        도시공원의 지역적 정체성 평가와 유용성 - 수도권 신도시를 중심으로 -

        Recent expansion of urban parks has been partly successful in terms of providing urban outdoor recreation space. Unfortunately we paid very little attention to the importance of providing regional identity to urban parks until recently. Thus one of the most important tasks of the contemporary landscape architects of Korea is to investigate ways to improve regional identity of urban parks. This study is aimed at evaluating how well the current urban parks have realized their own regional identity. To test the effectiveness of the concept of 'identity', the identity items were created, while a research model was developed by using such variables as in urban park identity, park satisfaction, belongingness to the region, and residential satisfaction. In order to test the model, the causations were analyzed. Meanwhile, the scales to evaluating identity were reviewed by means of the unstructures group interview, and were finally determined as 10 items; culture, uniqueness, symbolic, historic nature, homogeneity, harmony, difference, public benefit, nativeness and traditionality. Data from three new towns in the capital region-Bundang, Ilsan and Sanbon-were collected, and their central parks were referred to a questionnaire survey. The data were processed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and path analysis. It was found through this survey that subjects 'sentiments regarding the sample towns' regional identity differed slightly. Residents of Bundang felt the strongest amount of regional identity, followed by those of Ilsan and Sanbon. In addition, the most important scale on regional identity is 'park satisfaction', followed by 'belongingness to the region' and 'residental satisfaction'. The path analysis was conducted to interpret the causations in a more detailed and comprehensive way than correlation analysis. As a result, it was proven that the regional identity affects 'belingingness to region' through the intermediated variable 'park satisfaction', while affecting ' residential satisfaction' through the intermediate variables 'park satisfaction' and 'beligningness to region'. In other words, although the regional identity of a park does not directly affect 'belongingness to region' or 'residental satisfaction', it has indirect effects on them through intermediate variables.

        『지킬 박사와 하이드』, 『허공에 매달린 사람』, <아바타>에 나타난 자아 정체성의 세 유형

        The purpose of this paper is to analyze three types of identity in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Dangling Man, and Avatar on the basis of Erick Erickson’s self identity. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a ‘profound allegory’, that explores into the two-fold nature of man. When Dr. Jekyll divides himself into two separate identities by his scientific knowledge, he experiences unexpected symptoms of the “identity diffusion” described by Erick Erickson, ultimately destroying himself. But Joseph in Dangling Man responds to his identity crisis caused by the absurd situation in an opposite way, trying to reconcile his ideal and existential self. He willingly embraces the existential, human condition at the sacrifice of immature and romantic self. Therefore, his identity crisis can be categorized into “identity moratorium” according to Erickson, which can be found in the transitional period of life. The identity conflict in the case of Joseph helps him to equip a more solid and mature identity. Jake in Avatar goes through serious “borderline state” caused by his multiple identities as a disabled marine, Na’vi warrior, and spy who falls in love with a woman in the hostile land. He later discovers his hidden identity as the Messiah of Na’vi. His new identity as a savior replaces his multiple identities, bringing victory to Na’vi by uniting all the resources of the planet Pandora; Na’vi tribes, beasts, birds, and Eywa. Jake attends his own funeral where his identity as a human dies and his new identity as a Na’vi resurrects, bringing an end to his identity conflict once and for all. His ultimate identity is similar to the transcendental or spiritual identity as the result of the conversion in religious experience.

        북한이탈주민들의 ‘정체성의 이주’ 패러다임에 관한 연구

        This study rise a concept of ‘Migration of Identity’ as a theoretical background to explain the global migrations of North Korean defectors and analyzes the paradigm. Identities constantly changes in space and boundaries. ‘Migration of Identity’ is a concept describing the special migration paradigms of foreign migrants, including the leaving of South Korea by North Korean defectors. ‘Identity of Migration’ refers to changes of identity due to interactions with various political, economic, social, and cultural boundaries within a country compared with the cultural boundaries of the mother country. In contrast, ‘Migration of Identity’ mainly consists of changes in identity due to external factors such as (typified identity, confusion of external information, survival, and so on). In the latter case, extrinsic factors induce the confusion or change of human rationality, leaving the concepts of lawfulness or illegality. In other words, ‘Identity of Migration’ is a change of identity due to migration in one country, but ‘Migration of Identity’ is a phenomenon of migration due to the change of identity in many national borders. The paradigm known as ‘Migration of Identity’ functions as an integrated model that can comprehensively explain and evaluate middle- complex problems like the global migrations of North Korean defectors, defections, adaptation and maladjustment, settlement and policy, conflict, and social integration and unification. 이 연구는 북한이탈주민들의 전 세계적인 이주현상을 설명하기 위한 이론적 배경으로 ‘정체성의 이주’ 개념을 제기하고 그 패러다임을 분석한다. 정체성은 공간과 경계를 타고 끊임없이 변화한다. ‘이주의 정체성’과 달리 ‘정체성의 이주’는 북한이탈주민의 탈남을 포함하는 해외 이주현상의 특수한 이주 패러다임을 분석하기 위한 개념이다. ‘이주의 정체성’은 한 국가 내에서 다양한 정치⋅경제⋅사회⋅문화적 경계의 상호작용과 모국⋅타국의 문화적 경계에 따른 정체성의 변화이다. 이와 다르게 ‘정체성의 이주’는 주로 외적요인(타자화된 정체성, 외부정보의 혼란, 생존 등)에 의한 다양한 정체성의 변화가 다수의 국가경계와 공간을 넘나들며 이주를 가능하게 하는 특유의 이주현상이다. 후자의 경우, 외적요인은 합법이나 불법의 개념을 떠나 인간이성의 혼란이나 변화를 먼저 유혹하는 수단이다. 즉 ‘이주의 정체성’은 대부분 한 국가 내에서 이주에 따른 정체성의 변화이지만, ‘정체성의 이주’는 다수의 국가경계에서 정체성의 변화에 따른 이주현상이다. ‘정체성의 이주’ 패러다임 제기는 북한이탈주민들의 전 세계적 이주현상뿐만 아니라 탈북, 적응과 부적응, 정착과 정책, 갈등과 사회통합, 통일의 중층복합적인 문제점들을 종합적으로 설명하고 평가할 수 있는 통합적 설명모델로 기능할 수 있다고 평가된다.

        정체성, 인간과 공간의 관계를 설명하는 노두

        이 논문의 목적은 정체성이 인간과 공간의 관계를 설명하는 데 중요한 요소임을 밝히는 데 있다. 지리학은 지표위에 새겨져 있는 인간의 흔적에 관심 갖는다. 누가 왜 그와 같은 흔적을 남겼는지 탐색한다. 인간이 지표위에 남긴 흔적을 통해 존재에 대해 설명한다. 인간은 내가 누구이고, 우리가 누구인지를 알리기 위해 지표위에 흔적을 남긴다. 인간이 새겨놓은 흔적은 그 자신만의 이야기를 담는다. 우리는 그 흔적을 통해 이야기를 구성하고, 인간을 이해한다. 인간이 새겨놓은 흔적은 나의 정체성을 표현한다. 그 흔적에 담겨있는 이야기는 나만의 것이다. 자신만의 이야기로 구성된 정체성은 크게 두 가지로 나눌 수 있다. ‘변화하는 정체성’과 ‘변화하지 않는 정체성’이다. 변화하는 정체성은 차이와 다름을 통해 자신의 정체성을 형성한다. 변화하지 않는 정체성은 동일시와 같음을 통해 정체성을 구성한다. 하지만, 매일의 삶의 과정에서 생성되는 나의 모습이 같은 듯 다른 모습이듯이 정체성 역시도 생성과 반복의 과정을 통해 변화한다. 그렇기에 정체성은 지금도 변화하고 있는 현재형이고, 진행형인 것이다. This paper aims to reveal that ‘identity’plays the crucial role of explaining the relation between humans and space. Geography is preoccupied with footprints of humans which are engraved on the ground. It explores why such tokens are left over. It explains the existence of humans through footsteps of them. Men leaves traces of themselves to notify that who I was and who we were. The traces left behind by humans contain narratives of their own. Through those narratives, the very men who left the traces on the ground are to be grasped. A trace engraved by a person expresses its own identity of representing that person, so the narrative contained by one trace is the narrative of that individual. The identify which is composed of its own narrative can be largely divided into two types. The two are ‘changing identity’and ‘unchanging identity’. ‘Changing identity’ shapes the identity of oneself by difference. ‘Unchanging identity’ constructs the identity by identifying itself with sameness. However, as one’s figure in everyday life becomes identical or different, identity also varies through processes of generation and repetition. Therefore, identity is currently changing and in progress.

        다이나믹 아이덴티티 디자인 개발 연구

        스마트 모바일 시대와 소셜 네트워크 서비스(SNS)의 성장으로 오늘날의 미디어 환경은 사람들의 커뮤니케이션 방식을 바꿔놓았다. 기업에 입장에서는 소비자와의 커뮤니케이션 전략을 재수립하는 과정이 필요해졌고, 기업 아이덴티티를 위한 디자인 시스템에도 변화가 생겼다. 고정적이고 일방적인 방법으로 사람들에게 보여주던 기존의 스태틱 아이덴티티 디자인 시스템이 일반적인 시스템이었지만, 기술과 매체와의 상호작용을 통해 유연하고, 다이나믹한 아이덴티티 디자인시스템이 등장하였다. 그러나 그동안 국내 기업들의 아이덴티티 디자인은 이런 변화된 시스템을 활용하는 사례가 해외사례에 상대적으로 소극적이거나 제한적 활용에만 그치고 있다. 이런 현상에 주목하여 본 연구자는 국내기업이 현 사회 트렌드에 적절하게 대응하기 위한 국내 맞춤형 다이나믹 아이덴티티 디자인 시스템개발의 필요성을 인지하였다. 실질적 디자인 방향제시를 위해 시기적절해 보이는 국내 기업 한 곳을 선정하여 실험 연구를 진행하였다. 연구범위로 국내 가구 및 인테리어 시장의 유행을 선도하는 ‘H’사로 선정하고 다이나믹 아이덴티티 디자인 개발에 필요한 이론적 자료 및 해당기업의 디자인을 제안하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 범위는 2장에서 아이덴티티 디자인에 대한 이론적 배경과 유연한 아이덴티티 관련 선행연구를 바탕으로 아이덴티티 디자인 시스템 사이의 관계를 도식화를 한다. 다이나믹 아이덴티티에 대한 본 연구자의 정의와 선행이론을 바탕으로 이에 합당한 분류방법과, 표현요소를 정리하였다. 3장에서는 다이나믹 아이덴티티가 활용된 해외 및 국내의 리뉴얼 사례로 각각 다섯 기업을 선정하고, 표현요소에 사용 빈도에 따라 사례 분석을 하였다. 4장에서는 기업 ‘H’사의 아이덴티티, 과거와 현재의 아이덴티티 디자인 요소 및 관련된 기업 및 사회 트렌드 조사를 바탕으로 3장의 사례분석결과와의 개연성을 따져 5장에서 실질적 적용이 가능한 디자인을 추출하는 연구를 진행 하였다. 연구 목적 달성을 위한 구체적 연구 방법으로 다이나믹 아이덴티티 디자인의 표현요소를 내적, 시각적, 상호작용적 요소로 세분화하였다. ‘H’사의 디자인 개발순서는 첫째, ‘H’사의 내적 요소 분석을 통한 키워드 추출을 한다. 둘째, 3장의 사례 분석의 사용 빈도 결과에 따라 빈도가 낮은 표현 요소에 대해 상대적 사용비중을 높게 둔다. 셋째, 시각적 표현 요소에 대한 디자인 리뉴얼 개발을 진행 하였다. 넷째, 상호작용적 표현 요소에 대한 디자인 리뉴얼 개발을 진행하였다. 이 연구의 결과 ‘H’사의 아이덴티티 디자인 방향제시에서 내적 표현 요소를 시각적 표현으로 전환 할 때의 유연성을 기본 요소로 겹겹이 쌓아 올리는 레이어 방식을 활용하여 곡선과 직선의 조화, 규칙성과 유연성 사이의 조화, 서양과 동양의 조화를 표현하였다. 운동성(모션)과 일관성의 파괴를 사용하여 역동성, 도전정신을 표현하고, 상호작용적 표현 요소를 통해 소비자와의 소통하는 기업의 이미지를 표현하였다. 본 연구의 디자인 방향제시를 기반으로 본 연구자는 앞으로 한국적 다이나믹 아이덴티티 적용에 대한 다양한 시각화 혹은 상호작용적 표현에 관한 좀 더 구체적인 연구를 진행할 계획이다. With the advent of the Smart Mobile era and the growth of Social Network Service (SNS), today’s media environment has changed the way that people communicate. Thus, for companies, a process of re-establishing a communication strategy with consumers has become necessary, and the design system for the corporate identity changed. While a static identity design system that shows the corporate identity to consumers in a fixed and general way has been a common system, a flexible and dynamic identity design system through interactions between technology and media has emerged. However, thus far, identity designs of domestic companies have been relatively passive or limited in utilizing such a changed system compared to overseas cases. Noting this phenomenon, we recognized the necessity of developing a domestically specific dynamic identity design system for domestic companies to respond properly to the current social trends. Thus, an experimental study was conducted by selecting a domestic company, which seemed timely in order to suggest a substantive design direction. As for the research scope, selecting ‘H’ Company that is leading the trends in the domestic furniture and interior markets, this study aims to provide theoretical data necessary for the development of a dynamic identity design and to propose a design for the company. As for the research scope, Chapter 2 schematizes the relationship between identity design systems based on the theoretical background of identity design and the preceding studies related to flexible identity. Based on the researcher’s definition of dynamic identity and the preceding theories, this study summarized the method of classification and the elements of expression, appropriate for this. Chapter 3 selected five enterprises, respectively as cases of domestic and foreign renewal and conducted a case analysis according to the frequency of the use of the elements of expression. Chapter 4 verified the probability as compared to the result of the case analysis in Chapter 3 based on the identity of ‘H’Company, identity design elements in the past and present, the related enterprises and social trend, and Chapter 5 conducted a study for extracting a design that could be actually applied. As a concrete research method to achieve the research purpose, this study subdivided the elements of the expression of dynamic identity design into internal, visual and interactive elements. The order of the development of the design for ‘H’ Company is as follows: First, key words were extracted through an analysis of internal elements. Second, according to the result of the frequency of use in the case analysis, relatively higher weight of use was given to the elements of expression with a lower frequency. Third, the development of design renewal of visual elements of expression was made. Fourth, the development of design renewal of interactive elements of expression was made. As a result of this study, this study expressed the harmonies between curve and straight line, between regularity and flexibility, and between the West and the East, utilizing the layer method of laying one upon another with flexibility in the conversion of internal elements of expression to visual elements of expression in the presentation of a direction of ‘H’ Company’s identity design as the basic element. This study expressed the dynamics and challenging spirit using the destruction of mobility (motion) and consistency and expressed the image of the enterprise that communicates with consumers through interactive elements of expression. Based on the presentation of the direction of design in this study, this researcher will conduct a more concrete study of various visualizations or interactive expressions concerning the application of Korean dynamic identity.

        국민/민족 상상과 시민권의 차질, 차질로서의 자기정체성

        The correct question to identify oneself may be “Who are you?” rather than “What are you?” We probably have no other choice but to answer “I am myself” to this question. But, “myself” in this context can be seen as the intersection of various “we”, to which I belong including race, nation, ethnicity, and gender. If so, it is not surprising that we come to say “I hate who I am.” Today, although the term “identity” is used in many different and confusing contexts, it is ultimately the question of identifying an individual who is distinguished from other people, defined as its uniqueness and permanence. “Collective identity” may be defined as the perception of an individual - the imagination that one safely and obligatorily belongs to a group - rather than a kind of collective representation. It may also be defined a collective dimension of each individual's distinctive identity. The collective identity, which is conspicuously observed in the modern history of East Asia, appears in the form of the national identity. Nationalism requires its members to assume one body with many parts, and thus, require them to die and to kill each other for the sake of the nation. As an imagined community, a nation does not have either clear extension or boundary, and thus is assumed to be an unbound seriality which consists of voluntary will of each individual. The reality, however, is the reverse. In fact, what decides who can be the member of a nation is not up to the passionate will of an individual. On the contrary, the citizenship is given to an individual as the right with which one is endowed at the time of birth, and its verification and confirmation is available through official identification, such as standardized registration or documentation, ID card, and passport. All of these are the instrument of governmentality of modern bureaucratic state. Of course, we can say that my identity precedes my ID card or passport. Moreover, I would feel a strong temptation to escape from the identification process the very instant my identity is verified with those records. In the same way, thus, we can say my identity does not reside in the imagination of the nation, but in breaking the metaphor. If one's identity can be defined as the struggle to escape from the procedure of identifying oneself, the identity exists only in the discordance between nation-imagination and citizenship.         교회학교 교사의 정체성 개발을 위한 교사교육 프로그램에 대한 제안

        This article suggested some matters to consider when forming church school teachers' identity by looking at the definition, roles and process of formation of their identity. Identity is defined as the project that is given to an individual throughout his / her life that helps them understand themselves in their own perspectives and helps them live a meaningful life as a person. Identity forms with interactions with other people among social and cultural environments by collecting information of themselves and internalizing the concepts. While imitating the values of social interactions, identity is formed. As an individual grown, obtaining completed accomplishment experiences is also important to form identity. The ideas, values and beliefs can help an individual to pursuit a direction of life to form his / her identity. There is a development in identity by having the interaction with significant objects through internalizing and identification. A mature leader who takes charge teacher education program should provide affirmative influences. This article suggested that there should be a selection of educational programs for a functional teacher with ability. To build up a positive image of God and a consistent relationship with God, to form the belief system and to have the chances of selfexploration, educational content and methods should be selected. To bring positive interactions among the learners, the author suggests to regularly select a good example and reward them. Through this, value of imitation and ideal self will be enlarged for individual learners. There is a need for positive influence in social and cultural environments that is most suitable for forming identity by composing an educational community. Individuals' life stories can also be used as an educational method to form identity. The method of evaluation, norm practice environment evaluation method, was suggested to evaluate by focusing on the matching treatment for the desirable environment to establish identity. 정체성의 정의 및 역할, 형성과정에 대해 사회-심리학적으로 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 교회학교 교사들의 정체성 형성을 돕기 위해 교사교육 프로그램에 고려해야 할 사항들을 제안하였다. 정체성이란 인생의 전 주기에 지속적으로 요구되는 과제이며 과정으로 자신에 대해 통합적으로 이해하여 각자의 삶의 여러 자리에서 의미 있는 삶을 살아갈 수 있는 통 합된 인격체가 될 수 있게 하는 것이다. 정체성은 사회 문화적 환경에서 다른 사람들과의 상호작용을 통해 자신에 대한 여러 정보들을 취하여 자신에 대한 개념을 내면화시키며 형 성된다. 사회적 상호작용을 하면서 만나는 여러 대상들의 가치 있다고 생각되는 부분을 모 방하는 동일시 과정을 통하여 정체성은 형성된다고 한다. 또한 살아가면서 획득하는 개인의 성취경험이 정체성 형성에 중요한 역할을 하며, 이념이나 가치관, 신념 체계 등도 각 개인 의 삶의 방향을 추구하게 하여 정체성 형성에 영향을 끼치는 요인이다. 또한 대상과의 상호 작용을 통해 내사와 동일시를 거쳐 내면화 체계를 구성하면서 자아 이상의 형성을 하게 되 며 정체성을 발달시키게 된다고 한다. 긍정적 영향을 끼치며 건강한 동일시를 제공할 만한 교육지도자가 교육을 담당하며, 긍 정적 하나님 이미지와 하나님과 개인적이며 일관성 있는 대상관계 형성을 위한 교육내용과 신념 체제 형성을 위한 교육내용과 기능적으로 유능한 교사로 교육하기 위한 교육내용을 선정해야 함을 제안하였다. 자기 탐색의 기회를 제공하는 교육내용과 방법이 고려될 필요도 제안하였다. 학습자간의 긍정적 상호작용을 일으키기 위해 모범 교사를 정기적으로 선정하 여 시상함으로 모방할 만한 가치가 있는 교사상을 제공하여 자아이상을 확대시켜 나가도록 하는 것을 제안하였다. 정체성 형성을 위해 중요한 사회 문화적 환경을 위해 긍정적인 영향 을 끼칠 수 있는 최적의 교사교육 공동체를 조성하여 조직의 풍토를 만들어 나가야 함을 제안하였다. 교사교육 프로그램의 평가 방법으로 정체성 확립을 위해 적합한 처치환경을 바람직한 수준으로 조성하였는가에 초점을 두어 실시하는 규범 실천 환경 평가방법을 사용할 것을 제 안하였다.

        The Asymmetric Effects of Identity Salience on Judgement: The Role of Valence and Attribute Congruence

        A salient identity influences individuals' judgment on products. The current research investigates why identity salience sometimes produces asymmetric effects on an individual's judgment such that a salient identity often influences judgment on identity-congruent products only or identity-incongruent products only. Across two experiments, this research proposes and shows that the valence of identity-incongruent and identity-congruent attributes determines the direction of the asymmetric identity salience effects. Specifically, when an attribute of an identity-incongruent product is positively- (negatively-) valenced, identity salience influences judgment through a decreased (increased) preference for the identity-incongruent (identity-congruent) product.

      • 민족정체성, 그리고 한민족의 민족정체성

        한민족의 민족정체성에 대한 질문은 그 자체로 흥미로운 주제이면서 실천적 의의 또한 중요하다. 한말의 국학이래 민족정체성에 대한 탐구가 진행되어 왔지만, 그러나 아직 만족스럽 해명은 나오지 않은 실정이라 할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 민족정체성 문제에 대한 기초적인 논의에 토대하여 한민족의 민족정체성을 어떻게 규정할 수 있을지 하는 문제를 검토하였다. 이 논문에서 다루려한 문제는 다음의 세가지로 진술될 수 있을 것이다. (1) 민족정체성이란 말의 개념과 구성요소 및 속성들에 대한 이해를 도모해보고자 하였다. 여기서는 민족정체성이 개인이나 집단에게 제기되는 정체성의 한 양상이라는 점과 역사적으로 형성되어온 어떤 것이라는 점을 고려하면서 민족정체성이 가지는 성격을 검토하고자 하였으며, 특히 그것의 유지·존속에 관여하는 요인들을 살펴보고자 하였다. (2) 민족정체성이 가지는 의의와 중요성에 대해 논의하고자 하였다. 여기에서는 민족정체성이 민족주의와 불가분의 관련이 있음을 감안하여, 민족주의에 대한 비판과 그에 대해 제기될 수 있는 반론을 제기하는 가운데 민족정체성이 가지는 의의를 드러내고자 하였으며, 특히 포스트모더니즘의 민족이론들을 염두에 두면서 민족정체성 문제를 검토하였다. (3) 한민족은 누구인가 라는 질문에 대해 나름의 대답을 도모하고자 하였다. 한민족이라는 용어에 대한 고찰에 이어, 한민족이 갖고 있는 종족적·문화적·언어적·역사적 특징으로의 외적 정체성과, 스스로를 어떻게 인식하였는가 하는 내적 측면의 정체성에 대해 살피고, 한민족의 민족정체성에 대해 연구자 나름의 요약된 결론을 시도해보고자 하였다. The identity of Hanminjok is a very controversial and ambiguous theme. Its historical origin and range are the questions under debate. Moreover there are many critical evaluations around national identity. In recent years post modernists insist that the national identity is the invented tradition, which was built up by the modern governmental power or the romantic nationalists with the purpose of national integration and state building. More numerous anti-nationalists asserts that national identity is a dangerous and harmful mechanism for world peace. Of course for these opinions many objections are exist. This article examines some basic problems which must be dealed before the full-scale study on the identity of Hanminjok, the Korean nation. The interests of this paper will be summarized as following 3. (1) The first question is what is the concept and meaning of identity and national identity. As the national identity is a kind of identity, this paper starts the discussion with the meaning of identity. (2) The second question is why the national identity is necessary for mankind. This paper examines the disputes on nationalism because the national identity has inseparable ralation with nationalism. (3) The third question is who is the Korean nation and how can we define the identity of Hanminjok. This paper discusses the origin of the term of Hanminjok and examines the ethnical, cultural, linguistic and historical character of Hanminjok. Hanminjok`s sense of collective identity in Korean history is also checked.

        Study on Service Identity and Identity Framework

        Objective: Service industry has become the most important industry among various economic activities, as the percentage of service related industry in advanced nations is over 60% of their GDP and the percentage of service industry in South Korea, a traditional manufacturing nation, now takes up over 60% of the entire economy. Background: Such industry paradigm shift has changed consumers from those that simply purchased products into groups of people that evaluate the companies that manufacture products, thereby further intensifying competition among companies and increasing the importance of integrated communication between companies and consumers. However, the excessive existence of sub-identities that have been developed for integrated management of the existing corporate identities, as well as the undifferentiated general management strategies by companies are creating confusion not only for consumers but also for various corporate interest parties. In addition, service identity strategy has become the most important strategy than any other sub-identity strategies in forming corporate identity at the increased importance of corporate service in the era of service industry. However, the current domestic circumstance is that the concept of service identity has not been well established through specific related studies. Method: Accordingly, the existing academic and field studies on the corporate identity(CI), brand identity(BI) and product identity(PI) used for the communication with consumers were reviewed in this study to establish and summarize the concept of service identity(SI) that appeared at the service economization. Results: The purpose is to examine the kind of change that could be brought about by SI for the corporate integrated identity strategy developed through the existing corporate, brand & product image in order to present a new direct in corporate identity strategy according to the industry paradigm shift through a SI centered new corporate identity framework. Conclusion: For preparing the new era of service industry, the corporate integrated identity strategy must be integrate with concept of service identity and which is essential to differential from other companies. Application: The proposed concept and framework of service identity on this paper will help to understand and clearly define why service identity is important factor of the new idea of corporate identities.
