        2014년 8월 5일부터 7일까지 경상남도 창녕군 일대에 위치한 대한민국 최대의 내륙 습지인 우포늪 일대를 한국거미연구회 회원(김주필, 예용택, 장지현, 오종화, 예성훈, 유혜성, 채준호, 김태우, 김민섭, 변진관, 성민규, 김지후, 김대희, 김녕, 이정준, 이형민 등 16명)들이 채집 조사한 결과 16과 48속 69종의 거미가 조사 연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. The authors investigated the spiders of the Upo wetland from 5th August to 7th August, 2014. In the present paper 69 species of 48 genera belong to 16 families were identified. These specimens are deposited at the Joo-Pil Spider Museum, Namyangju-Si, Kyunggi-Do.

      • 2-Acetylaminofluorene으로 유발된 실험적 간암의 세포 동태학적 연구

        Kinetics of hepatocytes in various precancerous and cancer iesions during hepatocarcinorenesis was evaluated in 38 Sprague-Dawley rats fed with 0.075% 2-acetylaminofluorene diet. The rats were sacrificed after 4, 7, 10 days. 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 weeks, and 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 months of the experiment. The lesions were divided as altered cell lesions (clear cell focus, acidophilic cell focus, and basophilic cell focus). regenerating nodules. neoplastic nodules, and hepatocellular carcinomas. Cell kinetics was studied by intraperitoneal bromodexyuridine(BrdU) injection 2 hours before sacrifice. After detection of the BrdU-incorporated nuclei with monoclonal antibody kit, the BrdU labelling index(BLI) was measured as percentage of BrdU labelled cells among about 1000 cells. The liver cells in the altered cell lesions showed significantly increased BLI(clear cell 1.66: acidophilic 2.39: basophilic 2.41) in comparion with normal control(0. 18) or non-lesional hepatocytic lobules (0. 47), and lower BLI than hepatocellular carcinoma(8.61∼27.07) (P<0.05). Regenerating and neoplastic nodules did not differ in their BLI (1.54 and 1.70), and were significantly lower in their proliferating kinetics than acidophilic or basophilic cell foci (P<0.05). It was suggested from this study that the altered cell lesion should be true premalignant lesion, which was composed of at least initiated cells by the chemical carcinogen. The basophilic and acidophilic foci in altered cell lesions were suggestive of close correlation with the hepatocellular carcinoma in that they had greatest proliferative cell kinetics of all the lesions occurred before cancer developed.

        부신절제가 전기경련 충격에 의한 흰쥐 뇌의 조기유전자 발현에 미치는 영향

        부신피질 호르몬이 뇌에서 전기경련 충격(ECS)에 의한 조기유전자(IEG)의 발현에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 본 연구를 수행하였다. 양측 부신을 절제한 수컷 Sprague-Dawley 흰쥐에서 부신을절제한 지 3일 후에 ECS로 경련을 유발시켜 대뇌 피질, 해마 및 소뇌에서 c-fos, jun B, TIS 1의 발현 양상을 관찰하고 이를 대조군과 비교하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1) 부신절제 후 대뇌 피질에서 ECS에 의한 c-fos와 jun B 및 TIS 1 mRNA 발현은 대조군에 비하여 억제되었다. 2) 해마와 소뇌에서는 IEG의 종류에 상관없이 부신절제가 ECS에 의한 IEG의 발현에 별 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이상의 결과로부터 부신절제는 ECS에 의한 IEG의 발현에 영향을 미치며, 그 영향은 뇌의 부위에 따라 다름을 확인할 수 있었다. 부신피질 호르몬이 IEG 발현에 영향을 미치는 기전에 대하여 고찰하였다. The adrenocortical hormones have been known to be related with the pathogenesis of mental disorders and individual vulnerability to stress. To evaluate the influences of adrenocortical hormone on the signal transduction system in rat brain, the authors observed the effects of bilateral adrenalectomy on the induction of immediate early genes(IEGs) after electroconvulsive shock(ECS). Male Sprague-Dawley rats(200 - 250g) were treated with ECS(130V, 0.5sec) at day 3 after bilateral adrenalectomy. Rats were sacrificed at 0, 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes after ECS, and cerebral cortex, hippocampus, and cerebellum were dissected from the brain. The induction of IEGs was assessed with northern hybridization. The band intensities of the autoradiographs measured with densitometer were compared between adrenalectomized group and sham-operated control group. After adrenalectomy, the c-fos, jun B, and TIS 1 induction by ECS was generally attenuated in the cerebral cortex. The induction of IEGs in the hippocampus and in the cerebellum was not influenced by adrenalectomy. These results suggest that adrenalectomy has differential influences on the induction of IEGs by ECS in the rat brain depending on the region of brain.

        어떤 흰쥐 뇌에서 부신절제가 전기경련 충격에 의한 조기유전자 발현에 미치는 영향

        부신피질 호르몬이 70g 이내의 어린 흰쥐의 뇌에서 전기경련 충격에 의한 조기유전자(IEG)의 발현에 미치는 급성 효과 및 만성 효과를 살펴보기 위하여 본 연구를 수행하였다. 70g 이내의 생식선이 발달하지 않은 수컷 Sprague-Dawley 흰쥐에서 양측 부신을 절제한지 3일과 14일 후에 전기경련 충격으로 경련을 유발시켜 대뇌 피질과 해마에서 c-fos, jun B, TIS 1 의 발현 양상을 관찰하고 이를 대조군과 비교하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 부신절제 후 대뇌 피질에서 전기경련 충격에 의한 c-fos와 jun B mRNA 발현은 일찍 최대치에 도달하고 일찍 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, 초기의 발현이 강화되는 경향을 보였다. 이러한 경향은 jun B가 c-fos 보다 뚜렷하였으며, 부신절제 후 3일이 경과된 경우보다 14일이 경과된 경우가 뚜렷하였다. 2) TIS 1의 경우에는 대뇌 피질에서 이러한 초기 발현의 강화가 관찰되지 않았으며, 부신절제 14일된 어린 흰쥐에서만 발현이 억제되는 경향을 보였다. 3) 부신절제는 해마에서는 전기경련 충격에 의한 c-fos와 jun B의 발현에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 부신절제 3일 후 전기경련 충격에 의한 TIS 1의 발현은 억제되는 경향이 관찰되었으나, 부신절제 14일 후에는 이러한 경향이 관찰되지 않았다. 이상의 결과로부터 부신절제는 전기경련 충격에 의한 IEG의 발현에 영향을 미치며, 그 영향은 흰쥐의 뇌의 부위, IEG의 종류에 따라 차이가 있음을 알수 있었고, 흰쥐의 연령 및 부신피질 호르몬을 제거한 기간 등의 영향도 있음을 확인할수 있었다. To evaluate the influences of adrenocortical hormone on the signal transduction system in young brain, the authors observed the effects of bilateral adrenalectomy on the induction of immediate early genes(IEGs) such as c-fos, jun B, and TIS 1 by electroconvulsive shock(ECS) in the young rats. The young(70g) male Sprague-Dawley rats were treated with ECS(130V, 0.5sec) at day 3 or 14 after bilateral adrenalectomy. They were sacrificed at 0, 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes after ECS and cerebral cortex and hippocampus were dissected from their brans . The induction of IEGs were assessed with northern by hybridization. The band intensities of the autoradiographs measured by densitometer were compared between adrenalectomized group and sham-operated control group. In the cerebral cortex, c-fos and jun B appeared and disappeared earlier, and enhanced in the earlier phase of the induction in the adrenalectomized group. These trends were more prominent for jun B than for c-fos, and were more prominent at day 14 than at day 3 after adrenalectomy. The induction of TIS 1 was attenuated at day 14 after adrenalectomy. In the hippocampus, the induction of c-fos and jun B by ECS was not influenced by adrenalectomy. The induction of TIS 1 was attenuated at day 3 after adrenalectomy. These results suggest that adrenalectomy has influences on the induction of IEGs by ECS in rat brain differently, depending on the brain region, the kind of IEGs, the age of the rats, and the time passed after adrenalectomy.

      • Plane Stress 상태와 Plane Strain 상태에서의 피로균열 성장 거동에 관한 연구

        This paper is concerned with the fatigue crack growth rates for both the plane stress and the plane strain conditions. In general, the specimen surface may be assumed to satisfy the plane stress condition and inner part of specimen the plane strain condition. As the specimen material, PMMA was selected. Crack length was measured both at the inner part of specimen and on the specimen surface. Since PMMA is transparent, the inner part crack length could be measured exactly. Center cracked tension (CCT) specimens which were recommened by ASTM Standard E647-85 were used in the testing proceses. In order to analyze da/dN-ΔG relation, G-K relation was applied to both test conditions, the plane stress and the plane strain. From the experimental studies, following conclusions were obtained. 1) Concerning with the relation of da/dN-ΔK the value of m for plane strain condition is appeared greater than that of plane stress condition. 2) As the thickness increases, the difference between the value of m in the plane strain condition and in the plane stress condition becomes rather greater. 3) The power of the exponential relation between da/dN and ΔG; da/dN=C(ΔG)^m appears similar to that of the relation; da/dN=C'(ΔK)^m' ; m??m'. 4) The value of m is constant for plane stress condition. The value of m for PMMA is approximately 3.5.

        부산지역 시정악화의 원인 분석

        After analyzing the correlation between air pollution and visibility, TSP and NO_2 is responsible for poor visibility in Pusan. After analyzing the correlation between meteorological factors and visibility, general pattern of humidity has clear negative correlation. The variation of wind speed has a positive correlation. In order to investigate the cause of poor visibility in Pusan area, the Andersen sampler and PM-2.5 are used to collect and analyze aerosol. This study was carried out to monitor the visibility using Forward scattering meter and to find out the characteristics and the cause of good visibility case and poor visibility case by measuring and analyzing a variety of parameters, such as particle size distributions, chemical compositions, and meteorological conditions in Pusan. According to the analysis of intensive sampling, NO_3^-, NH_4^+ ion concentration increased together with the mass concentration around 0.5∼2.5㎛ approximately during the case of poor visibility. NH_4NO_3, NH_4Cl, and NaCl were thought to be the major components of fine particles.

        역도 인상동작의 운동학적 분석

This study analyzed snatch technique in weight-lifting performed by female gold, silver, and copper medalists at the 75kg level in the 2002 Pusan Asian Games and obtained the following conclusions. 1. KSH used more extensor in the waist than those in ankles, knees, or hip joints during the second pull, So further training is required to manifest both each of joints and waist extensor effectively and thus for the line from shoulders through barbell to hip joints to form a smooth vertical pattern. 2. Contrary to those in other countries, Korean athlete KSH tended to be swift in starting but slow in the second pull section, showing less effectiveness in movement during the second pull; therefore, they must try to exert a swift movement in lockout. 3. KSH showed slowdown in the speed, which was a factor interfering with performance during second pull, despite the great maximum speed of moving barbell. It is important to use barbell sufficiently not to reduce the speed of vertical movement but rather to keep the speed increasing. 4. KSH, who kept doing inefficient movements such as failure to perform swift lockout after lifting the heel at the maximum angle of lower limbs, needs to reduce this meaningless extension of ankles, knees, or hip joints to exert energy effectively.

      • 반복작업으로 유발된 수근관내의 굴곡근 건초염과 수근관 증후군 : 증례 보고 Case Report

        A 46 year-old woman who had worked repetitive manual job for 3 years visited our hospital because of aggravated right hand sensory symptom and newly developed limitation of 3, 4, 5th finger extension. In physical examination, moderate swelling of volar aspect of wrist and limitation of finger extension was noticed as well as positive tinnel sign. We confirmed carpal tunnel syndrome after electrodiagnostic studies and associated flexor tenosynovitis of 4th flexor tendon in the carpal tunnel through MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) study. She was successfully treated with conservative program including wrist splint and steroid injection. We also tracked the result of treatment using MRI and electrodiagnositic studies. Analyzing her work procedure, we concluded that repetitive and forceful exertional nature of job impose a high burden on hand and wrist region and it caused her carpal tunnel syndrome.

        방선균 WCM-9가 생산하는 Polyene 항진균성 항생물질(AF1)의 생물학적 성상

        Background: Pathogenic fungi infect humans, especially immunocompromised patients, with superficial or deeply invasive pattern. In the past 20 years, fungal infections have been increased dramatically resulted by increment of organ transplantation, cancer, AIDS patients, or use of broad-spectrum antibacterial agents. Fungal infections are now important causes of morbidity and mortality of hospitalized patients. but there is no effective antifungal antibiotics as well as antibacterial antibiotics Objective: Effective new antifungal antibiotics are needed for the treatment of mycosis. So in an effort to develop effective antifungal antibiotics, we screened over 600 isolates of Streptomyces spp. from soil. Methods: Antifungal producing strain was selected using disk diffusion method, An antifungal substance (AF1) was purified with ethyl acetate extraction, silica gel column chromatography and reverse phase HPLC. MICs of AF1 were detected by agar dilition method. Results: The compound showed UV maxima of 307, 321, 340, 359 nm indicating methylpentaene. Minimum inhibitory concentrations of the AF1 were 3.7 ㎍/ml against mold, and 3.7 - 7.4 ㎍/ml against Candida species. AF1 was also active against Cryptococcus neoformans, with MIC of 0.9 ㎍/ml. The concentration of AF1 for K^+ ion release from human red blood cell and hemolysis were 5 ㎍/ml. Conclusion: The antibiotic purified from culture broth of Streptomyces sp. WCM-9 was a polyene antifungal antibiotic which have broad spectrum antifungal activity.
