        일 지역 알츠하이머병 노인에서 Apolipoprotein E ${\varepsilon}4$와 인지변화의 연관에 대한 전향적 연구

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the prospective impact of the apolipoprotein E (APOE) ${\varepsilon}4$ on cognitive performance in the community-dwelling elderly individuals with Alzheimer's disease (AD). Methods : The total number of subjects was 30 (12 men and 18 women) who were diagnosed with AD from a Korean project of "Early Detection of Dementia". People aged 65-85 years were included in the analysis. The eight neuropsychological domains from the Korean version of Consortium to Establish a Registry of Alzheimer's Disease (CERAD-K) were conducted to test subjects. They have been followed at 24-month intervals with the same assessments at each interval. Their cognitive performance at 2 year intervals was compared by the occurrence of the APOE ${\varepsilon}4$. Results : The impact of ${\varepsilon}4$ allele was significant in the Word List Memory Test (WLMT, F = 4.345, df = 1, p = 0.021) and Word List Recall Test (WLRT, F = 5.569, df = 1, p = 0.033). Conclusions : The APOE ${\varepsilon}4$ allele was significantly correlated especially with verbal episodic memory domain in community-dwelling elders diagnosed with AD.

        확장된 Grunwald-Winstein 식에 의한 Di-n-butyl Phosphorochloridate의 가용매 분해반응 연구

        Di-n-butyl phosphorochloridate((CH<sub>3</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>O)<sub>2</sub>POCl, 1)의 가용매 분해반응의 속도상수를 여러 가지 용매 중에서 구하였다. 반응용매 28개의 속도상수를 이용하여 확장된 Grunwald-Winstein 식에 의하여 구한 용매의 친핵성도와 이온화력에 대한 기질의 민감도(l = 1.40, m = 0.42)는 S<sub>N</sub>2 반응임을 예상할 수 있다. 이를 뒷받침할 수 있는 추가 요소들은 상대적으로 작은 양의 값의 ΔH<sup>≠</sup> (8.0 ~ 15.9 kcal·mol<sup>−1</sup>)와 큰 음의 값의 ΔS<sup>≠</sup>(−25.8~−53.1 cal·mol<sup>−1</sup>·K<sup>−1</sup>), Kivinen의 n 값(0.9~1.7) 그리고 용매동위원소효과 값(1.69)이다. The solvolysis rate constants of di-n-butyl phosphorochloridate ((CH<sub>3</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>O)<sub>2</sub>POCI, 1) in 28 different solvents are well correlated with the extended Grunwald-Winstein equation, using the N<sub>T</sub> solvent nucleophilicity scale and Y<sub>Cl</sub> solvent ionizing scale, with the sensitivities values of 1.40 and 0.42 for l and m, respectively. These l and m values can be considered to support an S<sub>N</sub>2 reaction pathway. This interpretation is further supported by the activation parameters, i.e., relatively small positive ΔH<sup>≠</sup> (8.0 to 15.9 kcal·mol<sup>−1</sup> ) values and large negative ΔS<sup>≠</sup> (−25.8 to −53.1 cal·mol<sup>−1</sup> ·K<sup>−1</sup> ) values, the Kivinen’s n values (0.9~1.7), and the solvent kinetic isotope effect (1.62).

        유리섬유 강화 플라스틱용 다중벽 탄소나노튜브/유리섬유 복합충전재의 제조

        We report a simple and mass-producible method for incorporating multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) on the surface of chopped glass fibers for applications to glass-fiber reinforced plastics. The MWCNTs were synthesized by thermal CVD. In order to eliminate impurities in the MWCNTs (such as metallic catalysts), the MWCNTs were treated in acid mixture (sulfuric acid/nitric acid=3:1 (v/v)) at $70^{\circ}C$ for 24 h, followed by a reflux process in 5 M HCl at $120^{\circ}C$ for 6 h. The multiple fillers, such as MWCNTs/glass fibers for reinforcement, were prepared by dipping the chopped glass fibers in a well-dispersed alcohol MWCNT solution (0.1 wt%). Field emission scanning electron microscopy showed MWCNTs generated on the microscopic glass fibers. Moreover, the MWCNTs piled up on the surface of the glass fibers with increasing absorption time. The mechanical properties of the ABS were enhanced by the incorporation of MWCNT-coated glass fibers.

        전기방사에 의한 폴리아미드/다중벽 탄소나노튜브 나노복합체섬유의 제조

        This study used a new and simple processing route to incorporate multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) into a polymer matrix via in-situ interfacial polymerization and electrospinning. Poly(hexamethylene sebacamide) (nylon 610)/MWCNT composites were prepared using two liquid phases containing the reactants and MWCNT. One phase contained a solution of sebacoyl chloride in carbon tetrachloride and the other contained a solution of hexamethylenediamine and MWCNT in water, which was prepared by sonication with a surfactant. Electrospinning of the composite solution produced fibers with well embedded MWCNT. We investigated morphology of individual MWCNT incorporating in nylon 610 fibers by scanning electron microscopy and transmssion electron microscopy and the electrical conductivity of the electro spun nylon 610 fibers with MWCNT.

        This paper describes a requirement architecture modeling for the front end of KT-1 export version requirement definition processes to construct SDS(system development specification). The requirement definition process is a highly conceptual process that is difficult to carry out. This paper focuses on how to perform the KT-1 export version requirements definition process including the integration of process, methods and tools for the front-end activity of requirements definition process. This requirement model is structured in four segments, including requirement layering, requirement categorization, life cycle stakeholder and requirement definition process using Computer-Aided Systems Engineering tool(CORE).

        KC-100 민간항공기 체계안전성 평가

        KC-100 is a 4 seats, single piston engine, civil aircraft whose type certificate is applied for KAS 23 (FAR 23) for the first time in Korea. Its system safety assessment and analysis have been conducted to meet the minimum safety requirement in KAS 23 and to verify the safety of equipment, system, and installation in accordance with the requirement of ${\S}$23.1309 and the guidelines in FAA AC 23.1309-1D and SAE ARP 4761. This safety assessment begins with the FHA (Functional Hazard Assessment) at aircraft and system level in preliminary design phase, and all of the safety assessment and analysis reports including the preliminary version of SSA (System Safety Assessment) have been prepared during detail design phase. The revised version of these safety reports will be approved by Airworthiness Authority through the ground and flight test phases. In this paper, the safety assessment requirement in ${\S}$23.1309, safety assessment guideline in AC 23.1309-1D, and safety assessment and analysis methods in ARP 4761 will be explained based on the application example for KC-100 development. The experience and knowledge of this system safety assessment for civil aircraft can be applied to commuter aircraft of FAR 23 class or large transport airplane of FAR 25 class.

        사용자 중심의 효율적인 좌석 자원 관리 시스템 설계 및 구현

        Recently, various systems are being developed for efficiently assignment and management of such resources as seats of airplane, train, bus, theater, and library. If it occurs the exceed demand for the limited seat resource, the system has much difficulty for the seat resource management and assignment efficiently. The existed allocation and management methods were processed using the centralization management of the limited seat resource. But these methods cannot consider the preference of each user, and these not support the fairness of usage for each person. Accordingly, we design and implement the seat assignment system based on the customer-driven for the seat management in the reading room of library, customer selects directly for the fairness of seat. 최근 비행기, 기차, 버스를 비롯하여 극장이나 도서관 좌석 등과 같은 자원을 효과적으로 배정하고 관리하는 시스템이 개발되고 있다. 그러나 한정된 좌석 자원을 초과하는 수요가 발생하면 이 자원을 효율적으로 관리하고 이용할 때는 많은 어려움이 발생한다. 기존의 한정 된 좌석 자원의 배정 및 관리 방식은 중앙 시스템에서 집중 관리로 처리되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 방법은 사용자 개개인의 선호도를 고려하지 못 할 뿐만 아니라 각 사용자에게 공평한 기회를 제공하지 못한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사용자 관점에서 한정된 도서관 열람실 좌석 자원을 효율적으로 이용하기 위하여 고객이 직접 좌석을 선택하고 좌석에 대한 기회를 균등하게 가질 수 있는 고객 중심의 좌석 할당 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다.

        한국형 사이코패시: 국내 사이코패시 평가도구 타당화 연구를 바탕으로

        The purpose of this study is to conduct an exploratory investigation into Korean psychopathy by synthesizing the results of prior domestic research on the validation of psychopathy assessment tools. Domestic research on the validation of psychopathy scales has been constrained by limited research methodologies, bias toward male subjects, and the application of inappropriate factor structures. Furthermore, although discrepancies between the original scale and the Korean scale were identified regarding the factor structures through in construct validity research, discussion on the concept of Korean psychopathy has been limited. As a result, this study compared 16 domestic papers on the validation of psychopathy assessment tools along with 9 international foreign papers that addressed the factor structure of each original scale. By comparing the derived factor structures, items assigned to each factor, and omitted items from each study, the characteristics of Korean psychopathy were explored. The findings revealed that Korean psychopathy is recognizable from materialism, machiavellianism, and antisocial behavior and impulsivity. This study holds significance in synthesizing the outcomes of current domestic psychopathy validation research and offers a conceptual foundation to help understand Korean psychopathy.

        저온에서 AlGaN/GaN HEMT의 전기적 특성 변화

        AlGaN/GaN HEMT를 제작하여 상온에서 $-178^{\circ}C$의 저온에 이르기까지 트랜지스터의 전기적인 특성 변화를 연구하였다. 상온에서 264 mA/mm를 나타내던 게이트 길이 $2{\mu}m$인 HEMT의 드레인 전류는 온도의 감소에 따라 변화하여 $-108^{\circ}C$의 온도에서 388 mA/mm로 47%의 증가를 나타냈으며 최대 트랜스컨덕턴스는 121 mS/mm로 부터 183 mS/mm로 증가하였다. 또한 $-178^{\circ}C$의 온도에 이르기까지 -0.39 V의 문턱전압 변화를 보였다. 이러한 변화는 주로 상온에서부터 $-108^{\circ}C$의 온도에서 나타나고 있으며 온도감소에 따른 $720{\Omega}/sq.$ 로부터 $300{\Omega}/sq.$로 감소하는 면저항의 변화와 함께하고 있다. Low temperature variation of electrical characteristics for AlGaN/GaN/HEMT was studied. To investigate the effect of temperatures, transistor was cool down to $-178^{\circ}C$ and electrical characteristics were measured. The drain current density of an AlGaN/GaN HEMT with a gate length of $2{\mu}m$ was increased from 264 mA/mm to 388 mA/mm and the maximum transconductance was increased from 105 mS/mm to 134 mS/mm by decreasing the temperature to $-108^{\circ}C$. Also, the threshold voltage was shifted -0.39 V with the temperature. The reason for the variations was seemed to the reduced channel resistance corresponding to the temperature. However, most of the variation of the electrical characteristics takes places above $-108^{\circ}C$.

        An Experimental study on effect of AC electric fields on flame spread over electrical wire with a copper (Cu) metal insulated by Polyethylene (PE) was conducted with applying AC electric fields in a single-electrode configuration. The size, inclination, and shape o f s pr eading f lame as well as the dynamic behavior of molten PE were influenced appreciably by ionic wind effect when AC electric field is applied to wire, there by modifying FSR.
