        Conceptual Study for Tissue-Regenerative Biodegradable Magnesium Implant Integrated with Nitric Oxide-Releasing Nanofi bers

        The excessive initial corrosion rate of Mg is a critical limitation in the clinical application of biodegradable Mg implantsbecause the device loses its fi xation strength before the fractured bone heals. This study suggests a new approach to overcomethis hurdle by accelerating tissue regeneration instead of delaying the implant biodegradation. As angiogenesis is anessential process in early bone regeneration, a Mg implant coated with electrospun nanofi bers containing nitric oxide (NO),which physiologically promotes angiogenesis, is designed. The integrated device enables adjustable amounts of NO to bestored on the NO donor-conjugated nanofi ber coating, stably delivered, and released to the fractured bone tissue near theimplanted sites. An in vitro corrosion test reveals no adverse eff ect of the released NO on the corrosion behavior of the Mgimplant. Simultaneously, the optimal concentration level of NO released from the implant signifi cantly enhances tube networkformation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells without any cytotoxicity problem. This indicates that angiogenesis canbe accelerated by combining NO-releasing nanofi bers with a Mg implant. With its proven feasibility, the proposed approachcould be a novel solution for the initial stability problem of biodegradable Mg implants, leading to successful bone fi xation.

      • 부착규조류를 이용한 천안천의 생물학적 수질평가

        충청남도 천안시에 위치한 천안천을 대상으로 상류에서 하류까지 3개 정점에 대하여 2009년 4월에 부착규조류 군집과 생물학적 수질평가(Biological water quality)를 실시하였다. 천안천의 부착규조류는 총 30분류군이 출현하였으며, 대부분 Navicula와 Nitzschia 속에 속하는 분류군으로서 유기오염 선호종(Saprophilous species)들이 출현하였다. 우점좀과 아우점종으로는 Nitzschia palea와 Navicula pupula가 모든 정점에서 출현하였으며, 약 50%의 높은 우점율을 나타냈다. 생물학적 수질평가는 상류에서 하류까지 α중부수성(α-mesosaprobic) 에서 β중부수성(β-mesosaprobic)으로 천안천은 유입 유역으로부터 심한 오염부하를 받는것으로 판단된다. This research was to assess the biological water quality and epilithic diatoms community from 3 sites in Cheonan-stream located at Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do on April 2009. As a result, total of 30 taxa of diatoms appeared. Most taxa found were Saporophilous species such as Navicula and Nitzschia. Dominant species and subdominant species, Nitzschia palea and Navicula pupula appeared in all sites showing high relative frequency of about 50%. As a result of the biological water quality assessment, Cheonan-stream was found to be alpha mesosaprobic to beta mesosaprobic from upstream to downstream, receiving pollutant load from the basin.

        This study investigates the influence of cane length on the weight distribution of the elderly in a standing position. Thirsty participants were evaluated using two different cane lengths based on measurements of distal wrist crease to ground (WC cane), and distance of greater trochanter to ground (GT cane). A limloader was used to determine the weight distribution on the subject. It was found that 6.5% of body weight was supported on a GT cane and 7.7% of body weight supported on a WC cane in a standing position. Results suggests that more weight is distributed on a WC cane than a GT cane in the elderly.

      • 超多收性 대립벼의 窒素施肥量이 生育特性과 收量에 미치는 影響

        本 硏究는 晋州産業大學校 學生實習圃場에서 1996年 4月부터 同年 10月까지 다산벼(da san)벼를 公試 品種으로 하여 施肥水準을 窒素 0, 10, 15, 20, 25kg으로 달리 栽培하여 各 施肥水準에 따라 生育 및 收量, 米質을 調査한바 그 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 分蘗數는 施肥水準이 높을수록 많았으며, 有效莖比率은 낮은 경향이었다 2. 稈長 및 穗長은 施肥水準이 높을수록 길었으며,穗數는 큰 차이가 없었다. 3. 千粒重은 施肥水準이 높을수록 무거웠으며, 登熟 및 精玄比率은 낮은 경향이었다. 4. 粒數는 施肥水準 無肥區보다 25kg區에서 30個 程度 많았다. 5. 比重 및 層米重은 施肥水準이 높을수록 많은 경향이었다. 6. 正組重은 無肥歐에 비하여 25kg歐에서 278kg, 玄米重은 190kg程度 많았다. 7. 各 形質의 有意性 檢定 結果는 反復間에는 差異가 없었으며 處理間에는 全 形質에서 認定되었다. 8. T-N含量은 施肥量이 增加함에 따라 增加하였다. 9. P_2O_5, CaO, MgO는 處理間에 差異가 없었다. 10. K_2O는 10kg區, SiO_2는 25kg區에서 가장 높았다. This Paper aims to examine the effects of different level nitrogen fertilization on the growth, yield and quality of the dasam rice. The nitrogen levels were 0, 10, 15, 20 and 25kg per plot. The experiment were carried out in Chinju National University Experimental Farm from April till October, 1996. The results are as follows : 1. The tiller numbers became larger in the higher notrogen level plots. But as the nitrogen level got higher, the percentage of effective tillers decreased. 2. The culm and panicle legth became longer in the higher level ; the number of panicles per plant showed little difference. 3. The 1,000 grain weight became heavier in the higher level ; but the ripeness percentage and the hulled and unhulled rice percentage became lower. 4. The grain number of the 25kg plot was larger by 30 than that of the 0kg plot. 5. The empty grains and rice screenings increased in the higher levels. 6. The winnowed rice in the 25kg plot was heavier by 278kg than in the 0kg plot ; the brown rice was heavier by 190kg. 7. The significance test revealed the each replication showed no difference in each character, but that each treatment showed significant difference in all the characters. 8. The T-N content increased in the higher levels. 9. P_2O_5, CaO and MgO showed no difference in each treatment. 10. K_2O content was highest in the 10kg level ; SiO_2 in the 25kg level.

      • 확산-통계 혼합모델을 이용한 대구지역 SO₂농도 예측

        An urban air quality model, the statistical-deterministic hybrid model, has been successfully applied to sulfur dioxide(SO₂) data measured in the city of Taegu. The assumptions based on the steps in developing the hybrid model are that the frequency of SO₂ data can be reliably represented by two-parameter lognormal distribution and a simple deterministic relationship between percentiles of pollutant concentration and the inverse of wind speed exist for this urban area. Using the parameters estimated from the statistical model and long-term average concentration of SO₂ from the deterministic model(TCM2), geometric mean and maximum concentration of SO₂ were estimated for the two seasons in Taegu area during 1990, 1996 and 2001 respectively. Number of days exceeding the short-term(daily) ambient air standard for SO₂, corresponding to the 98~99 percentile positions on the expecting lognormal frequency density distribution curve, were estimated to be 1~5 days for the heating season in Taegu city.

        학점은행제 평가인정의 메타평가 준거 개발

        본 연구는 학점은행제 평가인정을 평가하기 위한 준거인 메타평가 준거를 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 문헌연구를 통해 메타평가 영역을 평가투입, 평가과정, 평가결과 및 활용의 세 영역으로 설정하여 총 30개의 준거를 설정하였다. 이에 근거하여 준거의 적합성 검토, 타당성 검증의 과정을 거쳐 29개의 준거를 개발하였다. 준거의 적합성 검토는 전문가 13명에게 실시하였고, 타당성 검증은 학점은행제 평가인정 평가위원(제15차)과 전국의 463개 교육훈련기관 학점은행제 실무자를 통하여 이루어졌다. 평가투입 영역의 준거는 평가목적의 타당성, 평가조직·기구의 적절성, 평가위원의 양적 적절성, 평가위원의 전문성, 평가위원의 선정 및 구성의 적절성, 평가예산의 적정성, 평가자료의 적절성, 평가영역 및 항목의 타당성, 평가지표 및 기준의 타당성, 평가점수 배분의 적절성 등 10개가 개발되었다. 평가과정 영역의 준거는 12개로서 평가주기의 적절성, 평가시기의 적절성, 평가방법의 적절성, 자체보고의 정확성, 서면평가의 충실성, 현장방문평가의 충실성, 평가절차의 합리성, 평가대상기관 오리엔테이션의 적절성, 평가편람 배포의 적절성, 평가위원 사전평가교육의 적절성, 평가의 객관성, 평가의 공정성 등이다. 평가결과 및 활용 영역의 준거는 평가결과의 신뢰성, 평가결과보고서의 충실성, 이의제기 기회의 적절성, 평가결과의 공개성, 평가결과의 활용성, 평가결과의 영향성, 메타평가의 적절성 등 7개이다. The purpose of this study is, as a standard to evaluate the academic credit bank system, to develop the meta-evaluation criteria. For that, the researcher established meta-evaluation criteria through a literature survey, and on the basis of that, conducted an investigation-study in the order of investing the appropriateness of the criteria, its validity research. Meta-evaluation area has been composed of the three items including evaluation input, evaluation process, evaluation results & application, and total 30 criteria were established, After revising & supplementing under the examination of the appropriateness of the criteria by 13 experts, 29 criteria were selected through the process of verifying their appropriateness. A questionnaire survey for the appropriateness verification was conducted on the evaluation committees(the 15th) of academic credit bank system, for its accreditation, and on the working-level persons for academic credit system in 463 educational training institutes throughout the country. First, ten criteria for evaluation input area were developed: 1) the validity of evaluation purposes; 2) the appropriateness of evaluation organization·system; 3) quantitative appropriateness of evaluation committees; 4) the speciality of evaluation committees; 5) the appropriateness in the selection & composition of evaluation committees; 6) the adequacy of evaluation budget; 7) the appropriateness of evaluation data; 8) the validity of evaluation area & items; 9) the validity of evaluation index; 10) the validity of the allocation of evaluation score. Second, twelve criteria for evaluation process area were developed: 1) the appropriateness of evaluation time; 2) the appropriateness of evaluation cycle; 3) the appropriateness of evaluating method; 4) the accuracy of in-house reporting; 5) the faithfulness of written evaluation; 6) the faithfulness of on-the-spot evaluation; 7) the rationality of evaluating procedures; 8) the appropriateness of orientation by an outside evaluating organization; 9) the appropriateness of evaluation handbook distribution; 10) the appropriateness of pre-evaluation education for evaluation committees; 11) the objectivity of evaluation; 12) the fairness of evaluation. Finally, seven criteria for evaluation results & their practical use area were developed: 1) the reliance of evaluation results; 2) the faithfulness of evaluation result report; 3) the appropriateness of objection chance; 4) the openness of evaluation results; 5) the practical use of evaluation results; 6) the influence of evaluation results; 7) the performance of meta-evaluation.
