        임진택의 오월광주 에 나타난5.18 민주화운동의 형상화 방식

        본고에서는 사설의 구성방식, 음악적인 특징, 연행의 의의 등을 망라하여 임진택의 <오월광주>에 접근하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 <오월광주>에서 기억되는 5·18의 모습이 어떠한 방식으로 형상화되는 지 살펴볼 수 있었다. 먼저, <오월광주> 사설은 사건 중심의 전개를 취하는 것이 특징 이다. 동시에 ‘학생’에서 ‘시민공동체’로 다시 ‘노동 민중’으로 변화 해 나가는 항쟁 주체 세력의 변모에 주목할 수 있다. 이는 1980년, 공 수대원으로 상징되는 국가권력의 폭력이 어떻게 증폭되는가를 반증 한다고 볼 수 있다. 음악적인 특징 면에서는 계면조와 우조의 적절한 배치를 통해 청 중의 몰입과 이완을 돕는다. 몰입을 통한 치유의 효과는 물론이고, 객관적 사실을 전달해 내기도 한다. 더불어 곳곳에 웃음의 요소를 배 치하여 분위기를 환기시키기도 한다. <오월광주>를 통해 5·18의 기억을 직접적으로 보유하는 이들은 물론이고, 기록물을 통한 간접적인 기억을 보유한 이들, 혹은 전혀 관련이 없는 이라도 <오월광주>의 연행현장에서 넘나들 수 있게 된 다. 그리고 이들 모두가 5·18을 망각하지 않고 기억해나갈 수 있게 한다. This study approched Lim Jin-teak`s newly created Pansori <May 18th of Gwangju> the way contains organizing Pansori song story, musical feature, and meaning of performance. This helps could go through Gwangju DemocratizationMovement is being remembered as <May 18th of Gwangju>. First, Pansori song story of <May 18th of Gwangju> is centers on the episode. Also remakable thing about the leading group change from ‘Student’ to ‘civic community’, and to ‘working class people’. The fact disprovied that power of the state`s violence how is getting worse. Resarching the musical feature aspects, Gyemyon-jo and Woo-jo were appropriate arranged. And it is possible that audience be immersed and relaxed. Through the immersion not only healing effect but also giving the fact. Moreover, for awaken atmosphere, using the element of laugh. Even if we don`t have any information of Gwangju Democratization Movement, we can play with the performance of <May 18th of Gwangju>. We must don`t forget the history of Gwangju Democratization Movement and keep remembering this fact.

        Conceptual Study for Tissue-Regenerative Biodegradable Magnesium Implant Integrated with Nitric Oxide-Releasing Nanofi bers

        The excessive initial corrosion rate of Mg is a critical limitation in the clinical application of biodegradable Mg implantsbecause the device loses its fi xation strength before the fractured bone heals. This study suggests a new approach to overcomethis hurdle by accelerating tissue regeneration instead of delaying the implant biodegradation. As angiogenesis is anessential process in early bone regeneration, a Mg implant coated with electrospun nanofi bers containing nitric oxide (NO),which physiologically promotes angiogenesis, is designed. The integrated device enables adjustable amounts of NO to bestored on the NO donor-conjugated nanofi ber coating, stably delivered, and released to the fractured bone tissue near theimplanted sites. An in vitro corrosion test reveals no adverse eff ect of the released NO on the corrosion behavior of the Mgimplant. Simultaneously, the optimal concentration level of NO released from the implant signifi cantly enhances tube networkformation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells without any cytotoxicity problem. This indicates that angiogenesis canbe accelerated by combining NO-releasing nanofi bers with a Mg implant. With its proven feasibility, the proposed approachcould be a novel solution for the initial stability problem of biodegradable Mg implants, leading to successful bone fi xation.

        Four new compounds from the bulbs of Lycoris aurea with neuroprotective effects against CoCl2 and H2O2-induced SH-SY5Y cell injuries

        Three new alkaloids, 2a-hydroxy-6-O-n-butyloduline,O-n-butyllycorenine, (-)-N-(chloromethyl)lycoramine(1–3), and a new phenolic compound, ((7S)-7-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-hydroxypropyl)-20-methylbenzene-30,60-diol (14), along with ten known alkaloids (4–13), wereisolated from the bulbs of Lycoris aurea collected fromHuaihua County of Hunan Province, China. Their structureswere elucidated by spectroscopic methods includingHRESIMS, UV, IR, and NMR. All the isolated compoundswere tested for their neuroprotective effects against CoCl2and H2O2-induced SH-SY5Y cell death. Compounds 1–7and 10 exhibited significant neuroprotective effects againstCoCl2-induced SH-SY5Y cell injury, while compounds1–5, 7, 10 and 12 showed obvious neuroprotective effectsagainst H2O2-induced SH-SY5Y cell death.

        경막 내 colistimethate 투여로 치료한 다제 내성 cinetobacter baumannii 뇌실염

        Acinetobacter species is a non-fermentative aerobic gram-negative coccobacillus that is an important pathogen found in nosocomial infections. Recently, multi-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (MDR-AB) infections have been increasing and pose a serious problem. Most such infections present as bacteremia, pneumonia, or a wound infection; however, CNS infections are very rare. We herein present a case of ventriculitis caused by MDR-AB in a 37-year old man after a neurosurgical intervention. The patient was successfully treated with intrathecal colistimethate.

      • Chromium picolinate가 고지방, 고설탕 식이를 섭취한 흰쥐의 체내 포도당, 지질 농도에 미치는 영향

        This study was carried out to investigate the effect of chromium picolinate supplementation on the metabolism of rats. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups and each group had 16 rats. Three experimental diets of CT(control), HS(high sucrose) and HF(high fat) were fed for 10 weeks and then chromium picolinate were supplemented to HS and HF groups for 6 weeks. Eight rats from each group were sacrificed after 10 weeks and another 8 rats from each group were sacrificed after 16 weeks. The results from this experiment were summarized as follows: The change of calorie intake and body weight was not significantly different among three groups after chromium picolinate supplementation. The plasma glucose and insulin concentration in CT group tended to increase after 16 weeks but those in HS and HF groups tended to decrease after chromium picolinate supplementation. The plasma triglyceride and cholesterol concentration of CT group tended to be higher than those of HS and HF groups which were supplemented by chromium picolinate. Our results indicate that chromium picolinate tend to reduce blood glucose, insulin, triglyceride, and cholesterol level but increase HDL-cholesterol level.

      • 과학적 근거 중심 평가를 도입한 마늘의 콜레스테롤 조절 기능성 평가

        Garlic (Allium sativum) is used a flavouring agent and a traditional medicine in human history. Numerous studies support the fact that garlic intake may have effect on cholesetrol-lowering. No claims currently have been made about garlic intake and cholesterol-lowering effect with respect to health claim in Korea. The aim of this study was to evaluate the scientific evidence on garlic intake and cholesterol-lowering effect by the scientific evidence-based rating system of Korean Food and Drug Administration for health claim. We carried out a comprehensive search of the Pubmed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library and manual searches of relevant journals for studies between 1955-2009. The search terms were garlic and Allium sativum in combination with cholesterol. Eighteen clinical stidies were included and reviewed to evaluate the strength of evidence that supports a relation between garlic intake and cholesterol-lowering effect. Our results suggests that level of scientific evidence on garlic intake and cholesterol-lowering effect is "other function (II) probable".

        정신분열병 환자에서 얼굴 영상의 작동기억 장애 : 기능자기공명영상연구

        Objectives : Impaired processing of facial information is one of the broad ranges of cognitive deficits seen in patients with Schi-zophrenia. We aimed to elucidate the differences in brain activities involved in the process of facial working memory between schizophrenic patients and healthy comparison subjects. Methods : Twelve patients with schizophrenia were recruited along with twelve demographically matched healthy volunteers as a comparison group. Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) was used to assess cortical activities during the Perfor-mance of a 2-back working memory paradigm using images of neutral faces as mnemonic content. Rcsults : The patient group performed the tasks with reduced accuracy. Group analysis revealed that the left fusiform gyrus, the right superior frontal gyrus, the bilateral middle frontal gyri/insula, the left middle temporal gyrus, the precuneus, the quadrangular lobules and the vermis of cerebellum showed decreased cortical activities in the patient group. On the other hand, an increased level of activation in the lateral prefrontal cortex and the pahetal lobule was observed from the patient group, all in the right hemisphere. Conulusion : A decreased level of activity in the left fusiform gyrus among the patient group implicates inefficient processing of facial information. An increased level of activation in prefrontal and parietal neural networks from the patient group confirms earlier findings on the impaired working memory of patients with schizophrenia.

        휴리스틱 체계적 모델을 통한 관광행동의 이해

        This paper aims to introduce the heuristic systematic mode and propose some implications that should be actively utilized in understanding tourist behavior. Heuristic systematic model is a theory that drawing conclusions through an intuitive way of thinking , rather than in the absence of a clear clue status on the basis of reasonable thinking. In everyday situations, we have many cases that the decision through an intuitive way of thinking than rational thinking through a decision . Tourist behavior in many cases decisions through intuitive thinking like this. But look came ahead of the leading tourism research through action research to understand the rational way of thinking is understood to consist of continuous action by the irrational mindset is not carried. In other words, in order to understand the irrational behavior by thinking in understanding the tourism action it should be to understand the heuristic systematic model prior , and should use them actively to understand the tourism behavior.

        Pseudomonas sp. CB-33이 생산하는 β-Xylosidase의 특성

        Pseudomonas sp. CB-33 균주의 배양 상등액으로부터 ammonium sulfate 침전법, PEI 침전법, DEAE-Sephadex column chromatography, gel column chromatography 그리고 preparative disc gel electrophoresis를 이용하여 β-xylosidase를 정제하였다. 정제된 효소의 Km 값은 4.6 mM이었다. 효소활성의 최적 pH는 7.0이었으며 pH 6.5~9 범위에서 안정하였다. 최적 활성온도는 45℃였으며, 각 온도에서 30분 동안 정치하였을 때 35℃까지 안정하였다. SDS-PAGE에 의해 효소의 분자량을 측정해 본 결과 약 44,000dalton이었다. HG^2+, Cu^2+ 그리고 Zn^2+는 효소활성을 저해하였고, 여러 화학변형제로 효소에 처리해 본 결과 tyrosine과 tryptophan이 효소활성에 관여하고 있을 것으로 추정된다. 여러가지 기질에 대한 특이성을 조사해 본 결과 pNPX 뿐만 아니라 pNPA도 분해하였다. Xylan에 endoxylanase만을 작용시켰을 때보다 β-xylosidase와 endoxylanase를 혼합작용 시켰을 때 xylan의 가수분해도는 약 2배 정도 증가하였다. 그리고 Pseudomonas sp. CB-33 균주가 생산하는 xylan 분해효소는 oat spelt xylan보다 birchwood xylan에 보다 효과적으로 작용하였다. The β-xylosidase was purified 99-fold from the culture supernatant of Pseudomonas sp. CB-33 by ammonium sulfate precipitation, PEI precipitation, DEAE-Sephadex column chromatography, Sephadex G-75 gel filtration chromatography and preparative disc gel electrophoresis. Molecular weight of the enzyme was estimated to be 44,000 by SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The enzyme has a pH optimum for activity at 7.0 and is stable over pH 6.5~9.0. The optimal temperature of the enzyme was 45℃, and it enzymatic activity was completely inactivated at 55℃ for 30 min. Km value of the enzyme for p-nitrophenyl- β-D-xylopyranoside was calculated to be 4.6 mM. The effect of various reagents on the β-xylosidase activity was investigated. The enzyme activity was completely inhibited by Hg^2+, Cu^2+, and Zn^2+. The β-xylosidase was inactivated by tryptophan-specific reagent, N-bromosuccinimide and the enzyme was competitively inhibited by xylose. The β-xylosidase and endoxylanase from Pseudomonas sp. CB-33 hydrolized xylan synergically. The purified enzyme also showed α-L-arabinofuranosidase activity.
