In this study, plasma flat fluorescent lamps (FFLs) having two electrode type structures of surface discharge was fabricated by screen printing and were characterized using spectra-radiometer and square pulse power supply. Two types of FFLs (cross-type and line-type electrode structure) were compared with variation of discharge shape and electrode distance.

The buffer green space of Sihwa industrial complex is located on the boundary of residential areas and industrial areas, and this regions have been the ability to mitigate environmental impact of noise, vibration, atmospheric. In this area, the survey of vegetation and bird was conducted to understand the biology structures and function of buffer green space from biology habitats and natural recovery for ecology restoration. The survey was performed four times according to the season. As a result, vegetation were distributed to the most widely Pinus thunbergii community (72.2%) in the whole survey area (approximately 0.32 km2), and grasslands (6.6%), Amorpha fruticosa community (4.1%), Koelreuteria paniculata community (4.0%), Acer buergerianum community (3.9%) in the order of distribution. The characteristics of vegetation distribution were mainly planted Pinus thunbergii in outlying areas, and Koelreuteria paniculata, Acer buergerianum, Sophora japonica, Quercus acutissima were planted in the middle areas. The birds observed in this area were a total of 37 species, 912 individuals, the species of legal protection were observed Falco tinnunculus 1 individuals. The most of birds observed in this area were the resident that can be observed easily in the park and greenland surrounding urban. The waterfowl almost were not observed because of lacking water space. Thus, as providing safe habitats and movement passageway of wildlife, the connection of ecological green areas will be strengthened.

휴대용 C-band Stacked Microstrip Patch Type의 평판형 위성 송수신 안테나 개발

본 논문에서는 송수신 겸용 C-밴드 위성 통신 적층형 마이크로 스트립 패치 안테나 구현 방안을 제시하였다. 송수신 대역의 광대역을 구현하기 위해서 Foam material 를 사용한 개구면 결합 패치 안테나를 사용하여 안테나를 설계하였다. 배열 안테나의 급전선은 돌프체비세프 배열 합성법을 사용하여 부엽 레벨의 향상을 구현하였다. 송수신 대역을 서로 다른 방사소자를 사용하고, 이격된 각각의 방사소자가 송신과 수신을 하게 된다. 수신 방사소자는 수직편파, 송신 방사소자는 수평 편파를 사용했다. 단일 수신 방사소자의 대역폭은 VSWR 2 이하에서 800 MHz 송신 방사소자의 대역폭은 VSWR 2 이하에서 1200 MHz를 얻었다. 4${\times}$4 배열 안테나의 수신 대역폭은 800 MHz, 송신 대역폭은 500 MHz 를 얻었다. 설계된 배열 안테나의 이득은 수신측 17~18 dBi, 송신측 18~19 dBi 를 얻었다. In this paper, a stacked microstrip patch antenna is proposed for C-band RX/TX satellite communications. To broaden the bandwidth in RX/TX bands, aperture-coupled feeding network using foam material was used to design a microstrip antenna. To improve the side-lobe level performance, the feeding network taperd by a Dolph-Chebyshev distribution was used. Since we use separate radiating element for receiving and transmitting bands, each radiating element is operated independently. The RX radiating patch produces vertically polarized wave and TX radiating element produces horizontally polarized wave. The receiving bandwidth of a single element is 800 MHz and transmitting bandwidth is 1200 MHz for VSWR less than 2. The receiving bandwidth of a designed 4${\times}$4 array antenna is 800 MHz and transmitting bandwidth is 500 MHz for VSWR less than 2. The receiving gain and transmitting gain of a designed array antenna are about 17~18 dBi and 18~19 dBi, respectively.
Thermal, Structural and Electrical Properties of Li-Mn-B-O Glass on Crystallization

We have fabricated Li-Mn-B-O (Li:Mn:B = 2:1:2 mole ratio, LMBO) glass using the meltquenchingmethod for the development of a cathode material for use in lithium ion batteries. Differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction and an impedance gain phase analysis havebeen used to investigate thermal, structural and electrical properties, respectively. We have foundthat four consecutive crystallizations of the LMBO glass occur with heating and that the seriesof crystal phases corresponds to Li2MnO3, Mn3O4, unknown and Li2B4O7. The resistivity of theLMBO compound decreases with increasing heat treatment temperature, and the dc conductivitiesof the heat-treated samples are within the range of 10−6 to 10−7 S/cm, which are values similarto those of the most-frequently used Li-Co(Mn,Fe)-O(PO4) bulk polycrystal compounds. Duringcrystallization of the LMBO glass, Li2MnO3, Mn3O4 and Li2B4O7 nanocrystals with average grainsizes of less than 55 nm are formed.
인천 석모도, 교동도, 볼음도에서 관찰된 멸종위기조류의 분포 특성 연구

This study was conducted to analyze the distributional status of endangered birds inhabit in Seongmo, Gyodong, Boreum Islands in 2009 from spring to autumn. The endangered birds observed in this area were a total of 16 species. The areas preferred to endangered birds were largely divided into the forest type of low mountain areas, the coast type of foreshore and mudflat areas and the open type of agricultural land. The forest type was mainly observed birds of prey, the coast type was mostly identified water birds and the open type was shared with birds of prey and water birds. The information in these endangered birds is determined that can be used as a basis data for protecting certain birds and habitats.
백령도에서 검은이마직박구리(Pycnonotus sinensis)의 번식 및 월동 현황

On 4 May 2011, a total of four adult Light-vented Bulbuls (Pycnonotus sinensis) were observed for the first time at Baengnyeong Island, Ongjin-gun, Incheon Metropolitan City. Thirteen adults and nine fledglings were observed from their habitats on September 23, 2011 as a potential breeding population. A flock of 51 individuals was also found in the southern area of Baengnyeong Island on December 17, 2011, which could be the largest in South Korea. 2011년 5월 4일에 인천광역시 옹진군 백령도에서 검은이마직박구리 성조 4개체가 처음으로 관찰되었으며, 9월 23일에 성조 13개체와 새끼 9개체가 관찰되어 번식이 확인되었다. 그리고 12월17일에는 51개체가 집단으로 월동하는 것이 확인되었으며, 이는 지금까지 확인된 가장 큰 월동집단이다.
