        전문대학 공학계열 학생의 기초학습능력 수준에 따른 학업성취도 결과 사례연구: I 전문대학 사례를 중심으로

        The influences of the basic academic skills to the scholastic achievement grades has been researched and we made a test of the basic academic skills(Korean language, mathematic, foreign language) to the students of engineering department in I college in Seoul and analyzed the correlation between the basic academic skills and the scholastic achievement grades. Results show that the scholastic achievement grades has a correlation(r=.456, p<0.01) to the average grade of the basic academic skill test. High level students of the scholastic achievement grades have a correlation(r=.292, p<0.01) to the mathematical department and the others have a correlation(r=.232, p<0.05 and r=.279, p<0.01) to the Korean linguistic department. The results of this study through multiple regression analysis indicate that the scholastic achievement has a relation on Korean language skill. As a result, It is recommendable that the mathematical basic academic skill programs are suggested to the high-level students of the scholastic achievement grades and the linguistic basic academic skill programs to the others. Also, the required basic linguistic subject is needed to the low-level students of the basic academic skills and in this paper, we propose the test and management system for the basic campus-life skills including the basic academic skills and the basic major skills.

        NCS직업기초능력에 기반한 종합설계교육 사례 분석에 관한 연구

        국가직무능력표준, NCS(National Competency Standards)는 대학이나 기업체 모두에서 매우 중요한 이슈로 대두되고 있다. NCS는 그동안 직업훈련기관에서 주로 사용되어 왔으나 최근 들어 2,3년제 전문대학뿐만이 아니라 4년제 대학에서도 점차 관심을 가지고 있는 추세이다. 문제해결능력, 의사소통능력, 대인관계능력 등의 NCS의 직업기초능력과 같은 소프트스킬들은 기술이 비약적으로 발전하는 지식정보사회에서는 구체적인 기술능력보다 더욱더 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 NCS의 직업기초능력과 북미와 유럽 등지에서 캡스톤 디자인으로 많이 활용하고 있는 Formula SAE 활동과의 연관성을 대회 현지관찰조사, 학생들이 작성한 대회 관련 문서들 그리고 미국 링컨에서 열린 Formula SAE대회와 한국 KSAE 대회에 참가한 학생들을 대상으로 하는 설문 조사를 통하여 분석하였다. 결과에서 학생들이 참가한 Formula SAE 대회는 NCS 직업기초능력항들과 전반적인 관점에서 밀접한 속성을 가진다는 것을 알 수가 있다. Formula SAE 활동이 NCS 직업기초능력 향상에 얼마나 도움이 되는가에 대한 설문조사에서 해외 및 국내 모두 전반적으로 리커트척도 5점 만점에 모두 4.0 이상의 점수를 나타내며 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 참고로 양 대회 참가학생들 간에 수학적능력, 의사소통능력, 문제해결능력 항들은 통계적으로 유의미한 관계를 나머지 항들은 유의차가 없는 것으로 나타났다. NCS (National Competency Standards) has emerged as an issue of great importance amongst Korean universities and corporations. Although previously used mostly for vocational education purposes at colleges, NCS is currently receiving an increasing amount of attention from 4-year universities as well. In the ever-evolving information economy, the basic workplace skills defined by NCS, which include soft skills such as communication skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills, have now become more important than specific technical skills. This study analyzes the correlation between the basic workplace skills of NCS with participation in Formula SAE activities, a common component of Capstone design courses across North America and Europe. Data are derived from site visits to Formula SAE competitions, competition-related documents drafted by student participants, and questionnaires administered to student participants at the Formula SAE Lincoln completion and at the Korea KSAE competition. From the study findings, we claim that the basic workplace skills of NCS are closely correlated to participation in Formula SAE activities. Through a survey designed to measure the degree to which Formula SAE activities can enhance an individual"s NCS Basic Workplace Skills, we find that these activities overall improved NCS basic workplace skills averaging 4.0 points above in the Likert 5-point scale. For reference the mathematical skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills displayed statistically significantly correlation with NCS but the remaining 7 skills did not show a statistically strong correlation with NCS comparatively.

        초등체육에서 기초 운동기능의 중요성과 과제

        본 연구는 운동 발달단계에서 기초 운동기능의 중요성을 고찰하고, 이를 체육교육의 ‘기초학력’으로 의미를 부여하고자 하였다. 나아가 기초 운동기능이 교육과정에 어떻게 반영되었는가를 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 기초 운동기능의 체계적인 지도를 위한 개선방안을 모색하였다. 분석 결과에 따른 제안은 첫째, 체육교과의 제1 목표를 운동능력 발달로 제시함으로써 체육교육의 정체성을 명확하게 할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 기초 운동기능을 체육교과 내용의 기본이며, 동시에 지속성을 가능하게 하는 ‘기초학력’으로 바라보는 인식의 전환이 필요하다. 셋째, 체육교육의 연계성을 고려하여 1-2학년에서 체육교과가 부활되어야 한다. 넷째, 기초 운동기능 교육 프로그램의 개발과 보급이 필요하다. 다섯째, 운동기능의 발달에 대한 기초지식과 수행 및 지도 능력을 함양할 수 있는 현직교사 연수를 강화해야 한다. 마지막으로, 모든 교육의 시작은 가정이므로 가정의 체육문화 형성을 위한 지도가 필요하다. This study examined the importance of fundamental motor skills in the stage of motor development, and attempted to give them meaning as the basic academic ability of physical education. Furthermore, it critically analyzed how basic motor skills were reflected in the curriculum. Based on this, an improvement plan was sought for systematic guidance of fundamental motor skills in physical education. Suggestions based on the analysis results are as follows: First, it is necessary to clarify the first goal of the physical education subject. In other words, it is necessary to clearly present the development of motor ability as the most important goal of physical education. Second, it is necessary to change the perception of fundamental motor skills as basic academic ability. Fundamental motor skills are the basics of the contents of physical education curriculum, and at the same time, it can be said that it is the basic academic ability to continue physical activity. Third, the physical education subject for the first and second graders must be revived. It should be made as an independent subject in consideration of the connection of education, preventing the break in the basic academic ability(fundamental motor skills) that must be acquired in the physical education subject. Fourth, it is necessary to develop and disseminate programs for instruction of basic motor skills. Fifth, it is necessary to improve the quality of teachers for guiding motor development. In particular, in-service training that can cultivate basic knowledge, performance ability and instructional ability about the development of motor skills should be strengthened. Lastly, guidance is needed to form a home sports culture. The starting point of any education is home. It can be said that physical education also begins on a home basis.

        중학생의 기초 탐구 기능 이해를 위한 명시적 교수,학습 전략의 개발 및 적용 사례 분석

        이 연구에서는 중학생의 기초 탐구 기능 이해를 위한 명시적 교수·학습 전략을 개발하고 이를 실제 수업에 적용하였으며, 교수 학습 전략의 적용 효과와 학생 변화를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구 분석을 바탕으로 기초 탐구 기능 이해를 위한 명시적 수업 단계를 모색하였으며, 기초 탐구 기능의 수업 적용 준거를 설정하여 명시적 수업 단계에 접목함으로써 기초 탐구 기능 이해를 위한 명시적 교수·학습 전략을 개발하였다. 명시적 교수·학습 전략의 단계별 수업 분석결과, 학생들은 특히 명확하게 설명하기 단계와 독립적으로 연습하기 단계를 통해 기초 탐구 기능을 더 효 과적으로 이해할 수 있었다고 진술하였으며, 현장 교사는 구체적 사례 시범 보이기 단계의 중요성을 강조하였다. 기초 탐구 기능에 대한 학생들의 이해 정도분석 결과, 대부분의 질문에서 긍정적 결과를 나타냈다. 다른 교과목, 또는 일상생활에서의 파급 효과를 분석한 결과, 학생 스스로 과학 탐구 기능을 활용하려는 태도를 가지게 된 것을 확인하였다. 이 연구에서 개발된 명시적 교수·학습 전략이 학생들의 기초 탐구 기능 이해에 효과적임을 연구 결과를 통해 확인하였으며, 과학 탐구 기능의 명시적 교수 학습 전략이 중등학교 현장에 적용 가능하도록 지속적으로 연구 및 개발, 보급되어야 할 것이다. In this study, explicit Teaching and Learning strategy for middle school students were developed to improve basic science process skills. After applying these strategy in an actual class, the effects of Teaching and Learning strategy and change of students were analyzed. Explicit Teaching and Learning strategy to improve basic science process skills are developed based on analyzing preceding research. The use of application criteria for class of basic science process skills combined with explicit Teaching and Learning strategy, it is sought for the explicit instructional procedures of said skills. After analyzing the class in which explicit Teaching and Learning strategy were demonstrated, students reported that they were able to comprehend basic science process skills more effectively through the stages of explicit explaining and independent practice. The showing demonstration stage was heavily emphasized by the teacher in this class. Analysis of students` understanding degree about basic science process skills, most of them show positive outcome. Another analysis of ripple effect on daily life and other subjects, it is found that students could have the attitude to make use of science process skills for themselves. Through the result of study, it is found that explicit Teaching and Learning strategy that are developed from this study are an effective way to comprehension students` basic science process skills. Thus, continued study is needed to develop and spread explicit Teaching and Learning strategy of science process skills to be applicable in actual classes in secondary schools.

        A 교육청 기초학력전담교사의직무수행 경험에 관한 질적 사례연구

        The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences of teachers who served as specialized basic education teachers. For this purpose, six dedicated basic education teachers who participated in the A Office of Education dedicated basic education teacher institution starting in 2022 and three homeroom teachers working at the same school were interviewed from August to October 2023 as research participants. The research results are as follows. First, the research participants' reasons for performing their duties as teachers in charge of basic learning skills were analyzed as experience of failure as a homeroom teacher, teaching experience with a child, and the accumulation of various training experiences aimed at improving their expertise in basic learning skills. Second, the job performance aspects of teachers specializing in basic learning skills were found to be creating a working circuit, practicing professional basic learning skills classes, and concentrating on their role or accepting miscellaneous tasks. Third, the perceptions of research participants regarding the job performance of teachers in charge of basic education were analyzed into jobs that require expertise, jobs that give a feeling of exhilaration but also exhaustion, and jobs that lack ripple effects. This study explored the in-depth experiences of the research participants on the specific aspects of job performance and their perceptions from the moment they began performing their duties as a teacher in charge of basic learning skills, and discussed and made suggestions on the results to improve basic learning skills institution operation. It is significant in that it presents an alternative perspective of support personnel.

        기업의 공식·비공식 학습과 구성원 직업기초능력

        본 연구에서는 기업의 공식, 비공식 학습이 구성원의 직업기초능력 개발에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 비공식 학습은 작업장과 일상생활 두 영역으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 직업기초능력인 독해력에 대해 일생 생활에서의 비공식 학습만이 의미있는 영향을 미쳤다. 문서이해력에 대해서는 공식, 비공식 학습 모두가 의미있는 영향을 미쳤다. 수리력은 비공식 학습 중 일생 생활 영역만이 의미있는 영향을 미쳤다. 문제해결력은 공식 학습, 일상생활의 비공식 학습이 의미있는 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 공식 교육, 즉 학력은 4가지 직업기초능력 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 이상의 연구를 통해 직업기초능력 향상에 기업의 공식 학습의 역할이 상대적으로 미흡하다는 것을 밝혔다. 이를 근거로 향후 기업에서도 구성원의 직업기초능력을 개발하는 다양한 방법을 강구할 필요가 있음을 제시하였다. This study mainly purported to examine the effect of formal and informal learning in organization on employee’s basic skill which contains prose literacy, document literacy, numeracy, and problem solving. In this study, informal learning is divided into two types, workplace and non-workplace, according to learning place. The results of this research are summarized as follows; First, only informal learning in non-workplace has effect on employee’s prose literacy. All formal and informal learning are associated with document literacy. Numeracy is related with only informal learning in non-workplace. Problem solving skill is influenced by formal learning and informal learning in non-workplace. Second, formal education by national institution has effect on all kinds of basic skill. This result is consistent with previous researches. Based on these analyses, I come to the conclusion that it is not sufficient for organization to improve employee’s basic skill through formal learning. Based on the resources based view of firm and the transaction cost theory, there is little incentive for organization to invest in the improvement of employee’s basic skill, because basic skill is not directly connected with firm's strategies and firm specific assets. But radical change in business environment is demanding the high level of employee’s basic skill in organization. In this conflicting situation, organization should develop methods to not only improve employee's basic skill but also reduce the expense. I would like to introduce one measure like alliance with other organization in same industry in performing education and learning function. In employees’ sides, they should take the initiative in developing basic skill through informal learning in non-workplace. In this study, informal learning in non-workplace is very important method to improve employee's basic skill. Regardless of formal and informal learning in workplace, employees should improve basic skill through various methods such as the observation of other’s behavior and the reflection of own experience. In conclusion, to improve employees’ basic skill, organizations should take measures that should lessen a burden for them and support employees to involve themselves in informal learning in non-workplace.

        초등학생의 기초학력부진에 대한 초등교사의 인식 및 지원 요구

        연구목적: 본 연구는 초등학교 교사들이 기초학력부진(한글 미해득)학생의 선별 및 지도 경험유무에 따른 인식 및 지원 필요성을 분석하여 차후 기초학력부진 학생 지원 프로그램 개발의 기초 자료와 함의를 제공하기 위해 이루어졌다. 연구방법: 설문조사는 전국의 초등학교 교사 134명을 대상으로 실시하여 수합된 총 99부의 설문지를 SPSS 26.0 프로그램으로 문항에 따라 빈도분석 및 기술통계를 사용하여 결과를 산출하였다. 선별 및 지도 경험 유무에 따른 인식 및 지원 필요성 빈도 차이를 분석하기 위해 카이제곱검정을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 기초학력부진 학생에 대한 인식 및 필요성에 대해 살펴본 결과, 초등교사는 기초학력부진 학생의 어려움을 인식하고 있으며 법적 제도적 지원 및 치료적 지원의 필요성을 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 선별 경험 및 지도 경 험 유무에 따라 기초학력부진 학생에 대한 치료적 지원, 선별 검사 도구 사용에 대한 인식 및 필요성에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 선별 및 지도 경험이 있는 교사들이 기초학력부진 학생에 대한 인식이 높고 지원 필요성을 더 강하게 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구는 기초학력부진 학생 지원 프로그램 개발의 기초자료와 함의를 제공하기 위해 선별 및 지도 경험 유무에 따른 초등교사의 인식 및 필요성의 차이가 있는지 심도 있게 알아보는데 그 의의가 있다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the perceptions and needs for support of teachers who had experiences of screening, teaching experiences of students with low basic academic skills. Method: 134 teachers participated in the survey, and 99 responses were used for the analysis in this study. The survey asked about teachers’ overall perceptions and needs for supports according to their screening and teaching experiences of students with low basic academic skills. Results: As the results of examining the perception and necessity of students with low basic academic skills, it was found that elementary school teachers recognized the difficulties of students with low basic academic skills and felt the needs for legal and institutional supports and therapeutic supports. In addition, it was found that there were differences in therapeutic supports for students with low basic academic skills and perceptions and necessity of using screening tools according to the presence or absence of screening experiences and teaching experiences. It was found that the teachers with screening and teaching experiences had a higher perceptions of students with low basic academic skills and felt the needs for support more strongly. Conclusion: This study is meaningful in examining in-depth whether there is a difference in the perception and necessity of elementary school teachers according to screening and teaching experiences of students with low basic academic skills to provide basic data and implications for the development of basic education support programs.

        기초학력 보장을 위한 초등 통합지원 운영 사례 연구

        This study analyzed the integrated support operation for ensuring basic academic skills in elementary schools, using three schools in Seoul and one office of education under a regional office of education as cases. The analysis revealed that the diagnosis of integrated support for basic academic skills in elementary schools appeared in both rigid and flexible forms. Next, in terms of support methods for integrated support, the support within schools was categorized into fragmented support, which proceeds without interrelation between programs, and integrated support, which is relevantly supported. Outside of schools, professional linkage was generally not well established, except in one school. When analyzing cases of students targeted for basic academic skill support, those who received integrated support both inside and outside of school showed positive effects in improving their basic academic skills. Lastly, the analysis of the current state of integrated support operating system in schools identified the issue of work discontinuity among teachers as a barrier to integration. Therefore, it was concluded that a focal point is needed in schools to smoothly conduct related tasks for integrated support of basic academic skills. The study concluded with implications, limitations, and suggestions for integrated support to ensure basic academic skills in elementary education.

        Effect of Perceptual Exercise Program on Basic Motor Skills in a Child with Intellectual Disability: Single Subject Research Design

        [OBJECTIVES] The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of perceptual exercise program on basic motor skills in a child with intellectual disability. [METHODS] One child with intellectual disability was participated in this study. Perceptual exercise program was performed 60 minutes per session, twice a week for 32 weeks. To evaluate the basic motor skills of the subject pre and post the exercise, subject was measured in six areas of operational skills including throwing, catching, kicking, hitting, bouncing, and rolling; two areas of movement skills including balance beam, walking backward; and two areas of stabilization skills including standing with one leg and escaping. [RESULTS] The subject who participated in this study gained 60% throwing, 60% catching, 80% kicking, 60% hitting, 80% bouncing, and 60% rolling was increased respectively in the operational skills and 80% balance beam, 100% walking backward in the movement skills, and 80% standing with one leg, 100% escaping in the stabilization skills. [CONCLUSIONS] Those results show that perceptual exercise program was positive influence on operational skills, movement skills and stabilization skills in a child with intellectual disability.

        특성화고등학교 기계계열 학과 직업기초능력 과정 개발을 위한 교육 요구 분석 - 충남 소재 기업 규모별 접근

        The purpose of this study was conducting training needs analysis to suggest educational curriculum for basic job skill in specialized high school, analysing level of basic job skill for workers who graduated from specialized high school, and deciding the training needs priority of the basic job skill in the field of mechanic. To accomplish the purpose of the research, conducted the literature review about NCS, basic job skill, and training needs analysis. To confirm industrial needs about basic job skill of specialized high school graduates in Chungnam based on the theoretical examination, the survey has been distributed to supervisors and personnel managers of machinery business where graduates of specialized high school in Chungnam are working in, and 344 has been collected. The collected surveys were analysed using t-test, Borich’s Needs Analysis and The Locus for Focus Analysis. Through these analysis, after confirming the gaps of the recognized present basic job skill and importances, the order of priority of training needs about specialized high school graduates’ basic job skill has been deducted. The following are the results. First, Large companies had shown the statistically meaningful difference between importance and present level for all 34 subordinate fields of basic job skill excluding fundamental calculation skill, fundamental statistical skill, graphical analysis skill. Small and medium-sized companies had shown the statistically meaningful difference for all 34 subordinate fields of basic job skill. Second, 5 fields including document making skill, listening skill, language skill, career development skill, time management skill were appeared as the highest priority in common. According to company size, In large companies, 12 fields including document making skill, listening skill, language skill, thinking skill, problem solving skill, self development skill, career development skill, time management skill, material resource management skill, teamwork skill, computer application skill were confirmed as the highest priority, and basic foreign language skill, conflict management skill, information processing skill, technology understanding skill were indicated as secondary priority. In small and medium-sized companies, 9 fields including document making skill, listening skill, language skill, self development skill, time management skill, conflict management skill, technology application skill, task understanding skill, community ethic skill were appeared as the highest priority, and thinking skill has appeared as secondary priority. 본 연구는 특성화고등학교의 직업기초능력 교육과정 개발을 위한 교육요구분석으로 기업분야 중 기계계열 영역의 기업체 근로자들을 중심으로 직업기초능력에 대한 현재수준과 중요도를 파악하고, 교육우선순위를 결정하기 위한 연구이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 국가직무능력표준(NCS), 직업기초능력, 요구분석에 대한 이론적 고찰을 실시하였다. 이를 토대로 충남 소재 특성화고등학교 졸업생이 근무하고 있는 기계분야 산업체를 위주로 산업체의 관리자와 인사담당자를 대상으로 설문을 배포하였으며, 총 344부를 수집하였다. 수집된 설문지는 t-검정, Borich 요구도 분석, The Locus for Focus 모델을 활용하여 분석하였으며, 이를 통해 산업체에서 인식하고 있는 특성화고등학교 졸업생의 직업기초능력에 대한 중요도와 현재수준을 확인하고 교육요구 우선순위를 도출하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대기업에서는 직업기초능력 34개 하위영역 중 기초연산능력, 기초통계능력, 도표분석을 제외한 31개 영역에서, 중소기업에서는 모든 직업기초능력 34개 하위영역에서 중요도와 현재수준 간에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 존재하였다. 둘째, 대기업과 중소기업에서 공통적으로 문서작성능력, 경청능력, 언어구사력, 경력개발능력, 시간관리능력의 교육요구가 최우선순위에 속하는 것으로 나타났다. 기업규모별로 구분하여 살펴보면, 대기업에서는 문서작성능력, 경청능력, 언어구사력, 사고력, 문제처리능력, 자기개발능력, 경력개발능력, 시간관리능력, 물적자원관리능력, 팀웍능력, 컴퓨터활용능력, 근로윤리 등 12개 항목이 최우선순위로 도출되었다. 중소기업에서는 문서작성능력, 경청능력, 언어구사력, 자기개발능력, 시간관리능력, 갈등관리능력 기술적용능력, 업무이해능력, 공동체윤리 등 9개 항목이 최우선순위로 도출되었다.
