        FGF signaling이 연골 형성에 미치는 영향

        막내골화와 연골내골화 등의 정상적인 골격 성장은 섬유아세포 성장인자 (FGF) 와 이들 수용체들 (FGFR) 에 의한 신호전달체계에 의해 조절된다. 또한 전사조절인자인 Runx2 (Cbfa1/Pebp2αA/AML3) 는 골아세포분화 뿐만 아니라 골형성에도 필수적인 유전자로 알려져 있다. FGF signaling이 mouse의 두 개관과 하악에서의 연골 형성에 어떤 영향을 미치고 있으며, 이 과정에서 Runx2의 연관성을 알아보고자 in vivo 및 in vitro 실험을 시행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 두 개관의 하악을 Alcian blue 염색한 결과 시상두개봉합부 연골은 태생16일부터, Meckel's 연골은 태생11일부터 형성되기 시작하였다. 이들 연골세포들의 성사을 알아보기위한 in situ hybridization 결과 시상두개봉합부 연골 및 Meckel's 연골 모두에서 type Ⅱ collagen은 발현되었으나, Type X collagen은 발현되지 않았다. Runx2 mRNA는 시상두개봉합부 연골과 Meckel's 연골 모두에서 발현되지 않았지만, 이들 연골들의 가장자리를 둘러싸고 있는 독특한 발현양상을 나타내었다. 두개 봉합부에서의 FGF2 protein의 국소적 적용은 두개봉합부 하방의 연골형성을 억제하였다. 또한 하악의 Meckel's 연골 발생부위에 FGF2 protein의 국소적 적용 역시 Meckel's 연골의 형성을 억제하였다. FGF2 protein은 시상두개봉합부상의 bead 주위로 Runx2의 발현을 유도하였다. 이 결과들을 종합해볼 때, FGF signaling은 골아세포와 연골아세포가 공존하고 있는 조직에서의 연골 형성을 억제하고 있음을 시사해 주고 있으며, 이 과정에서 FGF signaling은 부분적으로 Runx2 유전자의 발현을 조절하므로써 연골세포의 증식과 분화에 관여할 것으로 사료된다. Figroblast growth factor (FGF) / FGF receptor (FGFR) mediated signaling is required for skeletogenesis including intramembranous and endochondral ossifications. Runx2 (Cbfa1/Pebp2αA/AML3) is an essential transcription factor for osteoblast differentiation and bone formation. Murine calvaria and mandible are concurrently undergoing both intramembranous bone and cartilage formations in the early development stage. However the mechanism by which these cartilage formations are regulated remains unclear. To elucidate the effect of FGF signaling on development of cranial sutural catilage and Meckel's cartilage and to understand the role of Runx2 in these processs, we have done both in vivo and in vitro experiments. Alcian blue staining showed that cartilage formation in sagittal suture beings from embryonic state 16 (E16), Meckel's cartilage formation in mandible from E12. We analyzed by in situ hybridization the characteristics of cartilage cells that type Ⅱ collagen, not type X collagen, was expressed in sagittal sutural cartilage and Meckel's cartilage. In addition, Runx2 was not expressed in Meckel's cartialge as well as sagittal sutural cartilage, except specific expression pattern only surrounding both cartilages. FGF signaling pathway was further examined in vitro. Beads soaked in FGF2 placed on the sagittal suture and mandible inhibited both sutural and Meckel's cartilage formations. We next examined whether Runx2 gene lies in FGF siganling pathway during regulation of catilage formation. These results suggest that FGF signaling inhibits formations of sagittal sutural and Meckel's cartilages, also propose that FGF siganling is involved in the proliferation and differentiation of chondroblasts through regulating the transcription factor Runx2.

      • 후복막섬유증 5례의 임상적 고찰

        Retroperitoneal fibrosis is a fibrotic process of the retroperitoneum that frequently produces ureteral obstruction. It can occur as an idiopathic disease or in association with various non-malignant and malignant condition. In the early phase of the retroperitoneal fibrosis ; symptoms originate from the disease process itself, while in the late state the clinical features represent the effect of obstructive uropathy and renal failure. Treatment consist of steroid therapy, urinary diversion and ureterolysis with jntraperitonealization or lateralization or wrapping with omentum. Herein we present 5 cases of retroperitoneal fibrosis.

        In the world of high speed computers, there are two main design philosophies-parallelism and pipelining. Pipelining is an effective method for reducing interchip communication while increasing performance. In this paper, we examine the pipeline handling strategy of RISC processors such as RISC Ⅱ, R2000, SPARC RISC CY7C600, and MC88100 in order to design MJU-DLX RISC in the future. Throughout the investigation, we determine the number of stage, number of register, and. control mechanism. Then, specification of MJU-DLX RISC has been presented for the future development.

        The purpose of this paper is to implement of PGIS(Public Geographic Information System) for providing high quality spatial and attribute data through the generalizing process of spatial data. For the operating map data, we improve speed and variable function through the optimization process and we provide easy to use system in searching and analyzing shortest path for the users. Specially, we provide improved searching method and improve speed of analyzing shortest path. Also we enabled the users to analyze data spatially through searching method of spatial area. As a result of the above processing, we provide stable, quick processing speed and variable function.

        감압 효소 침투에 의한 표피의 광범위 분리

        Previously, a new method of negative-pressure-assisted DISPASE splitting into various thicknesses and sizes of surgically obtained human or animal skins into the epidermal and dermal layers was invented. Good penetration of the enzyme into the skin tissue was obtained by applying negative pressure in a liposuction apparatus and then rapidly aerating the skin tissue to the room air pressure when the pressure pushed the enzyme solution deep into dermal tissue. The procedure was repeated every 3 minutes under 750mmHg negative pressure assisted dispase(100IU/ml). The earist time for separation of the viable epidermal sheet was measured. Negative pressure(-750mmHg), numbers of repeat(7times), incubation time(37℃,25mins)were the factors for the earlist separation of the epidermal sheet. We suggested that this was a good method for the treatment of tattoos and nevus. Advantages were that the donor site morbidity was less and the time required for healing of the wound was markedly shortened.

        The purpose of this study is to investigate ⑴ the role of the Christianity in Korean women's education, ⑵ the evaluation of Korea women's education based on Christianity, ⑶ the tasks that Christianity must perform for the future Korean women's education. The result of this study as follows: First, the role of Christianity is developmental process of Korea women's education has been differently performed in times. Specifically, the role of Christianity in enlightenment period was release from traditional customs, the role of Christianity in Japanese Imperialism period was enlargemant of patriotism and independent consciousness, the role of Christianity in after 8·15 liberation was establishment of democratic consciousness. Second, the evaluation of Christianity for Korean women's education suggested to positive and negative role. Finally, the most important tasks for future women's education would have new understanidng on the mission of Christianity and recognition of the historical and social need.

      • 1-MCP처리가 '신고'배의 저장에 미치는 영향

        1-MCP 처리가 '신고' 배품종의 상온저장시의 품질에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 실험을 실시하였다. 수확된 '신고' 배를 1-MCP 1 ppm의 농도로 수확당일, 수확후 1일, 수확후 2일에 각각 처리하고 이후에는 20±2℃의 실온에서 포장 저장하면서 품질관현 요인을 검정하였다. 초기 조사일의 과중에 대한 중간 조사일의 과중감소율에서는 5주차에 수확 1일후 1-MCP 처리구가 가장 감소율이 적었다. 당도에서는 처리간에 차이가 없었다. 경도와 부패과에서는 처리 5주차에서 1-MCP 처리구들이 무처리에 비해 뚜렷하게 경도와 부패과가 적게 발생하였다. 산도에서는 실험 5주차에 무처리가 다른 1-MCP 처리구보다 높았다. 결론적으로 수확직후의 1-MCP처리는 '신고' 배의 저장기간 연장에 효과적이었다. This study was carried out to find out the effects of 1-MCP treatment on the fruit quality of 'Niitaka' pear under room temperature storage conditions. With 1-MCP treatment one day after harvest, the lowest percentage of decrease in the fruit fresh weight was obtained at 5 weeks after the treatment. Soluble solids contents of MCP-treated fruit did not show significant differences among treatments. In comparison with the control, all of 1-MCP treatments showed a slow decrease in fruit firmness and low percentages in rotten fruit rate at 5 weeks after the treatment. At 5 weeks after the treatment, the fruit juice acidity of the control was higher than those from other 1-MCP treatments.
