SLM과 광굴절 결정(LiNbO$_3$)을 이용하여 실현된 실시간 칼라 패턴인식 시스템

In this paper, the real-time color pattern recognition system is experimented by optical approach using the SLM(TH LCD) and a photorefractive material. In the implemented system, the character patterns to recognize are controlled of an SLM, and a 10mm thick LiNbO$_3$ crystal having high angular selectivity and photorefractive effect is used for recording materials. The shape and color informations of the red or green color patterns are excellently discriminated at independent positions by real-time processing, as the results obtained by proposed optical architecture. 본 논문에서는 SLM(TFT LCD)과 광굴절 결정을 이용하며 실시간으로 처리할 수 있는 칼라 패턴인식 시스템을 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 인식하고자 하는 문자패턴을 SLM을 이용하여 제어하고, 우수한 각도 선택성과 광굴절 특성을 갖는 LiNbO$_3$(두께 10mm) 결정을 기록 매질로 사용하였다. 제안된 광학 시스템에 의해 빨간색과 녹색 칼라 패턴의 모양 정보와 칼라 정보를 각각 다른 위치에서 실시간 처리로 확연히 판별해서 인식할 수 있었다.

본 논문에서는 신뢰성이 높고, 효율적으로 최적해에 도달하는 GA 학습기법을 광 연결에 응용하기 위한 소자 설계에 적용하였다. 실시간에 가까운 광 신호 처리를 위해 프로그래머블 SLM에 CGH 공간 필터를 입력하여 복합 광 신호 처리 시스템을 구성하여 실험하였다. 광학 실험에 의해 실제로 CCD 배열 검출기에서 얻어진 스폿 빔을 정략적인 데이터로 측정하기 위해 기하학적인 변형을 수행한 결과, $3{\times}3$ 스폿 빔에 대하여 그레이 레벨로서 스폿 빔들의 평균이 202, 최대값이 225, 최소값이 186으로 얻어졌고, 균일도가 $1.93{\times}10^{-1}$ 로서 시뮬레이션 결과와 유사하게 안정된 분포로 출력되었다. In this paper, a grating to apply for the optical interconnection is designed using a Genetic Algorithm(GA) as a robust and an efficient schema. A hybrid optical interconnection system architecture is implemented by the liquid crystal panel as a programmable spatial light modulator. As the result of geometrical transformation to obtain the quantitative data for $3{\times}3$ spot beams at CCD array detector by optical experiment truthfully, the mean of beam intensity as a gray level is 202, the maximum value is 225, the minimum value is 186, and a uniformity is quantitatively $1.93{\times}10^{-1}$ similar to simulation result.
둥글레(Polygonatum odoratum) 재분획물이 streptozotocin 유발 당뇨 흰쥐의 인슐린 활성에 미치는 영향 및 급성 독성에 관한 연구

This study was carried out to investigate the hypoglycemic effect of subfractions from BuOH fraction in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic rats. Sixty male Sprague-Dawley diabetic rats weighing 200-300g were induced diabetes mellitus by the STZ injection(45mg/kg) into the tail vein and were devided into five groups; STZ-congrol, and four experimental groups(subfraction A, B, C and D). All groups were orally administered each subfraction, and normal and STZ-control groups were orally administered each subfraction, and normal and STZ-control groups were orally administered Tween 80 with the same amounts for 14 days. The body weight gain was monitored and the blood levels of glucose and cholesterol were analyzed. The levels of plasma triglyceride, HDL-cholesterol, free fatty acid and aminotransferase activity were determined. The extent of blood glucose decremints in rat of orally administered with subfractions was greater than that found in the STZ-control group. The plasma cholesterol levels were not influenced. The levels of insulin were higher in the subfraction groups compare to STZ-control group. The acute toxicity of BuOH fraction was not observed in the subfraction-administered mouse(5g/kg). Administration of subfractions significantly reduced the blood glucose level, AST/AlT activity and insulin showing the possibility of preventive and therapeutic use to diabetes mellitus
