2016년 3월 31일부터 7월 31일까지 서울특별시 서초구 서초동에 위치한 서울고등학교 교정 일대를 서울고등학교 환경생물부 부원들이 채집 조사한 결과 20과 43속 53종의 거미가 조사 연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. From March 31st to July 31st in 2016, members of an environmental biology club at Seoul High School located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, Dae-Hee Kim, Dong-Woo Park, Jae-Woong Seo and Hyun-woo Lee, collected 20 families 43 genera 53 species of spiders and report the result of the study here.

저자들은 좌측 음낭 부종을 주소로 내원한 17세 남자 환자에서 고환주위에 발생한 IRS 분류 group Ⅰ, IRS-Ⅳ에 따른 stage 1, 저 위험군의 태생기성 횡문근육종을 서혜부 절개를 통한 근치적 고환 적출술 및 음낭 절제술 후 1년여에 걸쳐 매 9주 마다 5차까지의 VA 항암화학요법으로 치료 완료하였고, 치료 중 추적검사한 복부 컴퓨터 단층 촬영상 진행 소견이나 전이 소견 관찰되지 않았으며, 항암화학요법 종료 후 6개월 후 추적검사 예정으로 현재 항암화학요법 종료 후 4개월까지 특이소견 관찰되지 않고 있다. This paratesticular rhabdomyosarcoma is more frequent in children than in adult. Paratesticular rhabdomyosarcoma accounts for approximately 7% of all rhabdomyosarcomas and is the most common soft tissue sarcoma in childhood, with an annual incidence of four to seven cases per million. The rhabdomyosarcoma originated from paratedsticular region is considered to have a good prognosis in comparison with othe rhabdomyosarcomas, despite of the high frequency of retroperitoneal lymph node invasion. this superficial site allows rapid diagnosis and consequently often complete resection of the tumor. The multidisciplinary treatment of paratesticular rhabdomyosarcoma has improved control of the disease with a 2-year survival of 80%. Especially, The outcome for patients with localized paratesticular rhabdomyosarcoma is excellent with the use of the new regimen rather than traditional regimen composed of alkylating agent: an alkylating-free and anthracycline-free regimen is adequate treatment for low-risk patients. We report a case of paratesticular rhabdomyosarcoma of embryonal type in a 17-year-old male who presented left scrotal swelling without tenderness. The diagnosis was confirmed by biopsy. After left radical orchiectomy and hemiscrotectomy, he received VA (Vincristine/Actinomycin-D) chemotherapy.
비정상 맹출로와 치근 만곡을 지닌 매복 상악영구전치의 자가치아이식 치험례

매복치의 치료는 그 발생원인,치아의 발육단계,매복된 위치 및 맹출 경로,환자의 협조도 등을 고려하여 치료방법을 결정 한다. 일반적으로 맹출에 영향을 줄 수 있는 유전적,전신적 유발인자가 있다면 이의 치료와 더불어 맹출 유도를 위한 조기치료의 필요성이 있으며,맹출에 장애를 주는 물리적 요소가 존재한다면 이를 우선적으로 제거해야 한다. 그러나 맹출과 관련된 어떠한 요인이나 맹출공간 부족 등이 발견되지 않았다면 유치 발거 이외에 치아를 외과적으로 노출시킨 후 교정장치를 부착하고 교정력을 이용하는 치아맹출 유도법,그리고 매복치를 외과적 재위치 또는 이식하는 방법을 사용할 수 있다. 자가치아이식술을 시행할 경우 치아발육 상태를 고려한 적절한 시기의 선택,적절한 치조와 형성 빛 이식치아의 발거와 식립에 있어 외상의 최소화등이 성공에 중요한 요소다. 본 증례에서는 상악우측중절치의 미맹출을 주소로 내원한 7세 여자 환자에서 CT검사결과 상악우측중절치의 치관부가 전 비극에 근접하여 협측으로 위치되어 있으며 치관부에서 만곡이 관찰되었다. 치근은 Nolla's stage 7정도의 발육을 보였으며 이에 자가치아이식을 시행하였다. 주기적인 관찰결과 치근흡수 등의 합병증 없이 양호한 치유양상이 관찰되었다. In the case of the impacted teeth, the clinician has to consider development of tooth, site of impaction, eruption path, and cooperation of patient, If there are genetic or general factors to effect the eruption of tooth, the clinician treats these first and then takes the early treatment for eruption guidance, If there are physical factors to intercept eruption, the clinician put them off first. However. if there are no factors to effect eruption of tooth and enough space for eruption, the clinician can consider extraction of deciduous teeth, forced eruption and surgical reposition. In case of surgical repositioning, proper time for root development, Proper socket formation, and minimal trauma are important for success. This case presents displaced impacted maxillary central incisor with dilacerated root. The development of root is Nolla's stage 7, and the tooth was treated by surgical repositioning. We can observe no root resorption and good healing pattern.

SiC nanorod has been synthesized directly on Si using CVD method. Ni was used for liquid catalyst during growth, and HMDS was used for source materials. Growth temperature and time effected grown nanorod’s diameter by growth rate. Deactivation was occurred at high source gas concentration. From the cross-sectional SEM image, SiC nanorod growth was divided two regions because of lateral VS growth effect. SiC nanorod was grown with uniaxial direction and highly crystalline phase.

Background: Recently, beneficial roles of ginsenoside F2 (GF2), a minor constituent of Panax ginseng, have been demonstrated in diverse inflammatory diseases. However, its roles in alcoholic liver inflammation and injury have not been clearly understood. Here, we investigated the underlying mechanism by which GF2 ameliorated alcoholic liver injury. Methods: To induce alcoholic liver injury, C57BL/6J wild type (WT) or interleukin (IL)-10 knockout (KO) mice were orally administered with ethanol (3 g/kg) or ethanol-containing GF2 (50 mg/kg) for 2 wk. Liver injury and infiltration of macrophages and neutrophils were evaluated by serum biochemistry and immunohistochemistry, respectively. The changes of hepatic immune cells were assessed by flow cytometry and polymerase chain reaction analysis. In vitro differentiation of naïve T cells was performed. Results: GF2 treatment significantly attenuated alcoholic liver injury, in which infiltrations of inflammatory macrophages and neutrophils were decreased. Moreover, the frequencies of Foxp3<sup>+</sup> regulatory T cells (Tregs) increased but IL-17-producing T (Th17) cells decreased in GF2-treated mice compared to controls. Furthermore, the mRNA expression of IL-10 and Foxp3 was significantly increased, whereas IL-17 mRNA expression was suppressed in GF2-treated mice. However, these beneficial roles of GF2 were not observed in GF2-treated IL-10 KO mice, suggesting a critical role of IL-10. Similarly, GF2 treatment suppressed differentiation of naïve T cells into Th17 cells by inhibiting RORgt expression and stimulating Foxp3 expression. Conclusion: The present study suggests that GF2 treatment attenuates alcoholic liver injury by increasing IL-10 expression and Tregs and decreasing IL-17 expression and Th17 cells.
New Records of Host Plant for Radopholus similis Isolated from Agathis dammara

The aim of the study is to report Radopholus similis detected from Agathis dammara in Thailand as new host plant. Existing host of R. similis was known as coffee, pepper, sugarcane and banana etc. This nematode in this study was observed morphologic character using Carl Zeiss Axioimager M2 and Axiovision Rel. 4.8 program. The result shows that a and b of the female was distorted toward maximum value of original description of species, and b′, c and stylet length was distorted toward minimum value of original description of species. This nematode was morphologically distinguished from originally detected R. similis, but measured value was similar in range of original description of species. For more information, molecular assay was also confirmed the R. similis with 98% homology with the sequence of the internal transcribed spacer region (ITS) of ribosomal DNA. We provided PCR-amplified ITS nucleotide sequence.

꽈배기 모자반 물 추출물의 항산화능과 물리적 특성에 대한 감마선 조사의 영향

본 연구에서는 꽈배기모자반 물 추출물에 식품산업에서 사용이 확대되고 있는 감마선 조사기술을 이용하여 항산화능의 변화를 알아보고, 꽈배기모자반 물 추출물의 높은 점성과 짙은 색상으로 인한 문제점을 개선하고자 하였다. 꽈배기모자반 물 추출물의 감마선 조사에 따른 항산화능의 변화를 알아보기 위해 총 페놀화합물 함량을 측정하고 DPPH radical 소거능을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 3~20 kGy의 감마선을 조사한 꽈배기모자반 물 추출물은 조사선량이 증가할수록 총 페놀화합물 함량이 증가하였고, DPPH radical 소거능도 증가하여 감마선 조사에 의해 항산화능이 증진되었다. 그리고 꽈배기모자반 물 추출물에 감마선 조사 시 물리적 특성 변화를 알아보기 위해 색상과 점도를 측정한 결과, 감마선 조사선량이 증가할수록 색이 옅어지고 점성이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 꽈배기모자반 물 추출물에 감마선을 조사한 후 식품에 적용 시 가공특성을 개선시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 따라서 감마선 조사는 꽈배기모자반 물 추출물의 물리적 특성을 개선시키고 항산화능 또한 증진시키므로 식품산업에 적용 시 기존의 천연 항산화제의 단점을 개선시킬 수 있는 기술로서 사용이 확대될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. In this study, the antioxidant properties and physical characteristics of irradiated Sargassum siliquastrum water extract were evaluated. Samples were irradiated with Co<SUP>60</SUP> γ-ray at doses ranging from 3 to 20 kGy. They were then analyzed to investigate antioxidant properties, including total phenolic compound content and DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) radical scavenging activity. In addition, physical properties such as viscosity and color were evaluated. The results demonstrated that total phenolic compound content and DPPH radical scavenging activity were significantly improved (p<0.05) by irradiation. In terms of physical properties, viscosity and color were reduced in the irradiated extracts as compared to non-irradiated samples. In conclusion, gamma irradiation improved the antioxidant properties of Sargassum siliquastrum water extract, improving its original weak point as a natural antioxidant when applied in the food industry.
