        인천 연안역의 수온 및 염분의 계절 변화

        국립수산진흥원의 한국 연안 어장환경 오염조사 결과 보고서를 사용하여, 인천 연안역의 수온 및 염분의 계절변화의 특성을 살펴 보았다. 수온의 연변화는 인천항과 소래에 이르는 조간대 해역이 만의 바깥쪽 해역보다도 수온의 연평균이 높고, 진폭도 크며, 위상도 빨랐다. 염분의 연변화는 인천항과 소래에 이르는 조간대 해역이만의 바깥쪽 해역보다도 연평균은 낮고, 진폭은 크며, 위상은 느리게 나타났다. 이러한 특성은 T-S도를 이용하여 나타낸 수괴의 계절 변화에서도 뚜렷하게 볼 수 있었다. 즉, 인천 연안역의 수괴는 수온과 염분의 연교차가 큰 인천과 소래에 이르는 조간대 해역과 염분 변동에 영향을 주는 강수나 증발, 담수 유입의 계절적 변화에 비교적 영향을 적게 받는 만의 바깥쪽 해역으로 구분할 수 있었다. 또한 얕은 수심과 강한 조류로 인하여 수층이 연중 거의 혼합된 분포를 보이고 있었다. The seasonal data obtained at National Fisheries Research and Development Institute from 1989 to 1994 were analyzed to investigate the seasonal variations of temperature and salinity in Incheon coastal area. In the tidal flats covering from Incheon harbor to Sorae, the mean temperatures are higher, the amplitudes of temperatures are larger, and the phases of temperatures are faster than those of outer tidal flats. In the tidal flats, the mean salinities are lower, its amplitudes are larger, and its phases are later than those of outer tidal flats. These suggest that Incheon coastal area may be divided into two areas: the tidal flats from Incheon harbor to Sorae, which is largely influenced by the seasonal variation of solar heating, precipitation and evaporation and the outer tidal flats, which is slightly influenced by the effects of seasonal variation of salinity.

        Optimal Allocation Model of Anti-Artillery Radar by Using ArcGIS and its Specifications

        It is very crucial activities that Korean army have to detect and recognize enemy’s locations and types of weapon of their artillery firstly for effective operation of friendly force’s artillery weapons during wartime. For these activities, one of the most critical artillery weapon systems is the anti-artillery radar (hereafter; radars) for immediate counter-fire operations against the target. So, in early wartime these radar’s roles are very important for minimizing friendly force’s damage because arbiters have to recognize a several enemy’s artillery positions quickly and then to take an action right away. Up to date, Republic of Korea Army for tactical artillery operations only depends on individual commander’s intuition and capability. Therefore, we propose these radars allocation model based on integer programming that combines ArcGIS (Geographic Information System) analysis data and each radar’s performances which include allowable specific ranges of altitude, azimuth (FOV; field of view) and distances for target detection, and weapons types i.e., rocket, mortars and cannon ammo etc. And we demonstrate the effectiveness of their allocation’s solution of available various types of radar asset through several experimental scenarios. The proposed model can be ensured the optimal detection coverage, the enhancement of artillery radar’s operations and assisting a quick decision for commander finally.

        군 공역 할당 최적화 기법

        공군의 비행 공역(이하, 공역)은 군 조종사의 특수비행, 시험비행 및 기타 작전, 훈련 비행을 위하여 설정한 구역을 말한다. 현재 공군의 공역 할당 방식은 주간 단위로 각 비행부대에서 원하는 공역 요구사항을 상위 부서 담당자가 경험과 직관에 의해 종합적인 고려요소를 판단하여 공역을 할당하고 있다. 하지만, 각 비행부대의 요구사항을 합리적이고 공정하게 반영하기에는 어려움이 있다. 이로 인해 원하지 않는 공역이 할당되는 결과가 초래되고, 이를 조정하기 위한 각 비행부대간의 공역 변경 협조 업무 등의 추가적인 업무가 발생됨에 따라 각 비행부대 비행스케줄러의 업무가 과다하게 발생한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 정수계획법을 기반으로 한 공역할당 구축 최적화 모델을 제시하고 실제 한국공군 공역할당과 관련된 사례 연구를 다룬다. 본 사례 적용 및 분석 결과는 매우 효율적이고 합리적인 공역할당 결과를 보여준다. The Air force`s military operations area(hereafter, airspace) is the airspace that is for training and special flights, flight tests and other operations. The current method of airspace allocation of the airforce is as follows. First, the person in charge of airspace allocation collects airspace requirements of each airbase on a weekly basis, and then allocates the airspace by hand with his own experience and intuition. As a result, each air base has unwanted airspace and thus additional task such as exchanging airspace between each air base to mediate this problem has been caused. In order to solve this problem, we propose the optimal airspace allocation method based on integer programming, and deals with the experiment results of Korea Air force`s real application that have fair and reasonable outputs in this problem.

        The stabilizer is used to keep the obturator of underwater vehicle gone into the water after launch from the shipboard and the stable flight attitude. In this paper, we estimate the probability of failure, MPP(Most Probable failure Point) and reliability index using the reliability analysis method for any failure criteria with considering random variables as the loading condition and material property. Also, PSA(Probabilistic Sensitivity Analysis) is conducted for each random variables. Results of this paper would be used for RBDO(Reliability-Based Design Optimization) in the future work.

        Study of the Scintillation Properties and of the Proton-Induced Radiation Damage in the K2CeCl5 Single Crystal

        In this paper, we report on the scintillation properties of the K2CeCl5 single crystal before and after proton irradiation. The crystal of this scintillator was grown by using the Czochralski pulling technique and it was cut with dimension of 6×4×3 mm3. The scintillation properties, such as the absolute light yield, the proportionality of the response and the energy resolution, as functions of the γ-ray energy were calculated prior to the proton beam exposure. The light output deviates from a linear response by 10 % in the energy range between 31-keV and 1275-keV. Irradiation of the K2CeCl5 single crystal was carried out at the Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Science. In order to measure the induced radiation damage in the K2CeCl5 crystal, we subjected the sample to the 45-MeV proton beam of the MC-50 cyclotron and the scintillation properties were measured prior to and after the irradiation. The emission spectra before and after the irradiation showed the same emission band between wavelengths of 350 nm and 400 nm with a peak center at 375 nm. After exposure to the proton beam, the K2CeCl5 single crystal showed a lower light yield and a deteriorated energy resolution. In addition, we compared the decay time of the crystal before and after the proton irradiation.

      • 우라늄 계열 비평형 연대측정법을 위한 해양 퇴적물로부터 우라늄 및 토륨의 분리 및 정량

        해양 퇴적물로부터 우라늄 및 토륨을 이온교환수지법으로 분리하여 전기석출을 시킨다음 알파선 분광분석법으로 스펙트라를 측정하여 본 결과 ??, ??, ??, ??의 방사능 결정이 가능하였다. 이 방법의 정확성을 검토하기 위하여 이미 개발된 우라늄 및 토륨의 정량법을 각각 사용하였으며 본 방사능의 결정법으로 해양 퇴적물의 퇴적속도 측정이 가능함을 발견하였다. The isotopes of ??, ??, ?? and ?? in marine sediment have been separated by ion exchange methods.The distintegration rates of the isotopes have been determined by alpha-ray spectrometry after electrodeposition. A comparison of the data thus obtained has been made with other methods for uranium and thorium. The results indicate that the method developed in this work can be used for determining the rate of marine sedimentation and can be used as a method to determine uranium and thorium for the comparison with other methods developed.

      • Probabilistic Reliability Evaluation of the FACTS Devices Applied Power Systems

        The requirement of the probabilistic approach on electric power systems is increasing on the electricity power market with various demanding of electricity power consumers. Moreover the necessity of the reliability evaluation at demand points get higher. To evaluate the reliabilities at demand points the effective load duration curve on the composite power system level (called CMELDC) was developed[1]. As the effective load duration curve plays an important role in probabilistic production cost simulation and reliability evaluation for power system planning, the CMELDC give us useful information to solve nodal probabilistic problems[2]. Two elements are required to construct the CMELDC. The first of it is the probabilistic load model. And the other is the probability of load curtailment model. This paper uses the probabilistic arrival power concept to evaluate reliability at load points. And effect of FACTS devices are presented on the probabilistic reliability.
