Reduction and prevention of human error is one of the major interests for the enhancement of system safety and availability in Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs). As human beings have become the weak point in the system safety, a systematic evaluation on human performance during emergency situation should be performed in advance to identify the potential vulnerability of human tasks. Though the data gathering and analysis from real field is an important precondition, there were no available data in nuclear field of korea. This paper presents the result of human performance analysis on emergency tasks in NNPs. Firstly, a task analysis was performed to identify the characteristics of operator tasks during emergency condition and to classify them into a set of generic emergency tasks. Secondly, simulation data were collected and analyzed for the emergency tasks using the full scope simulator of Younggwang NPPs. The analyzed human performance information cover the event diagnosis time, the execution time of each procedural step, observation parameters, typer of irrelevant response, pattern of communication among staffs, and so on. These performance data would be used for human reliability analysis and the research of human error as technical bases.

Appropriate ventilation is needed for healthy and comfortable indoor life of residents. The main purposes of a Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system are to help maintain good indoor air quality through adequate ventilation with filtration and provide thermal comfort. However, in some heat recovery ventilators, there is a problem that condensation occurs inside. Occurrence of condensation may cause propagation of bacteria, mold and consequently pollution, blurring the purpose of using a ventilator, and so the problem of condensation should be handled seriously. But the current condensation-related regulations have the limits in the scope of judgement. In this study, multiple dampers were installed to prevent dew condensation in the ventilation system. The condensation performance of the ventilation system was verified through the implementation of the outside temperature during the winter season.

연구목적 : 본 연구는 월경전 불쾌기분장애와 기질 특성과의 관련성을 알아봄으로써 월경전 불쾌기분장애의 병태생리 및 관련된 성격 경향을 이해하며 치료 응용의 가능성을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 방법 : DSM-IV 진단기준에 의해 월경전 불쾌기분장애로 진단된 28명을 대상으로 한국어판 TPQ, 축약형 월경전기평가서 등을 작성케 한 후, 이들 사이의 상관관계를 구하였다. 결과 : 기질의 4가지 차원에 해당하는 점수를 독립 변인으로 하고, 축약형 월경전기평가서 점수를 종속 변인으로 하여 표준 중다회귀분석을 시행하였을 때 월경전 불쾌기분장애 증상은 Cloninger가 제시한 성격의 기질을 구성하는 4가지 요인 중 손해 회피(HA) 요인과 보상 의존(RD) 요인에 대하여 유의하였으며, 특히 손해 회피(HA) 요인에 의해 가장 많이 설명될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 월경전 불쾌기분장애의 증상은 높은 손해 회피(HA) 요인과 낮은 보상 의존(RD) 요인에 의해 잘 설명되었다. 월경전기증상 중 특히 정동 증상이 손해 회피(HA) 요인과 상관관계를 갖고 있는데, 이는 월경전 불쾌기분장애가 기질의 특성에 영향을 받음을 의미한다. 이는 향후 월경전 불쾌기분장애의 병태생리의 이해에 도움이 될 것으로 생각한다. Objectives: The study was intended to explore the relationships between temperament and premenstrual dysphoric disorder, to understand symptomatology of premenstrual dysphoric disorder and associated personality trait and to suggest therapeutic availability. Method : Twenty eight women, diagnosed as premenstrual dysphoric disorder by DSM-IV, were asked to complete the Korean version of Tridimensional Personality Questionnaire, and Shortened Premenstrual Assessment Form. The correlations between the severity of premenstrual symptoms and the scores of Tridimensional Personality Questionnaire were calculated. Results : The severity of symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder was best explained by the harm-avoidance factor of the four dimensions of temperament. Conclusion : The symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder are well explained by the harmavoidance factor and the reward-dependence factor of four dimensions of the temperament.
코사인 유사도를 이용한 원자력발전소 운전원 커뮤니케이션 품질 평가 프레임워크

커뮤니케이션은 다양한 산업 분야에서 심각한 문제를 야기하는 주요 원인 중에 하나로 여기 지고 있다. 이런 이유로 인간 공학의 한 분야로서 커뮤니케이션에 대한 광범위한 연구가 진행되어왔다. 대형화 및 고도화된 산업 시스템의 안전성을 유지하기 위하여 운전원들의 양질의 커뮤니케이션 품질을 유지하는 것이 중요한 것으로 간주되고 있다. 비상 및 비정상 상황 등의 위급 상황 하에서의 운전원의 커뮤니케이션 품질은 상황 대처 성능을 결정짓는 주요 요인이라 할 수 있다. 양질의 커뮤니케이션은 대화자간의 대화 내용을 상호간에 올바르게 이해 및 숙지한 것이라고 규정할 때, 이는 대화 메시지의 충실도 및 유사도 등을 기반으로 판단할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 필요성에 따라, 원자력발전소 주제어실 운전원들이 비상 및 비정상 상황 하에서의 대응 운전 직무를 수행하기 위해 발생하는 대화 내용의 유사성을 코사인 유사도를 이용하여 측정함으로써, 운전원 커뮤니케이션 품질을 평가할 수 있는 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 모의 훈련 실습에 대해 각 실습조별 수행도 정량 평가 결과와 본 시스템을 이용한 실습조 대화 품질 평가 결과를 비교한 결과 커뮤니케이션 품질이 좋은 실습조가 직무 수행도 평가에서도 높은 점수를 취득하고 있음을 확인하였다. Communication problems have been regarded as one of the biggest causes in trouble in many industries. This led to extensive research on communication as a part of human error analysis. The results of existing researches have revealed that maintaining a good quality of communication is essential to secure the safety of a large and complex process system. In this paper, we suggested a method to measure the quality of communication during off-normal situation in main control room of nuclear power plants. It evaluates the cosine similarity that is a measure of sentence similarity between two operators by finding the cosine of the angle between them. To check the applicability of the method to evaluate communication quality, we compared the result of communication quality analysis with the result of operation performance that was performed by operators under simulated environment.
불응성 염증성 근병증 환자에 대한 Rituximab 치료

Objective. To assess the efficacy and safety of rituximab (RTX) on disease activity and muscle strength in patients with inflammatory myopathies refractory to conventional therapy. Methods. Four inflammatory myopathy patients who had been refractory to glucocorticoids, one or more immunosuppressive therapies and intravenous immunoglobulin were treated on an open-label basis. Each patient received two 500 mg doses of RTX 2 weeks apart in one cycle. In one patient who did not respond after the first cycle of RTX, the infusion schedule was modified by the physician. We measured muscle enzyme including CPK, LDH and assessed muscle strength individually to evaluate RTX response. Additionally anti-CD19 antibody was measured. Results. Three patients responded to the first cycle of RTX treatment with improvements in muscle enzyme and muscle strength, and then maintained physical function over the duration of several infusion cycles. In one patient, muscle enzyme did not decrease after the first cycle of RTX, and a high dose glucocorticoid was given. After modifying the treatment schedule with monthly RTX infusion, his muscle enzyme level and muscle strength improved. Anti-CD19 antibody decreased after RTX generally, but responses were variable. Herpes zoster infection occurred in two patients. Conclusion. Rituximab may be a therapeutic choice in refractory inflammatory myopathy. However a further trial is needed to confirm the efficacy and prove the safety.
