        족과관절염좌 환자에 대한 동씨침법과 일반침법의 효과에 대한 비교 연구

        Objective: The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of Dong-si acupuncture therapy and General acupuncture therapy for the patients with acute ankle sprain. Methods : This study has been carried out for 60 cases of ankle sprain patients who have visited Dong-Seo Oriental medical Hospital from May 1, 2002 to September 30, 2002. We have treated 30 cases of them by Dong-si acupuncture therapy and the other 30 cases by General acupuncture therapy. And we have compared those two group. Results : 1. There was no significant difference at the treatment period and the number of treatment times in comparing two groups. 2. The number of treatment times for good effect is that : Dong-si took $1.57{\pm}0.85$ times and General acupuncture therapy took $2.15{\pm}0.96$ times. And we have found that the effect of Dong-si acupuncture therapy is faster than the other.

      • 緯度와 地形에 따른 溫帶中部 溪谷植生의 種多樣性 및 群集構造에 關한 硏究

        This study was Carried out to analyse species composition, species diversity and structure and variation trends of vegetation, of Mt. Odae, Mt. Sobaek, and Mt. Juwang following various latitudes and topographies which were in middle temperate zone in Korea. Obtained results are as follows : 1. As a result of the simple discriminant analysis, soil texture Showed the highest high percent contribution of each environmental factor to the discriminant of Studred area. And Mt. Odae showed high content of sand while Mt. Juwang Showed silt. 2. Mean stem density showed highest value in Mt. Juwang and mean D. B. H. was Mt. Odae, and on phisiographic locations showd high values of stem density and mean D. B. H in slow slope area, nothern aspect area, and high elevation area, in order. 3. Species that showed the highest importance value in each canopy-subtree-shrub layer in study area were Quercus mongolica-Acer pseudo-sieboldianum-Lindera obtusiloba were in Mt. Odae, Betula platyphylla var. japonica-Styrax obassia-Deutzia parviflora were in Mt. Sobaek, and Pinus densiflora-Acer pseudo-sieboldianum-Lindera obrusiloba were in Mt. Juwang. 4. Species that showed the highest importance value in each canopy-subtree-shrub layer on the physiographic location were Quercus mongolica-Acer pseudo-sieboldianum-Lindera obtusiloba in high elevation and southern aspect, Carpinus laxiflora-Acer pseudo-sieboldianum-Lindera obtusiloba in high elevation and southern aspect, Carpinus laxiflora-Acer pseudo-sieboldianum-Lindera obtusiloba in nothern slope, Carpinus laxiflora-Styrax obassia-Lindera obtusiloba in low elevation, and Betula platyphylla var. japonica-Styrax obassia-Deutzia parviflora in high elevation. 5. According to decrease of latitudes with going down from Mt. Odae to Mt. Juwang, the more Number of species and individuals were increased, and the deversity index was the highest value in Mt. Sobaek, the evenness was in southern aspect, and the dominance was in high elevation. 6. As a result of Cluster analysis, the study area were divided into 4 groups, Carpinus laxiflora community, Styurax obassia community, Deutzia parviflora community, and Quercus mongolica community. 7. As a result of COA analysis, communities of the study area were divided into Betula platyphylla var. japonica community, Deutzia parviflora community, Quercus mongolica-Acer pseudo-sieboldianum community, and species were divided into 4 groups as the major, the disturbed, the waterside, and the fertile. 8. As results of the simple discriminant analysis and the linear regression, sand and silt content, slope aspect, total nitrogen content, and elevation among environmental factors had high percent contribution to classification and ordination of vegetation communities of the study area. 9. Major tree species had the unstable layer structure due to lower importance values of canopies and subtrees than those of shrubs, and Pinus laxiflora and Betula platyphylla var. japonica were on the decline phase due to very low dominance and absence of next generation. while, Styrax obassia and Acer pseudo-sieboldianum were sustanable layer structure as being distributed on all the crown layer.

      • P-Aminophenyl 4-Amino-4-Deoxy-β-D-Galactopyranoside의 합성

        Methyl 4-azido-2, 3, 6-tri-O-benzoyl-4-deoxy- α-D-galacto pyranoside (2)로 부터 p-nitrophenyl 4-azido-2, 3, 6-tri-O-benzoyl-4-deoxy- β-D-galactopyranoside (5)가 세 단계를 거쳐서 합성되었다. 4-azido-2, 3, 6-tri-D-benzoyl-1-Chloro-1, 4-dideoxy- α-D-galactopyranose (4)는 chloroform-nitromethane (2 = 1, V/V) 용액에서 p-nitrophenyl. Ag₂CO₃와 함께 Konig-Knorr 반응을 하여 화합물 5를 43%수율로 주었다. 또한 p-nitrophenyl 4-azido-4-deoxy- β-D-galacto pyranoside (6)은 methanol 용액중에서 NiCl₂·6H₂O/NaBH₄에 의해 쉽게 환원되어 p-aminophenyl 4-amino-4-deoxy- β-D-galactopyranoside (1)을 만든다. 화합물 1은 D-galactose 변형효소들의 작용메카니즘 연구에 중요한 가치가 예견되는 물질이다. p-Nitrophenyl 4-azido-4-deoxy-2,3,6-tri-O-benzoyl- β-D-galactopyranoside has been synthesized from methyl 4-azido-4-deoxy-2,3,6-tri-O-benzoyl- α-D-galactopyranoside via three steps; Konig-Knorr reaction on 4-azido-2,3,6-tri-O-benzoyl-1-chloro-1,4-dideoxy- α-D-galactopyranose with p-nitrophenyl in the presence of Ag₂CO₃, chloroform and nitromethane (2:1, v/v) produced the above mentioned compound (in 43% yield). p-Nitrophenyl 4-azido-4-deoxy- β-D-galactopyranoside was reduced in the presence of NiCl₂·6H₂O/NaBH₄in methanol to give p-aminophenyl 4-amino-4-deoxy- β-D-galactopyranoside which is known to be a useful compound for the studies of the action mechanism of D-galactose modifying enzymes.

        This paper is concerned with the dynamic characteristics of buildings, especially with the measurement of the natural frequencies(natural periods). The vibration measurement methods employed for field measurement and presents reliable methods of accessing natural period from ambient vibration tests. Data from measurement on 16 reinforced concrete buildings in Seoul City and Seoul national university of technology are given. 16 Low-rise Reinforced concrete buildings are measured for ambient vibration to obtain the natural frequency. The natural periods obtained by ambient vibration measurements are compared with those of forecast model suggested by standards and foreign researchers.

      • 한국 여성스포츠 활성화를 위한 연구

        Historically women have been discriminated not only in sports but also in another fields of social life according to the social cultural backgrounds and customes. This sex discrimination is due to the lack of the opportunity to participate sports, the ideological prejudice of male diversionism and the systematic inequality uttered in the nomological, institutional, environmental aspects of society. And the social conception on male adventage and female dependence enforces the present discrimination in the women sports. Theoletically, discussion on women sports has been focused on the dogma that man governs woman in the sense of sex inequility in sports, limitation of female opportunity in sports, inequility of conservative system and the relative deprival of employment opportunity from the point of liberal, marxist, radical, socialist view. The sex discrimination is due to the social, cultural circumstance of a specific society and prejudicial cultural tradition. The cultural tradition form the idea that woman can play the role only through the family and companion because of her biological and depentent character and enforce such a sex role and social training. The social-role prejudice which began in the family and companion would be enforced and magnified through the discrimitive management of the curriculum and phisical education program at school. The sex discrimination has such a tendency of aggravation and perpetuity because of male-prejudicial news and scarcity of role-model, which have been discussed in many researches. But woman's sports were advanced quite much in accordance with feminism movements and the change of social/cultural definition on woman. In spite of all of these, there still appears to be some prejudice in the psyological, social-psychological, institutional realms. To sum up the factors which prevent woman's sports activate, Firstly, negative cognition of common people on woman's sports. Secondly, the prejudice that women are not adquite for sports activity. Thirdly, women themselves have the prejudice that sports activity makes their body manly. And to sum up the important theoletical factors concerned with the woman's sports activation, Firstly, woman has psychologically the stronger emotional intentionality than man. Secondly, woman has the weaker motivation for sports psychologically, which is due to her parents' indifference and the incorrect belief of 'womanlikehood' or 'out to be womanlike' and so on. Thirdly, because woman's participating the sports activity is influenced by intermediate group like family, the opportunity-situation became the important variable. Some conclusion for activation of Women's Sports Activation acquired in the study is as shown in the followings. Firstly, We must change the ineffective sports activities in the whole society, including the system, which places the importance in the examination at the existing school, and the physical education program which lays stress on the sudents to comply with the characteristics and interests of women in the scope of life-time sports, and the education on the leader who controls these programs effectively is urgent. Secondly,Mass Media must be interested in the sports, physical education activities of women, and show the positiveness on the program related to the women's own improvement and culture and on the public-information related to the concrete practical method.

      • Ocular MALT Lymphoma : Report of Two Cases

        Lymphoma arising in mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue(MALT) is extranodal marginal zone lymphoma displaying a proliferation of follicle marginal zone-type cells(centrocyte-like cells or monocytoid B-cells), often with surrounding reactive germinal centers and lympoepithelial lesions. This typically expresses pan-B-cell markers and monotypic immunoglobulin but not CD5 or CD10. Ocular MALT consists of the lacrimal gland, lcular soft tissue, orbit, conjunctiva and cornea. Lymphoma arising in thses sites is of very rare occurrence in up to 1.5% of all patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Herein we report two cases of ocular MALT lymphoma which was very rare in the dermatologic field. Case 1, 73-year-old man, developed the right upper conjunctival swelling measuring about 2.0×2.5cm for about 1 year. Histologically, the excised lesion showed follicular centers and infiltration of centrocyte-like cells of B-cell lineage in the stroma but no lymphoepithelial lesions, consistent with low-grade B-cell lymphoma. Case 2, a 66-year-old female, had a rapid course of about 1.2×1.0cm-sized, soft, wellow mass arising from lacrimal gland of the right upper eyelid for about 1 month. Hostologically, the lesion showed diffuse patterend features admixed with centrocyte-like cells and large cells such as centroblast, compatible with high-grade lymphoma. Case 2 received combined chemotherapy of m-BACOD, with a somewhat improvement.

      • 머리염색이 인체에 미치는 영향

        일상생활에서 모발염색은 흔히 접할 수 있는 미용의 한 종류로 특히 젊은층을 중심으로 폭발적으로 유행하고 있다. 염색을 위항 사용하는 약제는 표백제와 발색제 등 각종 화학약품이 사용되고 있으나 이로 인한 건강장해에 대한 연구는 그리 많지 않다. 저자들은 염색이 인체의 모발건강에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 염색과 관련된 주관적 증상과 모발의 변화에 대한 실험적 연구를 시행하였다. 동국대학교 경주 캠퍼스 재학생 80명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하여 염색 유 ·무 및 염색 후에 경험한 증상에 대해 설문 조사하였고, 의과대학 재학생 46명을 대상으로 피부 반응 테스트를 실시하였다. 또한 염색 전후의 모발 탄성도를 측정하였고 모발의 상태를 파악하기 위해 전자 현미경검사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 결과 염색 전에 비하여 염색 후 안구혼탁, 안구건조, 시력저하, 발진 및 접촉성 피부염, 모발손상, 모근손상 등의 증상을 더 많이 경험한다고 호소하였다(p<0.05). 모발손상과 모근손상은 헤어드라이어 사용 빈도에 따라 증가하는 것으로 조사되었다(p<0.05). 피부반응검사에서 가려움증이 가장 많은 증상이었으며 이는 여성보다는 남성에서 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 염색 전후의 모발장력은 염색 전 134.5±10.37g, 염색 128.0±30.69g, 염색 이틀 후 112.5±19.69g으로 나타났다. 염색 전후의 모발의 전자현미경 케라틴 층이 현저히 감소하고 모발이 가늘어지는 차이를 보였다. 염색은 모발손상, 모발 케라틴 손상 및 모근 손상, 발진 및 접촉성 피부반응, 안구혼탁, 안구건조, 시력 저하를 유발한다. 따라서 염색약으로 인한 손상에 대한 주의와 예방이 필요하다고 생각한다. 예방대책으로 염색 전 피부테스트를 통한 적합성 여부를 판단하는 것이 필요하며 가급적 염색을 피하는 것이 좋을 것이다. 염색약에 발암물질이 포함되어있다는 보고도 있어 염색 제조사의 철저한 실험과 염색 물질의 선별이 염색으로 인한 부작용을 최소화하는데 중요한 역할을 할 것이다. Hair coloring has became one of the most popular cosmetic activities to younger generations during last decade. However, there are few studies on the health effect of widespread use of chemical dyes. This study was conducted to study the effects of hair coloring dye on hair and other systems. We conducted a questionnaire survey of 80 persons in Kyongju campus, Dongguk University. We have done open patch skin test on 46 medical students. We also conducted scanning electron microscopy to examine the hair strength and structure before and after hair coloring process. Injury of hair and hair bulb, contact dermatitis, turbid eyes, xerophthalmia, and poor visual acuity were the main symptoms complained after hair coloring (p<0.05). Injury of hair and hair bulb were increased by frequency of hair-dryer use(p<0.05). In open patch test, pruritus was complanined by more than half of the subjects. Mean strength of hairs before and after hair coloring was as follows; 134.5 (SD 10.37)g before hair coloring, 128.0 (SD 30.69)g immediately after hair coloring, and 112.5 (SD 19.69)g after two days. The scanning electron microscopic findings of hair surface before and after hair coloring showed decreased keratin layer and thinning of the hair. Hair coloring induces injury to hair, its keratin layer, and hair bulb as well as contact dermatitis, turbid eyes, xerophthalmia, and poor visual acuity. Therefore, we think that precaution is needed in use of hair coloring dye. To prevent complications induced by hair coloring dye, it is necessary, especially to those with allergy or skin disorders, to perform skin test before action and avoid hair coloring whenever possible. Longterm health effects of hairdye should be studied and manufacturing companies should try to minimize complications induced by hair coloring dye.
