        논에서 물과 양분관리에 따른 메탄(CH_4), 아산화질소(N_2O) 배출 특성

        물관리방법을 달리한 상시담수와 간단관개에서 메탄과 아산화질소의 배출 양상과 서로 다른 종류의 유기물원 및 질소비료 시용에 따른 메탄과 아산화질소 배출을 비교하고 저감 할 수 있는 방법을 찾기 위해 본 시험을 실시하였다. 물관리방법으로는 상시담수 (이앙∼출수 35일까지 담수)와 이앙 35일 이후 중간낙수한 간단관개 (중간낙수기간 20일),그리고 시비방법으로는 토양을 검정한 시비량인 토양검정, 토양 검정시비량+볏짚 돈분액비, LCU 완효성비료 그리고 N을 시용하지 않은 대조구 등을 처리하여 메탄 및 아산화질소 배출량을 측정하였다. 메탄 배출량은 간단관개보다 상시담수에서 높았고, 아산화질소 배출량은 이와 반대로 나타났다. 유기물과 비료시용 종류에 따른 메탄과 아산화질소 배출량은 액비와 검정시비+볏짚시용구에서 가장 높았으며, LCU 완효성비료구에서 가장 낮았다. 지구온난화잠재력으로 환산한 온실가스 배출은 물관리 조건에서 상시담수가 간단관개보다 170∼208% 높았으며, 요소를 시용하고 상시담수를 기준 한 것과 간단관개로 물 관리하여 각 처리에 따라 온실가스 배출을 비교하면 요소는 41.4%, LCU 완효성비료 55.8%로 온실가스 배출을 줄일 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 비료이용효율은 LCU완효성비료, 액비>검정시비+볏짖>검정시비 순이었다. Emission of methane and nitrous oxide affected by nitrogen fertilizer materials were measured simultaneously in rice paddy fields under flooding and intermittent irrigation in 2000. Studies focused on mitigating CH_4 emission from rice paddy fields are summarized and the possibilities and limits applied to world's rice cultivation are discussed. The mitigation options are water management, soil amendments, organic matter management, different tillage, rotation, and cultivar selection. Altering water management, in particular promoting midseason aeration by short-term drainage, is one of the most promising strategies, although these practices may be limited to the rice paddy fields where the irrigation system is well prepared. The test site was divided into two water managements: a continuously flooded plot which was maintained flooded by constant irrigation from May to September, and an intermittently drained plot in which short-term (20days) draining practices were performed one times during the flooding period. By total emission of GHGs converted by global warming potential (GWP), flooding plots were higher 170~208% than intermittent irrigation plots. For emission of GHGs in fertilizer materials, it was high in the order of Swine slurry>Urea+Rice straw>Urea>LCU. Basing on GHGs emission of urea fertilization under flooding as baseline GWP of urea fertilization and Latex-coated urea under intermittent irrigation showed lower GHGs emission by 41.4% and 55.8%, respectively. In this case fertilizer use efficiency (kg unhulled rice/kg of applied N) were 18.2~20.2 and 18.7~19.0 and 9.3 and 5.8~6.6 for Swine slurry and LCU and Urea+Rice straw and Urea in the continuously flooded and intermittently drained plot.

      • Insulated Gate Transistor의 설계 및 제작

        In this paper, we discuss fabrication and characteristics of the singular and the array-type insulated gate transisters(IGT). The starting wafers were two kinds: for a singular type IGT, p type(100) silicon with n??buffer and n??epitaxial layer; for a array-type IGT, p type(111) silicon with the n??epi layer. The channel regions were defined using the self-aligned double-diffusion process. Aluminum and poly silicon gate were used in the singular and array-type IGT, respectively. Characteristics of the singular IGT shows threshold voltage of 4 V, breakdown voltage of 73V and forward voltage drop of 0.7V. On the whole, the experimental results were in agreement with the theoretical ones when comparing the breakdown voltage and forward voltage drop. On the other hand, array-type IGT shows poor I-V characteristics, relatively low breakdown voltage and large leakage current.

        Existing manufacturing system has consumed too much energy, space and resource in micro parts manufacturing. To improve this, micro factory system is suggested. But it is difficult to get the high reliability in the assembly, production and inspection of the minute parts because the construction of the micro factory has been started just before. In this study, we will build the digital manufacturing simulation on the micro factory's process and verify the production and assembly process using this simulation.

        This paper presents virtual machining system in order to realize turning process in virtual space. A reliable virtual turning process simulation was developed based on the surface shaping system which is capable of considering geometric model, thermal error model, and vibration model. Accuracy of surface shape resulting from proposed machining simulator was verified experimentally. This paper also developed the watchdog agent that continuously assessed, diagnosed, and predicted performance of products and machines in machining. The Watchdog agent extracted feature signal using time-frequency analysis among various signals from multi-sensor and evaluated machining condition using performance confidence value.

        Histiocytosis X is the abnormal proliferation of histiocytes and usually a massive aggregation of eosinophilic leukocytes. The clinical features and prognosises of subclasses of histiocytosis X depend on the severity and extent of the organ involvement. The subclasses include Letterer-Siwe disease(Acute disseminated histiocytosis X), eosinophilic granuloma, Hand-Schuller-Christian disease. Hand-Schuller-Christian desease(acute, subacute form) refers to the form of disease that is most often fatal because of the widespread skeletal, extraskeletal lesion; this usually affects infants and children less than 3 years of age. Eosinophilic granuloma(histiocytosis X, localized) refers to a chronic form of disease with skeletal lesion; It usually affects children and young adult. Hand-Schuller-Christian disease(chronic form) refers to a chronic form of disease with skeltal, extraskeletal lesions. It usually affects children over the age of 3 years. In our hospital, 8 year old female patient visited complaining of painful swelling of mandibular angle, right side. We diagnosed eosinophilic granuloma and curetted the lesiones and refered to Dept. pediatrics for chemotherapy. We present 2 cases to you with literatures.

      • Polyphenol류의 항산화성 및 항돌연변이성에 관한 연구

        Total and free phenolics contents, nitrite scavenging activity of fruits and vegetables(30 kinds) were investgated, Total content were 100-400mg% level, but the nitrite scavenging acitivity was not correlated with phenolics content. Also, 26 synthetic phenolics were investigated to relationship of chemical structure between antioxidantal activity by nitrite scavenging method, and antimutagenic capacity. Increasing of hydroxyl group number was enhanced activity, and meta substitution had highest activity than ortho- or para substituents.

      • Temperature Dependence of Indigo Light Emission from Mesoporous ZnO/Porous Silicon Nanocomposites

        <P>Nanocomposites of mesoporous zinc oxide (ZnO) and porous silicon (PS) were prepared through a hydrothermal method. Room-temperature (RT) and temperature-dependent photoluminescence (PL) were performed to investigate the optical properties and temperature dependence of the indigo emission peak from the ZnO/PS nanocomposites. An indigo emission peak from the nanocomposites and a red emission peak from the PS were observed in the case of the mesoporous ZnO/PS nanocomposites. At 10 K, the nanocomposites exhibited four emission peaks at 3.108, 2.929, 2.730, and 2.248 eV, which correspond to the DX, AX, DX-1LO, and DX-2LO phonon replicas, respectively. With an increase in temperature from 10 to 275 K, the curves in the intensities of the emission peaks formed an inverted 'S' shape while their energies remained nearly constant. At 300 K, however, only the AX emission peak was observed; the DX and LO phonon replicas disappeared. The intensities of the DX and AX emission peaks exhibited anomalous behaviors.</P>

      • Optical parameters of boron-doped ZnO nanorods grown by low-temperature hydrothermal reaction.

        <P>Sol-gel spin-coating was used to deposit ZnO seed layers onto quartz substrates, and ZnO nanorods doped with various concentrations of B (i.e., BZO nanorods) ranging from 0 to 2.0 at% were hydrothermally grown on the ZnO seed layers. The effects of B doping on the absorption coefficient, optical band gap, Urbach energy, refractive index, extinction coefficient, single-oscillator energy, dispersion energy, average oscillator strength, average oscillator wavelength, dielectric constant, and optical conductivity of the hydrothermally grown BZO nanorods were investigated. The optical band gaps were 3.255, 3.243, 3.254, 3.258, and 3.228 eV for the nanorods grwon at 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 at% B, respectively. B doping increased the Urbach energy from 40.7 to 65.1 meV for the nanorods grown at 0 and 2.0 at% B, respectively, and significantly affected the dispersion energy, the single-oscillator energy, the average oscillator wavelength, the average oscillator strength, the refractive index, and the optical conductivity of the hydrothermally grown BZO nanorods.</P>

      • The comparative study in use of Non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs effects on bone mineral density between Rheumatoid arthritis and Osteoarthritis

        The NSAIDs and celecoxib in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis had been used for a long time.However, in vitro animal model, these drugs had been reported that inhibit PGE2 and suppressed the PGE2 production by osteoblasts is involved in the mechanism of bone resorption recently. so the influence of NSAIDs and celecoxib on the patient`s actual bone density was studied. We enrolled 445 patients (Rheumatoid arthritis 256, Osteoarthritis 189), and investigated an use of NSAIDs effects on bone mineral density. All patients included in the study of the patients receiving bisphosphonate. To evaluation of bone mineral density, the Hologic QDR dual energy x ray absorptiometry was regularly performed at intervals of one year, but one-year intervals to observe changes in bone mineral density thought to be too short observation period, two-year trend of change in bone mineral density measured. The NSAIDs administered in each of the patients and the NSAIDs have adverse effects on patients were treated on behalf of celecoxib. Both patients with rheumatoid arthritis, the average steroid prednisolone 10 mg / day was in use, the NSAIDs of the 140 people, the celecoxib was used the 116 patients. The patients with osteoarthritis did not use steroids, NSAIDs was used 106 patients, celecoxib was used 83 patients. In patients with rheumatoid arthritis, the average disease duration of 8 years, the average age is 70 years old and received treatment with NSAIDs or celecoxib period was an average of 4 years, in patients with degenerative arthritis, 7.8 years, 69 years old, was 3 years. During the observation period of the average change of the T-score showed increased in both groups. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis, lumbar portion of 0.11, hip portion 0.01, and patients with degenerative arthritis, lumbar portion 0.15, hip portion 0.06, were increased. Statistically in the groups with the administration of NSAIDs or celecoxib on bone mineral density did not affect. However, The use of bisposphonate was significant (p<0.05). In conclusion, the treatment of NSAIDs or celecoxib did not affect bone mineral density in rheumatoid arthritis patients or patients with degenerative arthritis.
