸업생의 결과로 일반화시키기에는 한계가 있었다. 향후 연구에서는 연구 대상을 지역별, 학교별, 전공별로 다양하게 접근하며, 전문가의 심층 인터뷰 및 관찰 등의 다양한 조사 방법을 병행하는 장기적이고 실증적인 심화 연구의 필요성이 요구된다.
