The purpose of this study was t investigate isokinetic functional strength evaluation of shoulder rotational strength in korean professional baseball pictchers. Healthy professional elite pitchers(8 males) participated in this study. In order to mearsure the isokinetic peak torque, ER/IR ratio, PK%BW ratio, total work, peak torque acceleration energy, mean power, endurance ratio, we examined the both upper extremities of subjects at the angular velocity 60。/sec, 120。/sec, 180。/sec. The major results are as follows ; 1. There was meaningful statistical difference(P<.05, P<.01) between dominant side and non-dominant side in peak torque of the internal shoulder rotators at 120。/sec, 180。/sec speed. 2. There was meaningful statistical difference(P<.05), between dominant side and non-dominant side in peak torque % body weight of the internal shoulder rotators at 120。/sec speed. 3. There was meaningful statistical difference(P<.01, P<.05) between dominant side and non-dominant side in total work of the internal and external shoulder rotators at 180。/sec speed. 4. There was meaningful statistical difference(P<.01) between dominant side and non-dominant side in mean power of the internal shoulder rotators at 180。/sec speed.

법랑아세포종에서의 p53 및 MIB-1 발현 : 임상 및 병리학적 요인들간의 연관성 Correlation Between Clincopathologic Parameters

Thirty five patinets' paraffin embedded biops block , which was previously diagnosed ameloblastoma and obtained from oral and maxillofacial surgery dept. of pusan paik hospital and OMS dept of collage dentistry, pusan national university hospital, from January 1994 to march 1999, were performed immunohistochemistry with p-53 and MIB-1. On investigating the expression, correlation between clinical and histologic factor and correlation between prognosis and moleculopathologic property were examined. And we obtained the following results; 1. Age over forty, recurrence rate was 58.5%. 91.4% of the tumor was developed on mandibule, recurrence rate of maxilla area tumor was 66.7% On radiologic and histologic feature, multilocular and follicular type has high recurrence rate but no significance statistical difference was found 2. Expression of p-53 was 25.7%, When underage of forty. location on mandibule, multilocular and plexiform type, the expression of p-53 was somewhat higher and recurred cases of tumor, expression rate was 12.5%. 3. MIB-1 expression rate was 77.1%. When location on mandibule, unilocular, plexiform type tumor and previously recurred case, MIB-1 expression was 87.5% which was somewhat higher than no recurrence case of 74.1%. 4. 33.3.% of positive on MIB-1 have expression of p-53 and all p-53 positive case express MIB-1 positive. All p-53 positive case have high cell proliferation rate. From this result, age and location have closely related with the prognosis of tumor, histologic feature and MIB-1 expression has related with the prognosis of tumor. But p-53 has highly expressed on cell proliferation area, not closely related with the prognosis of tumor.

The kinetics of the complex formation have been studied for the diethylenetriamine (dien) complexes of [PtCl₄]^(2-) in aqueous solution. [PtCl₄]^(2-) reacts with diethylenetriamine at a measurable rate with the conventional method and the rate equation for the reaction is expressed d [Pt(dien)Cl+] /dt= {k₁, [H+]+ k₂ [H+]^(-1)] [dien] [PtCl^(2-)_(4)}. A mechanism involving preliminary association of diethylenetriamine with [PtCl₄]^(2-) is proposed.

Activation energy has different value according to cement, admixture and water-cement ratio. Also the relation of age-temperature is as non-linear as activation energy value is large. Therefore to make accurate explanation for the effect of temperature on concrete strength development properties, it is necessary for activation energy value to explain in the maturity function. This study compares and estimates equivalent age used activation energy value that obtained by this experiment and Freiesleben activation energy value with compressive strength of concrete. As the result of this study, activation energy value obtained by this study has more accurate explanation temperature's influence about concrete strength development than Freiesleben activation energy value.

This research is focused on the enhancement of capabilities for 2D data representation to the IFC (Industry Foundation This research is focused on the enhancement of capabilities for 2D data representation to the IFC (Industry Foundation of IFC is that it is impossible to represent 2D elements, essential for the presentation of drawing elements. On top of that, the drawing information in IFC format can not be exchanged among the international standard complied formats such as KOSDIC, SCADEC, and STEP-CDS which are based on STEP AP202 subset. The main purpose of this research is to enhance the existing capability of IFC to represent 2D drawing elements. To achieve this goal, the presentation resources, based on ISO 10303-46 and ISO 10303-202, are annexed to the resource layer of IFC2.X. For the representation of 2D drawings, a Layer entity, Curve_styles entity, Text entity, Symbol entity, Hatch entity, Bezier curve entity, Dimension entity have been extended to the IFC2.X.

After measuring, comparing, and analyzing the backstroke kick start and the backstroke dolphin kick start 25m of the Korean excellent backstroke 10 swimers from November 4th 1989 to November 15th 1989, the conclusions of measuring and comparing the differences between dolphin kick 3-5-7-9-and-11 times and records are as follows: 1. According to the records and observations of start by the dolphin kick frequency of 10 backstroke swimers, the best records were produced from 5 swimers when doing start by 7 times of dolphin kick, 3 swiners were from 5 tims of dolphin kick, and 2 swimers were from 9 frequencies of dolphin kick. Therefore this suggests that 7 times in dolphin kick of the Korea backstroke men' swimers be the most profitable. 2. By comparing the dolphin kick start and backsroke kick start, dolphin kick as in figure 3 was mean 14"15, and backstroke kick start was 14"52. The dolphin kick start was faster .57 seconds than the backstroke kick start. 3. According to the conclusions of observing the swimers who do well dolphin kick start, swimers should have good back flexibility if they want to do well dolphin kick start, whereas the swimers with insufficient dolphin kick start did not have back flexibility.

두경부 편평상피암에서의 MIB-1, p53, bcl-2와 apoptosis의 발현 및 상호 연관성

Objective : Squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck represents approximately 2.0∼4.0% of all malignant tumors, with an etiology closely associated with smoking, drinking and various genetic alterations. The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation of MIB-1, p53, bcl-2 and apoptosis according to degree of differentitation of squamous cell carcinoma. Methods and Material : forty-eight cases of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck were selected for this study. MIB-1, p53, bc1-2 expression rate were studied by iromunogistochemical staining and the number of apoptosis observed by TUNEL method. Results : The expressioins of MIB-1, p53, bcl-2 and apoptosis were found in 56.3%, 50.0%, 14.6%, 85.4%, of 48 cases of squamous cell carcinoma, respectively. The expression of MIB-1, p53 and apoptosis were more higher in poorly differentiated cases than well differentiated cases. MIB-1 expression was related with p53 mutation (p<0.05) and apoptosis rate(p<0.05). Conclusion : From these results. the expressions of MIB-1, bcl-2 and apoptosis were related with degree of differentiation of squamous cell carcinoma and correlation among these parameters.

포도씨의 지방질 조성과 이화학적 특성

포도씨의 조지방질 함량을 분석한 결과 조지방질 함량은 평균 28.6%이었고, Steuben 품종이 32.0%로 가장 높았다. 지방산 조성은 리놀레인산 70.75%, 올레산 18.48%, 스테아르산 2.01%, 팔미트산 8.45%로 구성되어 있었으며 Jingyu 품종에서 스테아르산이 적었고, Fugiminori 품종은 올레산이 많았다. 중성지방질의 평균함량은 87.25%, 당지방질은 4.68%, 인지방질은 8.06%로 구성되었다. 조단백질 평균함량은 11.2%로 품종간의 차이를 나타냈으며, Neo muscat이 15.7%로 가장 높은 함량을 나타냈다. 총당은 2.35∼5.63㎍/㎎이었고 환원당 평균함량은 3.20㎍/㎎을 나타냈다. 포도씨 조지방질의 평균 검화가는 186.3㎎·KOH/g·oil이었고 Kyoho 품종이 230으로 가장 높았다. 포도씨 기름의 항산화력이 참깨보다 우수하여 DPPH 환원 능력은 평균 27%가 높았다. 그러나 180℃로 가열한 후의 포도씨와 참깨씨 조지방질들은 비슷한 산패도를 나타냈다. The possibility of grape seeds as industrial resources was tested by analyzing various chemical properties of their oils from seven different species. The range of crude oil content of the grape seeds was 26.0-32.0%, showing the highest content in Steuden. Mean individual fatty acid contents in the grape seeds were lioleic (70.75%), oleic (18.48%), stearic (2.01%), and palmitic (8.45%) acids. Stearic acid was low in Jingyu, and high oleic acid was found in Fugiminori, compared with other grape strains. Total lipids were consisted of nutral lipid (87.25%), glycolipid (4.68%), and phospholipid (8.06%). Content of crude proteins was approximatery 11.2% with some variation between strains. Total sugar content was 2.35∼5.63㎍/㎎ with reducing sugar 3.20㎍/㎎. Mean saponification value of crude oils was 186.3㎎·KOH·oil. Antioxidant activity of grape seed oils was better than that of sesame oil, resulting in the higher activity of reducing DPPH by 27%. Peroxide values, however, were similar between grape seed oils and sesame oil after heat treatment at 180℃.
