Objectives:The purpose of this study was to find out the main neurocognitive factor of memory deficit in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD). Methods:188 children who met DSM-IV-TR criteria for ADHD were sampled. Their age range was 7 to 12 years. They were assessed using K-WISC-III and Computerized Neurocognitive Function Test(CNT). This study examines the effects of intelligence, attention, working memory, and inhibitory function to auditory verbal memory ability in children with ADHD. Results:The result was that auditory verbal memory ability of children with ADHD was significantly predicted by full scale IQ, omission errors of Visual Continuous Performance Test(VCPT), backward test of digit span test and processing speed index. Therefore the auditory verbal memory ability of children with ADHD was mainly affected by overall intelligence and processing speed, visual attention, auditory working memory. Conclusion:These results suggest that memory deficit in children with ADHD was affected not by one certain specific neurocognitive factor, but by multiple neurocognitive factors reciprocally.

기존의 연구를 통하여 우리나라 실정에 맞게 제안된 통신망의 고정 라우팅(Fixed Routing)방법은 링크 또는 노드 오류 등이 발생할 경우에는 심각한 망 분리 현상이 일어나게 된다. 따라서 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위해서는, 링크 또는 노드 오류 등이 발생할 경우에도 동작이 가능하고 대체 경로를 사용할 수 있는 동적 경로 설정 (Dynamic Routing) 방법의 적용이 필요하다. 전광 통신망에서는 각 중간 노드들에서 라우팅 테이블을 읽어서 동작하는 종래의 역동적 라우팅 방법은 적용이 불가능하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Hot-Potato 라우팅 알고리즘을 우리나라 실정에 맞는 전광 전달망 모델에 적용하여 신뢰성 있는 WDM 광전달망의 구성을 제안한다. 통신망의 성능 특성을 비교 분석하기 위하여 SLAM Ⅱ를 이용하여 시뮬레이터를 개발 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며, 각 노드의 트래픽 발생 분포는 인구 분포를 고려하여 발생시켰다.
단일 의과대학에서 학생 선발 전형 요소와 학업성취도의 관계

Background: This study was conducted to examine the academic achievements of first year medical students in one medical school based on their characteristics and student selection factors of admission. Methods: The admission scores of student selection factors (Medical Education Eligibility Test [MEET], grade point average [GPA], English test score and interview) and demographic information were obtained from 61 students who had interviewed (multiple mini interview [MMI]) for admission (38 graduate medical school students in 2014, 23 medical college-transfer students in 2015). T-tests and ANOVA were used to examine the differences in academic achievement according to the student characteristics. Correlations between admi-ssion criteria scores and academic achievements were examined. Results: MEET score was higher among graduate medical students than medical college transfer students among student selection factors for admission. There were no significant differences in academic achieve-ment of first grade medical school between age, gender, region of high school, years after graduation and school system. The lowest interview score group showed significantly lower achievement in problem-based learning (PBL) (p=0.034). Undergraduate GPA score was positively correlated with first grade total score (r=0.446, p=0.001) among admission scores of student selection factors. Conclusion: Students with higher GPA scores tend to do better academically in their first year of medical school. In case of interview, academic achievement did not lead to differences except for PBL.

The causes of ADHD(attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) are various, so it is impossible to understand the whole characteristics of ADHD, only with simple intelligence testing scales. We compared cognitive characteristics of ADHD group with normal controls, with Korean Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children(K-ABC). It is well known to evaluate neuropsychological and cognitive aspects of the children. Materials and Methods: Age and sex matched 40 ADHD patients and 40 normal controls tested with the K-ABC. Each subscales compared between pre-treatment patients and controls, pre-treatment and post-treatment in patient group, post-treatment patients and controls. Results: Significant differences are observed in sequential processing, simultaneous processing, cognitive processing and achievement between pretreatment patients and controls, and in gestalt closure between pre-treatment and post-treatment patients group. But there are no significant differences between pretreatment patients and controls in gestalt closure and reading/decoding. Conclusion: Methylphenidate improved the scores of simultaneous scale, which means improvement of executive functions such as divided attention, analysis and organization. Methylphenidate also reduced distractibility.
