        열화된 교각 콘크리트의 보수를 위한 건식 숏크리트 재료의 개발 및 성능 평가

        PURPOSES : This study aimed to develop high-performance concrete repair materials for the cross-sectional repair of deteriorated bridge concrete. METHODS : To derive the optimal mix using the dry shotcrete method, experiments were conducted to develop an appropriate performance in terms of durability and watertightness based on basic experiments on materials. By mixing silica fume, GGBFS, and natural fibers, this study compared the differences in each variable. Each variable was compared using compressive strength, flexural strength, plastic shrinkage, chlorine ion penetration resistance, and freeze-thaw tests. RESULTS : By mixing silica fume and natural fibers, watertightness and durability were secured, and by adding an expansion material and polymer powder, a material that exhibited suitable performance as a repair material was developed. The material demonstrated suitable performance in terms of compressive strength, freeze–thaw resistance, plastic shrinkage crack resistance, and chlorine ion penetration resistance. CONCLUSIONS : The repair material developed in this study has a higher performance than repair mortar, and because it uses a dry shotcrete method, the process and post-processing are simpler than the wet shotcrete method; therefore, it is believed to be more efficient for repair work.

      • 소형 3차원 산란광 패턴 검사 시스템 프로토타입 개발

        Optical scattering measurement methods are one of the best ways to reveal surface statistics without contacting the object. Conventional measurement systems generally collect scattered light only at designated position with fixed incident condition. However, it is insufficient to analyze to the complex scattering phenomena. The detector at given positions may miss to collect important scattering characteristics that reflect surface information. In order to analyze scattering characteristics from the object that we are interested, the measurement system that can detect spatially scattered lights from the object is needed. Therefore, we developed the prototype of miniaturized 3D -scattering light pattern measurement system. The size of the system is about 296 mm * 234 mm * 374 mm. This system can change angle of incidence and measure 3D-scattering light pattern from the object. Experimental results showed that our developed prototype of miniaturized 3D-scattering light pattern measurement system have nanowatt-level sensitivity and can measure wide range of scattered light pattern.

        체육학에서 실용주의 연구의 동향

        The purpose of this study was to summarize and organize thirty-four pieces of research on pragmatism in domestic Kinesiology, which were published from 1983 to 2010. Two articles on pragmatism in Kinesiology were published in the 1980s, five in the 1990s, and six in the 2000s. According to the subject, these were classified as 'pragmatism and physical education', 'pragmatism and sports', 'pragmatism and dance', 'pragmatism and philosophy of physical education', and 'pragmatism and thought of physical education'. One article on scholars who studied pragmatism in Kinesiology was published in the 1980s, six in the 1990s, and fourteen in the 2000s. According to the subject, these were classified as 'John Dewey and physical education', 'John Dewey and dance', 'John Dewey and sports', 'John Dewey and thought of physical education', 'John Dewey and philosophy of physical education', as well as 'Peirce and dance'. So far, the focus is on the Kinesiology in the research related to pragmatism. After that, dance, sports, and 'thought of physical education'. It is considered that this phenomena is mostly influenced by John Dewey who was a scholar of pragmatism. However, it is shame that new research cannot be studied. Pragmatism is just one of the mainstream concept. This thought of philosophy would be the basis of another thought of philosophy and it is considered that it should be. Therefore, it is necessary to attempt the study on pragmatism in Kinesiology in terms of reflective perspective on existing research. Furthermore, various research on Kinesiology should be published on the basis of pragmatism. 이 연구는 1983년부터 2010년까지 국내 체육학에서 실용주의 관련 연구물 32편을 조사하여 년도별, 주제별로 요약 정리한 것이다. 체육학에서 실용주의 관련 연구는 1980년대 3편, 1990년대 3편, 2000년대 5편의 연구가 있었다. 주제별로는 첫째, 실용주의와 체육교육. 둘째, 실용주의와 스포츠. 셋째, 실용주의와 무용. 넷째, 실용주의와 체육철학. 다섯째, 실용주의와 체육사상으로 파악할 수 있었다. 체육학에서 실용주의 학자 관련 연구물은 1980년대 1편, 1990년대 6편, 2000년대 14편의 연구가 있었다. 주제별로는 첫째, 존 듀이와 체육교육. 둘째, 존 듀이와 무용. 셋째, 존 듀이와 스포츠. 넷째, 존 듀이와 체육사상. 다섯째, 존 듀이와 체육철학. 여섯째, 퍼스와 무용으로 분류할 수 있었다. 지금까지의 체육학에서 실용주의 관련 연구물들은 체육교육에 편중되어 있음을 알 수 있었고, 그 뒤로 무용과 스포츠 그리고 체육사상인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 현상은 실용주의 학자인 존 듀이의 영향이 큰 것으로 사료되지만 다양한 연구물들이 제시되지 못하는 것은 아쉬운 일이다. 실용주의가 체육학에서 더 가치를 발현하기 위해서는 체육학자들의 고정된 관심사에서 벗어나 개방성으로서 다가가는 자세가 필요하며, 스포츠에서 얻어지는 결과론적 유용성을 보다 면밀하게 따져보아야 할 것이다. 이는 실용주의로 해석하는 체육을 광범위한 의미로 접근할 수 있으며 스포츠의 발전에 긍정적으로 작용될 것이다.

        Publication Rates for Abstracts Presented by Korean Investigators at Major Radiology Meetings

        Objective: To determine the publication rate of abstracts presented by Korean investigators at national and international radiological meetings, and to identify predictive factors of publication. Materials and Methods: Abstracts presented at the annual meetings of the Korean Radiological Society (KRS), and abstracts presented by Korean investigators at the annual meetings of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and European Congress of Radiology (ECR) from 2001 to 2002 were searched for subsequent publication, using PubMed and the Korean Medical Database. The following variables were evaluated. 1) The overall publication rate; 2) the publication rates according to the radiological subspecialty, presentation type (oral or poster), sample size ( 20, 21 50, or > 50), study design (prospective or retrospective), statistical analysis (present or absent), and study outcome (positive or negative); 3) the time to publication; 4) the journal where the study was published; 5) consistency between the abstract and the final publication. Results: Of 1,097 abstracts, 301 (27.4%) were subsequently published, at an average of 15.8 13.8 months after presentation in 48 journals. The publication rates for studies presented at the RSNA (35.4%) and ECR (50.5%) conferences were significantly higher than that for the KRS conference (23.6%, p < 0.05). Vascular/interventional radiology studies had the highest publication rate (33.1%), whereas musculoskeletal radiology studies had the lowest publication rate (17.1%). Other factors associated with subsequent publication were prospective design, use of statistical testing, and a positive study outcome. Conclusion: The publication rate is significantly lower for the KRS (23.6%) meeting abstracts as compared to those of the RSNA (35.4%) and ECR (50.5%). Prospective design, use of statistical testing, and positive study outcome have a statistically significant effect on the publication rate.         Could real-time ultrasonography guidance be useful for the effective deployment of FemoSeal in common femoral arteriotomy?

        A vascular closure device is used for hemostasis after a procedure involving an arterial puncture. The increasing frequency of endovascular arterial interventions has caused these devices to play a more important role in clinical practice. FemoSeal is a popular vascular closure device, and its safety and effectiveness have been verified. However, complications still occur in some cases, including even disastrous complications on occasion. Even with little experience, it is possible to reduce the complication rate by using real-time ultrasonography monitoring during the deployment of this device. Based on our experiences, presented herein, we suggest that complications related to FemoSeal could be reduced by using our method.
