Hydrogenated Amorphous Silicon (a-Si:H) is used as an emitter layer in HIT (heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin layer) solar cells. Its low band gap and low optical properties (low transmittance and high absorption) cause parasitic absorption on the front side of a solar cell that significantly reduces the solar cell blue response. To overcome this, research on CSC (carrier Selective Contacts) is being actively carried out to reduce carrier recombination and improve carrier transportation as a means to approach the theoretical efficiency of silicon solar cells. Among CSC materials, molybdenum oxide ($MoO_x$) is most commonly used for the hole transport layer (HTL) of a solar cell due to its high work function and wide band gap. This paper analyzes the electrical and optical properties of $MoO_x$ thin films for use in the HTL of HIT solar cells. The optical properties of $MoO_x$ show better performance than a-Si:H and ${\mu}c-SiO_x:H$.
디지털 임플란트 시스템을 전용한 "All-on-4" 개념의 임플란트 보철 증례

최근 치과치료의 영역에서 디지털 임플란트 시스템은 그 영역을 넓혀 나가고 있다. 디지털 장비들의 기술적 발전에 힘입어 한계점들이 하나 둘씩 극복되었다. 초기 단일치아 수복 정도에나 사용되었던 디지털 임플란트 시스템은 임플란트 수술에서부터 보철물 제작까지 무치악의 영역에서도 사용되고 있다. 본 증례에서는 50세의 하악 무치악 환자가 임플란트를 이용한 교합 재건을 원하였다. 하악의 임플란트 수복을 위해서 "All-on-4" 개념의 디지털 임플란트 시스템 사용을 계획하였고, 무절개 수술을 위한 가이드 장치를 제작하여 수술을 시행하였다. 수술 후, 전악 보철을 디지털 장비를 이용하여 제작하였다. 전체 치료 과정에서 기존의 아날로그 방식(인상채득, 납형 제작, 주조 등)을 가능한 배제하고 디지털 시스템을 이용하여 기공과정 및 임상과정을 최소화하기로 계획하였고 만족할만한 결과를 얻었기에 보고하는 바이다. Recently, digital implant systems are expanding its influence in dental area. Due to technical improvement, they jumped over their limits nowadays. We can use these newest systems to treat edentulous patient, from implant surgery to fabrication of prosthesis. In this case, The patient was a fifty years old female. She had a full edentulous ridge on mandible and wanted to reconstruct occlusion with using implants. We planned to use digital implant system with "all-on-4" concept on mandible and produced surgical guide for flapless implant surgery. After the surgery, we tried to fabricate full arch prosthesis just using a digital devices and confirmed satisfying result.

The semen from four male dogs which had been proven to be fertile in the past were frozen in a deep freezer at $-60^{\circ}C$ by simple freezing method using methanol and preserved at the same teperature for from 7 to 10 days. The semen were inseminated to 7 female dogs in estrus to find out the usability of this freezing method in artificial insemination for dogs. In addition, post-thaw motility and viability of sperm from two male dogs which had been fertile were also evaluated to investigate individual difference. Successful pregnancy was obtained by artificial insemination with canine semen frozen at $-60^{\circ}C$ by simple freezing method using methanol, namely, 3 bitches among 7 bitches which had been inseminated delivered puppies(42.8%). The average litter size of the whelping dogs were 4.3 puppies. The average post-thaw motility of canine sperm in the cases of conception was showen higher than those of non-conception(65.0% vs. 42.5%), along with the, same result in the average post-thaw viability between the two groups(53.3% vs, 27.5%). Individual difference of post-thaw motility and viability was obtained between two fertile dogs(p<0.05).

To study the conditions to enhance success of embryo transfer in the dog, 20 mixed-breed bitches were used for the experiment along with 4 male dogs for mating. The bitches were paired according to synchronism of natural estrus, or the counterpart as donor or recipient was treated with gonadotropin as FSH (follicular stimulating hormone) or PMSG (pregnant mare serum gonadotropin) for induction of estrus to be synchronized with estrus of the other bitch in natural estrus. Embryo recovery was performed in two ways for comparison, either by flushing each uterine horn after ovariohysterectomy or by flushing each horn in the state of non-ovariohysterectomy. In addition, the result of pregnancy according to the embryo stage and the repeatability of the experimental animals as donor or recipient were also investigated. FSH or PMSG was administered to the bitches which had passed over 4 months from last estrus, resulting in estrus-positive in 3 dogs of 6 FSH-treated dogs (50.0%), and in 5 dogs of 9 PMSG-treated dogs (55.6%), determined by proestrus signs and vaginal smear test. Estrus-positive bitches induced with gonadotropin were used as donor or recipient resulting in one embryo-recovered bitch as donor and one offspring-delivered bitch as recipient in 5 PMSG-treated dogs, whereas no result was obtained from 3 FSH-treated dogs. The rate of embryo recovery to be compared with number of corpus luteum was 68.2% in ovariohysterectomized dogs and 55.2% in non-ovariohysterectomized dogs, respectively. The number of dogs from which embryo was collected were 4 dogs of 6 ovariohysterectomized dogs (66.7%) and 6 dogs of 7 non-ovariohysterectomized dogs (85.7%), respectively. The result of parturition was obtained from one dog of 5 estrus-induced recipients, whereas no result was obtained from 3 natural-estrus recipients. The only dog which delivered a male puppy had been transferred 3 morulae and 2 blastocysts. Of 6 repeat-used bitches in canine embryo transfer, 3 dogs showed repeatability either as donor or recipient. These results indicated that inducing estrus of a dog with gonadotropin is feasible in canine embryo transfer to be synchronized with that of a natural-estrus dog, that embryo recovery is also possible in non-hysterectomized dogs, that the estrus-induced dog is also usable as recipient to result in parturition, and that repeat-use of a bitch as donor or(and) recipient is possible in canine embryo transfer.

The purpose of this study is to clarify geological age of leucogranitic rocks in the Samcheog area. Petrographical and geochronological features of leucogranitic rock are as follows; (1) These rocks in the area can be classified into two rock types: Moogho leucogranite gneiss and Yimwon leucogranite. (2) These rocks intruded into Precambrian metasediments and are overlain by Paleozoic sedimentary rocks. (3) These rocks are distinctly showing slight foliation and containing garnet and sillimanite which produced by assimilation and contamination. (4) Rb/Sr whole rock age of these rocks indicates an isochron of $2088{\pm}8.5$ m.y. with the initial $^{87}Sr/^{86}Sr$ ratio of $0.7108{\pm}0.0007$.
제천(提川) 화강암체(花崗岩體)에 대(對)한 암석학적(岩石學的) 연구(硏究)

The Jecheon granite mass has turtle-shape exposure of about $190km^2$ at vicinity of Jecheon-eup, and is elongated in the direction of NEE-SWW. It discordantly intrudes the Bakdalryong metamorphic rocks and the great limestone series(Samtaesan and Hungwolri formation) which belong to the pre-Cambrian and Ordovician, respectively. The mass is composed of five facies of different grain size; texture and charecteristic minerals. The five facies are (1) coarse grained biotite granodiorite, (2) fine grained hornblende biotite granodiorite, (3) coarse grained pink feldspar granodiorite (4) leucogranite, and (5) porphyritic biotite granite. The mutual relationship between each facies is intrusion in (1)-(2) and (2)-(3), but unknown in (3)-(4) and (4)-(5). 22 modal analyses and and 10 chemical analyses on more than a hundred of representative samples taken from the mass are listed as tables. Triangular plot of modal and normative Q-Kf-Pl of this mass show a continuous differentiation products from certain common magma by change of chemical composition and anorthite contents in plagioclase. The metamorphic facies of contact aureole in surrounding rocks adjacent to the granite body are corresponded to hornblende hornfels facies with mineral assemblages of wollastonite-diopside-calcite in calcareous rocks, and of quartz-biotite-muscovite-cordierite in argillaceous rocks. Variation of silica versus oxides of major elements shows that the mass is similar to the trend of Daly's average basalt-andesite-dacite-rhyolite which shows the trend of the fractional crystallization of magma, and is equivalent to the calc-alkali rock series by Peacock. AMF diagram shows that Jecheon granite mass is equivalent to normal diffentiation products such as skaergaard intrusion. The above evidences suggest that the Jecohon granite mass is normal differentiation products formed by fractional crystallization under relatively slow cooling condition.
한반도 남서부 남원 일대에 분포하는 A형 대강 화강암의 암석학, 지화학 및 지구조적 의미

Daegang granite is located around the Namwon-gun, Cheolabuk-do, and is an elongate stock $(80 km^{2})$ in the NNE-SSW direction. Daegang granite has the very same mineralogical and geochemical characteristics as those of the typical A-type granites; (1) it is a one feldspar hypersolvus granite, and is classified as an alkali feldspar granite in the lUGS scheme, (2) has small amounts of Fe-rich biotite (annite) and alkali amphibole (ribeckite) that are late in the crystallization sequence of the granitic magma, (3) always contains opaque oxides, fluorite and zircon, (4) shows high and quite homogeneous $SiO_2$, content (mostly 72~77 wt.%) and $(Na_{2}O+K_{2}O)/Al_{2}O_{3}$ ratio (0.90~0.98), (5) contains high Ga, lOOOO*Ga/Ai, $K_{2}O+Na_{2}O$, $(K_{2}O+Na_{2}O)/CaO$, $K_{2}O/MgO$, FeO/MgO, agpaitic index, Zr, Nb, Ce, Y, Zn value or ratio that resemble to those of the Australian A-type granites (Whalen et al., 1987), and (6) has enriched LREE and HREE that show flat variation pattern with slightly depleted in HREE and profound Eu anomalies (Eu/Eu*=0.04~0.l4). In the tectonic discrimination diagrams of Pearce et al. (1984) and Eby (1992), Daegang granite is classified as a within plate granite and $A_{2}-type$.
