        Objectives : To establish an effective collaborate medicine treatment of acupuncture and western medicine for treating frozen shoulder patients. Methods : 59 voluntary patients were randomly assigned to Eastern treatment group(E group, n=22), Western treatment group(W group, n=17) and East-West treatment group(EW group, n=20). The E group received acupuncture treatment on LI15, TE14, GB21 and Master Dong's acupuncture points, Shin-gwan and Gyun-joong, twice a week for 4 weeks. The W group received suprascapular nerve block, subacromial injection and trigger point injection, twice a week for 4 weeks. The EW group received acupuncture and injection treatment including nerve block. All groups were instructed to practice self exercise during their daily lives. Evaluations were made before treatment and after treatment based on the change in shoulder Range of Motion(ROM) and the patient's satisfaction concerning the treatment was measured by Visual Analogue Scale(VAS). The obtained data were analyzed and compared. Results : The patient's satisfaction scores were E group 5.67, W group 7.73 and EW group 7.67. The E group and the EW group showed significant improvement in abbduction, adduction and flexion(p<0.05). The W group showed significant improvement in adduction(p<0.05). Abduction significantly improved(p<0.05) in the EW group compared to E group and W group. Flexion also showed improvement in the EW group, but the difference among the 3 groups was statistically insignificant. The three group's difference of change in extension and adduction was insignificant(p>0.05). Conclusion : Acupuncture and nerve block alone significantly improved ROM in frozen shoulder patients. Also collaborate treatment of acupuncture and nerve block significantly improved ROM in frozen shoulder patients. But the difference of the three treatments were significant only for improving abduction(p<0.05).

        The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the second year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows; - differential diagnosis according to condition of body fluid, differentiation of syndromes according to the state of qi and blood, differential diagnosis according to relative excessiveness or deficiency of yin and yang(氣血陰陽津液辨證) - differentiation of diseases according to pathological changes of the viscera and their interrelation - analyzing and differentiating of febrile diseases in accordance with the theory of the six channels(傷寒辨證) The individual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name(異名), notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs(辨證指標), the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern(證候分析), discrimination of diagnosis pattern(證候鑑別), a way of curing a diseases(治法), prescription(處方), herb in common use(常用藥物), diseases appearing the diagnosis pattern(常見疾病), documents(文獻調査). This study was carried out on the basis of the Chinese documents and references.

      • 실업고등학교와의 교육과정 연계운영이 전문대 입시경쟁력에 미칠 영향에 관한 연구

        Educational courses at a vocational high school in connection with a junior college, effective on February 9, 1996 under the second educational reform bill, has been analysed to have great influence on junior college entrance examination competition. 1. This is shown from the analysis of target school's educational progress in connection with junior college courses and investigation into its current situation. According to the results, 4 model junior colleges and 79 curriculums at 13 self-regulated junior colleges expressed to take part in it. And 77 curriculums at 52 vocational high schools also built up a closer connection with it. The number of students, whom junior college will admit through a preferential selection test, amount to 2227. 2. According to a poll investigation, only 29.6% of vocational high school students answered they went there because of academic records. Among them, no more than 46.6% talked of school satisfaction. As for the educational courses linked with a junior college, 85.6% replyed they felt it is necessary. Only 4.5% felt it unnecessary. 95.5% of school personnel, who are working with a vocational high school or a junior college put emphasis on its necessity. 80.2% of them also answered that educational courses linking a vocational high school with a junior college would exert a great influence on a vocational high school. In conclusion, the educational at a vocational high school in connection with a junior college will exercise great influence on junior college entrance examiantion competition.

      • 풍력 발전기의 모델링 및 피치제어 시뮬레이션

        Wind turbine system converts wind energy into electric energy. Since the velocity of wind is random in nature. control of the angular velocity of the blade is needed in order to generate high quality electric power. The control of a blade can be divided into a stall regulation type and a pitch control type. The stall regulation type which uses an aerodynamic stall is simple and cheap, but it suffers from fluctuation of the resulting power. On the contrary. pitch control type is based on the fact that the torque of the blade can be changed by varying the pitch angle of the blade. It is mechanically and mathematically complicated. but the control performance is better than that of the stall regulation type. This paper derives a mathematical modeling of the wind turbine system, and suggests a pitch control algorithm. The validity of the algorithm is demonstrated with the results produced through sets of simulation.

        기능성 Zeolite-KCIO₃ 복합체에 의한 Chlorothalonil의 분해

        Salt occlusion in zeolite is a unique phenomenon that takes place only when the salt size is similar to the window size of host zeolite. KClO₃-occluded zeolite, as an environment-friendly oxidant, has a high potential for effective removal of various organic pollutants. This study was carried to investigate the characteristics and the removal kinetics of fungicide chlorothalonil by zeolite-KClO₃ complex. About 10% of KClO₃ was occluded in zeolite pores synthesized by salt-thermal method from fly ash, although the occlusion amount was relatively less compared to that of nitrate salts. By occlusion with KClO₃, no remarkable changes were found in X-ray diffraction patterns of cancrinite, whereas some decrease of overall peak intensities was found with those of sodalite. Different releasing kinetics of ClO^(-)₃ ion were observed in distilled water and soil solution from zeolite-KClO₃ complex. Two reactions, hydration and diffusion, seem to be related with the release of KClO₃. Therefore, the release isotherm of ClO^(-)₃ ion well fitted to the power function model which indicate the release was made by hydration and diffusion. The removal of chlorothalonil by zeolite and KClO₃ reached at reaction equilibrium within 6 hours by 18% and 47%, respectively. However, the chlorothalonil removal by the zeolite-KClO₃ complex increased slowly and steadily up to 92% in 96 hours. These findings suggested that zeolite-KClO₃ complex could be applied for effective removal of organic contaminants in the soil and aqueous environment.

        After IMF our country's stock market showed stiffness of stock price index at 200 as result of instability of economy. But economy becoming stable, stock market started to find its figure like old days. At the end of 1999 stock price index ran over 1000. Because of this reason, people who lost their job at the time of IMF started to invest in stock with their retirement grants and other money. Less of information, individual investors bought itmes that are already at the peak of it's price and invest in items without scientific analysis. They were no game to the organization and foreign country's large fund. Therefore they lost all of their valuable fortune. Today, stock is analysed in many ways. However it's difficult for the individual investors to know when to use and what to use. In this study, we will find the same pattern of today's stock from the past, integrate analysed information into one index and forecast the tendency of the future stock. Hope to give individual investors some help for investment strategy.

        생활하수슬러지가 토양 화학성 및 장미의 생육에 미치는 영향

        생활하수슬러지를 장미 재배지에 토양 개량제로서 시용량을 달리하여 첨가하고 장미의 생육상, 토양 및 식물체중 중금속의 함량에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 장미 재배지에 하수슬러지를 사용하면 시용량이 증가함에 따라 신장과 비대생장이 증가했으며 주당 꽃송이도 많아 생육이 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 토양 중 중금속 함량은 시용량의 증가에 따라 일정한 경향은 없었으며 식물체에 의한 대부분의 무기성부 흡수량은 하수 슬러지의 시용량에 따라 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 생활 하수 슬러지는 유해물질의 농도가 낮으면 경작지에 처리하여도 무관할 것으로 판단된다. This study was conducted to find out the effect of municipal sewage sludge on the growth and heavy metal content of rose and soil chemical properties. Municipal sewage sludge was applied to soil at rate of 0, 3, 5, 10 and 15 ton/10a, the plant height, flower number and stem size of rose were found to be increase in the treatments of sewage sludge. Contents of mineral nutrients in rose stem were determined to be higher at municipal sewage sludge application plots than those of no application. But, there were not any significant increases of heavy metal contents in soil and rose stem with the sludge applications. From the results of this study, it is apparent that the application of municipal sewage sludge would not increase available heavy metals in soil.

      • 충진탑에서 가스흡수에 의한 물질전달과 수력학적 거동에 관한 연구

        The use of packed column which apply efficient thermal material separation method has been required for absorption process. Absorption is applicable to waste gas from industrial process and incineration and odor control. Since we have used the lattice packing which was recently discovered in Germany, We can prevent drop of efficiency from maldistribution and channeling which were occurred when we use conventional packing. The lattice packing is efficient within the range of thermal, easy to manufacture, low production cost and make a variety of materials. This study aims to control the waste gas and odor with absorption. The dimension of packed column in which used in experiment is 0.45(d) × 2.0 m(H), and the result of and mass transfer apply to practical industry and environmental protection. The systems adopted for the absorption are Air/Water and NH3-Air/Water. We still cannot apply packed column to the domestic industry and environmental protection and depend on foreign technology, but this study will contribute to the industry and environment.

        The purpose of this study is develop manufacture technology of activated carbon for purification of water, it is investigated suitable manufactures for manufacture of activated carbon for purification of water by use anthracite coal and bituminous coal produced in internal and external through this fact, economic valuation and made method established. it is valuated wether or not suitable high degree purification by know removal characteristic organic matter such as KMnO₄Consumption, DOC, UV-254, and THMFP make use of Pilot-plant (purification of water treatment) for made activated carbon. For mixed anthracite coal and bituminous coal by means of coal tar pitch, completely melt to fixed coal tar pitch apply l50℃ heat at stainless steel box, since then compounding weight rate 1:l of anthracite coal and bituminous coal sieved material, then add coal tar pitch and caking water, mixed suitable compounding rate since then extrude and mix by diameter 5.5m extruder, extruded mold cute and dry length l0mm pellet shape by cutter and then made activated carbon.
