        The purpose of this study was to identify psychological methods and a range of applications as well as to apply theoretical knowledges about how gymnastic performers approach psychologically to increase quality of performance in terms of training and games. The psychological factors were an important tool in performing gymnastics underlying comples tasks and balances. As a matter of facts, researchers have investigated the most specific description of personality and characteristics of mental activity in systematic training of gymnatics. however, there has been a problem that coaches do not use psychological methods in training processes. The coaches who were related to the most aggressive factors were not open-minded in using the psychological methods. The guidelines of the most important psychological training for the coaches were as follows, 1. Coaches should know how they select potentially competitive performers and methods of psychological test for coaching strategies. 2. Coaches should learn psychological training methods about motion perspective, overcoming protective response, focus on strengths, overcoming physical-emotional fatigue and adopting psychological-physical load. 3. Coaches should learn educational-psychological methods that lead to the successful outcome, which performers can release psychological tension and competitive stress, cultivate persistence and overcom the emotional reactions about success and failure for beneficaial psychological background. 4. Coaches should learn coaching methods which were continuing instructional training, positively motivating performers and stimulating performers more interest about training and practice. 5. Coaches should provide beneficial psychological environments during training session. 6. According to the factors of analytic psychology, coaches should get to know each performer's age, personality characteristics, game preparation. For the sake of the above guidelines, coaches must execute continually goal-directed training and require recent research background in the field of sport psychology.

        세탁용 가성소다 관장에 의한 사망 사례 보고

        The principal manifestation of poisoning induced by the alkaline substance is a corrosive effects in tissues. The alkalies combine with protein and fat of the tissue, causing deep penetrating injury and liquefactive necrosis of the organs. Liquid lye is the most frequently ingested form of corrosive agents and causes most of the deaths associated with corrosive agent ingestion. We have experienced 5 fatal cases which were accidentally administered liquid lye as soap-saline enema in the hospital during 30 days. the 3 cases of them were autopsied at this institute. At autopsy, the digestive tract including rectum, colon and small intestine revealed hemorrhagic necrosis with multiple area of perforation. Because these were the first proved cases that the liquid lye was used as enema solution, we report here.

      • Bacillus sp. KCM-101에 의한 내열성 α-amylase의 생산 및 효소학적 성질

        A strain isolated from soil was able to produce thermostable α-amylase. The strain (KC-101) was identification as Bacillus sp. Bacillus sp. KC-101 was treated NTG(N-methyl-nitro-nitrosoguanidine). The mutant KCM-101 increased α-amylase activity and decreased pretease activity. The condition for production, purification, and properties of α-amylase were investigated. α-Amylase production was maximized when was grown on soluble starch 2.0%, yeast extract 0.5%, K2HPO4 0.1% and MnCl2 0.02% for 24hrs at 37℃, and initial pH 7.0. The enzyme production was also increased by the addition of 0.01% Triton X-100. The enzyme was purified by ultrafiltration(MW 10,000), 80% ammonium sulfate precipitation, and Sephadex G-75 gel chromatography and it's yield 15.0%, The characteristics of purified α-amylase were as follow : MW 55,000, optimal pH and temperature were 7.0 and 95℃, respectively. The enzyme was activated by Ca++ and Mn++ ion but inhibited Co++, Cu++, Hg++, and Pb++ ion. The enzyme was stable at 95℃ and it's thermostability was greatly increased by the addition of Ca++. In kinetic studies, the Km value of α-amylase for soluble starch was 0.93mg/mL.

      • 1,2-Benzisothiazol-3-one-1,1-Dioxide 유도체의 합성

        사카린 유도체는 제초제, 항독성, 살균제 등에 광범위하게 연구되어져 오고 있다. 새로운 농략 활성을 가진 물질을 합성하기 위해 먼저 선도물질로 사카린 1을 산화, 염소화 시킨 3-chloro-1,2-benzisothiazol-1,1-dioxide(BID-CI) 2와2cholromethy-1,2-benzisohizol-3-one1,1-dioxide 4를 합성하였다. 선도물질, amines, imidazoles, trones등과 반응시켜 다음과 같은 물질들을 얻었다. ; 3-cyclohexylamino-1,2-benzisothiazol-1,1-dioxide 6, 3-furylamino-1,2-benzisothiazol-1,1-dioxide 8, 3-(3-imidazol)-1,2-benzisothiazol-1,1-dioxide 10, 3-(2-methy-3-imidazol)-1,2-benzisothaizol-1,1-dioxide 12, 2-(3-imidazol)methy-1-1,2-benzisothiazol-3-one-1,1-dioxide 13, and 2-(-3-imidazol)methyl- 1,2-benzisothiazol-1,1-dioxide 14.

      • 콘택트렌즈 보존 용기 유래 Acanthamoeba lugdunensis KA/L5주의 내공생세균

        콘택트렌즈 보존 용기 유래 가시아메바 KA/L5주의 세포질 내에 존재하는 bacterial endosymbiont(내공생세균)를 투과전자현미경으로 관찰하여 확인하였다. 숙주인 가시아메바 KA/L5주는 형태학적으로 제2군에 속하였고, rDNA PCR-RFLP 결과 A. lugdunensis로 동정되었다. 미토콘드리아 DNA RFLP와 동위효소 분석상 이 충주는 국내 콘택트렌즈 보존용기에서 가장흔히 분리되는 type인 KA/Ll주, 국내 임상 분리주 중 하나인 KA/E2주, 내공생세균을 가지는 것으로 보고된 병원 냉각수 유래 KA/W4주 및 L3a주와 동일하거나 매우 유사한 성적을 보였다. 내공생세균은 약 1.38× 0.507㎛의 크기였고, 아메바 세포질 내에 불규칙하게 분포하고 있었으며. 그 표면에 아메바의 ribosome이 부착되어 있었다. 내공생세균을 둘러싼 lacunae나 막과 같은 구조는 관찰되지 않았다. Legionella 특이 primer를 이용한 효소중합반응(PCR)에서 내공생세균의 염색체 DNA는 증폭되지 않았다. A. lugdunensis의 우리말 이름을 담수가시아메바로 제안한다. Transmission electron microscopy of an Acanthamieba isolate (KA/L5) from a contact lens case revealed bacterial endosymbionts within cytoplasm of the amoebae, The Acanthamoeba isolate belonged to the morphological group II. Based on the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) - restriction fragment length Polymorphism (RFLP) of 18S ribosomal RNA coding DNA (rDNA), the Isolate was identified as A. lugdunensis. Strain typing by isoenzyme analysis using isoelectric focusing (IEF) and mitochondrial (Mt) DNA RFLP revealed that the isolate was closely related with KA/Ll , the most predominant type of isolates from contact lens storage cases, KA/E2, a clinical isolate, KA/W4, preciously reported to host endosymbionts, and L3a strains of A. lugdunensis. The endosymbionts were similar to those of KA/W4 In aspects that they were randomly distributed in both trophozoites and cysts, and were rod-shaped bacteria measuring approximately 1.38x 0.50㎛. But the number of endosymbionts per amoeba was significantly lower than that of KA/W4. They were neither limited by phagosomal membranes nor included In lacunae- like structure.

        유색미에 관한 연구 : Ⅲ. 유색미 유망계통에 대한 주요 생육 특성

        국내외 유색미 수집종을 돌연변이원에 의해 유기된 우수 계통과 수집종간 상호교배에 의해 선발된 CNU 20계통을 파종하여 얻어진 주요 작물학적 특성을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 1. 간장은 유색 메벼인 CNU126 계통이 대조품종인 동진벼와 같이 가장 컸고 메성인 CNU 128계통에서 가장 작았다. 2. 주당 분얼수는 CNU3, CNU50. CNU56, CNU112 계통에서 가장 많았고 대조품종과 CNU 128 계통에서 10개 미만으로 가장 적게 나타났다. 3. 수장은 육성 계통 중 CNU88 계통에서 가장 길었으나 대조구보다 짧고, 육성계통 중에서는 CNU 126 계통이 가장 짧았다. 4. 주당 영화수는 대조구인 동진벼보다 CNU50 계통에서 2배 이상 많았고, CNU158 계통에서 가장 적게 나타났다. 5. 천립중은 CNU113 계통에서 30g이상으로 대조구와 같이 가장 무거웠고, CNU128 계통에서 20g으로 가장 적었다. 6. 주당 수량은 대조구의 26.6g에 비해 CNU50, CNU112 계통에서 두배정도 높았고, CNU128, CNU158, CNU200 계통에서 가장 낮게 타나났다. Aims of this study were carried out to develop the useful lines induced from mutation and pedigree breeding methods among the collected genetic resources from national and domestic areas. In this study, Stem height of CNU126 line and check among them were high, while CNU128 was lower than other lines. Spiklet length of CNU88 was longer, but that of CNU126 was shorter than check. Number of spiklets per plant of CNU50 among lines have twice time than check. 1,000 grains weight of CNU113 was higher than check. In yield per plant, CNU50 and CNU112 were higher than check, Dongjinbyeo.

        Effect of Nicotinic Acid on Sperm Characteristic and Oocyte Development after In Vitro Fertilization using Cryopreserved Boar Semen

        The objective of this study was to investigate the efficiency of nicotinic acid on sperm cryosurvival and fertilization ability in frozen-thawed boar semen. Boar semen was collected by glove-hand method and was frozen using freezing solution treated to 0, 5, 10 and 20 mM of nicotinic acid. The frozen sperm for sperm characteristic analysis was thawed such as viability, acrosome reaction, and mitochondrial integrity. The frozen-thawed sperm was estimated by SYBR14/PI double staining for viability, FITC-PNA/PI double staining for acrosome reaction and Rhodamine123/PI double staining for mitochondrial integrity using a flow cytometry. The embryo was estimated in vitro development and DCFDA staining for reactive oxygen species assessment. As results, frozen-thawed sperm viability was significantly higher in 5 and 10 mM (61.1 ± 1.5%, 64.7 ± 2.0%) of nicotinic acid than other groups (0 mM, 52.1 ± 2.3%; 20 mM, 47.8 ± 5.1%, P<0.05). The live sperm with acrosome reaction was significantly higher in 5 and 10 mM of nicotinic acid (26.1 ± 1.8%, 24.9 ± 1.5%) than other groups (0 mM, 35.3 ± 0.8%; 20 mM, 36.5 ± 1.9%, P<0.05). The live sperm with mitochondrial integrity was significantly higher in 5 and 10 mM (84.2 ± 3.6%, 88.4 ± 2.3%) of nicotinic acid than other groups (0 mM, 77.3 ± 4.4%; 20 mM, 73.3 ± 3.6%, P<0.05). Blastocyst rate of in vitro development was significantly higher in 10 mM (17.0 ± 1.3%) of nicotinic acid than other groups (0 mM, 9.4 ± 0.5%; 5mM, 12.6 ± 0.8%; 20 mM, 5.0 ± 1.0%, P<0.05). Moreover, total cell number was higher in 5 and 10 mM (53.6 ± 2.9%, 57.9 ± 2.8%) of nicotinic acid than other groups (0 mM, 41.0 ± 1.4%; 20 mM, 23.2 ± 2.8%, P<0.05). Hydrogen peroxide in embryos was lower in 5 mM nicotinic acid (0.7 ± 0.1%) than other groups (0 mM, 1.0 ± 0.1%; 10mM, 0.9 ± 0.0%; 20 mM, 1.4 ± 1.0%, P<0.05). In conclusion, nicotinic acid-treated semen improves cryosurvival and quality of spermatozoa. Also, the fertilized oocytes with nicotinic acid improve quality of embryo and blastocyst formation.

        <P>Conclusions: OAT was associated with a higher prevalence and early detection of genitourinary cancer in AF patients with hematuria. Meticulous evaluation of the cause of hematuria is necessary in AF patients with hematuria receiving OAT.</P>
