This paper considers the rail crane scheduling problem with minimizing the sum of the range of order completion time and make-span of rail crane simultaneously. The range of order completion time implies the difference between the maximum of completion time and minimum of start time. Make-span refers to the time when all the tasks are completed. At a rail terminal, logistics companies wish to concentrate on their task of loading and unloading container on/from rail freight train at a time in order to increase the efficiency of their equipment such as reach stacker. In other words, they want to reduce the range of their order completion time. As a part of efforts to meet the needs, the crane schedule is rearranged based on worker’s experience. We formulate the problem as a mixed integer program. To validate the effectiveness of the model, computational experiments were conducted using a set of data randomly generated.

Asphalt overlay resurfacing techniques have been widely utilized in maintaining asphalt concrete in Korea, causing severe traffic congestions while being in construction and difference in level due to the repeated overlay. Besides on these technical difficulties, there have been financial disadvantages associated with technique, mainly because overlay method has been executed for pavements with intact foundations, which is contrary to the norm. This study is aiming to increase the expected life length of the asphalt pavement up to the endurance period, to raise the efficiency of the pavement by maximizing the social benefit and to enhance public character of the street through combining ceramics with epoxy resins, which has advantages in compatibility with the existing pavement materials, durability to abrasion and endurance. It has been expected that the adoption of new method and pavement materials to the actual work sites will develop the performance of the pavements, and to lengthen the durability of the existing materials. The other advantages of the `thin surfacing` method could be the improved adhesiveness, waterproof, corrosion-proof and bending strength.

日本の大學生における性別による談話展開のパタンの樣相及び特徵を調べてみるため、分析の內容を大きく儀禮的な言語行動と意圖的な言語行動に分けた。儀禮的な言語行動である序頭談話と終結談話において、男子學生は女子學生とは違って心理的に近い關係だと思う友だちには애擦や謝罪などを省略する言語傾向が分かった。意圖的な言語行動においては、約束の取消しの理由を具體的に提示するのは相手からの理解や了解のためであり、またやむを得ない狀況を知らせることで取消し者の面子もある程度まもることができると思うためである。 なお、友だち同士で婉曲な表現や丁寧な言語表現行爲を取るのは取消される側との摩擦を減らし、關係を續けて維持したいという意圖と謝罪の意圖が含まれていると見られる。メ-ルによって日本人と約束を取消す場合、正確な文法や自然な文型の習得も重要であるが、性別による適切な談話スタイルや言語表現行爲の理解がより重要であると言えよう。 To review the aspects and characteristics of conversation development patterns of Japanese university students by gender, analysis contents were divided into formal language behaviors and intentional language behaviors. In starting and closing, which are formal language behaviors, male students do not greet or apologize to friends who they think psychologically close unlike female students. In intentional language behaviors, the reason why they explain the reason they should cancel appointment is to get understanding and acknowledgement from the counterpart. Additionally, it may be because they think they can keep their face by notifying inevitable situation. Furthermore, the reason why they use moderate expressions or polite languages to cancel appointment is to reduce conflicts and to keep the relationship intact. It also includes the intention of apology. When we need to cancel an appointment with Japanese via email, it is very important to understand appropriate conversational style and language expression behaviors according to gender as well as to know accurate vocabulary, grammar, natural expression and style.

To investigate heavy metals (Hg, Pb and Cd) and their potential health risks in commercial dried layer (Porphyra sm), we collected 45 samples from the major production areas on the western and southern coasts of Korea (Hwaseong, Seo-cheon, Gunsan, Muan, Shinan, undo, I-laenam, Wando, Jangheung, Goheung and Busan). The Hg, Pb and Cd concentrations were measured using inductively coupled plasma spectrometry (ICP-MS) or a mercury analyzer, The average Hg, Pb and Cd concentrations in the dried layer were 0.006±0, 0.017, 0.196+0.0614 and 0.894+0.4882 mg/kg, respectively, Based on the 2007 Korean Public Nutrition Report, these levels are 0.02, 0.11 and 2.47% of the provisional tolerable weekly intake (PTWI) for Hg, Pb and Cd, respectively, established by the FAO/WHO. The hazard quotient (HQ) determined from the ratio of exposure and safe levels were less than 1.0. Therefore, the levels of overall exposure to Hg, Pb and Cd for dried layer were below the recommended JECFA (Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives) levels, which indicate safe levels for public health.

The structure and environments of the molecular clouds near the SNR $HB3(G132.7\pm1.3)$ are studied. The molecular complex which is located at the southern rim of HB3 was proposed by former investigators as the one interacting with HB3. This complex region of $2^{\circ}\times2^{\circ}\;at\;l=133^{\circ}$ has been observed at $^{12}CO,\;^{13}CO,\;J=1-0\;at\;a\;1'$, resolution with the 14-m radio telescope at Taeduk Radio Astronomy Observatory. We have reached to the following four conclusions. The possibility that these molecular complex and HB3 are interacting with each other cannot be supported with any of our data. The morphologies of the two show no similarities. Neither particular features for the interaction are found in the CO lines. The hypothetical 'Molecular wall' which was expected to exist on the northwestern rim of HB3 as a cause for the noncircular morphology of HB3 is turned out to be nonexistent in CO. The molecular complex which resembles a 'bar' at a low resolution is now resolved into a U-shaped shell. It seems that the U-shape is consist of two independent components. No peculiarities, such as unseen masses or bright stars capable of forming HlI regions, are found within the U-shape region. The total mass included in the complex is estimated to be $M_{total}\;=\;2.9\~8.4\times10^5\;M_\bigodot$, which is in good agreement with previous observations within errors. Considering about 12 clumps distinguishable within the complex, the total mass implies that masses of each of clumps are on the order of $10^4\;M_\bigodot$, which makes these good objects for further studies in relation to star-formation. Especially the clumps associated with W3 are worthy for more high resolution observations for better understanding of astrophysical phenomenon ongoing in them.
