      • Glow放電法에 의한 α-Si蒸着裝置의 製作과 그 試料의 特性

        Glow방전법에 의해서 SiH_4를 분해하여 α-Si 박막을 얻을수 있는 장치를 제작하였다. 이 SiH_4기체는 수소기체속에서 10%로 희석되였으며, 진공방전함속에서 rf 전압에 의하여 분해된 Si는 유리기판위에 증착된다. α-Si박막은 1~1.6 A˚/sec의 증착율로 약 7000 A˚의 두께까지 증착되였다. α-Si 박막의 흡수계수는, 2.3 eV의 photon energy 영역에서 약 10^4 cm^-1이고, 그 optical gap은 약 2.1 eV였다. 이 박막의 증착율은 전극간격에 따라 변하고 있으나, 최적전극간격과 기체유입량은 각각 2.6cm와 1~2cc/min였다. Apparatus capable of producing α-Si film by the glow discharge method was designed and constructed in this study. The monosilane gas which is diluted in H_2 gas to 10% is decomposed in the reaction chamber by rf oscillation. The apparatus is composed of a reaction chamber, a rf generator, a cooling system, etc. The α-Si thin film is produced at a deposition rate of 1~1.6 A˚/sec to a thickness of about 7000 A˚. Its absorption coefficient is about 10^4 cm^-1 in the photon energy region of ~2.3 eV, and its optical gap is about 2.1 eV. The deposition rate for the film is controlled by varying the distance between electrode and substrate. The optimum distance and gas flow is about 2.6 cm and 1~2 cc/min, respectively.

        Some allylamine compounds which are benzothiazole substituants in stead of naphthylring in naftifine, antifungal agents, were sythesized as potential antimycotics. The intermediate Schiff bases that were obtained by condensation of 2-aminobenzothiazole and trans-cinnamaldehyde, were reduced to imine compounds to give allylamines(5a-5d) after mrthylation. These compounds which were tested in vitro against five fungal cell lines containing Trichophyton mentagrophytes. showed no activity in 0.1∼100 μg/ml range.

        혈청이 마우스 간 세포주 BNL CL.2의 Nitric Oxide 생성에 미치는 영향

        마우스 간 세포주인 BNL CL.2의 시험관내 배양에서 혈청과 IFN-γ가 세포주의 nitric oxide(NO) 생성과 세포 손상에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 실험을 하였다. 혈청이 공급된 배양에서 IFN-γ에 의한 세포 생존율은 거의 변동이 없었으나, 혈청을 제거한 배양에서는 약 65%의 생존율이 유지되었으며, NO 생성 억제제인 N -monomethy-L-arginine (NMA)의 첨가는 농도 의존적으로 세포의 생존율을 감소시켰다. 혈청이 제거된 BNL CL.2세포주는 IFN-γ단독 처리에서도 NO 를 생성할 수 있었으며, IFN-γ와 lipopolysaccharide (LPS)의 복합 처리는 세포주의 NO 생성을 상승적으로 증가시켰다. 또한 protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) inhibitor인 herbimycin A와 genistein에 의해서 NO 생성이 억제되어 PTK의 활성이 혈청이 고갈된 BNL CL.2 세포에서 NO의 생성에 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있기 때문으로 판단된다. IFN-γ의 독성은 혈청을 제거시킬 때 NO 생성 억제제에 상승적으로 간 세포를 손상시키며, 이때 NO가 IFN-γ에 의해 유도된 손상을 어느 정도 억제시키는 것을 알 수 있었다. Nitric oxide (NO) plays an important role in immunologic defense, and influences upon the functioning of secretory tissues and cells. It also exhibits cytotoxic/cytostatic activity as one of major operating effectors of the cellular immunity system. We investigated the effects of serum on the cell damages and NO production in the mouse liver cell line BNL CL.2 to establish the role of NO. We observed that, when BNL CL.2 cells were cultured in serum-free medium, they were induced to cell damage by the stimulation of IFN-γalone or IFN-γplus LPS. Serumstarved cells showed large amount of nitrite accumulation and NO synthase (NOS) expression in response to IFN-γalone in dose-and time-dependent manners, but serum-supplied cells did not. The production of NO was blocked by protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) inhibitors, genistein and herbimycin. These results suggest that the deprivation of serum in the BNL CL.2 cell culture medium might primed with the cells to produce NO when the cells are triggered by IFN-γ and the involvement of PTK signal transduction pathway in the expression of NOS gene in murine hepatocytes.

        DDC,MEA,WR-2721의 放射線 防護效果에 關한 硏究

        放射線障害 豫防藥劑의 人體適用은 副作用으로 臨床的 利用이 되지 못한 實情으로서 生理學的 및 藥理學的 毒性, 物理學的 諸性質, 藥劑의 作用機轉究明 및 臨床的 技術開發이 未洽하여 放射線 障害者에 對한 治療는 對症療法에 不過한 實情이다. 著者들은 放射線에 依한 人體障害豫防에 必要한 基礎資料를 얻기 위하여 現在까지 比較的 毒性이 적고 化學的으로 安定하며 藥效가 優秀하다고 알려진 DDC, MEA, WR-2721을 選定하여 實驗動物 非近交系 Swiss Webster(NIH-GP)마우스에 利用한 放射線 防護作用에 關한 實驗結果는 다음과 같다. 1) 各種 放射線 防護劑(DDC, MEA, WR-2721)의 마우스에 대한 適定 投與量은 各各 DDC; 1,000, MEA; 200, WR-2721; 400mg/kg이었다. 2) 實驗動物에 放射線 反致死線量 LD50/10에 對한 藥劑의 防護效果을SMS DDC;1.2, MEA; 1.4, WR-2721; 1.9이었고 LD50/30에 對 한 DMF는 DDC; 1.7, MEA; 1.8, WR-2721; 2.5이었다. 3) 空腹 小?腺(Jejunum crypt)의 放射線平均致死線量(Do)에 對한 防護效果 DMF는 DCC; 1.07, MEA; 1.21, WR-2721; 1.76이었고, 小?腺細胞의 致死線 平均致死線量에 對한 DMF는 DDC; 1.04, MEA; 1.08, WR-2721; 1.38이었다. 4) 以上으로 上記 3種의 放射線 防護劑中 WR-2721의 放射線 防護效果가 가장 優秀하였고 이 結果는 向後 臨床的 適用에 關한 硏究의 基礎資料가 될 것으로 思料된다. At present, the treatments of the radiation-induced diseases are only performing by the palliative treatment technique. Moreover, radiation protective agents are a little toxic for human being and this seriously limits their applicability with various complications in clinical uses. Accordingly, as a part of the aim of gain of the basic data for protective roles of some radioprotectors, the present investingation was carried out to evaluate the comparative radioprotective effects by the administration of DDC, MEA, WR-2721. Results are shown for statistically significant analysis and correlation with each group as follows; 1. The proper doses of the radioprotectors were DDC; 1,550mg/kg, MEA; 450mg/kg, WR-2721; 780mg/kg of the mouse body weight. 2. DMF(Dose modification factor) of LD50/10 and LD50/30 for whole body irradiation was DDC; 1.2, MEA; 1.4, WR-2721; 1.9 and DDC; 1.7, MEA; 1.8 and WR-2721; 2.5 respectively. 3. DMF for radiation reaction of jejunal crypt was DDC; 1.07, MEA; 1.21 and WR-2721; 1.76 and that of jejunal crypt cell was DDC; 1.04, MEA; 1.08 and WR-2721; 1.38 respectively. 4. Conclusively, WR-2721 was the most effective drung among the three radioprotectors and this result must be a supportive data for further study for clinical application.

      • 국균세포벽을 모델로 한 새로운 고정화담체의 개발

        The purpose of this investigation was to develop a new carrier using chitin and glucan as the model for Aspergillus oryzae cell wall. In case of the ratio of chitin and glucan(3/1), the activity of the immobilized protease had higher than that of model(chitin/glucan=1/3) and carriers were formed gel. In case of soluble chitin and glucan treated with calcium carbonate, there were a 1.8-fold increase in activity of immobilized protease compared with untreated chitin. The scanning electron microscope image showed that a pore size of this carrier had a homogenized pore size and a smooth surface.

      • 합병증이 동반된 Meckel씨 게실 2례 보고

        합병증이 동반된 Meckel씨 게실을 가진 환자의 치료에 대한 필요성은 과정이 문제이다. 하지만 우연히 만나는 게실의 처치는 논란 중이다. 부수적인 게실 절제술(incidental diverticulectomy)의 제안자는 증상이 있는 게실의 외과적 처치는 중요한 이환 및 사망률은 지적한다. 이를 반대하는 사람들은 전 생애를 통해 합병증의 위험성이 낮게 나타나므로 필요가 없다고한다. 게실의 예방적 제거는 개복술시 우연히 발견 될 때 시행한다. 이는 남아있는 게실이 나중에 합병증을 일으키는 것보다 술후 합병증의 위험성이 매우 적음을 알 수 있다. 저자들은 합병증이 동반된 Meckel씨 게실 2예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 더불어 보고하는 바이다. The necessity for therapy with complicated Meckel's diverticular is a matter of course.However, management of the incidentally encountered diverticulum is controversial. Proponents of incidental diverticulectomy point to the significant morbidity and mortality rates of surgical treatment of symptomatic divenicular. Other authors base their opposition to incidental diveniculectomy on the low risk of complications developing during lifetime. Prophyillctic removal of the diveniculum is indicated when it is found incidentally at laparotomy, because there are few postoperative complications and the risk exists that the remaining diverticulum may be the cause of later complication. The 2 cases of complicated Meckel's diverticulum are reported with a brief review of literature.

      • 재발성 류마티즘 환자에서 발작의 유발인자

        Background and Objectives : Palindromic rheumatism (PR) is known to be triggered without any obviously inciting events in most patients, although, in a few cases, attacks have been noted to relate to another events such as weather change, childbirth, ingestion of certain foods, or over-exercise. The aim of this study was to characterize the triggering factors on palindromic attacks. Materials and Methods : We evaluated sixty-four patients with PR for the presence of triggering factors and the relationship between attacks and triggering factors by interview of patients. We considered that there was an probable association between episodes and PR, if episodes within 24 hours prior to PR had triggered at least 50% of all attacks and a definite association between episodes and PR, if episodes within 24 hours prior to PR had triggered 100% of all attacks. Results : In 15 patients (35.9%), there was a possible association between episodes of PR and initiating events. In 8 patients (12.5%), there was a definite association between episodes of PR and initiating events. The triggering factors were physical over-activity including exercise (19/64: 29.7%), foods, such as rawfish, crab, and chicken, including alcohol (19/96: 19.8%). However, there were no difference between the groups with and without the triggering factor in sex ratio, duration and onset of PR, the positive rate of rheumatoid factor and involved sites. Conclusion : Our observations showed that PR was triggered by physical over-activity more than in previous reports and hypersensitivity to foods was a causative factor in some patients with PR. However, patients with triggering factors had a similiar clinical profile to patients without triggering factors.
