藥物의 吸收 排池에 關한 硏究(第6報) : 病態白鼠에서의 Sulpyrine 吸收에 대하여 Absorption of Sulpyrine in Pathological Rats

Studies on the gastrointestinal absorption of sulpyrine was examined by rats pretreated with alloxan on carbon tetrachloride(CCl_4). Gastric absorption was increased in proportion to pH addition Alloxan diabeted group was increased rather than control group but hepatic disorder group was repressed more or less. Intestinal absorption of sulpyrine by in situ recirculating perfusion was increased in alloxan diabetes group and was repressed in hepatic disorder group, too. Absorption half-life of control, alloxan diabetes and hepatic disorder groups was 54.57, 36.32 and 72.63 minutes in separate. The transmucosal fluid in the intestine of alloxan diabetic rats was abserlved to be increased but CCl_4 hepatic disorder's rats be depressed. But the rate of transmucosal fluid was not in proportion to absorption of drugs.

In this paper, we propose a simple and efficient heuristic method to determine job sequencing in the flow-shop considering multiple criteria such as processing time, due date and cost. The proposed method is applicable to the flow-shop were the jobs are released simultaneously and their processing sequence is predetermined and not changed until the whole jobs are processed. To develop this method, we mixed and modified some well-known multi-attribute decision heuristics such as the simple linear weighting scheme, the lexicographic rule and the 'elimination by aspect' rule. Some computer simulations were conducted to test the efficiency of the proposed method and it has been compared with the SWPT(Shortest Working Processing Time) rule and EDD (Earliest Due Date) rule. The results show that our method is as effective as the traditional ones in terms of mean flow time, tardiness, makespan, cycle time, machine utilization, etc., and proved to be much simpler and more flexible to be used in real situations.

The wide area of kwangyang Bay will be, in the 2000s, developed into a metroploise with the main functions such as those of manufacturing industry, shipping industry and harbor works, tourist and service industry. Such a development of the said area but to the development of national economy through attempting a balanced development of our country and solving the social disadvantages caused by centralization and accumulation. With this development of the area of kwanghang Bay, Sunchon-city not only as a center of culture, education and distribution but also as a comprehensive resea-rch complex of agriculture and industry should carry out a head function in the wide area of kwnagyang Bay. It should also establish Yeochon-city as stronghold of tourism and marine transportation and make the city at the rear of kwangyang Bay carry out the synthesized function as both a port and industrial city. Yeochon city should be developed into a residential area in the back of Yeo-chon Industry Complex : the city in the back of Yulchon should be developed in to the city with the function of a garden city. In addition, with the view of meeting the great increase in tourism demand, recreation facilities should be provided, and a closer connection with the sight-seeing areas of Jiri Mountain and Hanryosudo should be also built up. For the rational distribution and the full use of all functions of the wide area of kwangyang Bay, the expansion of social indirect capital such as the de-velopment of road, harbor, airport should be given the precedence.

Histiocytic medullary reticulosis (HMR) is a malignant noeplastic process, with tumor cells belonging to the histiomonocytic line, and originally described by Scott and Robb-Smith in 1939 characterized by its acute onset, progression to death within a few months and its clinical features are fever, lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, jaundice, and purpura common laboratory findings are characterized by severe anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia and histologically by systemic progressive invasion of morphologically atypical histiocytes or of their precursor. 61 and 37-year-old males were admitted with camplaints of high fever and chilling sensation and were treated by cyclophosphamide, vincristine, prednison and antiobiotics, but patients all died 17 and 14 days after admission due to probably sepsis and respiratory failure.

The timing of flowering, which is of crucial importance for plant growth and survival, is controlled by intricate pathways. To identify heading date-QTL, we constructed high resolution map on chromosome 3 using heterogeneous inbred family-near isogenic lines (H-NILs) derived from F7 RILs generated by the cross of early-heading japonica rice ‘H143’ and middle-late-heading indica-japonica hybrid cultivar ‘Milyang23’. QTL and subsequent sequence analysis using H-NILs revealed that the gene underlining QTL EH3, which is detected in the region of Hd16, is EL1 encoding casein kinase I (CKI). Two types of single amino acid substitutions in Ser/Thr kinase domain of EL1 were found in various cultivars, among which H-NIL(eh3) caused loss of function in EL1 demonstrated by altered heading date and GA response. Moreover, the phosphorylation of EL1 appears to involve in EL1 activity to regulate heading date. Transcriptional analysis clearly indicated that H-NIL(EH3) suppresses heading under LD conditions by down-regulating Ehd1, there by Hd3a and RFT1 expressions were not induced, suggesting that EL1 is photoperiod-sensitive and functions as a LD-specific suppressor of heading. Further characterization suggested that EL1 is likely to involve in anther development and seed settings by regulating GAMYB expression. Our study demonstrated that the genetic basis of natural variation occurred in ‘H143’ was revealed by QTL analysis using H-NILs, and EH3/EL1 function is crucial for heading and development in rice. The genetic natural variation of H-NIL(eh3) may have contributed to adaptation of rice cultivation to the higher regions by regulating the expression of rice flowering activator genes and GA signaling.

Influence of Hyoscine-N-butylbromide on visualiation of the upper urivary tract by intraveous pyelograbhy Jae Choon Cho, Kee Soo Kim. Department of Urology, Catholic Medical College Seoul, Korea The intravenous pyelography is a valuable diagnostic procedure in urological studies. There are four kinds of methods in the visualization of the upper urinary tract: Retrograde pyelography, minute sequence pyelography, antegrade pyelography and intravenous pyelography. Each procedure has its own advantages depending i on the purpose required. In the intravenous pyelography every effort should be made to protect expelling of the radiopaque medium from the renal pelvis into the bladder. The compression exerted on the abdomen around the lower ureters and the Trendelenburg gposition of the table are the choice of methods for this intravebut those are uncomfortable prodecures for the patient even though they are as a routine used in the purpose nous pyelography. Urine and other contents in the renal pelvis and ureters are drained into the bladder by ureteral peristalsis which is controled by parasympathetic nerves. So far no parasympatholytic agents such as atropine, scopolamine and other similar drugs were found to inhibit the ureteral peristalsis. C.H. Boehringer Sohn have synthesized Hyoscine-N-butylbromide from scopolamine in their laboratory. Helmut Wick in 1951 reported by experiments Hyoscine-N-butylbromide to be a parasympathetic ganglion blocking agent which inhibits spasms of the smooth muscles and peristalsis in the `gast-ro-intestinal tract, bronchus, kindney, ureters, bladder and uterus. The purpose of this study is to observe the influence of Hyoscine-N-butylbromide on ureteral spasms and the size of the kidney by intravenous pyelography. The authors choose 30 patients whose urography showed a spastic ureteral narrowing and a kinking of the ureter. Each patient was given 2 ml of Hyoscine-N-butylbromide intramusculary 30 minutes before intravenous pyelography was taken without compression on the lower abdomen and without changing of the patient's position. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Spastic ureteral narrowing due to increased ureteral peristalsis subsided by injection of Hyoscine-N-butylbromide on I.V.P. 2. Hyoscine-N-butylbromide was helpful to visusalize the upper urinary tract in the I.V.P. in spine positionl without compression of the lower abdomen and/or by tilting the table. 3. The size of the kidney was enlarged by 1.0 cmX 1.5 cm and caliber of the ureter was also enlarged by 3cm following an injection of Hyoscine-N-butylbromide for I.V.P.
