        씨름선수에서 체중 감량과 회복기의 Leptin과 PAI-1 변화

        Obesity which is defined as accumulation of excess body fat, is central factor of insulin resistance syndrome. Recently, it is revealed tat adipose tissue is not simply an energy storage organ but it also secretes a variety of molecules which affect the metabolism of the whole body, those are leptin and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1). Therefore, leptin and PAI-1 are increased in the obese state. Leptin regulates energy homeostasis and satiety and PAI-1 regulates fibrinolytic system. For these reasons, elevated levels of leptin and PAI-1 are considered as link factors between obesity and insulin resistance syndrome. However, the exact regulating mechanism for serum levels of leptin and PAI-1 is not fully understood yet. In this study, to evaluate the regulating mechanisms of serum levels of leptin and PAI-1 according to the weight changes, we measured leptin, PAI-1, physical, metabolic, and endocrine parameters during 10 days of weight reduction and 10 days of regain period in 7 young athletes. The mean body weight change was -4.7 kg(5.0%) in the weight reduction period and -2.4 kg(2.5%) in the weight regain period compared to baseline value. Baseline level of leptin in athletes was 1.7±0.66 ng/ml, which was significantly correlated with body weight, BMI, percent body fat, body fat mass, triglyceride, insulin, and PAI-1. Baseline level of PAI-1 in athletes was 16.6±5.26 ng/ml, which was significantly correlated with body weight, BMI, triglyceride, insulin, and leptin. Leptin was decreased to 0.7±0.39(44% of the basaline value) in the weight reduction period, and increased to 1.9±0.64(119% of the baseline value) in the regain period. PAI-1 was decreased to 7.4±2.72(44% of the basaline value) in the weight reduction period, and increased to 22.8±7.33(138% of the baseline value) in the regain period. The changes of leptin during weight reduction period were significantly correlated with the changes of insulin(r=0.890, P<0.01) and triglycerides(r=0.874, P<0.01). The changes of PAI-1 during weight reduction period were significantly correlated with the changes of FFA(r=0.889, P<0.01) and triglycerides(r=0.869, P<0.05). The changes of both leptin and AAI-1 during weight regain period were significantly correlated with the changes of insulin(r=0.755 and 0.849, P<0.05, respectively). In summary, these results suggest that serum levels of leptin and PAI-1 were affected by weight cycling, the percentages of change were more greater than that of weight change, and rebound phenomena were occurred during weight regain period.

        A pentasil zeolite. ZSM-5 was succesfully synthesized at low temperature and atmospheric pressure. The experinments were carried out in four different methods 1, 2 and 3 depending on the concentrations of water, organic template. TPABr (tetrapropy-lammonium bromide) and the presence or absence of seed, the overall molar composition used in this study was 7.83 Na₂O-0.25 Al₂O₃-100SiO₂-xTPABr-yH₂o where x is 1 and 3 mol, and y is 3000mol, 3500mol, and 4000mol. 2³factorial experiments were performed with the results of kinetics studies Na₂O, TPABr and H₂O as main factors, The result showed that the concentration of H₂O is the most important.

        The incidence of coexisting hyperparathyroidism and empty sella syndrome is rare and the etiology and incidence of their coexistence is not known. The association of hyperparathyroidism and the empty sella syndrome may be related to multiple endocrine neoplasia (MEN) syndrome due to a genetic disorder. We experienced a rare case of hyperparathyroidism presenting as acute pancreatitis combined with empty sella. We report here a 37-year old female who manifested epigastric pain because of acute pancreatitis. She had hypercalcemia due to parathyroid adenoma. A pituitary gland was not visible in the sella turcica on MRI scans. On genetic analysis, she did not show a mutation of the MENIN gene. Empty sella is thought to be a coincidental finding with hyperparathyroidism.

        Effects of wind fences on the wind environment around Jang Bogo Antarctic Research Station

        <P>This study investigated the flow characteristics altered by Jang Bogo Antarctic Research Station using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling. The topography and buildings around Jang Bogo Station were constructed with computer-aided-design data in the CFD model domain. We simulated 16 cases with different inflow directions, and compared the flow characteristics with and without Jang Bogo Station for each inflow direction. The wind data recorded by the site's automatic weather station (AWS) were used for comparison. Wind rose analysis showed that the wind speed and direction after the construction of Jang Bogo Station were quite different from those before construction. We also investigated how virtual wind fences would modify the flow patterns, changing the distance of the fence from the station as well as the porosity of the fence. For westerly inflows, when the AWS was downwind of Jang Bogo Station, the decrease in wind speed was maximized (-81% for west-northwesterly). The wind speed reduction was also greater as the distance of the fence was closer to Jang Bogo Station. With the same distance, the fence with medium porosity (25%-33%) maximized the wind speed reduction. These results suggest that the location and material of the wind fence should be selected carefully, or AWS data should be interpreted cautiously, for particular prevailing wind directions.</P>

      • Independent Inheritance between ti gene and y9 gene in soybean

        Leaf chlorophyll-deficient mutants controlled by y9 locus have been observed frequently and are useful in genetic studies in soybean. So far, 19 single recessive gene yellow leaf mutants and one duplicate recessive gene mutant have been described. The y9 type found in T135 is yellow at emergence, becoming greenish-yellow by maturity. Soybean Kunitz trypsin inhibitor protein has been proposed as one of the major antinutritional factor. The absence of Kunitz trypsin inhibitor protein in mature seed is inherited as a recessive allele designated ti. The objective of this research was to confirm independent inheritance between ti gene and y9 gene. The F1 seeds from Gaechuck#1 (Kunitz trypsin inhibitor protein absent, normal leaf type) x C-142 (Kunitz trypsin inhibitor protein present, leaf chlorophyll -deficient) were obtained. F1 seeds obtained were planted in a greenhouse and F1 hybridity was checked on morphological traits. All F2 seeds were planted at field in May 2012. Leaf chlorophyll-deficient trait of F2 individual plants will be recorded at growth stage from field. Presence and absence of Kunitz trypsin inhibitor protein will be checked by SDS-PAGE based on each F₂single plant. Chi-square analysis was used to test the goodness-of-fit of observed ratios with expected ratios for independent assortment or linkage.

        Effects of Heating Rate on Material Properties of Anisotropic Conductive Film (ACF) and Thermal Cycling Reliability of ACF Flip Chip Assembly

        <P>In this paper, the effects of heating rate during anisotropic conductive film (ACF) curing processes on ACF material properties such as thermomechanical and rheological properties were investigated. It was found that as the heating rate increased, the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of the ACF increased, and the storage modulus and glass transition temperature (<I>T</I> <I>g</I>) of the ACF decreased. Variation of the ACF material properties are attributed to cross-linking density, which is thought to be related with the ACF density. In addition, as the heating rate increased, the minimum viscosity of the ACF decreased and the curing onset temperature increased during the curing process. The similar phenomenon was also found in <I>in-situ</I> contact resistance measurement. As the heating rate increased, contact resistance establishing temperature increased and the contact resistances of the ACF flip chip assemblies decreased. The decrease in contact resistance was due to larger conductive particle deformation which leads to larger electrical contact area. The effect of the heating rate of ACFs on thermal cycling (T/C) reliability of flip chip assemblies was also investigated. As the heating rate increased, the contact resistances of the ACF flip chip assembly rapidly increased during the T/C test. The T/C reliability test result was analyzed by two terms of shear strain and conductive particle deformation. Reduced gap of joints due to reduced ACF viscosity resulted in larger shear strain. Moreover, many cracks were observed at metal-coated layers of conductive particles due to larger deformation.</P>

        Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] proteins are widely used for human and animal feed in the world. Glycinin (11S globulin) and β-conglycinin (7S globulin) account for storage protein from 70% to 80% in soybean seed. 7S globulin protein exhibits poorer nutritional and food processing properties. β-conglycinin is composed of α’, α, and β-subunits. α′-subunit of 7S globulin are main antinutritional factors in soybean seed. The absence of α′-subunit were controlled by single recessive alleles, cgy1. Leaf chlorophyll-deficient mutants controlled by y9 locus have been observed frequently and are useful in genetic studies in soybean.         Effects of Silica Filler and Diluent on Material Properties of Non-Conductive Pastes and Thermal Cycling Reliability of Flip Chip Assembly

        In this paper, thermo-mechanical and rheological properties of NCPs (Non-Conductive Pastes) depending on silica filler contents and diluent contents were investigated. And then, thermal cycling (T/C) reliability of flip chip assembly using selected NCPs was verified. As the silica filler content increased, thermo-mechanical properties of NCPs were changed. The higher the silica filler content was added, glass transition temperature ($T_g$) and storage modulus at room temperature became higher. While, coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) decreased. On the other hand, rheological properties of NCPs were significantly affected by diluent content. As the diluent content increased, viscosity of NCP decreased and thixotropic index increased. However, the addition of diluent deteriorated thermo-mechanical properties such as modulus, CTE, and $T_g$. Based on these results, three candidates of NCPs with various silica filler and diluent contents were selected as adhesives for reliability test of flip chip assemblies. T/C reliability test was performed by measuring changes of NCP bump connection resistance. Results showed that flip chip assembly using NCP with lower CTE and higher modulus exhibited better T/C reliability behavior because of reduced shear strain in NCP adhesive layer.
