공기 중 축산질병 확산예측을 위한 오픈폼 도입 및 검증

Accurate wind data is essential for predicting airborne spread of virus. OpenFOAM was used for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation procedure which is under GNU GPL (General Public License). Using complex terrain, DEM (Digital Elevation Map) that was prepared from GIS information covering a research site is converted to a three dimensional surface mesh that is composed by quad and full hexahedral space meshes. Around this surface mesh, an extended computational domain volume was designed. Atmospheric flow boundary conditions were used at inlet and roughness height and was considered at terrain by using rough wall function. Two different wind conditions that was relatively stable during certain periods were compared in 3 different locations for validating the accuracy of the CFD computed solution. The result shows about 10 % of difference between the calculated result and measured data. This procedure can simulate a prediction of time-series data for airborne virus spread that can be used to make a web-based forecasting system of airborne virus spread.

An experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation with citrus pulp, fish by-product,and Bacillus subtilis fermentation biomass on the growth performance, apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD) ofnutrients, and fecal microflora of weanling pigs. A total of 180 weaned piglets (Landrace × Yorkshire × Duroc) wererandomly allotted to three treatments on the basis of body weight (BW). There were six replicate pens in eachtreatment with 10 piglets per pen. Dietary treatments were corn-soybean meal-based basal diet supplemented with 0(control), 2.5, and 5.0% citrus pulp, fish by-product, and B. subtilis fermentation biomass. The isocaloric and isoproteineousexperimental diets were fed in mash form in two phases (d 0 ~ 14, phase I and d 15 ~ 28, phase II). Dietary treatmentshad significant linear effects on gain to feed ratio (G:F) in all periods, whereas significant linear effects on ATTD of drymatter (DM), gross energy (GE), and ash were only observed in phase I. Piglets fed diet supplemented with 5.0% citruspulp, fish by-product, and B. subtilis fermentation biomass showed greater (p < 0.05) G:F (phase I, phase II, and overall)as well as ATTD of DM, GE, and ash (phase I) than pigs fed control diet. Dietary treatments also had significant lineareffects on total anaerobic bacteria populations by d 14 and 28. In addition, piglets fed diet supplemented with 5.0%citrus pulp, fish by-product and B. subtilis fermentation biomass showed greater (p < 0.05) fecal total anaerobic bacteriapopulations (d 14 and 28) than pigs fed control diet. Dietary treatments had no significant effects (linear or quadratic)on average daily gain (ADG), average dial feed intake (ADFI; phase I, phase II, and overall), or fecal populations ofBifidobacterium spp., Clostridium spp., and coliforms (d 14 and 28). These results indicate that dietary supplementationwith 5.0% citrus pulp, fish by-product, and B. subtilis fermentation biomass has the potential to improve the feedefficiency, nutrient digestibility, and fecal microflora of weanling pigs.
한방치료로 호전된 섬망을 동반한 좌측 중대뇌동맥경색 환자의 치험 1례

Objectives: The purpose of this case study is to describe the effect of Korean medicine on a patient with delirium caused by a left middle cerebral artery infarct. Methods: The patient was treated with Sopungbosimdodam-tang, acupuncture, and moxibustion. The Korean version of the Delirium Rating Scale (K-DRS), Neelon and Champagne (NEECHAM) Confusion Scale, and Korean Version of the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE-K) were used to evaluate the effect of the treatment. Results: After 50 days of treatment with Sopungbosimdodam-tang, the patient's K-DRS score decreased from 16 to 8. The NEECHAM Confusion Scale also improved from 17 to 23, and the MMSE-K score improved from 1 to 7. Conclusion: This clinical study suggested that Korean medicine could contribute greatly to the treatment of delirium caused by a left middle cerebral artery infarct.
복시 및 안구운동장애를 호소하는 뇌간경색 환자의 한방 치험 1례

Objective: This clinical study reports on the effectiveness of traditional Korean medicine on a patient with diplopia and eye-movement impairment caused by brain-stem infarction.Method: A patient with diplopia and eye-movement impairment caused by brain-stem infarction was treated with herbal medicine (Bogan-san), acupuncture, and moxibustion. We used the visual analogue scale (VAS) of diplopia and measured the patient's eye-movement range to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment.Results: The diplopia VAS decreased and eye-movement range improved after treatment with traditional Korean medicine.Conclusion: This clinical study suggests that traditional Korean medicine could greatly contribute to the treatment of diplopia and eye-movement impairment caused by brain-stem infarction.
The Incidence and Impact of Abdominal Surgery on Delirium in Abdominal Trauma Patients

Purpose: The occurrence of trauma-related delirium following postoperative abdominal surgery is associated with a poor prognosis. The purpose of this study was to identify predictive risk factors for trauma-related delirium. Methods: Trauma patient data from a regional trauma center were retrospectively collected from August 2015 to December 2016. The primary inclusion criteria were patients diagnosed with trauma-related delirium following abdominal trauma surgery. Head trauma patients and those under 18 years of age were excluded from this study. A multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to identify the risk factors associated with trauma-related delirium. Results: Of the 255 trauma patients who met the inclusion criteria, 32 (12.5%) were diagnosed with delirium. The mean values for the age of the patients, Injury Severity Score, Glasgow Coma Scale score, and length of intensive care unit stay were 52.1 ± 17.8 years, 16.9, 14, and 7.1 days, respectively. Among the measured parameters, age [odds ratio (OR), 1.03; 95% confidence interval (CI), 1.01-1.06; p = 0.022)], sex (OR, 0.125; 0.03-0.55; p = 0.006), hemoglobin level (OR, 0.875; CI, 0.68-0.98; p = 0.03), length of stay in the intensive care unit (OR, 1.12; CI, 1.03-1.22; p = 0.01), and having an abdominal operation (OR, 2.92; CI, 1.10-7.23; p = 0.011) showed strong correlations with trauma-related deliriumConclusion: This study showed that abdominal surgery was strongly associated with delirium in patients with traumatic abdominal injury. Thus, changes in consciousness should be carefully monitored following surgery.
반도체․FPD 제조설비와 클린룸의 RISK 최소화를 위한 폭발위험장소 설정 모델링에 관한 연구

In this study, we analyzed risks of the fabrication process equipment and cleanroom for semiconductor/ flat panel display (FPD) manufacturing facilities and studied the fundamental safety measures for the risk factors. We examined the explosion proof design models considering the specificity of equipment and environment, and planned to utilize the findings to provide technical standards and grounds for designing and manufacturing related equipment. We believe that this study will contribute to the establishment of technical standards for semiconductor/FPD industry and businesses in many different ways by providing optimized modeling of high-risk explosion site detection, developing safety standards and hazard countermeasures and voluntary activation of safety certification system for operation of fabrication process equipment. 본 연구를 통하여 반도체․FPD 제조설비 및 클린룸에 관련한 설비의 위험성분석과 그에 대한 근원적인 안전대책을 연구하고, 설비 및 환경의 특수성을 고려한 방폭 설계 모델링화를 검토하여 관련 설비의 설계 및 제작에 기술적인 기준과 근거로 활용하고자 하며, 아래와 같은 성과로서 향후 반도체․FPD 산업의 기술적 기준 수립 및 관련 산업에 기여할 것으로 생각한다. 1) 관련 국제 기술규격과 법령, 설비의 특성을 반영한 FAB 장비의 최적화된 폭발위험장소의 모델링 도출2) FAB 장비 및 클린 룸의 특성을 고려한 위험설비의 안전성 확보 (Fool-Proof와 Fail Safe)를 위한 안전시스템구축방안과 안전기준 및 대책 도출3) 향후 FAB 장비의 방폭 설계에 대한 가장 효율적인 기준 적용을 통한 신규 FAB 장비의 방폭 성능의 유연성확보하고 수립된 안전기준을 통한 설비와 안전시스템의 신뢰성 검증 절차 운영을 위한 『안전인증제도』 의 자율적 향상화
