Now, the international situation has been in a great variation. Such a situation is named "Globalization" - internationalization. The world has been expanding the international dependency breaking from the security-centered diplomacy policy under the past Cold War system, and also diplomacy activities for external conditions of security such as economy and sport. That is why such activities conform to national profits. Therefore, this thesis is a study on the sports diplomacy policy whose importance gets increased in the international social environment, and this is for the purpose of finding out what "Korea Sports Diplomacy Policy Decision Factors" are. In factors influencing directly on the Korea sport diplomacy police decision, the ruler's influence was the greatest factor, and followed by the domestic policy situation influencing on the ruler's image because of this environmental factor. In domestic environmental factors, the domestic economy and culture have stabilized the Korea society based on the economy growth in 1980s, increased Korean cultural desires, achieved comprehensive cultural evolvement, therefore made them understood. And in international environmental factors, the international sport has Korea established its position as the world's strong sports nation in 1980, and enhanced the Korean international image. Therefore Korea government has promoted the consistent police to keep the phase with this opportunity. Like this, the Korea sports diplomacy police has been influenced by international and domestic environmental decision factors. However, first of all, it is expected that the influence of governmental related institutions such as Korea Sports Council and Korean Olympic Committee will be greatly enlarged.

According to recent studies, the immunogenetic factors are thought to be account for a part of the etiopathogenesis of autoimmune thyroid disease. In Korea, there was one report on the relationship between HLA DR5, DR8, B13 and autoimmune thyroid disease. There were also several reports on a familial hereditary transmission of autoimmune thyroid disease in other countries but not in Korea. We describe the occurrence of autoimmune thyroid disease that affected three members of a family through three generations. This is the first report on familial hereditary transmission of autoimmune thyroid disease in Korea. We report on an 80-year-old woman who presented with Hashimoto's thyroiditis, her 53-year-old daughter who had Graves' disease, and her 29-year-old grand-daughter who had Graves' disease. In order to identify the immunogenetic influence in these cases, HLA haplotypes & thyroid autoantibody were studied. HLA DRB3*02 was obseved in each of the patents. HLA DQB1*0301, DR11, DQB1*05031 and DR14 were observed in the two cases. However, HLA B13, DR5 and DR8 were not observed. The patients are currently undergoing follow-up using PTU, methimazole and synthyroid medication

Al films deposited on sputtered-TiN substrate by metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) from DMEAA were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Auger electron spectroscopy(AES), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), and atomic force microscopy(AFM). Deposition rate showed increase-maximum-decrease pattern in the temperature ragne of 100~25$0^{\circ}C$ with maximum deposition rate around 15$0^{\circ}C$. The film deposited at low temperatures showed equiaxed grains, and at high temperatures elongated block-like grains along with alumnum oxide particle inclusions were observed. There exist many dislocations at the Al/TiN interface. Aluminum oxide phase was formed at the Al/TiN interace during the early stage of Al deposition.

Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) is the secondary most common tumor in HIV-infected individuals. The AIDS-related lymphomas are a late manifestation of HIV infection and may increase in frequency as patients live longer with highly active antiretroviral therapy and effective prophylaxis of opportunistic infections. Histologically AIDS-related NHL are either high (2/3) or intermediate (1/3) grade lymphoma. We report a case of gastric Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in AIDS patient. Two years ago, she was diagnosed as HIV-infected individual in public hospital. She presented with epigastric pain and mass-like sensation. Under the impression of gastric cancer, subtotal gastrectomy was done. But, she diagnosed as diffuse large B cell lymphoma by histologic finding, immunohistochemical study. This is the first report of gastric Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma from AIDS patients in Korea(Korean J Med 62:223-229, 2002)
Effect of CNT Addition on the Hydriding and Dehydriding Rates of Mg-Ni-Fe2O3 Alloy

Samples with compositions of 80 wt% Mg-14 wt% Ni-6 wt% Fe2O3 (named Mg-Ni-Fe2O3), and 78 wt% Mg-14 wt% Ni-6 wt% Fe2O3-2 wt% CNT (named Mg-Ni-Fe2O3-CNT ) were prepared by reactive mechanical grinding. Hydriding and dehydriding properties and effects of CNT addition on the hydriding and dehydriding rates of Mg-Ni-Fe2O3 were then investigated. Activation of the Mg-14Ni-6Fe2O3 sample was completed after three hydriding (under 12 bar H2)-dehydriding (under 1.0 bar H2) cycles at 573 K. The addition of CNT to the Mg-14Ni-6Fe2O3 sample made the activation process unnecessary, with a small decrease in the hydrogen-storage capacity.
Roll-to-Roll Microimprinting Process for Indium Tin Oxide Layer Patterning

<P>Conventional indium tin oxide (ITO) layer patterning processes are problematic because they have limited efficiency. Many applications demand large-area, continuous processing with low costs and a high throughput. In order to overcome these problems, a continuous roll-to-roll (R2R) microimprinting process is proposed and demonstrated for the purpose of ITO layer patterning. Additionally, a series of experiments were conducted to investigate the influence of process parameters, i.e., the operating speed, the nip pressure and the tension of substrate, and the geometry, i.e., the width and height of the master patterns, on the imprinted patterns of ITO-coated polyethylene terephthalate substrates. The proper imprinting conditions are investigated and the mechanism of ITO patterning by imprinting process was suggested. It was found that the ITO-coated area can be electrically isolated through the imprinting process, by the accumulation of microcracks on ITO induced by the deformation. Hydrogen-Storage Properties of Li3N, LiBH4, Fe and/or Ti-Added Mg or MgH2

In order to increase the hydrogen storage performance of Mg or MgH2-based materials, Li3N, LiBH4, Fe, and/or Ti were added. Mixtures with compositions of 50MgH2-50Li3N, 40Mg-10MgH2-50Li3N, 68MgH2-17LiBH4-15Fe, and 70MgH2-17LiBH4-13Ti were prepared by reactive mechanical grinding, and their hydrogen-storage properties were examined. 68MgH2-17LiBH4-15Fe and 70MgH2-17LiBH4-13Ti had higher hydriding rates than the Li3N-containing samples, 50MgH2-50Li3N and 40Mg-10MgH2-50Li3N, at 573 K under 12 bar H2. However, the dehydriding rates of 68MgH2-17LiBH4-15Fe and 70MgH2-17LiBH4-13Ti were as low as those of the Li3N-containing samples at 573 K under 1.0 bar H2. (Received December 18, 2012)
Hydrogen Storage Properties of Hydriding-Dehydriding Cycled Magnesium-Nickel-Iron Oxide Alloy

By measuring the absorbed hydrogen quantity as a function of the number of cycles, the cycling properties of the Mg-15 wt%Ni-5 wt%Fe2O3 alloy were investigated. The absorbed hydrogen quantity decreased as the number of cycles increased. The Ha value varied almost linearly with the number of cycles. The maintainability of absorbed hydrogen quantity at n=100 was 89.0% for the hydriding reaction time of 10 min. After the 150th hydriding-dehydriding cycle, Mg, Mg2Ni, Mg(OH)2, MgO, and Fe were observed. The phases were analyzed by Rietveld analysis from the XRD patterns of the Mg-15 wt%Ni-5 wt%Fe2O3 alloy after 150 hydriding-dehydriding cycles. The crystallite size and strain of Mg were then estimated with the Williamson-Hall technique.
