무선 통신 환경에서 간섭과 잡음으로 인한 채널 추정 오류는 데이터 검출을 위한 등화 성능을 현저하게 저하시킨다. 포스트 프로세싱은 채널 추정 이후에 이러한 추정 오류를 줄이기 위한 작업이며, 여기서는 소수의 채널 계수만이 무선 채널의 다중 경로에 의한 신호 성분을 갖는 무선 채널의 특성을 이용하여 신호 성분을 포함하지 않은 계수를 선별하고 이를 제거함으로써 채널 추정 오류를 줄이는 방법을 위한 순환 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존 알고리즘은 잡음 분산을 기준으로 문턱값을 결정하고, 그 문턱값보다 작은 계수는 신호성분을 포함하지 않는다고 간주하여 이를 제거하였다. 제안된 순환 알고리즘은 잡음 분산의 추정치를 반복이 진행됨에 따라 갱신하여 이를 기준으로 구한 문턱값을 이용한 포스트 프로세싱을 반복함으로써 채널 추정 성능을 개선시킨다. 제안된 방법은 기존의 방법과 유사한 복잡도를 갖는 반복 횟수를 적용하는 경우에 월등히 성능이 개선되며, 특히 반복횟수를 조절함으로써 처리 시간과 채널 추정 성능을 최적화할 수 있는 유연성을 갖고 있다.

Objective : Benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) is one of the most common diseased among elderly men. BPH can be treated with alpha-1 adrenergic blocker or 5α-reductase inhibitor(Finasteride) that reduces serum dihydrotestosterone(DHT). Phellodendri Cortex Ex has been broad studied on its chemical components, pharmacological activity, and clinical effects on anti-inflammation, anti-allergy, anti-tumor, immunity, antibacteria and other bioactivities. In this study, we investigated the therapeutic effects and action mechanism of Phellodendri Cortex Ex with a BPH induced by castration and testosterone treatment. Methods : Sprague-Dawley rats were treated with testosterone after castration for induction of experimental benign prostatic hyperplasia, which is similar to human benign prostatic hyperplasia in histopathological profiles. Phellodendri Cortex as an experimental specimen, and Finasteride as a positive control, were administered orally. The prostates were evaluated by histopathological changes, and the expression of 5α-reductase genes. Results : While prostates of control rats revealed severe acinar gland atrophy and stromal proliferation, the rats treated with Phellodendri Cortex Ex showed a diminished range of the tissue damage. In the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) of 5α-reductase genes, Phellodendri Cortex inhibited the expression of 5α-reductase genes. Conclusions : These findings suggest that Phellodendri Cortex Ex may protect the glandular epithelial cells and also inhibit stromal proliferation in association with the suppression of 5α-reductase. From these results, we suggest that Phellodendri Cortex Ex could be a useful agent for treating the benign prostatic hyperplasia.

A FFT/IFFT processor is the key component for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems based IEEE 802.11n wireless local area network (WLAN). There exists many radix algorithms according to the structure of butterfly as FFT sub-module, each has the pros and cons on hardware complexity. Here, mixed radix algorithms for 64 and 128 FFT/IFFT processors are proposed, which reduce hardware complexity by using mixture of radix-23 and radix-4 algorithms. The proposed algorithm finish calculation within 3.2${\mu}s$ in order to meet IEEE 802.11n standard requirements and it has less hardware complexity compared with conventional algorithms.
플라이애시를 사용한 콘크리트의 염화물 저항성 촉진시험 방법에 관한 검토

The test method ASTM C 1202 "Electrical indication of concrete’s ability to resist chloride ion penetration" is critically examined in this paper. It is observed that the total charge passed is not a good basis for classification of concrete quality when different binders (such as fly-ash etc) are considered. A simple modification test method is proposed. The modification involved performing of additional test using distilled water as electrolyte. The difference in the total charges passed obtained between ASTM C 1202 test and test performed in water is suggested as an indicator for concrete quality. By using the modified total charge passed, improvements in relationship to direct measurements of chloride ion penetration are observed.

A change of voltage and simple modification test method are examined. The modification involved performing of additional test using distilled water as electrolyte. The difference in the total charges passed obtained between change of voltage in concrete and test performed in water is suggested as an indicator for concrete quality. The chloride ion penetration for concrete with mineral admixtures can correctly estimated in considring pozzolan reacts with long term ages of the concrete.
