Almost automatic transmission based on plantetary gear set use the torque converter as a starting device due to high power density and comfortable, vibration-decoupling torque transmission. But, the most disadvantage of the hydrodynamic starting device is low fuel efficiency. The torque converter in its modern design with lockup clutch and despite more and more improvements requires radial and axial installation space between the engine and the transmission. But, it is impossible to use big size converter because of limit area for starting device. The newly introduced the starting device with multi-plates is able to use to the stepped automatic transmission. This wet start clutch can achieve compact size due to no hydraulic elements, only have multi-plate clutch and damper system. The most innovative design for this starting device is the self-induced cooling concept. The single side plates with radial slots and reliefs in the steel support on the external and internal providing oil flow paths to cooling around the friction material which was heated by high slip speed. To endure extremely slip condition, it needs to optimize the shape of the oil flow path on the friction plates to increase cooling flow rate. This paper describes the optimization of oil path on friction plate by using CFD software to increase oil flow rate through the friction lining.

컴퓨터보조진단을 이용한 유방 초음파영상에서의 미세석회화 검출 효율

유방영상은 유방 전체의 재현 가능한 영상을 만들며, 만져지지 않는 조기 유방암의 가장 중요한 소견인 미세석회화와 종괴를 발견할 수 있어 유방 질환의 일차적인 선별검사로 이용되고 있다. 유방 병변의 미세석회화는 조기 유방암의 진단에 있어서 중요한 병변으로 보고되고 있지만 유방초음파 검사에서 검출이 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 유방초음파 영상에서 미세석회화 검출을 위해 6가지의 질감분석 파라미터를 이용하였으며, 정상 초음파영상과 미세석회화가 보이는 초음파 영상 간의 병변인식률을 알아보았다. 실험결과로는 유방촬영영상과 유방 초음파영상에서 병변을 구별하는 컴퓨터자동진단 인식률은 70∼98%로 상당히 높은 결과를 나타내었다. ROC 분석에서도 평균대조도와 엔트로피 파라미터의 특이도는 다소 낮게 나타났으나, 나머지 4개 파라미터의 민감도와 특이도는 90% 이상을 나타내어 초음파영상에서 미세석회화 검출의 가능성을 보였다. 향후 6가지 질감분석 알고리즘들 외에 추가적인 파라미터 알고리즘의 연구가 계속 진행되어 컴퓨터자동진단의 실용화기반을 마련한다면 전문의 진단의 예비단계로서 더욱 중요한 의미를 가질 것이며, 유방암의 조기진단에 매우 유용할 것으로 사료된다. Digital Mammography makes it possible to reproduce the entire breast image. And it is used to detect microcalcification and mass which are the most important point of view of nonpalpable early breast cancer, so it has been used as the primary screening test of breast disease. It is reported that microcalcification of breast lesion is important in diagnosis of early breast cancer. In this study, six types of texture features algorithms are used to detect microcalcification on breast US images and the study has analyzed recognition rate of lesion between normal US images and other US images which microcalification is seen. As a result of the experiment, Computer aided diagnosis recognition rate that distinguishes mammography and breast US disease was considerably high 70∼98%. The average contrast and entropy parameters were low in ROC analysis, but sensitivity and specificity of four types parameters were over 90%. Therefore it is possible to detect microcalcification on US images. If not only six types of texture features algorithms but also the research of additional parameter algorithm is being continually proceeded and basis of practical use on CAD is being prepared, it can be a important meaning as pre -reading. Also, it is considered very useful things for early diagnosis of breast cancer.
