The Six Degree-of-Freedom manipulators are generally operated by linear actuators which are hydraulic cylinder, pneumatic cylinder, ball-screw. But these actuators are not adequate to have a wide work-space, and furthermore some of them have a self-locking property. Therfore, we have designed a new manipulator which fully overcomes these demerits. The new manipulating system consists of 6 DC-motors to generate operation forces and 6 position transducers to feedback displacement signals. This paper presents an overview of the design and characteristics of 6 Degree-of-Freedom force feedback manipulators for vitual reality implementation. we can operate Six Degree-of-Freedom manipulator with six motors and six potentiometers.

가와사끼병은 주로 소아연령에서 발생하는 급성 열성 혈관염으로 관상동맥의 확장이 치명적 합병증으로 나타날 수 있다. 저자들은 3개월된 영아에서 반복적인 정맥용 면역글로불린, 스테로이드, 경구용 methotrexate의 치료에도 불구하고 진행되는 관상동맥 병변으로 다발성 거대 관상류, 협착 및 관상동맥 내 혈전을 보이며 심전도상 심근 허혈 소견과 함께 심장 자기공명영상에서 좌심실의 확장과 전벽 및 중격의 심한 운동저하를 나타낸 증례를 보고한다. 환아는 보존적 요법에 반응하지 않는 관상동맥병변으로 내원 88일째 수술적으로 우측 거대관상동맥류를 절개하고 Gore-tex tube를 삽입하여 각각의 측부순환과 연결하였으며, 좌측 관상동맥 협착부위는 세로로 절개한 후 심장막 반(pericardial patch)을 삽입, 확장하였으나, 수술 후 심폐부전으로 사망하였다. Kawasaki disease is an acute systemic vasculitis of unknown origin. Giant coronary aneurysm is one of the most serious complications, although peripheral artery vasculitis can produce life-threatening events. Myocardial ischemia and infarction can be caused by coronary artery stenosis, aneurysm, and stagnation of blood flow in coronary arteries which triggers thromboembolism. Atypical presentation in young infants often interferes with prompt diagnosis and timely treatment, resulting in poor outcomes. We describe a 3-month-old infant with multiple giant coronary aneurysms with flow stagnation, stenosis and large mural thrombus due to Kawasaki disease. He presented with a prolonged course of severe coronary involvement in spite of all measures to reduce coronary complications. Finally, surgical intervention was tried because of the worsening coronary artery abnormalities. The patient died of acute cardiorespiratory failure shortly after weaning from cardiopulmonary bypass.

In case of developing a guide-rail type window cleaning robot, only the first prototype has been developed. In this study, it was considered that the size and the load of the window cleaning robot was not optimized, and through the structural analysis of the self-weight of the window cleaning robot, the stress concentration area was derived and the concentrated stress was quantified. Analysis showed that the upper rail shaft had a bending stress of 9.964Mpa and the bolt had a shear stress of 19.544Mpa. The results of this study will be used as basic data for designing future prototypes.

As businesses put a greater emphasis on outward appearances, the demand for external window cleaning has been on the rise. However, with the conventional labor-intensive window cleaning method, it is hard to meet this demand. Therefore, this study proposes a Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis model for a guiderail-type cleaning robot, and estimate the LCCs of the conventional method and the cleaning robot. The findings of this research are expected to serve as a guide for future development of a cleaning robot.
정보입자기반 퍼지 RBF 뉴럴 네트워크를 이용한 트랙킹 검출

In this paper, we proposed tracking detection methodology using information granulation-based fuzzy radial basis function neural networks (IG-FRBFNN). According to IEC 60112, tracking device is manufactured and utilized for experiment. We consider 12 features that can be used to decide whether tracking phenomenon happened or not. These features are considered by signal processing methods such as filtering, Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) and Wavelet. Such some effective features are used as the inputs of the IG-FRBFNN, the tracking phenomenon is confirmed by using the IG-FRBFNN. The learning of the premise and the consequent part of rules in the IG-FRBFNN is carried out by Fuzzy C- Means (FCM) clustering algorithm and weighted least squares method (WLSE), respectively. Also, Hierarchical Fair Competition-based Parallel Genetic Algorithm (HFC-PGA) is exploited to optimize the IG-FRBFNN. Effective features to be selected and the number of fuzzy rules, the order of polynomial of fuzzy rules, the fuzzification coefficient used in FCM are optimized by the HFC-PGA. Tracking inference engine is implemented by using the LabVIEW and loaded into embedded system. We show the superb performance and feasibility of the tracking detection system through some experiments.

대부분의 $건축\cdot토목공사$의 기초공사 시 사용하는 기성콘크리트 파일공사의 굴착 및 파일 매입 작업의 경우 국내 시방기준에는 파일을 연직으로 시공해야 한다는 것만이 명시되어 있을 뿐, 이에 대한 측정기준 및 시공기준이 제시되어 있지 않으며, 대부분의 시공현장에서는 숙련노무자의 경험을 통한 육안측정에 의존하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 파일공사시 균일한 품질을 확보하고 작업의 안전성 확보 및 생산성 향상을 위한 파일 연직 자동제어를 위한 파일롯타입을 개발하는 것이다. 연구목적을 만족시키기 위하여 수행한 주요 연구내용으로 국내 시방기준 및 현장 조사를 통하여 파일 공사에서의 연직도 측정 및 제어 현황을 파악하고, 이를 토대로 파일공사시 연직도 측정 및 제어작업을 효율적으로 수행할 수 있도록 파일드라이버 장비의 기능 향상을 위한 장비의 개념설계를 실시하고, 파일롯타입 장비를 제작하여 성능실험을 실시하고 연직 자동제어 장비 프로토타입 개발을 위한 기초 자료를 제시한다. The objective of the research is to develop the automated vertical controllable pilot-type equipment for PHC piles. The motivation for the research is that inherent problems related to vertical control during pile driving. The paper explains the current vertical control methods and problems, design and manufacturing of the pilot-type automated equipment and its testing and discussions of the results.

연속압입 시험기법을 이용한 석유화학설비 경년손상의 새로운 평가변수 고찰

Newly developed continuous indentation technique has made nondestructive assessment of tensile properties possible. The present study was undertaken to determine new parameters for indicating time-dependent material degradation of petro-chemical plant. Continuous indentation tests were performed for Cr-Ni steel and Cr-Mo steel which are widely used as facilities of petro-chemical plant. From the results, it was found that yield strength and tensile strength cannot be used as general degradation parameters because the changes in the strengths with aging time didn't show any tendency. On the other hand, work hardening exponent and yield ratio showed consistent tendency with increasing aging time. Therefore, nam attention of this work was paid on them as new degradation parameters, and the in-field applicability of the parameters was evaluated and discussed.
