        플라시도원반 방식의 비디오각막경을 이용한 각막곡률 및 난시측정과 기존의 각막곡률계와의 비교

        목적: 플라시도 원반 방식의 비디오각막경을 이용한 각막곡률 및 난시측정의 임상적 유용성을 평가하고 기존의 각막곡률을 측정할 수 있는 기기들과의 차이가 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 2015년 11월부터 2016년 1월까지 백내장 수술이 예정된 45명 45안을 전향적으로 조사하였다. 플라시도 원반 방식의 비디오각막경(Keratograph?? 5M), 자동각막곡률계(KR-8900??), 수동각막곡률계(B&L Manual Ophthalmic Keratometer??), 플라시도 원반-세극등주사 각막곡률계(ORBscan II??), 샤임플러그 각막곡률계(Pentacam??) 및 저간섭성 반사계(Lenstar??)를 이용하여 각막곡률 및 난시를 기기당 1안에 3회씩 반복 측정하였다. 기기별 반복성 및 신뢰성 비교는 변동계수, 표준편차 및 군내연관계수를 통해 분석하였고 기기 간 측정치 평균 차이 비교는 반복측정 분산분석을 통해, 일치도 평가는 Bland-Altman plot으로 분석하였다. 결과: 평균각막곡률 및 각막난시의 측정에 있어 Keratograph?? 5M과 다른 기기 간의 차이는 없었으며, J0, J45에서도 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 보이지 않았다(p>0.05). Bland-Altman plot으로 분석한 Keratograph?? 5M과 다른 기기 간 일치도에서 95% limits of agreement (LoA) 값이 각막곡률은 -0.78~0.55D로, J0은 -0.72~0.88D로, J45는 -0.39~0.47D로 나타났다. 결론: 각막곡률 및 난시의 측정에 있어 Keratograph?? 5M은 기존의 각막곡률계와 비교하여 서로 비슷한 재현성을 나타냈으며 다른 기기들과 상호보완적으로 이용될 수 있다. Purpose: In the present study, the repeatability and reproducibility of the corneal power and astigmatism measurements using placido-based video keratography were evaluated and the agreement with other keratometers were compared. Methods: This prospective study included 45 patients (45 eyes) scheduled to undergo cataract surgery between November 2015 and January 2016. Three sets of corneal power and astigmatism were measured using placido-based video keratometer (Keratograph?? 5M), automatic keratometer (KR-8900??), manual keratometer (B&L manual keratometer??), Placido-scanning-slit keratometer (ORBscan II??), Scheimpflug keratometer (Pentacam??), and low coherence interferometry (Lenstar LS900??). Reliability of each device was analyzed using the coefficient of variation, standard deviation and intraclass correlation coefficient. Repeated measures analysis of variance was used to analyze the interdevice comparison of mean absolute difference. The agreement between the devices was evaluated with 95% limits of agreement (LoA) and Bland-Altman plots. Results: The mean corneal power, astigmatism and power vector analysis (J0, J45) were not significantly different among devices (p > 0.05). In the Bland-Altman plot analysis, the 95% LoA of corneal power, J0, and J45 when comparing Keratograph?? 5M with others ranged from -0.78 to 0.55 D, from -0.42 to 0.45 D, and from -0.39 to 0.47 D, respectively. Conclusions: Keratograph?? 5M showed good repeatability and reproducibility of corneal power and astigmatism measurements and was interchangeable with other keratometers.

        Efficient Scheme for Secret Hiding in QR Code by Improving Exploiting Modification Direction

        QR codes as public patent are widely used to acquire the information in various fields. However, it faces security problem when delivering the privacy message by QR code. To overcome this weakness, we propose a secret hiding scheme by improving exploiting modification direction to protect the private message in QR code. The secret messages will be converted into octal digit stream and concealed to the cover QR code by overwriting the cover QR code public message bits. And the private messages can be faithfully decoded using the extraction function. In our secret hiding scheme, the QR code public message still can be fully decoded publicly from the marked QR codes via any standard QR Code reader, which helps to reduce attackers’ curiosity. Experiments show that the proposed scheme is feasible, with high secret payload, high security protection level, and resistant to common image post-processing attacks.

        Quantitative phosphoproteomic analysis identifies the potential therapeutic target EphA2 for overcoming sorafenib resistance in hepatocellular carcinoma cells

        Limited therapeutic options are available for advanced-stage hepatocellular carcinoma owing to its poor diagnosis. Drug resistance to sorafenib, the only available targeted agent, is commonly reported. The comprehensive elucidation of the mechanisms underlying sorafenib resistance may thus aid in the development of more efficacious therapeutic agents. To clarify the signaling changes contributing to resistance, we applied quantitative phosphoproteomics to analyze the differential phosphorylation changes between parental and sorafenib-resistant HuH-7 cells. Consequently, an average of ~1500 differential phosphoproteins were identified and quantified, among which 533 were significantly upregulated in resistant cells. Further bioinformatic integration via functional categorization annotation, pathway enrichment and interaction linkage analysis led to the discovery of alterations in pathways associated with cell adhesion and motility, cell survival and cell growth and the identification of a novel target, EphA2, in resistant HuH-7R cells. In vitro functional analysis indicated that the suppression of EphA2 function impairs cell proliferation and motility and, most importantly, overcomes sorafenib resistance. The attenuation of sorafenib resistance may be achieved prior to its development through the modulation of EphA2 and the subsequent inhibition of Akt activity. Binding analyses and in silico modeling revealed a ligand mimic lead compound, prazosin, that could abate the ligand-independent oncogenic activity of EphA2. Finally, data obtained from in vivo animal models verified that the simultaneous inhibition of EphA2 with sorafenib treatment can effectively overcome sorafenib resistance and extend the projected survival of resistant tumor-bearing mice. Thus our findings regarding the targeting of EphA2 may provide an effective approach for overcoming sorafenib resistance and may contribute to the management of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma.

        Efficient secret sharing scheme with cheater identification based on QR code

        Secret sharing is an effective way of protecting secret messages. However, the traditional secret sharing schemes are considered meaningless due to malicious people attention which might raise risks. To overcome the weakness, this paper presents an effective secret sharing scheme with the functionality of cheater identification, based on meaningful QR code. The secret message will be split and concealed in the padding region of cover QR codes with the assistance of Latin square and it can be completely restored when all the involved participants cooperate. The concealing strategy exploits the characteristic of Reed-Solomon (RS) code to ensure the strong robustness of generated QR code pseudo-shares. The meaningful QR code pseudo-shares help to reduce the curious of unrelated persons. Some experiments were done to evaluate the performance of proposed scheme. The results showed that the proposed scheme is feasible, efficient and secure compared to the other existing schemes. It also achieves a higher secret payload and maintains stronger robustness.

        Eye Globe Abnormalities on MR and CT in Adults: An Anatomical Approach

        Eye globe abnormalities can be readily detected on dedicated and non-dedicated CT and MR studies. A primary understanding of the globe anatomy is key to characterising both traumatic and non-traumatic globe abnormalities. The globe consists of three primary layers: the sclera (outer), uvea (middle), and retina (inner layer). The various pathological processes involving these layers are highlighted using case examples with fundoscopic correlation where appropriate. In the emergent setting, trauma can result in hemorrhage, retinal/choroidal detachment and globe rupture. Neoplasms and inflammatory/infective processes predominantly occur in the vascular middle layer. The radiologist has an important role in primary diagnosis contributing to appropriate ophthalmology referral, thereby preventing devastating consequences such as vision loss.

        Problematic Use of Internet Among Indonesia University Students: Psychometric Evaluation of Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale and Internet Gaming Disorder Scale-Short Form

        Objective Social media addiction and internet gaming disorder may cause mental health problems among a minority of university students. The Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale (BSMAS) and the 9-item Internet Gaming Disorder Scale-Short Form (IGDS9-SF) are commonly used worldwide. However, they have not been translated or validated into Indonesian. The present study aimed to translate and validate the BSMAS and IGDS9-SF in an Indonesian context among young adults.Methods A multi-center, web-based cross-sectional study was conducted among 458 university students (74% female; mean age 22.5 years) in Indonesia from June to December 2021. The BSMAS and IGDS9-SF were translated into Indonesian. Internal consistency (using Cronbach’s α and McDonald’s ω) and factor structure (using confirmatory factor analysis) of the two instruments were examined. Concurrent validity of BSMAS and IGDS9-SF was examined using their correlations with two external concepts: nomophobia and psychological distress.Results Internal consistency of the Indonesian BSMAS and IGDS9-SF were both acceptable (Cronbach’s α=0.80 and 0.90; McDonald’s ω=0.86 and 0.92). Both instruments were unidimensional with good factor loadings (0.54–0.78 for BSMAS; 0.63–0.79 for IGDS9-SF). Moreover, BSMAS and IGDS9-SF had stronger associations with nomophobia (r=0.58 and 0.12; p<0.001) than with psychological distress (r=0.43 and 0.15; p<0.001).Conclusion The Indonesian versions of the BSMAS and IGDS9-SF had good psychometric properties in terms of linguistic validity, unidimensionality, and reliability. The findings indicate the tools are appropriate for assessing the risk of social media addiction and internet gaming disorder among university students in Indonesia.
