<P>To determine the occurrence and genetic diversity of <I>Sapelovirus A</I> (SV-A) in diarrhea and non-diarrhea feces of Korean pigs, 110 specimens from different age groups of pigs in the same farm were analyzed by RT-nested PCR. SV-As were detected in 60% of both diarrhea and non-diarrhea specimens regardless of age groups with primer pairs for 2C region, in which all diarrhea samples were co-infected by other enteric pathogens. Phylogenetical analysis of partial VP1 region showed that our strains and several other Korean strains belonged to cluster I, distinct from some strains reported in Korea and other countries. These data indicate that genetically distinct SV-As are frequently detected in Korean pigs irrespective of diarrhea and age.</P>

최근에 발굴된 『古今名作歌』는 황색 고정지에 기록된 필사본 고시조집이다. 『고금명작가』는 조선 영조 17년인 1740년을 기점으로 그 이전에 필사되었을 것으로 추정되는 바, 시조사적으로도 초기시조집에 해당된다. 필자의 조사에 의하면 이 시조집에는 78수의 시조가 실려 있는데 그 중에서 9수는 아직 학계에 보고 되지 않았던 새로운 작품들이다. 『고금명작가』에 실려 있는 시조 작품을 분석해보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이 시조집에서는 다른 시조집에 비하여 한자를 피하고 국문위주의 표기법을 고수하고 있는데 17세기 후반부터 18세기 전기의 국어학적 특징을 보인다. 둘째, 이들 시조 작품들은 다른 시조집의 작품과 비교하여 이본적 가치가 많은 것으로 보인다. 그것은 어휘와 어구가 바뀌거나 초장이나 종장 자체가 달라지는 경우도 많았기 때문이다. 셋째, 새로 발굴한 시조 9수 중에서 2수는 중국 악부의 일종인 〈大風歌〉와 〈垓下歌〉를 시조로 바꾼 것이다. 그런데 한시가 아닌 樂府를 시조로 개작한 작품이 선정된 것은 시조집 편찬자가 시조와 악부가 지닌 노래와의 상관성을 놓치지 않고 헤아렸던 것으로 보인다. 그리고 이들 9首 중에서〈9〉와 〈10〉은 지금까지 알려지지 않았던 새로운和答歌이다. Newly discovered 『Gogeummyeongjakga』 is a copy collection of the old poetry SI-JO, which is specified in the book of yellow Gojeongji. 『Gogeummyeongjakga』 is guessed to be copied before the 17th year of King Yeongjo's reign(1740) and thus it's the early collection in the history of the Korean verse, Shijo. According to our research, there are 78poems in the collection and nine out of them hasn't been yet reported to the Korean Academy. The characteristics of Shijo in the book are followed. First, The collection is different from other books since the book was written in Korean instead of Chinese characters, which shows the uniqueness of the Korean literature in the late 17th and the early 18th century. Secondly, there are different versions of a poem in the collection, which is quite unusual in the other collections. There are different words or phrases used in different versions and even the whole verse is modified in some cases. Thirdly, two out of newly discovered nine short lyric songs is transformed from <Daepungga> and <Haehaga> that are kind of Chinese Ak-Bu. By the way, the compiler of 『Gogeummyeongjakga』 seemed to understand the co-relation between Ak-Bu and Ship, and that's why he chose transformed Ship from Ak-Bu not Chinese poetry. Among nine poems, <9> and <10> are newly discovered responding songs unknown up till now.
CONSTRUCTION, ASSEMBLY AND COMMISSIONING OF KSTAR MAIN STRUCTURES

The KSTAR device succeeded in first plasma generation on $13^{th}$ June of 2008 through comprehensive system test and commissioning. Among various kinds of the key factors that decisively affected the project, success in the construction and assembly of the major tokamak structure was most important one. Every engineering aspects of each structure were finally confirmed in the integrated commissioning period, and there were no severe troubles and failures prevented the KSTAR device from operating during the commissioning and the first plasma experiments. As a result, all of the experiences and technologies achieved through the KSTAR construction process are expected to be important fundamentals for future construction projects of superconducting fusion devices. This paper summarizes key engineering features of the major structures and of the machine assembly.
Coil Encasing and VPI Process of the KSTAR Toroidal Field Magnet System

The magnet system of the Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR) consists of 16 toroidal field (TF) coils, 4 pairs of central solenoid (CS) coils, and 3 pairs of outer poloidal field (PF) coils. Each TF coil structure has a height of 4.2 m, a width of 3.5 m, and a toroidal angle of 22.5. The TF coil generates high electromagnetic loads such as in-plane and out-of-plane forces during operation, due to the high coil current. A rigid support structure is required to withstand these loads. The TF coil winding pack (WP) is encased in a structure to enhance mechanical stability. The TF coil structure consists of a case part and a cover part. The two important processes are insertion of the coil winding pack and the filling of the assembly gap for manufacturing the TF magnet. In this paper, the requirements and procedures for the assembly of the TF coil winding pack and structure are presented.

Background Herbal prescriptions have various effects and their efficacy is potentiated by the use of combinations of medicinal herbs. Objective Jageum-Jung (JGJ) is a traditional oriental medical prescription composed of five herbs. It has been used for detoxifi cation, and as an anti-inflammatory and antitumor agent. However, the effect of JGJ on hepatic fibrogenesis is unclear. Results We investigated the role of JGJ in TGF-β1/smad signaling, which is implicated in fibrogenesis, and its hepatoprotective effect in CCl 4 -treated mice with liver fi brosis. Treatment of LX-2 cells with TGF-β induced expression of mediators (α-SMA, PAI-1, and MMP-2) of fibrogenesis and activation of proinflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6). However, these were downregulated by pretreatment with JGJ. In mice, oral administration of JGJ prevented liver injury induced by CCl 4 , as indicated by decreases in the ALT and AST levels. Conclusions JGJ inhibits hepatic fibrogenesis and TGF-β1/Smad signaling.

등축정계의 결정구조를 지니는 무색 투명한 저코니아($Zr_{0.73}Y_{0.27}O_{1.87}$) 결정을 $Y_2O_3$를 안정제로 사용하여 Bridgman-Stockbager법(또는 Skull 용융법)으로 합성하였다. 육성된 결정은 유리광택을 나타내며 동시에 약간의 지방 광택도 띤다. 저코니아 결정은 편광현미경하에서 등방성을 나타내며 이방성의 징후는 발견되지 않는다. 모스 경도는 $8{\sim}8\frac{1}{2}$이고 비중은 5.85이다. 자외선하에서는 약한 백색 형광을 낸다. 단결정법으로 결정한 저코니아의 결정구조는 등축정계이며, 공간군은 $Fm3m({O^5}_h)$이다. 단위포 상수(a)는 $5.1552(5){\AA}$이며, $V=136.99(5){\AA}$, Z=4, R=0.0488이다. 저코니움 원자는 각 모서리에 산소 원자가 자리잡고 있는 육면체의 중심에 위치하고 있으며, 각 산소 원자는 저코니움 원자로 되어 있는 사면체의 중심에 위치하고 있다. 결국 8:4의 배위수가 성립하는 구조를 하고 있다. Colorless and transparent cubic zirconia($Zr_{0.73}Y_{0.27}O_{1.87}$) crystal has been synthesized by the Bridgman-Stock-bager method(also called Skull melting method). $Y_2O_3$ is used as stabilizer. The crystal shows a vitreous luster with a slight oily appearance. Under a polarizing microscope, it shows isotropic nature with no appreciable anisotropism. Mohs hardness value is measured to be $8{\sim}8\frac{1}{2}$ and specific gravity 5.85. Under ultraviolet light it shows a faint white glow. The crystal structure of yttria stabilized zirconia was determined, using single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques to be a cubic symmetry, space group $Fm\overline{3}m({O^5}_h)$ with $a=5.1552(5){\AA}$, $V=136.99(5){\AA}^3$, Z=4, and R=0.0488 for 29 unique reflections. Each zirconium atom is at the center of eight oxygen atoms situated at the corners of a surrounding cube and each oxygen atom is at the center of a tetrahedron of zirconium atoms. So a coordination of 8:4 holds in the structure.

It is important to determine supporting locations for structural stability of a structure under non-uniform<br/> load in space interfered by other parts. In this case, There are many local optima with discontinuous design<br/> space. Therefore, The traditional optimization methods based on derivative are not suitable. Whereas, Genetic<br/> algorithm(GA) based on stochastic search technique is a very robust and general method. This paper has been<br/> presented to determine supporting locations of the vertical supports for reducing stress of the KSTAR(Korea<br/> super Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research) IVCC(In-vessel control coil) under non-uniform<br/> electromagnetic load and space interfered by other parts using genetic algorithm. For this study, we develop a<br/> program combining finite element analysis with a genetic algorithm to perform structural analysis of IVCC. In<br/> addition, this paper presents a technique to perform optimization with FEM when design variables are trapped<br/> in an incongruent design space.
