If we are looking for something that can be found anywhere in public places, homes, and and even toilets, we will be able to choose a mirror that can easily reflect us. To satisfy the convenience needs of people, we can automatically introduce various useful information on mirrors that are often used by anyone, or add functions such as measuring human body temperature in line with the recent trend of public health due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The system presented in this paper aims to improve the convenience of users who frequently look in the mirror by displaying visual information on a translucent mirror as well as being able to reflect the image as explained above.

관상동맥 동정맥루 기형은 매우 드문 질환으로 치료가 불필요한 경우가 대부분이나 coronary steal 현상으로 인해 증상이 발생하거나 합병증이 발생한 환자에 대해선 치료를 요한다. 최근에는 시술에 적합한 누공을 가진 선택된 환자군을 대상으로 카테터를 이용한 중재적 시술이 시행되어 수술적 치료와 유사한 결과를 얻고 있다. 저자들은 젊은 남자에서 관상동맥 동정맥루 기형과 동반된 급성 심근 경색증을 진단하여 비 수술적 방법인 카테타 코일 색전술로 성공적 치료 후 증상 및 심근 재관류에 호전을 보인 증례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. We report a case of coronary fistula between the left anterior descending and main pulmonary artery complicating acute non-Q wave myocardial infarction. A 27-year-old man visited emergency department because of severe chest pain lasting two hours. The electrocardiogram showed ST segment elevation in precordial leads V3~6. Cardiac enzymes were as follows;CK-MB:36.44 IU/L T-T:0.489 ng/mL, CPK:542 IU/L, and LDH:475 IU/L. The thallium-201 dipyridamole stress perfusion scan showed perfusion defect and reversed redistribution in the anteroseptal wall. The coronary angiogram revealed coronary artery fistula between the proximal left anterior descending artery and main pulmonary artery without significant stenoses of coronary arteries. The result of ergonovine test was negative. After micro-coil embolization to the coronary fistula, symptoms were improved. Follow-up thallium-201 scan showed normalized blood flow in the left anteroseptal wall.
전류제어형 PWM컨버터를 이용한 동기발전기용 여자시스템에 관한 연구

동기발전기 출력전압은 여자시스템의 계자전류 제어에 의해 일정하게 유지된다. 고주파 PWM 컨버터(전류제어모드 buck컨버더)형태의 여자시스템은 부하변동이 발생하였을 때 동기발전기의 계자전류를 제어하게 된다. 이 논문은 정상상태 및 과도상태에서의 안정화를 개선하기 위하여 여자시스템의 설계 및 실험에 대해 다루었다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험 결과는 제안된 여자시스템이 50kW 동기발전기의 DVR에 의해 응답시간이 개선되었음을 보여주었다. The output voltage of synchronous generator is regulated constantly by field current control in excitation system. High frequency PWM converter (current control mode buck conveter) type excitation system for synchronous generator is able to control exciter current when the load change happened. This paper deals with the design and evaluation of the excitation system for a synchronous generator to improve the steady state and transient stability. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed excitation system is able to improve the response time by the DVR(digital voltage regulator) of 5O[kW] synchronous generator.
정신분열병 환자에서의 한국어판 사회적응 척도의 개발 : 신뢰도 및 타당도 연구

연구목적: 정신분열병 환자의 사회적응 정도를 측정하는데 사용되는 사회적응 척도의 한국어판을 개발하기 위함이다. 방 법: 사회적응 척도를 번역한 후 정신분열병 환자 67명과 정상인 78명을 대상으로 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하였다. 결 과: 자료분석 결과 검사-재검사 신뢰도는 0.85, 검사자간 신뢰도는 0.89, 내적 일치도는 0.87로 높은 수치였다. 변별 타당도를 검증하기 위하여 정신분열병 환자군과 정상 대조군을 비교한 결과 정신분열병 환자군에서 사회적응 정도가 유의하게 낮았다. 구성 타당도를 알아보기 위하여 10개 영역간의 상관관계를 측정한 결과 성적적응 영역을 제외한 모든 영역들에서 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 본 척도의 전반적 평가 영역 결과와 GAF 결과간의 상관성을 통해 간접적으로 검증한 공존 타당도 역시 유의하였다. 결 론: 한국판 사회적응 척도는 우수한 신뢰도와 타당도가 입증되었고 나아가 정신분열병 환자의 사회적응 정도를 평가하는데 유용하게 사용되어질 수 있을 것이다. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to develop the Korean version of the Social Adjustment Scale Ⅱ-Revised Version(KSAS Ⅱ-RV) in the schizophrenics. Methods: KSAS Ⅱ-RV was administered to 67 schizophrenic patients and 78 matched normal controls for examining the reliability and validity. Results: Data analysis showed statistically significant reliabilities and validities of KSAS Ⅱ-RV. The test-retest reliability, inter-rater reliability, and internal consistency for total scores of KSAS Ⅱ-RV were 0.85, 0.89. and 0.87, respectively. Evidence for discriminant validity of KSAS Ⅱ-RV comes from the results that the mean scores of schizophrenic patients were significantly high than those of normal controls. Construct validity was assessed by calculating the 10 inter-subareas correlations of the KSAS Ⅱ-RV, and all except the sexual adjustment area were statistically significant. Significant correlations between the global area scores of KSAS Ⅱ-RV and those of Global Assessment of Functioning Scale lend support for the concurrent validity of this instrument indirectly. Conclusions: KSAS Ⅱ-RV was found to be a valid and reliable instrument which can be used to evaluate the degree of social adjustment in the schizophrenic patients.

Background : In recent years gonorrhoea has been panendemic and remains one of the most common Sexually Transmitted Diseases in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Method : For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria Gonorrhoeae(PPNG), Ive have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results : In 1994, 168 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 109 (64,9% ) were PPNG. Conclustion : Our results suggests that the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is still increasing.
Monitoring of antibiotic resistance in bacteria isolated from laboratory animals

The drug resistance of microorganisms isolated from laboratory animals never treated with antibiotics is being reported consistently, while the number of laboratory animals used in medicine, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, agriculture, nutrition, and environmental and health science has increased rapidly in Korea. Therefore, this study examined the development of antimicrobial resistance in bacteria isolated from laboratory animals bred in Korea. A total of 443 isolates (7 species) containing 5 Sphingomonas paucimobilis, 206 Escherichia coli, 60 Staphylococcus aureus, 15 Staphylococcus epidermidis, 77 Enterococcus faecalis, 27 Citrobacter freundii, 35 Acinetobacter baumannii were collected from the nose, intestine, bronchus and reproductive organs of ICR mice and SD rats. Of these species, Acinetobacter baumannii and Enterococcus faecalis showed significant antimicrobial resistance according to the minimum inhibition concentration (MIC) in E-test. In case of Acinetobacter baumannii, several isolates showed MIC values 16-128 ㎍/mL for cefazolin and cefoxitin, and higher resistance (128-512 ㎍/mL) to nitrofurantoin than that of standard type. Resistance to cefazolin, cefoxitin and nitrofurantoin was detected in 17.14, 20.00, and 8.57% of the Acinetobacter baumannii isolates, respectively. In addition, 44.1% of the Enterococcus faecalis isolates collected from the laboratory animals were resistant to oxacillin concentration of 16-32 ㎍/mL range, while MIC value of standard type was below oxacillin concentration of 6 ㎍/mL. These results suggest that in rodent species of laboratory animals, Acinetobacter baumannii are resistance to cefazolin, cefoxitin and nitrofurantoin, whereas those of Enterococcus faecalis were resistance to oxacillin.

The insecticidal activity of cinnamon essential oils, cinnamon bark, cinnamon technical, cinnamon green leaf oils and their constituents and structurally related compounds against citrus flatid planthopper, Metcalfa pruinosa, was examined using a direct contact application. At 500 mg litre-1 very strong mortality (100%) was observed in cinnamon technical, cinnamon bark, cinnamon green leaf, mortality against flatid planthopper M. pruinosa. The cinnamon oils constituents were identified by GC-MS. The active principles were determined to be hydrocinnamic acid (24 h LC50, 30.66 mg/L), geranic acid (24 h LC50, 31.23 mg/L), cinnamaldehyde (24 h LC50, 32.65 mg/L), hydrocinnamaldehyde (24 h LC50, 39.11 mg/L) and trans-cinnamaldehyede (24 h LC50, 39.54 mg/L) were the most toxic against both nymph and adult of citrus flatid planthopper, M. pruinosa. The moderate activity was observed with cinnamyl acetate, dibutyl pthalate, anethole, α -cyano cinnamic acid, cinnamyl alcohol, methyl cinnamaldehyde, eugenol, 2.4-dihydrocyl cinnamic acid, bornyl acetate (24 h LC50, 53.35- 97.17 mg/L) respectively. The other constituents were showed less or no activity against adult of M. pruinosa. Global efforts to reduce the level of highly toxic synthetic insecticides in the agricultural environment justify further studies on the active cinnamon oils active principles act as potential insecticides for the control of M. pruinosa populations as direct spray with contact action.
