        This study seeks to investigate the juveniles' satisfaction on the quality of life in 1he education environment and review wheir position and structure variables in the home surroundings. This findings will propose how much their satisfaction degree is and what effects work in the home environment variables. The purpose of this study is to offer the basic materials about their satisfaction and quality of life in jubeniles. The investigative objectives of this study are the seniors and juniors in S and C high schools and girls' high schools. The way of investigation is through the questionnaire of the Personal Administration, and the period is Dec. l0th - 2Oth in 199e. The 458 in 600 sheets presented was utilized in the resoureces of study. The analysis proposes the frequency number, percentages and averages by way of SAS computer program, examines Oneway ANOVA and Duncan's Multiple Range Test, and practices Person's Appropriate Rate Correlation and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The Summary of findings follows up: 1) The general inclination in juveniles' life shows the high degree of satisfaction, respectively, of 42.4% in the family life, 54.6% in ghe relation between friends, 41.9% in health, 44.8% in ghe family environment, 37.3% in the religion, and does the middle degree of satisfaction of 43.2% in kin-relation, 43.2% in education, 46.1% in leisure, 55.2% in mass media and 58.7% in the neighborhood and community. They show the unsatisfaction of 34.5% in the finanacial safety. 2)* The variables in the family life and the juveniles satisfaction are their school grade, the existence or nonexistence in parents, cultural understandings, nutrition health, life space, value orientation, learning system and group property. * The variables in friend satisfaction are the school grade, the existence or nonexistence in parents, mother employment, house size, father occupation, family members, cultural understanding, value orientation, group property. * The variables in education are ages, father schooling, cultural understanding, nutrition health, life space, value orientation, learning system and group property. * The variables in education are ages, father schooling, cultural understanding, nutrition health, life space, value orientation and group property. * The variables in health are school grade, father occupation, house size, cultural understanding, life spare, learning system, value orientation and group property. * The variables in family environment are school grade, the existence or nonexistence in parents, mother employment house environment, cultural understanding, nutrition health, life space, value orientation, learning system and group property. * The variables in leisure life are ages, school grade, father schooling, mother employment, value orientation and group property. * The variables in religion are father schooling, mother employment, belifef pattern, nutrition health, life space, value orientation, learning and group property. * The variables in mass media are value orientation and group property. * The variable in financial safety are mother schooling, mother employment, house size, father occupation, cultural understanding, nutrition health, life space, value orientation, learning system and group property. The variable in the neighborhood and community are the existence or nonexistence in parents, mother schooling, house size, value orientation, learning system and group property. 3) The correlation areas in the life satisfaction and variables are the value direction, learning system, group property in family life, value orientation, group property in family environment and the group property in the financial safety. 4) The independent variables in family life make much effect on family life, health, religion, mass media and financial safety, and show relatively the group property in the high dgree. The value direction shows the high degree in friend relation, education, family environment, neighbor and community, and learning system does in kin-jrelation. The leisure satisfaction shows the negative correlation according to the school grade.

      • 임상실습 교육을 위한 임상실습지도자제도(preceptorship)의 모형개발

        The purpose of this study was to construct a modified preceptorship model that could be used to improve the quality of clinical practice for student nurses in the Department of Nursing, Wonju College of Medicine, Yonsei University. Through a literature review, three workshops, and analysis of the preceptorship performance of new nurses, three findings were identified. First, based on the literature review and workshops, a modified preceptorship proposal for clinical practice for student nurses in the hospital setting was developed. It contained standard criteria outlining qualifications and rewards for preceptors, training for preceptors, and regulations concerning reciprocal relations among preceptors, head nurses, clinical instructors, and students. Second, results of the analysis of the preceptorship performance of new nurses in the hospital found implications for improvement of self-esteem and self-confidence and, for burden in overloading. Third, based on the literature review, the modified preceptorship proposal, and the results of the analysis of the preceptorship performance of new nurses, a modified preceptorship model was constructed. The modified preceptorship model for clinical practice for student nurses in both hospital and community settings contained standard criteria outlining qualifications and rewards for preceptors, training and education fur preceptors, and regulations concerning reciprocal relations. The standard criteria for qualification as a preceptor should be at least a BSN, at least two years experience, and leadership ability. Rewards for preceptors could be job conditions. For the training and education of preceptors, the difference between hospital and community settings was the content and duration of training. The common training content for preceptors were objectives, orientation to curriculum and preceptorship, clinical practice guidelines, communication channels between health teams and preceptors, nursing process, nursing interventions, and evaluation. In conclusion, the findings suggest a need fur further study on preceptorship when used to improve the quality of clinical practice for student nurses in the both hospital and community settings. The ultimate goal of the research on preceptorship was not only to help student nurses to enhance their ability in clinical practice, but also to maintain the quality of clinical practice in the professional nurses in any clinical setting.

        漢語 語順의 修辭的 表現

        漢語談學上來講.語序的硏究.這是一個?有寶用意義的課題.在此主要探討語序的運用.可熊修辭方面.辯需添比較種定.因此語序不當就會導致徐騎混亂.詰義不淸.但漢語也有談活性的一面.我們源崙漢誇時需要考庶句法因素.意團素.諒知用因素.從語序的運用方面來講.其中認知語用脚素的影辯誌語言的基本功能是傭遲意곪不少語法學者已經注意刻功能춧方面的硏究.陳望遠也提出應重功能(function)'.言談策略(discourse strategies)與諾知心理國素有關.在此栽們探討同義句.我們之所以使用출種句子.是關爲同義句發揮言談功用上的作用, 語言作爲人類最重要的交際그具.傳遷信息的體桃也是一種語用策略.사與心理藺素有關約.人們便用語言是빈於交際的需要,功能的脚度去安排語序倒裝(inversion).這可以說是屬於修辭上的一個層面.也可以證是고求理想表達方式的技巧.也有詰用的功能(progmatic function).定語和狀語在定所修脚的中心詞前.有時語言信老.傳遷的特徵稀語言表達上的要求使定誇和狀語移佐到句爆.往役有較濃厚的强調色彩.漢誇讀론享受到焦點表達的影響.信息焦點通位終句緖.也叫句携焦點(end focus).漢誇的訓裝脚음短雜多樣.全面硏究漢詰詰序的變化.可以更好地指示漢誘詰法的給辯街徵.總之.變式句的使用總是爲了取得一定表達效果'.也可以說是證話者(作者)的言談策略.認知心理的反淡.變式句的誇序變化是談策略約結果.蓚辭的反映.杰此군役刻的詰序的賓終運刷.是爲 信傳違的表達效榮.我們通過功能上的語序訓究能從交際能力.

        증례보고 : 원발성 폐동맥 고혈압 환아에서 발생한 좌측 주기관지 압박

        Eleven year-old boy was scheduled for right encephalo-duro arterial synangiosis (EDAS). He received left EDAS 4 months ago, and there was no problem during the perioperative period. Mild cardiomegaly was suspected in his preoperative chest PA. After intubaton, we couldn`t hear the breathing sound of left chest, and the saturation went down to 95%. There was large opaque hemithorax on emergency chest AP, and on the fiberoptic bronchoscopic examination, left main stem bronchus (LMSB) was observed slit-like appearance. Echocardiography revealed severely dilated right atrium and ventricle. In his chest CT, the LMSB was nearly obliterated. The patient was diagnosed as primary pulmonary hypertension, and received full sedation, controlled ventilation, and NO gas. However, the blood pressure of this patient was not maintained in spite of using high-dose inotropics. He expired two days later and this case warns that suspected mild cardiomegaly might hide more ominous sign of primary pulmonary hypertension. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2007; 53: 104~8)

        Decentralized civil structural control using real-time wireless sensing and embedded computing

        Structural control technologies have attracted great interest from the earthquake engineering community over the last few decades as an effective method of reducing undesired structural responses. Traditional structural control systems employ large quantities of cables to connect structural sensors, actuators, and controllers into one integrated system. To reduce the high-costs associated with labor-intensive installations, wireless communication can serve as an alternative real-time communication link between the nodes of a control system. A prototype wireless structural sensing and control system has been physically implemented and its performance verified in large-scale shake table tests. This paper introduces the design of this prototype system and investigates the feasibility of employing decentralized and partially decentralized control strategies to mitigate the challenge of communication latencies associated with wireless sensor networks. Closed-loop feedback control algorithms are embedded within the wireless sensor prototypes allowing them to serve as controllers in the control system. To validate the embedment of control algorithms, a 3-story half-scale steel structure is employed with magnetorheological (MR) dampers installed on each floor. Both numerical simulation and experimental results show that decentralized control solutions can be very effective in attaining the optimal performance of the wireless control system.

      • Assessing Pesticide Effects on Honeybee Movement Behavior using an In-hive Imaging System

        Food and cash crops in the world naturally depend on honeybees for delivering pollen. In recent years, the occurrence of the honeybee colony collapse disorder (CCD) caused a large number of honeybee populations to disappear. This phenomenon is causing a significant impact on agricultural production. Therefore, this study aims to monitor the behavior of honeybees and establish effective analysis tools to understand the causes of CCD. Honeybee interaction behavior inside the beehives offers important behavioral information. In order to analyze honeybee behavior, each individual honeybee was affixed with waterproof text labels for observation. Using image processing techniques, such as label recognition and tracking, the movement of the honeybee inside the hive are recorded. By using label tags, the honeybee can be labeled by groups, and the trajectories can be used to classify them into different groups. After obtaining the honeybee trajectories, the states and transformation conditions were determined and used to create a finite state machine (FSM) model. The FSM model was used to analyze the trajectories of the honeybee: it was divided into multiple secondary trajectories by different conditions and state transitions. The model could also be used to transform the trajectories into patterns of behavior and were combined into a sequence of behavioral patterns. Using the data obtained, it was found that in-hive and foraging bees have different trajectory and behavioral patterns. It was also found that the behavioral pattern sequences and trajectories can be used to train models using machine learning and deep learning techniques to classify and recognize different groups of honeybees. Experiments were performed using the imaging system to record and analyze long-term observation of honeybee movement behavior after treatment with pesticide in contaminated food. We further demonstrated this technique in assessing the effect of pesticide on the change of movement behaviors of honeybees.

        Novel application of Influenza A virus-inoculated chorioallantoic membrane to characterize a NP-specific monoclonal antibody for immunohistochemistry assaying

        Monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) are widely applied in disease diagnoses. Herein, we report a MAb, WF-4, against Influenza A virus nucleoprotein (NP), its broad response with Influenza A virus, and its application in an immunohistochemistry (IHC) assay. WF-4 was screened by immunofluorescence assay (IFA). The results showed that its reactivity with baculovirus-expressed full-length recombinant NP (rNP) in Western blot (WB), indicating its IHC applicability. Fifteen Influenza A virus (reference subtypes H1 to H15) infected chicken embryonated chorioallantoic membranes (CAM), fixed by formalin, were all detectable in the WF-4-based IHC assay. Also, the reactivity of the IHC test with NP from experimentally inoculated H6N1 and from all recent outbreaks of H5 subtype avian Influenza A virus (AIV) field cases in Taiwan showed positive results. Our data indicate that CAM, a by-product of Influenza A virus preparation, is helpful for Influenza A virus-specific MAb characterization, and that the WF-4 MAb recognizes conserved and linear epitopes of Influenza A virus NP. Therefore, WF-4 is capable of detecting NP antigens via IHC and may be suitable for developing various tests for diagnosis of Influenza A virus and, especially, AIV infection.
