        한국 남해와 동해 연안역 주요 먹이 어종의 풍도변화에 따른 삼치 개체군의 변동

        The population variation of Spanish mackerel (Scomberomorus niphonius) according to its major prey abundance was analyzed using monthly catches of coastal set net fisheries in the southern waters off Gyeongsangnam-do and eastern waters off Gyeongsangbuk-do of Korea from 2006 to 2019. The abundance of Spanish mackerel and its prey species fluctuated almost simultaneously with time lags of +2 to -2 months between the set net fisheries in the southern and eastern waters. The generalized additive model revealed that the abundance of Spanish mackerel was influenced by its prey species such as hairtail and anchovy in southern waters, and common mackerel and horse mackerel in eastern waters. The model deviance explained 49% and 42% of Spanish mackerel abundance in southern and eastern waters respectively. These results suggest that the abundance of Spanish mackerel is affected by seasonal migratory prey fish species in the coastal areas and can be linked to their northerly migration.

        성선 이형성 환자 혈액 및 성선 조직에서 Y 염색체 모자이시즘의 진단

        Objective: The presence of Y chromosome in patients with gonadal dysgenesis is related to the risk of gonadoblastoma. Since the patients with abnormal sexual differentiation may have cryptic Y mosaicism, it is important to detect the presence of Y material in these patients. But sometimes it is difficult to detect Y material only with karyotyping. This study was performed to evaluate the usefulness of the SRY gene screening in blood and gonad by using PCR in detecting the presence of Y material and possible tissue mosaicism in patients with gonadal dysgenesis as Turner syndrome and 46,XY pure gonadal dysgenesis (PGD, Swyer syndrome). Method: In 26 patients with gonadal dysgenesis, we screened for Y material by using PCR for SRY gene in peripheral leukocytes and in gonadal tissues of some patients. They were 22 cases of Turner syndrome (7 45,XO, 2 46,Xi(Xq), 3 45,XO/46,XX, 5 45,XO/46,Xi(Xq), 1 45, XO/46,XY, 1 45,XO/46,Xi(Yq), 1 45,XO/47,XYY, 1 46,XX,del(X)(q24) and 1 46,X,+mar) and 4 cases of 46,XY pure gonadal dysgenesis. PCR for SRY gene in the gonadal tissue was performed in 5 Turner syndrome and 2 PGD to determine the cryptic Y mosaicism between blood and gonad. Results: By using PCR analysis for SRY, Y chromosome material was detected in the blood of 4 of 22 Turner syndrome patients (45,XO/46,Xi(Xq), 45,XO/46,Xi(Yq), 45,XO/46,XY, and 45, XO/47,XYY), 3 of 4 46,XY pure gonadal dysgenesis. Discrepancy between karyotyping and blood PCR for SRY was noted in 1 Turner syndrome (45,XO/46,Xi(Xq)) and 1 PGD. Laparoscopic gonadectomy was performed in Y containing or SRY positive cases. In addition, PCR analysis for SRY in the gonads of 5 Turner syndrome and 2 PGD showed discrepancy between blood and gonad or between both gonads in 3 Turner syndrome (45,XO/46,Xi(Xq), 45,XO/46,Xi(Y q), 45,XO/46,XY) and 2 PGD patients. Conclusion: In gonadal dysgenesis, PCR analysis for SRY gene is useful to detect the cryptic Y mosaicism that is sometimes undetected by karyotyping. And since there may be tissue mosaicism, it is necessary to evaluate Y mosaicism in various tissues even in the case without Y chromosome on karyotyping.

        Population Genetic Structure of Japanese Anchovy (Engraulis japonicus) in Korean waters Based on Mitochondrial 12S Ribosomal RNA Gene Sequences

        한국해역에 분포하는 멸치의 유전학적 특성을 연구하기 위하여 미토콘드리아 12S 리보좀 RNA 유전자배열 (339 bp)을 분석하였다. 황해남부, 제주연안, 남해동부 등 3지역의 시료로 부터 총 35 mtDNA의 haplotype을 구하였다. 황해남부에서 채집된 멸치의 AN8T103은 PAUP 분석에서 $0.2-4.1\%$로 분리되는 독립적인 계통을 보이므로서 다른 연구해역으로부터 유입된 개체군인 것으로 보이나 금후 추가연구가 필요하다. AN8T103을 제외한 유전자 다양성은 $0.3-3.8\%$로서 개체군 내 염기다양성은 0.015(황해), 0.013(제주도), 0.015(남해)로 나타났다. 암컷유전자이동은 상당히 높았으며(Nm=25.5-36.44), 지역간 유전자거리(FST)는 유의한 차를 보이지 않았다$(P>0.01)$. 이러한 결과는 한국해역에 서식하는 멸치가 지리적으로 무작위 분산된 개체군임을 암시한다. We used portions of mitochondrial 125 ribosomal RNA gene sequences (339 bp) to investigate the phylogenetic and population genetic characteristics of the Japanese anchovy, Engraulis japonicus, in Korean waters. A total of 35 mtDNA haplotypes were obtained from the samples collected in 3 locations (the southern area of the Yellow Sea, the western coast of Jejudo, and the eastern area of the South Sea) in Korean waters. One haplotype, AN8T103, obtained from the southern area of the Yellow Sea, was formed according to an independent phylogenetic individual in the PAUP analysis, which was separated from the others by a $0.2-4.1\%$ sequence divergence. This distinct haplotype appeared to be one that was carried by immigrants from another study area, but further study is necessary. Genetic divergence, except for AN8T103, was moderate to substantial $(0.2-3.8\%)$ and nucleotide diversity within populations was 0.015 for Yellow Sea, 0.013 for Jejudo, and 0.D15 for South Sea, respectively. The female gene flow was substantial or high (Nm=25.5-36.4), and the genetic distances between regions were not statistically significant $(P>0.01)$. These results indicated that the Japanese anchovy populations occurring in Korean waters were consisted of individuals randomly dispersed over geographic areas.

        의료업종의 작업위험요인에 대한 실태조사 결과

        The purposes of this research are to survey work-related risk factors of musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs) in various departments and tasks at general hospitals in non-manufacturing sectors, and to use basic data derived from the survey results in preventing work-related MSDs in hospital workers. Investigation started in March of 2006 and continued for 6 months in 220 general hospitals at Seoul, Incheon, Kyeongi, and Kangwon area. Investigators visited and interviewed workers in hospitals to identify the presence of tasks of musculoskeletal burden, the investigation results of ergonomic risk factors required by the Occupational Safety and Health Law, statistical analysis from questionnaire for musculoskeletal symptoms, and major departments and tasks that have such risk factors. Twenty-seven percents of hospitals finished the investigation of ergonomic risk factors, and 69% did not do the investigation while remained 4% did not have such factors in their hospitals. The rank order of major departments that had such musculoskeletal burdens was kitchen rooms of 143, managing departments/computer rooms/dispensaries of 137, physical treatment rooms of 109, nursing departments of 96, radiological and clinical laboratories of 63. Eighteen hospitals that did not hold legal duties by the section 148 of labor minister decree practiced prevention programs of MSDs according to the labor-management cooperation. Nursing departments ranked in the first place for the numbers of musculoskeletal symptoms of 438. Managing departments/computer rooms/dispensaries, kitchen rooms, and medical treatment departments held 127, 52 and 45 symptoms, respectively. The magnitude order of physical symptom areas followed shoulder of 185, backs and waist of 166, hand wrists of 120, necks of 110, and legs/feet of 106. The departments and jobs that had major work-related ergonomic risks were patient transporting, central supplying, patient nursing (moving patients into wheel-chairs, changing of patient posture and sheet alteration), manual transporting, operation, and managing/computer departments.

        LPC Cepstrum과 집단화를 이용한 한국어 고립단어 인식에 관한 연구

        본 논문은 화자독립 고립단어 인식에 있어서 LP모델의 문제점과 그 해결 방안으로서 cepstrum영역에 있어서 lifter를 이용한 해결에 대해서 고찰하였다. 한편, 각 인식 단어의 기준 패턴을 구하기 위한 방법으로서 집단화의 방법에 대해 논하였다. 집단화의 방법으로서는 UWA방법과 K-iteration방법을 변형시킨 KMA 방법을 제시 비교하였다. 인식실험결과 정현파 lifter와 KMA의 집단화 방법을 사용하였을 때 $95\%$의 최고 인식률을 보였다. In this paper, the problem of LP-model and it's solution by liftering in cepstrum domain are investigated in speaker independent isolated-word recognition. And, clustering technique is discussed for obtaining the reference template. KMA (K-means iteration with average) method, which is transformed from UWA method and K-iteration method, has been suggested and compared with each other for clustering, the result of recognition experiments shows max. $95\%$ recognition rate when rasied-sign lifter and KMA clustering method is applied.

        폭발적인 모바일 콘텐츠의 범람 현상을 우리는 현재 목도하고 있다. 벨소리나 온라인 게임 등은 이미 수익원으로 공인받은 상태이고, IMT2000 서비스를 통한 동영상 콘텐츠의 개화도 진행 중에 있다. 하지만 이런 장밋빛 예상과 기대 뒤에는 콘텐츠를 어떻게 하면 잘 보호할 수 있을까라는 문제가 복병처럼 숨어 있다. 이 문제는 바로 콘텐츠 보호를 책임질 DRM기술과 직접적인 관련이 있다고 해도 과언이 아니다.
